LD43 — Sacrifices must be made

Sacrifices by Thijs Tak 2018-12-07T13:39:18Z

I love this game so much! It feels so open world and the soundtrack is amazing and peaceful; playing it was a very nice experience. I had to put it down because of the movement controls. With the point and click movement, moving is too slow and boring, and it makes moving more of a hassle than something fun to do. Can you please add "WASD" move controls and maybe "mouse" camera controls? A run/sprint button would also be really nice to have, so you could quickly move from environment to environment. This would make the game so much more enjoyable for me, and if the controls were fixed, I can imagine myself sitting down and playing it for hours. If you change the controls, can you please let me know, because I would love to redownload it!

Expendabots by dalbinblue 2018-12-07T04:27:00Z

This game is incredible! Everything, the art, the music, the core mechanics, the level design, I love it all. I did get stuck on level four, since I couldn't get on the right (actually left, right as in correct) side of the metal block, but oh well, it's a game jam. You did an awesome job!

PowerGateLD by khaotom 2018-12-03T04:51:06Z

You've got a nice concept here, I just found the controls a little frustrating. The ship is in no rush to change its position when the mouse changes its position, and it doesn't feel great that to fire forward, you have to move forward. If the "move to fire" feature is intentional, it'd be nice to see it made clear in the game, since it sort of just seemed like bad programming. If you could make the controls a little more precise, I'm sure this would be really fun.

Planet 43 by MyFriendTames 2018-12-03T05:14:49Z

The animations, ui, and artwork are fantastic. I found trying to maintain a balance very fun and challenging, and I love how you implemented the theme of "sacrifices must be made". The only thing I ask is that you implement the ability to review the rules, as I found myself trying to remember how exactly the mechanics worked. I have to ask, were you inspired by BlackThornProd's Evolution game from Ludum Dare 42, if so, that's awesome. Great work on the game!

RPG 9000 by azlen 2018-12-03T05:01:38Z

This is such a great and well polished game, and I get that you were under extreme time constraints. I'm really glad you're planning to add more. Great Job!

SATIATE! by Secretmapper 2018-12-03T03:13:17Z

Your game has an excellent aesthetic, thought its not very clear how you are supposed to obtain your 50 required food. The sound design is also incredible, I just would have loved to see a more thorough tutorial. It's excellent work for a game jam though, great job!

Let's War! by SethR 2018-12-03T03:45:49Z

This was a super fun game, and an awesome concept. I love the ending where it shows your "body count" and the roses on the sides of the screen, It's an interesting thing were your you feel like your in a stick bathroom-sign-person graveyard. Great sound design also. Fantastic job!

Orb Defender by JoshyOshKenoshi 2018-12-29T14:47:28Z

I liked it a lot more than I thought I originally would. The speed button made the slow enemy speed so much more bearable (made it perfectly bearable), and there was a nice level of difficulty in the later levels. It would be nice to see a few more features, like different types of towers and ways of distributing energy differently (left click to drag away one energy, right click to drag away all? idk just a thought).

Baldaquin 9 - I chose life by marcellus 2018-12-03T04:44:42Z

I found your game pretty confusing once I got to the "afterlife"(?) stage. I really loved the intro, as the player was just about as confused as the player character, and the poetry/rhyming added a comedic, interesting, and novel element to what would've been an otherwise fairly bland setup. I would love to see some explanation of what to do once you got to the afterlife(?) so I could continue the game, since I was pretty hooked by the intro and mysterious factor. If you can add some cohesion, I think it would add alot to the overrall appeal of the game.

Trahere by Rongo Matane 2018-12-09T23:55:56Z

Everything is amazing, except it's hard to tell exactly what you are doing when you roar. It seems that it makes the general group of villagers around you reverent, but it seems kind of random and doesn't seem like a super predictable feature. I'd like to see some indicator of when the villagers become reverent.

Chicken sexer by willmurderface 2018-12-29T14:36:28Z

I know you've already heard this, but I would really love to see keyboard implementation. It seems super fun and charming, I just don't have a joystick to play it with.

