Extract Enterprise by gamezero 2021-04-30T07:42:06Z

Yes. Please fix the link

depthscraper by lexi 2021-05-01T16:03:51Z

quite addictive game. good job! How many people have told you, you should made an app out of it? ;)

Deepest Sword by Strega 2021-04-27T06:16:36Z

Great looking game and great atmosphere. I enjoyed playing it, put couldn't make it past level 3 before rage quitting :D But that should say that the gameplay or controls were bad. Justthat I'm probably not that person who enjoys trying to master a though challenge

Tripus's Very Deep Adventure by Kornel 2021-04-27T08:55:59Z

Wow. Satisfying and great game. I love the sound! The menu Music is awesome :D And the gameplay is so much fun. There is no end though? Or ist there? I stopped at depth 60 ... did I miss anything further down?

Oiligarch by dxk2294 2021-04-27T08:04:23Z

Had the feeling I was doing pretty good ... then I got fired. Guess I missed something :D

Bun-ker Buster by Ziamor 2021-04-27T07:08:12Z

Great art and simple gamneplay. Put tough to master and that makes it fun. I also coulnd't save as many other animals I would liked to, but guess that's ok

LuK-2000 and the Fragments of the Past by Avzgui 2021-05-01T15:50:13Z

cool puzzle game. Took me a while to understand what to do in the first level :D yes, I don't ready until I am stuck, but that's also a reason many people got stuck at our game. The little robot guy is really nice and well animated. I also loved the music - have to say the character sounds are a little "scretchy" in constrast to the chill music. So far I only played 2 levels. But I'll keep it bookmarked to come back later. Right now there are too many games and too little tim ;)

DeeperMiner by Twaerd 2021-04-27T10:52:52Z

Nice looking game. I'm not sure if it works as intended though. I never got any arrows which made killing the enemies hard and I dies a lot early on. Also the fact that I'm a dwarf and everybody else is half my size is strange :)... and sound makes every game better. But for the limitations of a jam a solid and fun game

Delevator by guladam 2021-04-27T09:09:18Z

Wow. The game really took me in from beginning to end. The first rewind was a bit confusing and strange, but I guess that was good the way it way as it explained the premise without spelling it out. And just a touch. I kind of would have loves if the end scene was interactive as well. "Proceed" => press Left, "Take a seat" => space. would made it even more meaningfull I guess. But great work 5/5

Oh and coming back to the main menu after the end I find the music doesn't match the tone of the game at all. At the beginning it was great. But Right after the end it feels too happy (But that has nothing to do with the overall game experience)

Deeper-Geddon by heidelbert 2021-04-27T13:04:53Z

@nick-barrash, @jorgeblanco, @versatilesponge, @valid, @the1, @daspikeyboss, @kazz96, @robbzenonem, @truechips Thank you all for playing our game and the kind feedback. I'm happy you enjoyed it (or not , that's ok too). And yeah, the game is a bit on the challenging side. But we also didn't want to make it too easy and boring :) Also we added a downloadable Windows version. That fixes most issues with the clipping on buildings. Sadly we couldn't fix it on the WebGL build.

Deeper-Geddon by heidelbert 2021-04-28T20:08:08Z

@chewiecb, @skelleroznik, @wbertrand, @nuelijarma, @doctortm, @doctortm, @okamit Thank you all for playing our game and commenting. We had a lot of fun making the game. A factory game in 3 days was definitely a challenge. And we couldn't fix the issues with the conveyers on the webgl build. But we added a downloadable Windows version that does not have those issues. But for me it was my first game jam and I am so happy about all the love we get :)

Deeper-Geddon by heidelbert 2021-04-30T06:24:24Z

@todward, @vrerabek, @mrtnldm, @tombuston, @shigor, @egercreator, @xparker, @bmacintosh Thank you everyone for your feedback!

@ilprinny, @kfischer-okarin, @ancooper, Yeah, we noticed the issue in the main menu after release. But as it not a game greaking bug we didn't want to push another update after the deadline. And after all it's a feature: Did you never wanted to see what is behind the observable space :)

@wekri, I guess sometimes it's hard to see where the production line is broken. But we already made some plan based on the feedback to release a usability update after the jam.

