@WiseClock Thanks for the feedback, the health bar and sanity bar are on top of the screen, maybe it's the webgl format that is not right with the UI Scale, we have to do some polishing this evening before the end of the jam to fix this :)

Really nice atmosphere, the concept is cool but the slow down mechanic didn't made me want to restart the game after being unable to move :/ I was so pissed haha

Man.. That AI is fabulous, and the game itself is genius ! Music is cool and fits the game pretty well. I'm not a fan of card games but I had to beat the AI only once ! I figured out that one of the best way to win is to steal the priests and try to keep them until the end :) Nice work !

@johannimations Thanks for your feedback ! There is a timer in game, the round is over when the time is at 0, doesn't mean you lost the round tho :) We are aware of the controls, the post jam version tries to fix it but it's still not perfect but more playable :)
@copper-aardvark-games Didn't want to get rated in graphics because the assets used are not ours, it's from Synty Studio polygon packs :) Would not be faire to other participants that put a lot of hours into making the models for their games :)
Neat gameplay, very strategic and well balanced I think. When the laser guys came in I was like : WTF. Had to restart more than once to get it right and have a good strategy. Really good, keep up the good work !

It's a really good game, almost died because I'm too greedy and started to buy too much ladders, had to make quick back and forth in the mines with only 25$ left.
The audio is nice, but I find it a little bit too repetitive, but it adds already a lot to the gameplay.
During my first playtrough I had a bug where I couldn't move to the left anymore. I teleported in the second shop and teleported again and then I could move to the left :/ Had to restart the game but I'm glad I did and won the game :D

Love this one. I didn't understand that the goal was to have 1000 cultists tho. Got surprised when I was filling the map with the blue buildings to satisfy my OCD. Some minor remarks : - Would have loved some keyboard shortcuts for the buildings. - Maybe bind the destroy building to right click, I missclicked more than 10 times during the entire gameplay, this is not a big issue but kinda annoying.
Also I hate you for making such addictive game, thought I would spent 10 minutes on this one, played for 45 minutes... Loved it :heart:

Ok, this game is pure gold. I found it very amusing and the sounds/voice acting is really good ! Couldn't understand what I had to do in the beginning but when i found out, it was so fun ! Great job guys !
Loved it, I played it once, then came in the comment section to give my feedback, saw that it was actually possible to beat those filthy humans, played 3 times more. Still had fun. Great game, great art, great music, great mood <3 Would play it again if you were to update it later !
Cool game, loved the dialogue :D A little bit too slow for me unfortunatly, couldn't really see where I was going with the dialogues. Also maybe more dialogues because I had the same one two or three times in a row. Good jobs anyway ! Cool graphics ! :D

Cool game, had trouble to understand that I needed to hit the ennemies from behind, but maybe I'm blind haha. Couldn't collect the 8 souls required to get this dash combo thing tho :'( Really good job guys!
Loved the concept of this game. Was focusing on counting the money and typing the infos on the computer and then this racoon asked me something, I was like : "Hum... What ?"
It felt great ! One thing I would add : Tab support, so you can actually change the text input with the keyboard and not the mouse :)
Excellent game, it is so good to play ! As asid before the only really thing that annoyed me was the mistake animation. The fact that we have to wait for it to finish is removing a little bit of the pressure that you build up during a round. I like my fingers to not stop for 1 second before starting typing again :)

Man, why don't you ahve more ratings ? This game is really fun when you got it ! The controls are a bit hard to get used to but when you do it is a lot of fun. Some things to make this game better tho : - The controls are fine but when you drop an item it's dropped behind you, the logic would say that the object is dropped in front of you, many times I had to drop the held object 5/6 times in a row because I was too stupid to just go forward after dropping the object. - You could add some visual feedback when you are close to die. I had a nice big farm and got too greedy whit the seeds. I died because I bought too much seeds at once.

@ghostgoatsgames I would add : Make the selection of the cells (the black square) with the mouse, it would be much easier I think :)

Nice game, I didn't get the theme tho but still fun to play, amazing arts and the sound is cool too :) The only minor issue I found was that when you're done with a potion, it takes too much time to put it on the shelf. Or it is not clear how to do it :) Good job !

At first I thought it was just a frogger clone with a twist, but man.. I didn't saw the ennemies haha. When you understand the gameplay mechanics it's so much fun. Made it to level 4 but then was overwhelmed and too stressed to make good choices. Really fun, and the audio and arts are good too. Good job man, keep it up !