AI Flying Bomb by Bart Huylebroeck 2018-12-03T03:23:38Z

I think this could be a great game if the controls were easier to get the hang of, but with the game being how it is, it's just too disorienting and unintuitive to be much fun. It's a pretty neat concept though, hope you develop it further.

Eztli by lilkrit 2018-12-29T20:50:43Z

The graphics are nice, are so is the atmosphere (although audio wouldv'e added a ton), I just couldn't figure out the controls, leading to me not being able to continue. I'd love to see a menu telling you what the controls were.

BlobSacrificator by Sarwin 2018-12-07T04:06:14Z

With the camera being zoomed in and the world shifting over a little bit when you turn around, the game is kind of disorienting, since you can't make much sense of the world around you. Also, and I've seen this with a lot of games this ludum dare, the jump is pretty floaty, which makes jumping more of a hassle than a fun mechanic, since it doesn't feel as much like a springy fun power, it feels more like an uncontrollable gravity change. I think if you decide to add a jump to your game, making it feel good is crucial. Also, whenever you kill a blob, it doesn't feel like you have done much; it's not a very visceral experience. It kind of just feels like you have deleted an entity from the game. I think you could make it feel more real with a sound effect, some particles, and maybe a little bit of screen shake.

Sorry to be so critical, but I think if you added some of these things into your game, it would add a lot to the experience. Since the main point is to "sacrificate" blobs, I think the feel of that mechanic is the most important thing to fix. You've got a nice idea though, and nice job for doing it in two days!

Non-increasing 451208114412965 by vilix64 2018-12-04T03:59:51Z

The story was interesting, I just would've liked to have been able to move the player along a little faster, as it felt like I was kind of trudging through the level.

SQUARES by BrownRiceStudio 2018-12-04T00:09:03Z

Great concept, I just couldn't play without getting stuck moving in one direction, which made the game pretty frustrating. The graphics and mechanics were spot on though, I loved the ability to change between guns and the particle effects when you shot an enemy, it really made the game feel alive. If you could just fix the controls, I'm sure i'd...have a blast (gun joke).

Sacrifice for the zone by theBOSS12 2018-12-07T05:01:31Z

AHHHH ANOTHER PERSON WHO CODES IN JAVA! Okay sorry, had to freak out for a second. This is a really amazing, simple, fun game, and I'm super impressed. The satisfying clink of the collisions, the responsive controls, and the easy to understand rules make this game down-right incredible. Excellent job!

Land's Sacrifice by Benjamin123 2018-12-03T13:19:40Z

It would be great if you could port this to windows

Sacrificial Fruit by Koltonix 2018-12-07T20:27:12Z

You have a pretty good idea, but the delay between the player hitting a button and the game responding and the little brown fruit thing rolling makes the game pretty hard to play. I'm sure that if you could fix this, you'd have a super fun game.

Vee's Village by triplefox 2018-12-07T13:50:50Z

I really like the game, the "Build your own base" sort of thing, but since most things aren't very precise (the move controls and the placing material controls), it's kind of hard to build really precise bases. It kind of became boring since there was no real reason to build bases, you just kind of could. Also, it would be nice to have the controls stated in the game, just so if someone didn't read the ludum dare page, they would still know how to play. Nice prototype, I would love to see it developed further!

Overtime by Dvlv 2018-12-09T15:13:19Z

The story was, surprisingly captivating? I wouldn't expect a story about a white collar worker trying to balance his work and family life to be interesting, but it definitely was. I loved the different mini-games you played on different days, and I really liked how when the game ended, you got a really fleshed out explanation of what effects your decisions had. The artwork was also really charming and it don't think it mattered, since the story was so great.

Great job on this game! I can't believe you made it in 48 hours, it's really impressive!

Evolve by Amanda Priest 2018-12-03T06:11:16Z

Great concept, great music, great instructions, great everything (fantastic job!). I found one bug though that makes the game unplayable if triggered. If you try to combine two cubes at the altar before being told that you can do so, a line of text pops up that you can't move on from, and you can't do anything when the text is on the screen. If you fix this, you'll have a game worth crying over (tears of joy of course)!