@jrevel, the render order glitch only occurs on the WebGL build. I guess 72 hours was just to little time to fix that :/

@tim77, @ruslana, sorry to hear that. As I mentioned before right now there is no ingame functionallity to properly see where the problem is. If you would want to play the game again and send me a screenshot I would try to help you out ;) A frequent issue is that the conveyers are facing the wrong was.

@corporation we tried to auto-rotate the conveyers at the beginning of the project but then had to scrap that idea due to time constraints. But we definitely want to try that for the post jam update.

Bus Crawl by Valid 2021-04-29T09:16:39Z

Great game for a jam. I really enjoyed plaing it. There are some features in my mind, that would make the game better, but I know that the time restraints of a game jam don't allow everything you wnat to include. I think I did find 2 bug though. every time I build a new bus route it deducts $200 from my balance. I need to have enough cahs to reach the points further away, but then it still only costs 200. And I never managed to make any bus use the northern bridge. The always go way around and use the bridge on the south. But that didn't make me enjoy the game any less

Mines of Lessia by Quantumplation 2021-04-30T06:37:53Z

Am I just stupid or how do I do anything? :D I saw that you can scroll with W/S. But how do I move/clicke/mine/do anything? :)

Also the game looks not bad on first impression. Just add a screenshot to you jam page. I'm sure then more people will have a go at it.

20.000 LIGHT YEARS deep in THE SKY by Arivenzys 2021-04-29T08:03:40Z

Wow The game is amazing and I would love to see more of it! Still don't know how to get an A, but I will keep on trying. And I guess you ran out of time for an end scene that matches the game. That's totally fine. But if you even add anything to the game let me know.

What Happens To Corn? by ThisIsMatt 2021-04-27T11:10:55Z

:D still smiling

Deep 90 by Bit Assembly 2021-04-30T07:40:15Z

Wow this was a surprisingly good game. Only made it until I couldn't find the key code for the door. But had a fun time all the way.

If you would add some Screenshots to the page then I'm sure more player will play this

Aquanomicon by Briibot 2021-04-27T06:58:29Z

I totally agree with Finn_Tr's comment. The game is great. Great idea and great artwork. The text is sometimes hard to read in the book though and it took me a while to realise that the recipe slot was selected and I need to click an item in my inventory next. A highlight that a slot in the book is selected would be a big help. Also I didn't make it though all the way yet, but I plan to play it some more later. For now it is just too much reading (and too little coffee yet) for my taste :)

ROOTS by TheGreenWorm 2021-04-26T20:14:12Z

Loved it from the first post and screenshot. And was playing it all the way through when I should have been working on our jam game :D Such a great game

Ariel Cleanomancer and the Eldritch Sweep by alyd asmar 2021-04-27T07:50:13Z

wow. great game. looking nice and the gameplay is fun and refreshing. The sound is a little "scratchy" on my headphones

Fish Quest by GoldenPalazzo 2021-04-27T07:53:23Z

As mentioned before the controlls are really slow. Does not feel like I have any control of the fish except of moving it right a (small) bit or left a (also small) bit.

Trolling In The Deep by Joshua Jebadurai 2021-04-27T06:23:34Z

I love the artwork and sound. The gameplay is obviously easy to understand but hard to master. Maybe I just don't have that good reflexes anymore. Never made it really far down. A couple of times I died because I jumped to try to get a power up and than landed onto an enemy. Guess that's bad luck, but also it feels a bit frustrationg as there was nothing I could have done better

Defiled Reflection by BidentWorks 2021-04-30T09:48:47Z

Cool puzzle game. The bug that you die again afetr respawn is a bit annoying, as I am usually eager to try again fast, but it's nothign that breaks the gameplay. Also the art and overall atmosphere is nice. Well done

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

One More Song! by hadesfury 2022-04-08T07:49:56Z

Yeah! Amazing game. I guess if you look at everything individually it is pretty simple (some animations, but in the end mostly a few static sprites, cool music in a loop, and the "just" story driven adventure)... but combining them it just works and is amazing! I usually prefer short jam games because there usually is just no time for long games. But here I was sad when I finished it :(

Virus Bash by joewan 2022-04-05T07:26:32Z

I enoyed this one much longer than I expected to. Although I still think it is a bit too easy once you figured out the proper tactics. And the dash can be a bit obverpowered as you can dash through enemies and get out of the circle around you and are then clear from danger. Until the next wave forms around you, the dash is usually already rechared.