The game looks really fun, I couldn't play it tho. I didn't know when I was able to use the sword or not and sometimes the game was really buggy and couldn't hit anything at all, had to restard the game 3 times to finally kill a few blobs and stop the game because I respawned in the air. Sorry about that.. The game looks really good anyways, the graphics are top. This game would benefits a lot from a original soundtrack ! Good job !
The random generation is nicely done, as everyone else on the comment section here, the walls are sticky haha. Some things that could make your game a lot better :
- Some object/options to get life back when in the maze. Sometimes I take a path and can't go back because not enough life. - Maybe a little bit of music/sound effects to get more involved in the experience. Even just a royalty free background music adds A LOT to a game :)

I've started with the option to move the fans with the mouse, but I felt it was counter-intuitive on first play of the game, people would not always get it, especialy if they skip the tutorial. We should maybe have left the two options: slider and mouse. And mousewheel for the strength.

@chromaphase If you look *closely*, the balloon has some wind effect, we used a hinge joint and seperated the balloon and the basket in two physic entities. But it's maybe too subtle. That's why we add the zoom on the balloon when you complete a level, otherwise some players wouldn't even notice the cat was in there :D
@room606 Thanks for the feedback ! Well, this pink thingy is a first. That's not intended and we never did something like this, looks like a bug from WebGL. Can I ask you what browser you are using ?
Nice game there, as already said I guess a bit of music would be great for the game, also I felt like I couldn't regenerate often enough. The first big enemy I had to face I had to restart three or four times because there was no small enemy left to siphon :)
The graphics are good and I liked the feeling it gives when facing multiple enemies, it just fills the screen with colors without overwhelming the player.
Didn't finish the game though, after playing for 5/7 minute, the levels were a bit empty, normal for a game jam but in general I liked it. Thanks :D

Cool little game, liked the tutorial, it felt like I was already playing the game and not an introduction. I liked how you introduced Remy and then explaining the mechanics about him being off the screen when he is actually off the screen, these are details but details that feel good without realizing it most of the time.
Like others, I hoped it was longer, but if you switched engine two times during the jam, then it's totally justified :D

Some mechanics are hard to get on first play (getting out of the seats and going near the items to use them) but the idea is well executed and I found myself restarting the game more than once to save this patient because of freacking grenades... :D I would maybe add a highscore or something to have a positive feedback when you win the game and make you want to play more. Well done !
Hey, nice game ! I can totally see it as the new hypercasual trending game ! I don't have much to say about it as it felt like a finished game with a simple mechanic really well executed :) Always nice to see game with leaderboards (you can actually remove my entry, that's not my real highscore, just wanted to see how yours work haha (nevermind I got it, can do it myself haha :v: )) Good job !
Very nice game, here are some improvements I could propose you : - A small minimap to see where the attackers are coming from - In addition to the minimap, stereo sounds (spatial sounds) would be great to hear from where your turrets are shooting
I think that was the only thing that bothered me while playing the game, I had turrets all over the place and couldn't figure out which one was shooting so I was rnning in circle trying to find the attackers :smile:

Good game ! Multitasking done right and when it becomes stressful you actually have to focus to keep track of the controls and keep your cat alive.
As it was already mentioned, I could trick the AI by walking the cat outside of the garden and just destroy the octopuses one by one without mercy...

Nice entry ! Was a bit hard to understand at first but when I got it it was fun to play. I got stuck tho, maybe I'm stupid but when I placed the first block to climb a ledge, I couldn't figure out what to do next. So I went back to the ledge to see if I missed anything and I think the block was gone, so I was stuck there :/ (where you have a block and the waterfall). Like the music and I'm always a fan of these types of games made on PICO-8, love the graphics and the retro-vibe.

Hey, too bad you opted out of the mood/audio category, the ambiance and style of the game is quite stressy and I played it with headphones and the bass soundtrack got me in the mood, I was legit scared when I met the first enemy.
The loading times were a bit too long, I'm not sure what could have caused that because the levels are not that big :)
What you could improve:
- You don't have to show the controls when each level starts, once for the first level is enough and you could maybe use a reminder on a pause menu or something. - Feedback when taking an action is important, even a tiny thing to let the player know he hit the enemy or he's getting hit will remind him to take a look at his health bar. That's how I died the first time, I didn't realised I was getting murdered. - Loading time were too long, as a game made with Unity I don't really understand what could have caused this :)

@drunkardwolf Honking does clear your path some of the time, the cars around you will check if they can change lane and there's a chance that they will if they have space to do so :) There's also a 1% chance that they will go into your lane and crush you like real parisians do.
@cakii23 Thanks! I own a sound library for all explosions/cars sounds that we pitch shift based on different parameters :) Simply pitch shifting the engine clip based on the player velocity works great, and honk when a car changes lane. Also 3D sounds with small minimum distance so it sounds like some cars are far in the distance based on the player position :)

@flying-basement-studios that is totally intentional, aiming to add realism to the game, there is 1% chance that the car next to you will merge in your lane :) Thanks for the feedback :D

By the way, since you reached level 20+, you can ask me for a special model you would like to see in the game as easter egg, we already have a fiat multipla and pomo the dog on top of some cars :) Congrats anyway, that's great to see people achieving such high levels in our game and it means so much to us!

