Great Game!, The only thing I felt uncomfortable was that you can't control movement in air. Overall Well Done!

Great Game!, The only thing I felt uncomfortable was that you can't control movement in air. Overall Well Done!
The Title Image Looks Awesome! (That's an image that can intrigue players to try your game). Suggestion, adding few text tutorials would have been nice, I was a little confused at first. Overall, Great Job!
Team, Congrats on your jam
Great Game!, At the begging I didn't know that to move left and right I had to press the key instead of holding a key. I would suggest to check if the player is holding the key then move to the next tile, it would be much easier to control than pressing a key. Overall, Good Job!
Great Game play!, Does the game has only 2 levels?, I asked because I played twice thinking it was a glitch, since I couldn't pass the second shop screen. Overall, Nice Job!
Nice Text based game!, Congrats on your Jam!
Nice space shooter game, I liked that the difficulty of the game was getting higher very quick, but possible to beat. Good Job!
Great Job! The music and visuals were awesome
Great Job! Beautiful Art, good Concept, good music.👍
Great Game! It reminds me of an old game I used to play in which I have to eat small fish in order to get bigger. Good Job!
The game was really fun! Great job. I don't know if there was a boss, because I died always on the 4th level/round. Overall, awesome game
One of my favorite Jams so far!, Very well done! Great Music, beautiful pixel art and awesome puzzle game design. Congrats on your jam!
Great Job! I finished the game, it felt very polished.
Love the pixel art! Great game! I enjoyed playing it. One thing I found a bit off was the collision box of the demons, as for I played I noticed that the collision box of the demon takes all the sprite (as for a top down game - The collision of the sprite should be from feet to hip, Not all the way to its head), because when I tried to attack them from above I always got damage so I stopped attacking from above. Overall really nice game! Congrats!
Nice game! At the beginning I was kind of confused since I had no guns until like two minutes from playing when I died jaja. Overall it is a great game!
I enjoyed the game, well done!.. The second boss was the best one, in terms of difficulty and coolness.
This reminds me of plague inc, but with cool graphics!
I enjoyed the game, Well Done!
@ransom did the error brake your game? I noticed that error, at like the last 3 hours the submission ended and since for me the game didn't crash I continued the final touches of the game XD! Thank you for the feedback and remembering me of that error. Even if the game didn't crash for you I'll submit tomorrow a new version with that error fixed.
Thank you all for your feedback! This helps me a lot as a developer.
@gentel @arcus @mdwade @ransom Thank you again for your feedback guys, I made a new version with the SFX volume lower and the Error: founded fixed. I really appreciate your feedback
@monkeedude1212 @bbaf @rosypenguin @gurkan96 @nandon Thank you for the feedback concerning the mini games. I actually wanted to make 4 minigames, add tutorials and make an algorithm to not repeat them, but for the time I had left for LD44 that was not possible (I only spend about 4-6 hours on those 3 including the interface animation and art).
Thank you very much
Thank you all again for your feedback, it helps me a lot!
@purrfexionator Thank you, yes... My initial plan was to have a shop system at the boss room, where I had to use the gold to buy weapons, bomb, bullets to hit the boss in middle of game play (i.e, the boss would drop an item, but in order to used it I had to pay with gold). Also, I planed to make the boss eat all gold I drooped making him bigger and stronger. But the time I had left was so little, that I just decided to use gold to recharge the weapon. I really appreciate your feedback! Thank you very much.
@seizethedia Thank you! The first comment of the game that I had from a friend was actually that. He thought that the game crashed when selecting the path. Therefore, I added KB input to choose the path along the mouse button for the version 1.1 where I fix a Bug and lower the volume of SFX. Thank you so much for the feedback.
The tools I used for making the game were:
- Godot Engine - Pixel Edit - Bfxr - Audicity and (random music generator that someone posted on LD-44, but I lost the link to it)
Great Jam here! Amazing visuals, amazing storytelling, and the controls felt perfect. The game is very polished, great job!
I really loved the art style and audio!!.. Amazing Job!
Good Job, First of all the intro music was super entertaining and Second, loved each character Bio/story. I suggest to not use the default UI and font of Unity (add art that would keep the graphics the same), because for me it was a bit distracting. But Overall, it was great!
The gameplay was excellent, the art was beautiful, the sound effects were funny... Really enjoyed the game, my only concern is the difficulty, since I couldn't pass day 3 :sob:. Overall great game!
Great Job!, I love space shooter games, and playing this one was really fun!
My only suggestion is to add a small text_label below the upgrades to explain each one of the upgrades, Overall nice game. Congrats!