But besides that the game was a lot of fun Virus-Bash.PNG

Dungeon Architect by kazuo256 2022-04-07T13:04:57Z

Made it with 80 gold to spare! Cool game I like the dungeon building part. Halfway through I did some math think the golem factory just makes most sense in later levels. The bonus usually euqal themselves out and the +8sec from the golems ist the longest delay compared to the price. Or am I seeing something wrong?

Paper Plane by Simone 2022-04-09T14:29:28Z

Very simple and yet soo funny game. I also was surprised once I stared to go up and not far ;) (no spoilers) But just optimizing angles and flight patterns can take hours of your time :D

Spider Tower by Bdiebeak 2022-04-06T06:08:59Z

Indeed your game has some similarities to ours. We also thought about doing our game in 3D for a seconds, but then decided it would be too much work. I'm happy to see that you succeeded in that. I guess in the end our games are a bit different, but I also really enjoyed playing this stacking game.

Rising wind Island by ShivArt 2022-04-08T12:58:19Z

Really cool game. Had a blast all the way though. Although now that I am at the end, I wander what was inevitable...

Necro-king by filgreen3 2022-04-05T08:54:22Z

very addictive indeed. Took me a couple of runs to unlock unity at least once. Sometimes the game runs so fast though, that you didn't really notice any different between the unity as you cannot follow them individually

Rocket Lawnchair by jitspoe 2022-04-05T14:52:05Z

Cool game. Once you think you understand the controls you just fly instantly in the next house :D At least I feel pretty good with my 5.162 second highscore. I don't think there is anything that would make this specific game better :) well done.

Too Cute for Space Fights by YogurtTheHorse 2022-04-05T10:30:49Z

Wow. So far my favorite game of the jam. The artwork is amazing, the music and sound effects are spot on, and the gameplay is fun and just the right amount of frustrating :) It seems that there is an abrupt cut once the ship is destroyed and a new game starts. Had to figure out what happened the first time. But all in all a great game

Dinosurvivor by YukimiItsuka 2022-04-06T07:18:03Z

Such a cool game. The artwork is really cute and I had a blast during my 3 tries. I could agree that the difficulty could get harder sooner. At some point it did feel repetitive. But I still enjoyed watching everything going down. On my last try I followed a strict A+Space rule, in that I just pressed A and Space constantly during all the game. In the previous games it seemed that I never can run where I needed to be anyway so I tried to just keep running and shooting. That beat my personal best and ended with me being 10th in the highscore. Not sure how to prevent this, but I just wanted to share this tactic.

Blizzard by FallingFlatStudios 2022-04-05T07:59:32Z

I only played the game after the obstacles were added. And I have to say they make it way too hard (for me). I never once managed to jump past the 2nd spike. Maybe it was just too early for me, but I tried fpr over 10 minutes. Not sure how the game was before, but "Last Minute Additions" are usually not a great idea ;)

Besides that, I love the visuals. The game has a lot of potential and maybe I am just unlucky right now.

Ballgeon by koro.games 2022-04-05T09:01:24Z

Yeah! I relly liked this one. The screen shake and turn gives a great athmosphere. Sometimes the balls felt a bit slow, but in the end there was a good game balance.

Fight The Darkness by Specturnal 2022-04-07T12:18:39Z

The shark was the bestestest weapon ever! I had a fun time playing through it. In the first minute or so (probably only 10 seconds) I had trouble finding anything to fighht against ... in the end that wasn't a problem anymore

Colony Defender by Henrik Ganard 2022-04-05T08:30:51Z

Cool game. I didn't realized were the colony was at first as the view was outside the asteroid field. And it took me a second to figure out the enemys were also coming from the other side. But Once I figured that out I a lot of fun

Time DashKing by Tryston 2022-04-05T12:28:08Z

Cool game. Needed a bit to understand how to kill enemies efficiently, but then I was unstopable... until I died :D I also lost my axe e few times (twice I was standing next to a wall and shoot it parallel to it behind some barrels, and it glitched out). But in the next room the axe always returned. All in all, well done

You Are A Bomb by Benjamin Halko 2022-04-05T16:32:07Z

cool idea. and a really fun little game. My highscore was not as high as others posted here, but I still had the same amount of fun :)

Under the Moon by RollCreators 2022-04-05T16:11:10Z

I just had to take a look at your game as the tile image reminds me so much at our ld48 game. Since you have a download I can only try it when I'm back home, but I definitely bookmarked your game :) deeper.PNG

Future me problem by noskro 2022-04-05T07:03:10Z

Thanks for all the kind feeback. we really appreciate that you love the game as much as we do!