Do It for Their Sake by SuperGamersGames 2018-12-03T03:35:47Z

Oh lord I can't begin to describe how much I love this game. It's puzzly, yet intuitive like a lot of puzzle games are not, and the sound design is great. I just love everything about this game, and I have nothing bad to say. Great job!

thacrifaazth by s4m4di 2018-12-03T04:57:23Z

Hey, I know you posted the windows files to dropbox, but the itch page is missing them. If you could put the files up on itch, that would be awesome!

Save the swarm by Ternarycat 2018-12-03T13:35:54Z

There was no real indicator in the game for when you lost one of your alien babies, so it didn't seem like it mattered too much, making avoiding space debris by firing your own babies at them feel unnecessary. Some sort of collision visual effect would be really nice to see. Also, a greater penalty for being hit/a lesser penalty for sacrifice would be nice to see, as it would feel like sacrific was really the best option.

Eskate Death by DougDevs 2018-12-07T04:19:19Z

A super simple concept that is really easy to get behind, and I love it! The sound effects and art are also amazing, especially the skater sprite ! Great game!

Poverty Farmer by Mightymaster99 2018-12-03T04:14:48Z

You have an amazing concept here! A resource management/business game with different ways of making income, where you start with virtually nothing. I am in love with it. Although, the mechanics are not obvious and the game is pretty unpolished. I would love to see you develop this further!

BloodSacrifice by PupYuan 2018-12-05T13:34:18Z

The art is really good, It just doesn't mesh well with the background. The sprites are really high definition, and the background isn't really. Also the jump is pretty floaty, which makes the game seem very much like a game, and it ruins a lot of the immersion that the aesthetic of the game provides. If you could tweak some things, like the jump and the art implementation, I'm sure this would be a really fun to play, immersive experience.

Judgement of a Priest by SuperGobo 2018-12-07T04:39:06Z

The art is really incredible, and so is the music. The core game mechanic is very interesting, and I think if I sat down with the game for I little while, I'd get the hang of it. It's just not quite as easy to jump into as I would like. I feel like learning how to play is more of a few "A-HA" moments, as opposed to a slow but constant gaining of knowledge. My suggestion would be to maybe add more small hints that indicate what indicators might mean a certain sacrifice. I think you have a great game, I just don't think that I am the right kind of player for it.

Nightlight by Windmere 2018-12-04T23:40:50Z

The concept is really great (my game's concept is actually pretty similar), I just coudln't progess very far on the first or second levels, and once I died on the second level, I couldn't go back to the main menu. I don't know if the levels were broken or I just wasn't playing right, but I feel like they could've used a little more attention.

Other than that you have a great game, and I'd really love to see it get developed further.

Dark Sacrifice by Peterrior55 2018-12-09T23:20:30Z

Good job for putting out a game, but it just isn't very fun. The ring of light around you is so small that don't have time to react to your enemies as they're approaching you, and once you notice them, it is already too late. The art was also really bad, not like, bad to where you can forgive the programmer for being rushed, but like, so bad that it is hard to look at (sorry for being harsh; it's true though).

Things I would suggest:

(1)-Increase the passive light radius. (2)-Clean up the maze walls, I would often get stuck on corners or jagged edges. (3)-Add enemy type variety. (4)-Make the lazer better looking. Maybe add some particle effects, some sound effects, or some transparency. (5)-Make sure your sprites look at least passable. If you have an edge, make it straight, if you have a rectangle, make sure it has right angles. Also maybe improve your color scheme, since the bright purple, pink, blue, and red really don't go well together.'

The programming meme at the end was incredible though and I laughed a ton. Good job at completing your first game and entering regardless!

Sacrifices for Santa by Malghoul 2018-12-03T03:18:06Z

I love the mood of the game, you being a sociopathic elf who will do anything if it means his life isn't on the line. Everything is adorable and the art is very charming. The gameplay loop does get kind of repetetive though, but you can't really do much about that. I loved your game and kudos to you for making it in 48 hours.