Well done!, I really liked the music and the concept of the game in general. Many upgrades that adapted very nicely with the game! Good Job
Love the art style; I bought everything from the shop thinking that will be the game over, but it wasn't. Overall good job, Congrats on your Jam!
Also, don't forget to rate games! so the game can be officially ranked (The game is well done)
Great Game! It was Fun and the difficulty felt perfect!
Rate some games so it appears higher in the list (This game deserves more rates)
The visuals looks OK, the controls confused me, because in the tutorial it says to rotate with Q and E, but it actually rotates with A and E which its a bit hard. Overall, good game!
Great game, though I didn't know what to do at the start of the game. Congrats on your game
Great game! Even though the controls felt a bit off, the concept, music, art were awesome. Congrats on your Jam!
Beat the game in my first try! Great Job, I really enjoyed the game
This game is great!, very polished. The graphics and audio are a Plus!
For me, the controls were a bit difficult, because I kept pressing movement keys (WASD) and it wasn't moving since the animation of the chest didn't ended or the tile wasn't reached. I would suggest to move the player holding a key not pressing it, but keeping the rouge like style; for instance:
if key is been pressed and is_movement_allowed then move to next tile, is_movement_allowed = false... and when the next tile is reached allow the player movement again. It shouldn't be to difficult, and it will be more easier and comfortable to move the player. Overall, very well done guys
The game is actually really Fun!, I enjoyed playing it for a while. Great Job
Congratulations on your game for LD-44! although the game had a few bugs, it felt satisfying hearing the music background and finding over 45 people. I kept going right (Left doesn't work) searching for an ending, but I believe there isn't any . Hope you continue development on this game and try to fix all bugs, it will help you a lot as a developer. Great Job!
Love the visuals! The level design is also great. Congrats on your Jam! Well done.
Cool game, a recommendation that I could give you is to be careful with the particle system. At one point the game had to many particles and it lagged for me, but overall good game and congrats!!
Simple visual that look good, the game play was also great. The only concern I have is the difficulty, I think it was too easy. I manage to beat all 3 levels without dying or shooting. Overall, great game. Congrats!
Great job guys!, like that the player was able to buy items at the beginning that cost you health, (Life is your currency). The game itself was very good, I just find that the fire rate for the bow and wand was a bit to slow, but overall good job!
Note: The player jumps left to right when the mouse is near him. Hope you can fixed it
Nice Game! I enjoyed every sound effect. Simple visuals, but looked really nice together. I hope you guys continue the development of this game since it was very entertaining.
It was actually really fun playing!, A suggestion is on player Input; Not allowing player to Grab/Drop while is already Grabbing or Dropping, because whenever I clicked to Grab/Drop and it was already grabbing/dropping a human, the animation of the hand restarted and suddenly drops or grabs a human. Also, It would have been awesome if you add solo game play where you have to get an amount of $$$ before times runs out.
Overall, great job! Congrats on your game
Great Game! My only concern is in the upgrades, I was a bit confused, because I upgraded the gain health, but it wasn't gaining health afterwards. Also, to start a level you have to press on the buttons of the upgrades even if I didn't had enough coins to buy. I believe that there was a purpose on that, but it should be more clear. Overall, awesome job! and congrats on your jam
Even though it has just 1 tile through the entire map it really looks beautiful!.. I enjoyed the game.. lost 2 times against the boss, and in my third intent I believe I killed him, but since the windowed showed game over I was a bit confused. Overall, great Game here!
Loved the visuals and music! Also, the mechanic of the game felt great!. The idea of multiplying cells, the upgrades and everything in general I really enjoyed a lot. Congrats on the team Submission for LD-44, Cheers!
Great Game! Simple visuals and it looked awesome. The only thing, was I had my face very close to the screen XD, Overall, Great Job
Great game! I felt it was a little to hard, because the camera was a little to far from the coin and didn't know exactly when to jump. Overall, Nice game! I enjoyed playing it
First of all, congrats on your jam! The game was weird, but playable. Overall, good job
Note: When I went up the building I never jumped down, but it said that I committed suicide. I don't know if that was meant or it was a bug.
Good Luck
Nice game, it would be nice if added doors that are looked and that only opens when a certain key used. Overall, it was a great game and really fun to play!
Great game! My final score was 3,400
Note: I really suggest to prioritize your jump over the attack animation, because EVERY death I had was trying to jump while in the attack animation.
Overall, the game was fun - Good Job!
jaja it was really funny, I liked it. You win by leaving the game, Still I wasted 3:30 units of life
Love audio and visuals!, I enjoyed playing the game .