(@BearDing8: not weird. The fishing rod is actually broken at the end, and the bowling ball is unlucky in that it won't make any strikes. That's why they have to go :D )

(@DanC2236: We had a similar problem. On itch you can only make HTTP**S** calls. In Unity you can get away with just HTTP calls. Maybe that helps you for the next time)

Future me problem by noskro 2022-04-11T04:59:02Z

@specturnal: The layout is part for mobile, but also part because "portrait mode just makes sense when you try to build up". We did focus on the WebGL build during the jam though. The submitted build kind of does work on mobile, but the menu was all screwed up and we had no time to fix that. That's why the jam build is "just" web for now.

We started on those fixes for a mobile version the next day and got it running pretty fast, only to run into performance issues once you had more than 20 pieces or trash on the screen. So now we are working on redoing all our physics and trying to find a way to make it stable on mobile as well without taking anything away from the game... but with real life catching up after the jam it all takes so much time :D

Future me problem by noskro 2022-04-13T06:45:39Z

Sorry, @arthurds, you are only 3rd place right now. After I snatched the high score from you someone else beat me and i don't have a screenshot from it. So for now I will remove the highscore from the page :( But there are still 8 days left to get to the top again!

Gods of Divine Stuff: RAgnarök by Anaxie Studio 2022-04-05T10:10:50Z

Cool looking game. I like the story, but I also like that you can click through it at it is a bit long. Nothing against long stories in games, but during a jam I try to play as many games as possible, and then I am just to impatient to read all the story :D Even in our game I wanted to be able to skip the story, but I was overruled ;)

Besides that I really enjoyed your game. I think there was a steep difficulty curve from stage 1 to 2. And it would be nice to have some stats about your "weapons" to compare them besides the range.

Cup Half Full by BangTheWall 2022-04-06T09:34:08Z

This game has some obvious similarities to our game. But then is also completely different. I can see you faced some of the same issues and design ideas we did. The bounciness is something we also had for a short period of time. For our game we decided to remove it, as the container was way smaller and one of our challenges is to prevent items from falling outside. But for this game it fits perfectly. Well done I really enjoyed it.

Gail VS Snail by Matthewsworld 2022-04-05T12:15:30Z

The snail got me. Multiple times. On the last run I just closed the game so it can never get me now. And since I'm immortal I guess I won :D Really cool little game though. I like the tutorial. Especially that there is just one button that is shown every time :D

Elder Rang by OllieOA 2022-04-05T15:48:20Z

Haha! I said to myself, I'll just pay attention. How hard can it be to click the correct answer... this game is so realistic! Guess disappointment is inevitable

Nightwaker by Bottled up Dark Peace 2022-04-05T09:55:28Z

Cool game. The visuals are amazing. I am not a big fan of typing games, but the atmosphere was so great that I kept on playing and playing.

Edit: Also for me the first web link wouldn't work (wouldn't take any key inputs), but the second backup link worked just fine

Bloodlust by MaDness 2022-04-05T09:39:14Z

Yes, the combat can be tough. And for me it took forever to find a victim, but once I killed someone there always was a guard around somehow :D Fun little game though

LD52 — Harvest

Carrot Conundrum by blinry 2023-01-19T11:19:17Z

Wow. I found this game by accident in one of those "my favorite jam games so far" posts. And I am so happy I did find this gem. Like every jam puzzle game I would love to see more levels, but 14 is also a lot for a jam. And they have a really nice progression. Although in the later levels I wasn't sure if I found the correct/best solution or just hopped around until I somehow made it to all carrots :D

The grand harvest championship (I must win) by vidarn 2023-01-10T18:25:09Z

Super simple game. Very easy and no challenge at all.... and I lost :D My first impression was indeed, that the game looks great, but the gameplan is rather simple. But with more and more card it turned out to be a great stategy game. I'd also love to see a player v player version of that after the game. I can imagine playing that with my with on the bus or whenever we got 5 minute to fill.