Shine by Jackson_makes_games 2018-12-03T04:36:17Z

@sarwin Yeah, I was pretty bugged about the spawn rates too. My big issue was time. All day yesterday I was at a scholar bowl tournament, and for about 1/3 of the day today, I was trying to fix one really pesky bug. I think I will fix the spawn rates and update the itch page, and I'll be sure to let you know when the changes have been made.

Detached by Toast Toaster 2018-12-07T04:46:27Z

The sound effects are top-notch, and the throw-body mechanic is really great as well. However, I did get kind of confused as to what controls did what, so I think it would have been nice to have a control guide. Other than that, great job on the game!

For You by FireBug 2018-12-04T00:20:14Z

I'm not much of a reader, but I really enjoyed how immersive the story felt, and how it felt like your choices really had an effect and were acknowledged by the game. It had an amazing atmosphere.

LD44 — Your life is currency

My Life is Not Currency by rjhelms 2019-05-18T23:03:05Z

I love how you interpreted the theme as life being "life cereal". Really great, and funny, graphics, and the sound effects/music are really fitting. Great game!

Bradley's Little Money Maker by Franklins Ghost 2019-05-19T17:01:55Z

The animations were incredible! And the neon colors gave it a really 70's vibe. I couldn't really see what to do after you filled all of your meters, and I couldn't see how it incorporated the theme. I think some nice, maybe lofi background music, would go a long way to help the atmosphere. Also, some long term goals (i.e. furniture to improve the living space, possible jobs (a way to make money), pets you could buy) would help make the game feel more alive.I think this could be developed further into something really cool!

Conway's Currency by klianc09 2019-05-19T16:55:22Z

A really cool idea! I think a lot of programmer's will appreciate the reference to conway's cellular automata. The UI was also really nice, it kind of game me an undertale vibe. A couple things though, I couldn't figure out how to attack, and I couldn't figure out how the coins interacted with themselves and other items. Also the lack of music made the game feel kind of, stale? I'm not sure, the colors were nice, there just wasn't a ton of energy. Other than those things, this is a pretty cool game, good job!

Coin Floor by ping78 2019-05-19T00:35:16Z

The game gives you a pretty nice sense of exploration, however there isn't a ton of content, and (unless I just didn't figure it out) there isn't a way to attack, so you kind of just have to run away from enemies. I'd love to see this developed into a larger game! (also that big room at the end with the red lighting was AMAZING looking)

shoot out your life by puppetmaster 2019-05-18T22:43:30Z

Really excellent all around! The graphics are simple but still work (as well as the color scheme), the soudn effects are really nice, and the music sets a great mood. It's also super intuitive, which is more than I can say for a lot of these entries :face_palm:. Great job!

Unbalanced Silly Slot Game by SimplePotential 2019-05-04T11:02:30Z

Some better graphics and controls would make this game really awesome, but at the current point it is pretty fun. Good job for only doing it in six hours!

Green Goo by Aggrathon 2019-05-12T21:59:10Z

AMAZING GAME! I played it all the way through just because of how enjoyable the experience was. Good interpretation theme, and I love how you made the game around the concept of "grey (green) goo". The music almost brought me to tears and the graphics were adequate for what was required and the time you had. It really shows how music can invoke emotion, and that graphics aren't king.

I can't explain how satisfying it was to have a giant clump of bots on the mothership, and to just sling them onto nearby planets. It was "slightly" difficult to get started, but after like 30 seconds of messing around I figured it out. Excellent game, especially for only making it in 48 hours!

The Final Rescue by mrjoshuamclean 2019-05-12T22:04:40Z

It seemed as though it was going to take 4 years to load, and it was really laggy. Sorry I can't leave a proper review.

Investicats by Jordgubben 2019-05-12T20:43:05Z

Adorbale game with a really nice interface. The text is succinct, but still descriptive enough to make an engaging story. The whole nine-lives thing also makes risk taking more fun, and it is an excellent interpretation of the theme. Well done!