Glitch: When I started the game I by accident fall through the left and the camera didn't follow as it suppose to. But when I tried going to the right I suddenly appeared in the castle. Started playing normal and When I died and re-spawned next to the doctor I couldn't enter the castle. So I went back West and fell with purpose this time trying to go inside the castle down there and it let me in. I for a moment though the game was like that, but when I restarted the game I had no problem going inside the castle. Hope you can solve the issue.
Overall, great job!
Cool game!, A suggestion of my part is when a new level starts, first check if player is on top of rock and destroy it, because it happens that the player jumps when is on top of rock. Overall, Nicely done!
Great Game! I really enjoyed the game! it was Fun, it had beautiful character design, the difficulty of second level was perfect and Best of all, seen that was made by Godot Companions . Overall, awesome job! It felt very polished!
Simple, and entertaining. Well Done!, Congrats on your Jam
Well done!, the first time I played I was confused, but after I read the description I got the hang of it. A suggestion I'll make is the font, it was barely visible (increase the font size value and minimize the size of the label). Overall, great job for your first Jam guys!
The visuals and the audio were awesome! I enjoyed playing the game! great Job, though I felt a little dizzy when I was reaching the 100 XD
Simple pixel art, but honestly looks Great all together. It is great to see another LD-44 game made with the Godot Engine; I Love Godot! Congrats on your game
Very Nice Game! Graphics and sounds are amazing. My only concern with the game is the square icon used for the movement, I always expected placing solid blocks at the Icon which got me confused and missed the ball many times. Overall, awesome game! great job
Nice game, it was I little difficult to understand controls at the beginning, but after it was cleared to me it went by really smooth. Besides that the music and art were great! Great game
Wow, Impressive work! Loved everything about the game. Awesome game
Cool tower defense game-play, it was too easy to beat though. Maybe adding more stronger humans to make it a little harder. Great Job
The game-play was very smooth and felt very good overall!, loved the art and music. Great Job!
Really fun game! And it got really hard on the last day! still I manage to beat it on my first try. Nice entry!
What an amazing and polished game made in just 48 hours, very Nice!
It was a good choice for the theme "Keep it Alive", fits quite nicely. There is an issue with the sound effect of the foot steps for the player, try using (AudioStreamPlayer) instead of (AudioStreamPlayer2D) since there is no need for left audio input or right audio input. Overall great Job, I love Godot and like to see many people using the Engine for the Jam
Nice game, The difficulty of the game would be a little more balance if the fox's direction is more random. To win you just go cut the trees on the Right side and it becomes easy. Overall great game!
Awesome visuals and super smooth game-play! Really enjoyed the game! Great Job
It felt like a full game and complete game, amazing to know it was made under 72 hours. I really enjoyed the game-play and story line. Congrats on your entry.
Such a polished game made in 72 hours, I am very impressed by this game. Everything was well done and loved the music. My only concern was that I had to use the mouse only to continue for next trail or replay the last one, I feel it would be much better if only the keyboard was used. Overall Very Nice Game and very Polished!
Thanks a lot for the Feedback @guitarbro, the attack range should benefit the player more. Really glad you like it.
Thank you @amazura, we actually have sprite sheet done during the Jam for hearts dropping from grass when destroyed, but unfortunately we couldn't implemented that feature in time for the Jam. Again Thanks a lot for the feedback, its pretty much appreciated.
@perpetuummobile , I am really glad you liked the game  . We really enjoyed creating all 3 unique enemies, specially the goblin was my favorite one!
@artyom-volkov I'm glad you like the game, and concerning about the colliding dealing damage we actually never thought of that with the goblin stunned. That's a super valid point, Thank you for your feedback its pretty much appreciated.
Nice little game, you can improve its difficulty by making the fire lose life over time, since its Fire after all. The art Background was very Nice! Overall great Job for your first Jam.
Wow! the game was so intriguing that left me wanting more! super polished and complete game! Everything was amazing - Art, Music, Sound effects, Voice actors, the game-play felt super smooth. The only one thing about the game I didn't like was not been able to move when firing. Overall, one of the best for sure!
The game is ok, the physics and graphics can be improved. I got stuck on wall many times while trying to jump over platforms, it would be good if you add a material to player with small or no friction at all. Congrats on the entry!
LoL! 5 stars
My first Idea for the Jam was exactly the same but without zombies, it was more of a fast pace game such as "Overcooked" were you needed to do specific task on the patients to save them and mopping there vomit was one of them  Game-play was fun, however I felt that the doors to change to soldier or doctor were to far and it take to much to change and by that time the patient I wanted to looked for died. Overall great game, good job.