Crop Chaos by Cambryx 2023-01-11T15:16:53Z

Wurmi by joewan 2023-01-10T08:15:11Z

Cool little game. The art and sounds are so cute. And the puzzles have a nice progression in difficulty. The last level took me a couple attempts. Would love to see more levels at some point. Also I am not usre if that would make the game better, but sometimes I felt like I cheated by running in circles until I could pass an enemy. Maybe a move limit would force the player to find a good solution instead of trying until you reach the goal.

🥕 Grow a Carrot! 🥕 by pauljs 2023-01-11T08:19:14Z

I wanted to make the same joke, that I'll come back to rate once I've completed the game. But since that has already been done I rated now instead. Obviously since I'm not a cheater I haven't seen the whole game, but the concept is just amazing. I wish I could come up with stuff like this!

Lavender Fields Forever by Rongo Matane 2023-01-10T11:21:55Z

There went my lunch break... Planned on playing 3-4 games. Not It was just one. But I had too much fun to stop. I agree with the comment, that there is no need to explore or anything. I never left the view of my tower, but I also didn't think that that was a bad thing. I also encountered the pathfinding issue once I enclosed myself in walls. I expected something bad to happen. Maybe I expected something like Colony Survival that penalized you, when you surround yourself with wall, or maybe even just prevent you from building the last wall. I'm not saying that it should, and for a jam game I don't even expect soemthing to prevent that. Just pointing out, that the issue exists.

Also I sometimes had problems with the UI being stuck in the build menu or wouldn't let me select a building to buy something. But changing browser tabs solved that most of the time.

Bas by salmonmoose 2023-01-15T07:27:04Z

Cool game. The mechanics make for some interessting puzzles. I would have loved to see more puzzle and more plants. But for a game jam the amount of content is great. And the growing animations look great! And the last level can be solved with 1 mushroom seed left :)

The Ballad of Eric Hernandez, Cattle Rancher by GeraldFIngBurke 2023-01-18T06:53:30Z

Since the MoMA seems to not acknowledge this masterpiece, maybe you should consider going international: I'm sure the Louvre in Paris is more open minded for american art. They are currently reviewing my profile picture.

Crops on fire by Richard Jedlicka 2023-01-11T17:30:40Z

Cool game. The controls feel just right and it looks amazing. After 86% percent on hard, I guess now I still have to get a decent score in Hell :D And btw: I first thought I was clever and just ran through the fire, only to figure out on the 3rd fire that there is actual damage :D Otherwise I would have had at least one point to criticize

Rough Harvest by Timur_Bahadir 2023-01-15T07:41:29Z

Yay! I'm amazing! Just like this game. It turned out rather stressfull, as I always had the screen almost full with weeds and hand to rund in circles trying to get to a planting spot before the timer went down. Maybe I should have used more of the meal, but I only ever made the healing (casserole was it?). But besides the hustle I really enjoxed the game! Also the animations looked really well made.

Cosmic Sweep by Jammin 2023-01-10T19:44:33Z

As everyone else I loved the art style. It looks amazing. For the gemaplay I also think it was a bit strange. Pretty early all debris was laying on the big planet and I just moved 5 pixel back and forth. Not sure if that was intended or what I shoudl doUnbenannt.PNG

CowMower 2000 by AXLplosion 2023-01-10T17:59:06Z

A solid entry for a first solo jam game. The graphics look good and even when the control feels a bit like driving a brick, I did have fun running over those damn cows :)

Harvest Harvest Crush by rjerez192 2023-01-11T15:11:36Z

Cool twist on tetris. Or is it it's own game. Not sure, but I still could sink a lot of time into it. Maybe at some point I can figure out how to play with the plants in mind. Right now I just try to match 4 or more blocks. wherever they may be and whatever they might do. It is just the right amount of stressfull enough so that I have no capacity left to figure out in which colum I should place the water blocks best. Just "next to the other blocks there".

Afterlife Assistance Agency by FishMasterino 2023-01-10T19:27:28Z

Game started pretty simple. But in the end it was just chaos. I loved it. At the start I was planning on commenting, that the people were too easy to distinguishe, but after the 10th soul I don't think that anymore :D

The PIT by Wouter52 2023-01-10T08:57:52Z

Great concept. I have to take a look on tghe plant growth in the code. That sounds interessting. For the puzzle itself I am not sure if it works out for me. It seems like at some point most of the plants are grown really big and I cannot place them anymore. And I can't grow smaller plants because I cannot get rid of the large ones. So I try to fill fields with seeds to get more space. But once you have 2 or 3 big plants in the inventory it is tedious as you can also only carry 2 or 3 seeds at a time. Maybe I'll have to give it another go after some more coffee.