Island Chain by PTSnoop 2019-05-18T22:36:08Z

I really like the idea, and I feel like this game could be made into something very educational and also fun. The main problem for me seems to be that the rules aren't explained in the most intuitive/easy to understand way, making the game kind of confusing. And (possibly because of the lack of understanding), cities seem to accumulate imports (the red arrow items i'm assuming) over time, until they hyperinflate. If there was a way to remove money from a region, that would be AMAZING, but without that hyperinflation seems inevitable.

I really like this game, and the music is super relaxing, I just think since the rules are explained not-so-well, the game becomes kind of confusing. I would really love to see you develop this further!

The Blood Gladiator by yoanndeplo 2019-05-13T02:14:55Z

The music was hilarious, I just had a hard time playing because my CPU couldn't handle the graphics ;-;

Forfeiting Your Soul by D-Studios 2019-05-18T22:45:00Z

I, do not like this game a ton. Let me explain.

In it's current state, it doesn't do much to set itself apart from all your typical dungeon-exploration, enemy-killing games. I would forgive this for a jam, but to be honest, it seems a little lazy and uninspired to do a game type as prevalent as this with nothing to jazz it up. You could add some interesting mechanics, some interesting items, particle effects, nice music, or even just polish it up. But as it is, it's not super fun to play.

Sorry my review was negative, but if you want to make a legitamately fun game, I think some novelty is required, if not novelty then at least polish.

P.S. If you are a novice/new game maker, I can totally forgive you, and great job for one of your first games!

Offworld Slaving Company by James Dunlap 2019-05-14T04:47:04Z

The volume controls didn't change the volume at all, which was kind of dissapointing (might have been an issue with my system, idk), and the goal of the game was sort of unclear? Maybe just make the goal very obvious to the player, via in game messages or ui indication (arrows, particle effects, glow, etc.), and that would make it a little more fun. The music was really nice, it was just loud. I'd love to see it developed further!

Bloody Medic by PhoenixofForce 2019-05-04T10:54:25Z

When I hit download on the github page, the game simply just wont download

Jailocorp by jaywoody 2019-05-19T00:04:18Z

I really love this idea for a game, and you executed it beautifully! I love how it feels like you are trying to solve an escape room, and the music really adds to the intensity. The idea of it also being a life or "you're getting sold" sort of thing makes it interesting and is a really nice interpretation of the theme. Great job!

P.S. I only got through the color-number puzzle

Protector by Vodzik 2019-05-18T22:52:49Z

Really nice graphics, and cool sound effects, it was just really laggy for me, making it hard to aim. If you could add some way to reduce lag, or just reduce it overall, that would be :ok_hand:

8-bit Knock Out! by NNNIKKI 2019-05-14T05:18:48Z

Love this game so much! The art is incredible, the animations are superb, and the sound effects give the game a very punch-y feel. The aspect-ratio (i know it sounds weird) is also really nice, since you feel like you are getting a wider, larger view on the scene. The graphics are simple, yet the work so well with the simple fighting, and when you add the "n"x combo pop up to the screen, it doesn't feel overly crowded. Excellent work, and great job on getting the whole sha-bang wrapped up in 48 hours!

BloodKeep by Mads 2019-05-14T05:00:14Z

ROUND  OF  APPLAUSE ! Map design: incredible. Music: well suited to gameplay and not obnoxious. Sound design: fitting and surprisingly creepy? Gameplay: extremely fun with the maze-like map and the risk-reward of sucking peoples blood. The games mechanics are simple to understand, and it is easy and intuitive to strategize. Could you put up a link for download so I could download it and have it to play whenever , it feels like all the best games are web-only. Excellent entry, 9/10 in my opinion.

The only thing I would change, maybe, would be the life meter and effect after you've sucked a persons blood. It would be cool to see the color drain from them and/or watch the tumble to the ground. It would make it feel like you were much more of a criminal, and that the police were chasing you for good reason.

