Oh man, lolcats are back! Or at least the way they talk ;) I'm sad to say I got too greedy and died one too many times while having 5 lives in the bank. Oh well, thanks for the game!
Liked the way this was written. The use of depositing lives in the bank was a nice touch and I liked how you could use that to balance and try and keep yourself alive longer.

Adorbale game with a really nice interface. The text is succinct, but still descriptive enough to make an engaging story. The whole nine-lives thing also makes risk taking more fun, and it is an excellent interpretation of the theme. Well done!

Really neat. I understand that each day is random, but it'd be nice to have a little more control about whether I get to see new events. Also, I'm not quite sure why once poison killed me and another time it didn't, so being a little clearer about the why might help. Nice work!
I think this is the first time I see a text-based game during Ludum Dare, and also the first time I made one myself! Funny dialogues, I deposited one life and then got too prudent with my remaining two... Got hit by a car and at some rat poison, lights out :-(

I'm a huge fan of gamebooks, so this one was right up my alley. The possibility to cheat by undoing every turn is much appreciated :)
Good game and story, just got boring after a while.
Nice take on the theme! Engaging writing and lots of options to explore. With more dev time, I can definitely see this having some great parallel story lines. Well done.

Always fun to see what sort of story you'll write for the next jam! Had some up and downs. Saved by my vigilance one day but too low on it when returning to the same situation on a later day. It may have been foolish of me, but the at the sight of wee snowball my snivelling self could naught but offer up half my lives. 😿