Also hate is a strong word, but I don't like that I have to switch my hand between the mouse and the arrow keys. I would very much prefer to control the player with one hand (A/D to walk and W/S for plant/seed or somethng like that) and have the other hand just for the mouse. But maybe that's just my preference

Farm to Table: Wizard Edition by fc85057 2023-01-10T08:07:41Z

First of all: Rice should never ever be used in beer. But that's just the German in me speaking.

For the game itself, I have to agree with @plusminus, that the game is very fast at the beginning. I had 3 or 4 customers leave before I had even harvested the first crops. On the second run I was better, but I still think it should be slower/easier at the beginning and then pick up speed.

For the controlls, I am still not sure if I like it. They seems pretty simple and after some time I got the hang of it, but especially at the start I got confused a lot when to press left or right mouse button. I have no solution on how to do it better, but selecting a seed or a crop from the bottom menu before placing it felt also strange to me.

But besides that I really enjoyed the game. The art is great and the voiced lines are funny and I always love voiced characters in jam games. Makes it seems such more polished.

Click to harvest by noskro 2023-01-10T07:53:21Z

Hi @fc85057, thanks for the feedback. After submitting yesterday we were totally burned out and didn't have the motivation to do any Screenshots or How to plays. For the research you need to drop the harvested crops onto the research. And the other packs are unlocked through the research. So without it you don't get any cool new cards :)

Click to harvest by noskro 2023-01-11T06:37:23Z

Thanks @Everyone for the great feedback. The balancing was indeed tricky and in the end we decided to follow the game jam vibe and make it not to challenging. Everyone should be able to play through the different crops without having to farm an hours just to unlock the next seed. But I can see that the animations are a bit long after you've seen them a few times :)

@ian-mcd The initial draft had plans for other things like equipment that increases some stats (or protect from bad weather) and that you have to buy new plots and things like that... but a little overscoping is a requirement for a game jam, right?

@mangoworks There should be background music in the game. Strange that you got the sound but not the music. What device/browser did you use?

@evil23 If you go left (instead of right where the market is) you find the research tab. There you must research (unlock) new crops and then they will also turn up in the booster packs. I've bookmarked your game and will have a look after work when I can download it

Click to harvest by noskro 2023-01-12T14:04:56Z

Thanks for playing out game, @digital-bacon. 117 days is a good value. A bit faster than our average first time testers. Thanks for noticing the tractor. That was something I just wanted to have in the game and even when I didn't have the time to add more animations on the farm and the tractor has some issues, I really like it as well :)

Technically there is a lose condition: You can run out of money and are unable to do anything. But we didn't want to make a game that you can lose and even thought about adding a mechanic that gives you free seeds if you are broke. In the end we balanced the game so easy, that that should never happen and it is just about enjoying the journey to the end (or trying to beat the days highscore).

Making it clearer which seeds you get from which boosters is something that we should have done in hindsight. I added it to the To-Do list for a potential post-jam-update.

Click to harvest by noskro 2023-01-14T18:42:05Z

Thank you @bo-dangles and @mantsje for your kind feedback. We are happy that you liked our game. And yes. Skipping the animation was the first thing I changed for the post game jam version (that is hopefully coming soon for everyone interested). It doesn't help for the jam, but in hindsight skipping the animation should have been there from the start :)

The Feudal in the Rye by echerry 2023-01-11T19:15:18Z

Great addiction game. Gona save it and play it again after I'm done rating other games. I just need to get to the point I'm so overpowered that I win :D Edit: haha. Completely forgot to rate it as I enjoyed it so much. Will do that now

Seed of hate by OldDog 2023-01-11T17:21:10Z

The game truely has potential. It does have a few bugs and some that can end a run which is annoying. And sometimes the render oder of the cards get confused. But if you'd take the time to figure them out and maybe update some of the graphics this can be a great game.

