Graphics and sound looks like undertale but with your own style. The concept is interesting and your game is really complete. A creature who flirts with the witch who created it ... why not.

I realy like your game, and i hate these demon ><. I'm unable to go deeper than the second floor, maybe i'll try later ;). Is there a way to heal? I had some bug with the camera. On web version i don't see the entire room and on windows version camera doesn't move when I change rooms.
aside from the feeling i walk on ice, or i'm drunk... i really like this game, graphics and concept are cool. At the end i don't have enougth life to shot so i ran away with a hord beside me X)

Funny game, but i died because I couldn't fire when two sentinels attacked me after the developer's body (very funny). It's because i sold my arm? it's not expensive enough for such a handicap on the gameplay and i think it's on purpose. But when the theme is "your life is currency", I assumed that selling my arm and leg would bring me more than that would be a problem. You got me :), gg Good work, the graphics are great, but a bit sparse, it's normal when your game area is huge ;) so it's not a real problem.
Lovely concept, and graphics are beautiful. Good work! It's just unfortunate that there isn't hitbox (I'm looking for defaults ;))

Hi @jole. You need soul to revive. The knight at the top right of the platform gives you if you talk to him. **When you die, press [space] to respawn.** *I forgot to add this info on the panel ... Sorry :S, [B] is the input to the joystick*

@nnnikki the blue jumping slimes could be souls like you who have lost their mind... Honestly, i just create them because it's the foe who take the least time to do (programming & graphics).
@sebastien-bourgeois, your goal is to leave hell and kill the knight. To reach it, you have to revive and use your body to complet bridges. Like that, you will find a portal and upgrade system. Thus, you will be able to face and defeat the knight :)

@lexi yes i know for the diagonal axes, but with my moving system, my solution to adapt the axis speed don't work... so i keep the speed like that... I understood that in a compo you have to do all by yourself, so i don't add music because i had absolutely not experience in that domain...

Did you speek to the npc in hell @memel06 ? Someone give you souls to respawn ;). Even if you speak about respawn with death UI.
@memel06, if you don't have soul, you can't respawn, the only thing you could do is wait that slime kill themself :)

@hugonun for the movement, i'm really agree with you and the first thing i did when i remade it is to delete this effect of helicopter (XD I love this comparison). Just i wasn't use Unity before and in 48h you don't have enouth time to know how to change that... I don't develop any AI on this compo, but you're wrong for the big knight ;) he began to attack you when you enter in his reach (don't made it interesting at all, when i will finished the fight system on the new version, i'll remade this boss with more pattern and movement).

I find two problem with a 4th player @fronwewq. Indeed it was too chaotic, and i have to extends the duration to each loop for be playable :/ but if i extends the duration, it'll be a bit boring when there are only two player.

Yes @anomay, game difficulty is based on chaos you create trying to kill other character... so when you find a kind of order it became realy simple

Game is fun, fuel mecanics realy change gameplay each loop! And the fact that you fall all at the end of the timer is realy interesting :) Maybe your mecanics are a bit rigid, for example, inertie in air is different when you fall and when you fly. then it's difficult to be precise. However, great game!
Looping music is realy unpleasant... Unfortunatly, i didn't understand how to pass the first level :/ could you add a little guide on the inputs on the page? I'll come and test it again later

Simple game :) i like the mood, cute character and funny concept. don't understand the connection with theme and I would have preferred to be able to anticipate the fall of the blocks, with shadows on ground for example because be kill by a block that appears in front of you is a bit frustrating, and jump don't work when you are close to a wall Whatever your game touched me, don't realy know why. hope you'll fix it and maybe finish it ;)
Simple game but good for a compo ;) Choosing to work in 3D is a major challenge in these conditions so congratulations ! With a restart button, less life for bombs to encourage shooting mechanics, and a score could enhance the fun in your game I think ;)
Yeah i have arrived to finish game :) realy cool and chill, and so beautiful! Just noticed that most of time, before youre lantern isn't enough improved, fish hiting you is full random, it's a bit frustrating, you don't have feeling to control at all. I don't know if this is the wanted feeling because it adds tension and it's cool too, and you have a chance to repair at time your submarine

thanks @bidentworks for your review :) diying when you set a lightbulb is the main intention of the game ;) it allow you to use your run (for example when you don't have enough energy to go farer) for simplify futur run. I understand that many mechanics are hard to understood and i work on it ;) I hope that being more clear on the mechanics will be enough to solve frustrating element of the game :| not sure i understand your second point, could you give me a specific example? some shortcuts are meant to be used once, but the elevator is not, but they are really unclear and this is the first thing I will work on :)

Not sure i understood the connection with the theme but it's realy interesting ;) and great work for a compo! i suppose you are inspired by Bleed, am i right? The art is cool and the variety of levels offered are incredible if i could do a simple review i would say that jumping is hard to use, because hitbox is higher than character sprite and gravity is verry low. Maybe it's juste my feeling and i'm alone thinking that. But be carefull with reading input, we could jump repetitivly holding space ;) .

But yes i would like to add more multiplayer mechanics, and some content around the core game. And more work on mood to make the activity of waiting more pleasant. This is closer to real fishing in my opinion. But maybe fishing isn't fun, at least not for everyone :D

The idea is simple but really cool. Good mobile game vibe. Otherwise the game is really simple, maybe adding penalty when you put wrong vegetable in bag would be interesting.

It lacks a reward or kind of progression when we finish our first painting to make you want to continue I think, but for a game jam it's not really important, finish the first painting is enough ;)

Thank you for testing my game and for your feedback @dinoraz @nickcherns @legendarypie :wink: I was caught up by time, I didn't have time to work on the improvements and I couldn't test most of the upgrades... I'm going to try to improve this by fixing the bugs and tweaking the improvements a little.

@sudocoffee thanks :) I didn't really know where to put the attack button, since space was already taken, on another key it would have been hard to find without a guide. But i will try with Shift for roll and Space for attack, maybe it's better. The mini window was here to fully embrace the pitch ha ha, and also a way to show as little information as possible, if it wasn't here, i should have placed life, key and money on screen as basic UI.

@quasilyte Thanks for your feedback. I'm not covinced that a cooldown should be a good idea, i love 2D zelda of this style and they don't have one, this is the divesity of mob and their number that make the interest. I admit that with groups of 3 same mobs, it's less interesting ha ha.
But if I add one, it will certainly not during 0.5s :D too long for the rythm I guess.