Also, legitamately, the more I play, the more I fall in love with this game. Please please please put up a download link.

BloodKeep by Mads 2019-05-18T22:46:21Z

@mads Thank you so much!

Special Steak by Nalozyc Shade 2019-05-19T16:46:48Z

Wow. This is a really excellent interpretation of the theme! I think the music in the background both worked as something to keep you energized throughout the game, and it added to the creepy atmosphere. All the mini games were "fun enough" to keep you invested, and I liked how you had to weigh your options between serving a steak and chopping off an arm or losing $20. The art could use a little work, but that's pretty forgivable for a jam. Great job!

Tyrone Leinster's Debt Dream by Rob White 2019-05-19T17:09:38Z

Oh wow! This game is a real treat to play! The idea of using coins as ammo, and being able to recover those coins, is a really nice feature! The knockback, white flash, and coin explosion when you kill enemies also makes the combat feel much more visceral. The art style is nice to look at, and I can see that you spent a lot of time polishing this. The sound effects are hilarious, and the music really makes the game feel alive. I played for a solid 10 minutes. Great game, and I'd love to see some more levels!

P.S., Is Tyrone Leinster supposed to be a parody of Tyrion Lannister?

S.A.S.S. by mcovert 2019-05-02T05:57:57Z

This game is beatiful looking, and I love the sound design. But GOOD GOD, please fix the ship controls. I swear I had like 3 strokes over the course of the minutes I spent trying to make my brain understand that the y-controls were inverted, but the x-controls weren't. Please, you're game would be as good as my italian grandmothers lasagna if you would fix the controls. Thank you (also excellent game )

Evil Dungeon by Balance686 2019-05-19T01:37:41Z

I like the idea of using a limited resource (your life) to accomplish a goal, where you can mitigate the use of the resource. However, there doesn't seem to be a ton of strategy, since you kind of just have to guess where you need to go. Also, a good backing track would add SO much to the experience, and would probably make it feel less sloggy. Pretty good job for 72 hours, and I'd love to see it in further development

The Hostage by Jonathan Lorenz 2019-05-19T17:40:39Z

The jumping felt pretty good, and the music added to the mood. There wasn't a ton of polish, making the environment kind of dull, and it was difficult to outrun enemies. Good work though for a jam!

Blockson: My Life as a Cryptocurrency by DanCan 2019-05-18T23:43:27Z

Love the game. It's very fun having to automate this entire system, and upgrading being a dynamic feature (you don't just "become better", you have to plan around it). Great job, I'm surprised you got something so fun and polished done in so little time!

Bet Life by HAUO 2019-05-19T01:45:23Z

Really fun! The art is super vibrant, and really just pleasing to look at. The music is kind of, slow? I'm not sure, but I think a more jumpy poppy song would better suit the game. Other than that, it's pretty fun! I also really apprecite the telegraph on the spear attacks. It makes dodging SO much easier, and not as frustrating as it could be.

Impact! by JoshAnthony1990 2019-05-12T00:28:02Z

Really nice soundtrack, and the artstyle is really charming. Making decisions didn't seem to be such a bad idea, since they only cost a small portion of your health, so maybe make them more punishing. And there isn't really much of a gameplay loop, making the game kind of just an "explore some cool dimesions and doors" kind of thing, which is cool too. Other than those nitpicks, really nice game!

Servant to the Reaper by MediocreMonty 2019-05-13T02:04:49Z

The graphics are extremely well done, and the soundtrack also gets you pumped up to kill people. The only complaint I have is that the character is painfully slow. If he was like, just a lil' bit faster, this game would be so much fun! Other than that, great jam entry!

@mediocremonty oh yeah I getcha, sorry to nitpick

Rainbow Rampage - Twitch Overlay Game by Instafluff 2019-05-14T07:26:12Z

A fun party game, just not great for the majority of people, since you have to be streaming.