My last try was ended by this bug: Unbenannt.PNG That happend right after I got the cards reshuffled

CROP NINJA by Bo Dangles 2023-01-12T17:39:23Z

Wow. It took me some time to get used to it. But I think part of it was getting to know what the power ups do. Once I got the hang of it I still died a lot, but I couldn't stop before finishing it. It was a real crush to finish in the 3 digits... now it is: Unbenannt.PNG

I'm not sure what you can improve. The levels are just the right amount of challenging and the controls felt really good. Only thing I could point out is that I quirte often used both power ups at the same time even if I tried to just press the button once. Not sure if that was intentional, but it felt like keeping the button pressed a bit too long used both. Maybe I would prefer to press the button twice to use both. But obviously I haven't tried how that feels for gameplay and I don't know your idea behin it.

Chess The Second by aslan 2023-01-10T19:11:40Z

Very chaotic version of chess as you pointed out. But I love it. It is way less strategic, but still a great battle :) Sometimes it was unclear to me when my pieces could move where and why not. Not from the visual part. I could see where it can move. I just didn't understand why it couldn't move that 1 field further... But I guess with some time or reading I would have understood. But besides some quality of life features I think there is nothing much that could make the game better

Void Reader - A desktop multiplayer game. by DaivyIsHere 2023-01-10T09:13:41Z

I planted and harvested the 1 plant I have from the start. But the when I try to enter the protal nothing happends. I have a Server and a Client Panel on the top left, but besides showing differnt colors when I click on them, nothing happens. Any idea what I'm doing wrong, is is there a bug in the game/server?

Don't let them bug you by Brandsma 2023-01-10T18:45:50Z

Haha, I was already typing, that I enjoyed the game, but it felt a bit slow, as you couldn't do much. One more seed per wave was a bit too few to have fun over 10 waves. But then I saw a comment that you can harvest plants to plant more. So I had to fire up the game again and you know, it was much more involved than before. It also addd a star to the theme rating. Now I am really happy with the game.

Dice Wheat Me by Joe Eric 2023-01-12T17:16:38Z

Cool game. If I understand correctly and teh art is AI generated that it is a great job finding the right pieces for this game. The gameplay is fun, but after some time it feels there is nothing much to do, or did I miss something? I mean, farming wheat and selling it to improve your production is good enough for itself. But I felt a small lack of decisions to be made.

Danger in the Potager by Odey 2023-01-10T10:32:28Z

Oh no it's a boss battle! Cool game with a good increase in difficulty. The tomato at the end was really hard, but that made it exactly the right amount of challenging. And the game is short enough to try multiple times

BUGGED by MangoWorks 2023-01-10T19:23:36Z

Cool game. extending your platform with special powers works great. But the constant firing from the ants is very stressfull (in a positiveway). Only criticism is that sometime sthe shooting didn't work for me

Combine Harv-racer by procrasteroid 2023-01-11T14:58:17Z

wow. I'm glad so many people found your game and gave you feedback. This game absolutely deserves to be played. My feedback also falls in the line of the feedback before me. A better/forward looking camera would make it easier, since sometimes on full speed I feel it was impossible to avoid the cows once I saw them. Also I'd suggest to make the track (border) better visible. Sometimes I couldn't see where the actual track was going between all that corn. It gets better in the 2nd round, but maybe just make the track border thicker. Maybe even use those red and white racing stripes in the corners? Unless that was intentional and you wanted it to feel more like you're racing on an actual field.

Techno Plants by morpheyz 2023-01-10T19:35:08Z

I don't really like rhythm games, because I'm just not good at them. I wasn't good at this game either, but I still couldn't stop trying and seeing how far I can get. The beat is just mesmerizing :)

TrainTrackTrouble by dikkop 2023-05-17T19:02:07Z

Great game. The grab mechanic works very well and even though I sometimes had no idea where the train goes and what I was doing at all I had fun just collecting things

Pack Bringer by Bugord 2023-05-04T12:13:01Z

Cool game. Reminded me to a game from my childhood, but looking waaay better  Haven't read the other comments, but what is teh computer in lvl 4 for? You can just walk right up and beat the level easily. Also I always love when Jam games with multiple levels have all their levels unlocked from the start. I accidentally peressed F5 instead of Restart in lvl 7 and then didn't had the motivation to do all levels again. during a jam most people want to try your game and only skip when they get struck. Or even if they just played the first 2 levels and then the last you would still get more and better feedback compared to them quiting after 2 levels. But maybe that's also just me

Pack Bringer by Bugord 2023-05-04T19:29:26Z

@amolker Good to know. Then I'll give it another try tomorrow. Thanks

Mission Delete by jordantanner 2023-05-16T17:13:36Z

I have to agree with Francis: Rate more games so more people can find your game. This entry is amazing. Yes, the balancing in the Jam version is sometimes a bit off, but the polish is just on spot. It looks ground, the sound is amazing and if just has this perfect feeling. And the post-jam version is even better (but this review is about the jam version).