Nice game, I really enjoyed it. Check out my best score Capture.PNG
Little game with 1 only mechanic but felt very good and Polished! Very nice entry
I loved the music since I started playing it. The mood on the coach was hilarious. For me the game was super fun, however I could only hit the fire fast balls. I didn't ever touch the slow ball or regular fast ball, and I tried it many times, I feel like that needs some work. Overall, awesome little baseball game.
The game looks amazing!, art and music was were nice!. The game-play camera follow felt just a little to strong. And could never finish the game because my character always got like stuck in mid air. You should look at that issue, Overall Nice entry.
Great FPS Game! There was one thing that gave me many issues during the game, when goblins dropped guns the collider on the weapon was affecting my shots on the goblins and I didn't understand what was the purpose of the guns they dropped. I just picked them up sou it wouldn't affect my shots, Overall great game! good job.
Very polished game here! My favorite so far, it was very fun to play!
My game screen also turned black as Arturs, but for me was after Day 2 I didn't get to the third day :( sad I was having fun. If you fix the issue please let me know, I'll come back and play it again.
The visuals and music were amazing, I just find the physics of the slime a little difficult to control. Overall very well done!
The title screen and the color palette are awesome. Simple graphics that makes the game look good. The gameplay was ok, however I found it super Hard!. I couldn't get to a third platform, maybe I am just bad  Overall, Great Job
The jumping and gliding physics felt perfect! very smooth. Loved the art and music as well. Great Job!
The pixel art was beautiful, and the audio! wow that was Impressive! super enjoyable to hear. The game was challenging at first, but it became easy after realizing that you can pick up as many turtles as you want before leading them to the ocean. It would have been nice if you have added some kind of very small weight to Turtle Daddy with each turtle you carry making it a little more challenging. Overall, awesome entry! super Fun to play.
Turtle Daddy.PNG
The game looks pretty Nice. For me it was all fine until I reached the 3rd checkpoint, I couldn't reach the platforms with my jumps. Really wanted to reach the end of the game, if you patch the Jumping physics please let me know and I'll come back to try the game again.
@fvafhae I actually could beat the game this time! saw the dragon at the end, however the jumping on the corners still feels a little weird, but much better now. Great job.
I agree with others, the game idea is great. When I saw it I thought It would be a lot of fun, but I got confused as there were no instructions and didn't know if I was fighting at all, until I saw the small text saying you won the battle. This game can be improved and be a very Nice game. Hope you guys keep on it and build something amazing.
For a first its pretty well made, it really felt like the Breakout game. The one thing that would have added a lot to the game was as BluShine mentioned giving the ball an angle when it hits the paddle.
Overall, nice job.
Very nice concept. This was an enjoyable game to play.
Wow, as for all games I've played this one is has one of the best graphics. Really loved the game play as well, little hard though. Good Entry!
Nice game!, I don't know if I am the only one who experienced it, but over time the game had too much lag and unplayable. I really enjoyed the game overall, great job.
I wish there were more players in the lobby. It would have been a great experience. Great Job
Awesome Music and Nice pixel art! I have a few comments on the game-play and controls: - It felt very weird to have the Jump button on "Left Shift" I actually died because of it (The sticky key not Pop up in middle of game. - There were some platforms in which no fox could ever reached (I just pick the egg and jump into those unreachable platforms) - When you get damage by a fox you continuously get damage since there is like no wait time or cool down for the hurt effect.
Overall very nice little game! Congrats on your entry.
Great Game, It kind of remind me of the game Realm of the Mad God. It would be much better if you added: - Cursor Image, because at many times I lost where my cursor was and I had to extremely move the mouse towards some direction. - Increase health feature, maybe that some stronger enemies have probabilities to drop a heart and increase the giant heart health.
Overall, great job! I enjoyed the game
This was an interesting game concept, Aliens and chemistry. It was a little hard at first to understand what wouldn't hurt the Alien since the boxes weren't labeled, but once I got the hang of what was each it went by much better. Great Job.
Great Job, the game was super enjoyable!
Really Nice game!, the reload mechanic reminds me of the Arcade game "Time Crisis". Awesome music and smooth game-play, better visual would make the game much better. Great Job!
This game was pretty fun to play! It was pretty hard though. I feel like the camera needs a bit of improvement since at many times I lost Babey in mid air. Congrats on your first Compo, Great job overall!
The game is really nice. There some few stuff that could have been improve:
- Attack Directions: All four arrows were used for attack, however Up and Down attacks were attacking sideways. This gave me issues when an enemy came from the above or bottom, since the enemy was fast I had to go around them and try kill them sideways.