Blood Money by kristinamay 2019-05-19T16:26:32Z

This gives me a really strong "presentable liberty" vibe, where wealthy elites take advantage of the surviving human population. I think the plot you came up with was really smart, in that the new currency was literally "your life", and that it was kind of the ultimate currency, since you need it to survive. Really good execution on the theme, and I love the creepy vibes it gave off.

Super Psychic by Jackson_makes_games 2019-05-01T12:21:40Z

@adrien-dittrick It doesn’t run in the browser, it’s a java applet. If you don’t have java installed it may not run, sorry. Also, is it cheating to update your game after the initial 72 hours is over? I’d like to, but I don’t want to break the rules.

Super Psychic by Jackson_makes_games 2019-05-20T23:10:39Z

@gustavo-christino Wow! Thank you so much for the in depth review! You made a lot of great points, and yes I will definitely try to add a lot more pizzaz to the game in the coming months.

I couldn't figure out how to get out of the initial room :/

@michellemoo Please don’t forget to rate other games, it’s the only way your game will be recommended and featured. The more ratings you give, the more feedback you’ll get on your own game.

Divine Worshiping by Maxime Cyr 2019-05-14T04:28:28Z

The graphics were not the best, but that's fine for a jam, but the soundtrack (the note sequence that looped ) was really great, and gave the game a great atmosphere. It was fun at the start when there was just the things that cost money, but one you started sacrificing people, you could kind of just buy a bunch of cataclysms and instantly become the most dominant religion. Still though, it was really fun, and had a great atmosphere, just needs some balancing.

Arkane Defense by Eugen Eistrach 2019-05-02T06:10:23Z

I really like your elemental take on the run-of-the-mill tower defense game, and the "retry" waves feature is really nice. A couple things to maybe consider though, the first wave is a little tough, and is kind of hard as a starter level. And my second thing, it would be nice to see a "price" for each tower and a piece of UI somewhere on the screen saying how much health/money the player has. Still though, I really enjoyed your game, the elemental towers were :ok_hand:

IF ONE DAY... by MUSXUE 2019-05-12T00:44:52Z

The controls were pretty good, the music was INCREDIBLE, I just didn't understand what to do. There was also a lack of undo, reset, and home buttons, making the game really frustrating when you messed up. Also, the left building blocks were super frustrating with how they kept on spazzing out. Could use some more work, but it was pretty zen playing it.

Bogdan Grul's Huntless Month by gabriel_cardoso 2019-05-13T01:38:04Z

The music is nice, and the game seems really fun, it's just really hard to figure out and wrap your head around. Once I figured it out though, it was super fun and I played it for a solid 30 minutes. Could you upload a download link so I could have this game on my computer?

Delivery Vamp by AVSC 2019-05-13T05:42:47Z

Loved it. It was really intuitive, aside from struggling to find shops in the beginning. It was a nice challenge to have to deliver the different items to people, and the different shops were really cute Could you put up a link for download so I could have it on my computer? I would love to come back and play it again

Escape from the Bank by KreGames 2019-05-19T00:13:56Z

I love how you have to navigate a maze (a game type I've been thinking of making for a while), It's just sort of annoying how you get stuck to walls whenever you collide with them. There's also not a lot of polish, but that's to be expected for a game jam. Anyways, pretty fun game, just doesn't have a ton of replay-ability.

Get Me My Drones! by floxy 2019-05-19T00:08:45Z

The sound effects are kind of repetitive, which become annoying after a while. Also, the background scrolls by at like break-neck speeds, which, is cool I guess, but also is kind of sloppy looking.

On the positive side, love the scaling feature, and the drones rotating around you is pretty cool! Also, I love how you've worked on it after the jam! Great job on not abandoning the project.

Overall, sort of fun, and I think it has tons of potential.

Heartreasure by nettaigyo 2019-05-02T05:46:36Z

This game warmed my heart so much! it's super cute and all the little animations around the place are really nice. It would be cool if you could provide more hints on where to find things in case the player got stuck (which I did :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:), to make it a little more engaging, since I found myself just like clicking around a lot hoping something would activate. A really cute game jam game though! Thank you for bringing it into this world.