It is a bit unclear at first but you have to exit the roundabout by the exit indicateed with the orange arrow, we should have added more instructions about this somewhere tbh :/ The innermost lane is more for the player to start when he wants and chose a spot where to start :)

@onkel-mo interesting, never got to see that bug, you do have some invicibility frames when exiting the roundabout but never saw any other bugs like the one you described:)
@wabble the full source code is in github, you can go there and check the NpcCarControl.cs file I think for the AI and the CarSpawner.cs for the spawning mechanics, where they don't spawn into each other ;)
@Tad Since you played our roundabout game, I had to give yours a shot and you did it well :D Fun to play, I was not the best but still enjoyed it :)
Nice little game, I like the simple graphics style and look of the car :) After a few laps the steering of the car becomes really difficult tho I also didn't rate audio because if I'm not wrong there are no audio in the game, so you should probably opt-out of this category :) Edit: Nevermind, got my sound settings wrong

@lazzoro @hjorthen There's clearly a meta with placing too many forges, turns out balancing a clicker game is far harder than expected. We also wanted to turn it into a story-driven game and having the player grind for each level might make the player leave the game imo. Let's say it's not a bug, it's a jam-feature :D
@bobafett89 @loginaut Building forges is the meta, but you are the greedy player for always building more, so let's say you unlocked the third super secret ending that only super-greedy players can unlock :v: :smile:
@recher thanks for the honest feedback! True that it gets quite easy by abusing the forges, first time we tried this type of game and it gets trickier than it seems. If you really want to know, [here](https://github.com/cocapasteque/ld-48/blob/main/Assets/Scripts/DiggingManager.cs#L127) is the win condition, but the win text is still hidden somewhere in the scene file and same for the params leading to a win, good luck finding it ;)
Also the achievements didn't make it to the game because they would basically spam the user, since the game was not that long, putting achievements in was not a great idea.
@styps thanks, yeah as from all the other comments, the forges are overpowered, we might, maybe want to look at it and upload a post-jam version if we have the courage to do it..
Loved this entry, really clever puzzle game and the sounds/music are really relaxing, thank you for this game. I didn't quite understand how to play the game in the beginning but as you stated it is first an exploration game, when I understood how it worked, it was easier. Also I was not sure of my score, if I did good or bad at the end, maybe showing a bit more the results or in a more intuitive way would be nice.

@chris-plummer yes we are, I developed a quick leaderboard solution in .net core for the previous jams already and we use this usually with some tweaks here and there from jam to jam.
@chris-plummer Nice! I am using a mysql8 database hosted on my personal Kubernetes infrastructure, and EntityFramework to handle database migrations and operations. You can check the code for the leaderboard here if you want: https://github.com/cocapasteque/simple-board It is really dead simple but so effective and easy to deploy with the help of Github Actions and Docker :)

Very good entry! The audio fits well with the general style of the game and it feels really polished overall. One little bug I encountered is that the replay button is not working, it just stops the music from playing, to replay a level I need to go to the menu and select the level again.
The tutorial is well done also and correctly guide the player through the gameplay features without being too complicated. I feel like I wouldn't have played it more than 2 minutes if there wasn't any tutorial or guide of how to play it :)

Very nice and fun game, some points worth mentioning:
- I couldn't figure out I had to move out of the first platform after defeating the enemy, maybe some indicator on the first level to help to player understand he has to proceed to the next one. - Difficulty ramp up is very nicely done, however I would have add a few more levels before the boss, it felt a bit short in my opinion, but given the short amount of time for the jam it's already pretty good :)
Loved the music and the art style, very consistent and serves the game well. Good job guys!
Relaxing little game, nice way to start the day with calm. As mentionned before a little bit more of creative freedom for placing sandcastles would be really cool :) I also expected the sandcastles to block the waves in a way, and trying to protect my beloved castle from the sea, just like when I was a little boy on the beach. That would have added a more 'fun' dimension to that game but I get it as it was maybe not your goal with this entry :)

Cool little game, the music fits quite nicely and the puzzles are well designed, maybe a bit repetitive but that's ok for a jam :)