- Camera: The camera felt really weird, since in big rooms it kept changing positions. I would suggest to follow player until the end of each room.. and when it enters a new room then changing its position, otherwise just to follow the player.
- Charge Attack: I'm not sure if this was working or not, but after trying to do the charge attack many times in game I manage to use it like 3 times. Maybe it had a cool-down, I don't know.
Overall, nice little game!
At first the game was really hard to understand, but after I realized how to play it went much better. However, the angle from the crystals to redirect bolt were a bit difficult to visualize. Congrats on your game, good job.
Relaxing Idle clicker game, And love the fact that it save progress and plants can die if you don't return to take care of them in time. Great Job
Very Nice game. During game-play I was using the knight at all time since it was the easiest way to beat the enemy, however at some point my knight stayed gray (Cool-down animation) and could never used it again. Besides that it was a really fun action chess game. Great job!
The music was fantastic, the game-play felt very nice! just a little to challenging, but overall very well done
This game looks awesome: the colors, art, music all fit together pretty well. The difficulty though was a bit to high. Great job
@philstrahl Thanks for the feedback, One of the things that we always struggle the most is the difficulty of the game. That's the main criticism of all projects, so I always try to telegraph each attack to let players know hey I'm about to attack you. Thank you for sharing video and the awesome feedback during your gameplay.
Wow, I don't even know what to say...
This game is just... amazing. Seriously, it's incredibly polished with fantastic art and music. The concept of a typing game with ants on the keys that you have to kill was surprisingly satisfying to play. Top-notch work!
The game had a great old-school Lemmings vibe, and I really enjoyed the puzzle mechanics. One thing I noticed was that sometimes when I stopped an ant, it would get stuck inside the tile. Other than that, I was able to beat the first five levels, but I had some issues with level six. Overall, great job!Screenshot 2024-10-10 190655.png
EDIT: I just read the page body, and yea I was right! Lemmings! haha great job!
What a lovely game! It combines fishing with Pokémon-style combat mechanics. I loved all the different creatures, and the art and music were fantastic—they fit perfectly with the overall vibe of the game.
Cute puzzle game, and I really enjoyed it! The different abilities for each character --climbing, light, exploding Platform--were a great touch and made for some fun gameplay. Most of the levels felt really good to play. The only thing I'd point out is the last level. It felt like I could complete it in a way that wasn't intended because I tried going up when it wasn't necessary and still managed to pass it. Overall, I loved the puzzle mechanics and had fun playing!Screenshot.png
The visuals are beautiful, the audio design is great it complements the gameplay perfectly. The writing and those transitions are so well done. Overall, a very well-put-together game!
The concept of possessing a bug to use its abilities like higher jumps, rolling on walls, and pushing obstacles was fantastic. I absolutely loved the art—it was amazing—and the music fit perfectly with the map environment. The only thing is that the puzzles were a bit too hard for me. Some parts required using abilities and jumping or pushing at the same time, which was tough to do. But overall, I really enjoyed everything about the game!
I really like the arcade style. It's impressive that you built it in just 5 hours! With more time, I'm sure it would be even better. Adding more variety of enemies, squash animations, pop-up text animations, and maybe even some screen shakes would really enhance that arcade feeling. Keep up the good work!
Nice puzzle game! The levels were challenging right from the start. I have to admit, I had no idea how the second level was meant to be solved, but I managed to pass it with this set of positions. Overall, it was a fun and challenging game! Screenshot 2024-10-10 190655.png
Umm.. I kept saying what cute creatures.. until time kept passing hahaha. Really enjoyed the arcade grabbing mechanics felt good! Great job
I enjoyed the survival with the horror art theme idea! — it was nice and had a good atmosphere. There were just a couple of things I noticed: the monster creatures were always facing left instead of rotating to look at the player, and the enemy objects would push the player on contact, which sometimes confused my controls. But overall, I liked the game. Keep up the good work!
Enjoyed the game! Had a cool concept of a memory game with bugs. The game felt very polished, and I loved the little details, like the mouse hover effect on the cards or animations when pressing them. It made the game look and feel very good overall. Great job!
I have to say, I really enjoyed all the boss fights in your game, especially the second phase of the bird. The gameplay was amazing overall. Interestingly, our game is quite similar to yours—it's also a boss-rush and even has a similar name, Critter Conflict. It was fascinating to see the parallels. Keep up the great work!
This game is really good! I love the art, the audio, and the gameplay. It's definitely one of my top favorites of all the games I've played so far in this Jam.
