Some info on the controls would be good. I have no idea how to even play this.

Pretty cool idea for combat, but having to go through all the dialogue every single time you die isn't fun. Combat doesn't feel very balanced, but it might just be me.
Unfortunately I tried five minutes trying to understand the controls and couldn't manage to find one control, so I can't rate your game, even I find your design pretty good...
Could you explain how to play? I don't know if there is a bug
Tag me in a comment and I'll test again!
the same for me. I like the design but I have no idea how to play in this
Hi @deformhead @gonzo13 @firespike33 @elementary, realy sorry for my late reply... Thank for trying my game! I was not satisfied of my work on this game, so I was working on a post jam version with friend during this last two weeks. I also add a tutorial on the original page, so if you want you can try it again
It took me a sec, but I figured out the drag and drop pretty quickly, (even though from the animated gif above, it makes it seem like you can just click to place a tile).
I do wish there was a little more feedback around the dragging a tile part. (Such as the tile being picked up, dragged with the mouse, and then 'placed' in the track).
I was also a little unclear on which track was for which character. All the icons on the top are the same, so after a while I wasn't sure if my actions were doing what I hoped. I think some connection or feedback from the track to the character doing the action would help a lot.
Overall, this was a very unique entry! Time to try the post jam version! (I wanted to evaluate the jam version as-is first).
EDIT: oh... one other thing I forgot to mention from the beginning, I felt like the story text might feel better if you could just click space through it, to go to each beat. Holding space to fast-forward felt odd. Like, I still wanted to read it, but wanted to click to the next one without skipping.
EDIT 2: Ok, just tried the post-jam version, but I'm not sure what is diff. :grimacing: :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: I would double-check that build. It feels the same to me. Also, with the credits below, I was expecting sound and music as well, but couldn't hear anything.
@scrapmetal OMG you're right, it's the old version! how is that possible ><. I update it, it's ok now... sorry. I think that most of your feedback is already upgrade on the post jam version  let you see
@becher Sweet!! Np! I'll check it out! Thanks!
Just played the post-jam version... oh yeah! That was way different! Nice improvements! That was fantastic. I loved the vibe of the music and sound fx.
And all the readability on the tiles and placing them was way clearer. I actually stood a chance this time. :P Nice work!!
First, I think this game has to be played by more people. The concept is very promising and the game looks really good. On the other hand it feels 2 little unfinished. I don't know how to better describe it. The drag and drop feels a bit laggy at times. Maybe it would have help to see the block while dragging. Also the game is hard. Took me several tries to beat the first opponent. I think one issue I had was that it was unclear which colums stands for which of my heros. If that were clearer (maybe by showing an icon of the hero at the top) I could have probably blocked more efficiently more often. But those are just improvements I think usefull. And I also get that time is a limited factor.
This is very cool, I love the art style, reminds me of medieval tapestries! I didn't have any sound or music and it took me a few attempts before I was able to fully work out what I was doing. This is an interesting concept, sort of like a music-press-the-right-button type game. Very well done!