On critisim could be that at some point I lost the overview over the power ups on the floor and had no control on which I picked up and which I avoided. At some point I was backtracking to get my "old" weapon back as some were a bit overpowered as said before.

But this game is just a jewel in this jam and more people should play this

Lo-Fi Pizza Delivery Guy During Armageddon Trying To Earn $10000 To Buy A Car by deniskazantsev 2023-05-16T16:39:49Z

Cool game. Maybe the difficulty could increase a little bit more in the end. But I never get balancing right. So who am I to complain :D I did had fun playing to the end though. But now I wander what would have happened if I kept playing and didn't buy the car once I could ...

Da Livery Quest by Sky909 2023-05-03T18:23:41Z

I don't think I have to say that the gemplay reminds me of an other game... but this feels realy good polished and is a great example for a game jam game. Delivering a great fun game without over scoping and making sure everything is just right. (btw I think those livers were destined for my customers, so now I feel bad for them ;)

RPG The Game by Becher 2023-05-16T15:42:01Z

First, I think this game has to be played by more people. The concept is very promising and the game looks really good. On the other hand it feels 2 little unfinished. I don't know how to better describe it. The drag and drop feels a bit laggy at times. Maybe it would have help to see the block while dragging. Also the game is hard. Took me several tries to beat the first opponent. I think one issue I had was that it was unclear which colums stands for which of my heros. If that were clearer (maybe by showing an icon of the hero at the top) I could have probably blocked more efficiently more often. But those are just improvements I think usefull. And I also get that time is a limited factor.

All your Deliveries have come at once!! by JAsonsumm1 2023-05-04T11:54:15Z

Is it me or is the version on the jam page not starting? Let me know if it should work and may I'll try a different browser. Otherwise I'll have to save it for the weekend when I can play downloaded games

Solar Sandwiches by Guardaro 2023-05-06T20:08:23Z

I hate this game :D Not because it is bad, but because it is really good and I am so bad playing it  It looks so cool, bugt I just have no patience for games like this. So I also use too much power and then end up anywhere but where I wanted to go. Sadly I don't have the concentration left to fight through it today, but I like what I saw enough for a good rating

The Holy Scanner by Teun de Vries 2023-05-03T18:51:55Z

Wow. Just wow. Did expect nothing. Got everything. The art is unique in that I never seen a game like that before. Hitboxes might be a bit strange sometime. But that is only so I can say something to improve :D Ah no. The title screen clearly shows a continuous laser. I wasnt infinite fire rate and not just small laser blips (and why are they affected by gravity??). Maybe I should have focused my level ups on fire rate. why didn't I do that... ok time to try one more time

Pizza Xpress by PerfectSquare 2023-05-06T19:51:32Z

Nice game. It took not that long to lean the road layout. I liked that you had to figure it out as you go. The controls were good and fun, but more on the arcade side and I probably just prefer it a bit more acurate. At some points it felt like controlling the waiter in our game :D

A Backyard Scramble by Bea 2023-05-04T07:06:30Z

I did manage to bring a full basket to the frying pan. But then was unable to get the eggs out. Should have read before I played that I could use Space :D But the game was fun. The chickens were annoying, but I guess that was the plan and that's what made it fun.

Package Man by CaperCube 2023-05-03T18:45:00Z

If you only worked half a game jam on this I am impressed. The game look really good and that explains the "little" content. For me the controlls are a bit too fast, but I know that thats also personal prefenerce (And with our game I shouldn't complain about hard controls). All in all I'm glad I found htis game, because it is a good enough jam game to go unnoticed

de-Liver by noskro 2023-05-02T09:50:56Z

Thanks for the quick feedback. The ambiance was an important factor to get the bar feeling right. And i can tell you how hard it is to actaully record enough sound bits to make it feel crouded and not sound creepy. Also @anguium, I agree that a zoomed out camera would make it easier. But that's exactly the reason why we didn't zoom it all all the time ;)

de-Liver by noskro 2023-05-04T07:58:42Z

Thank you all! I am really happy about all your comments! Yes, the controls get really hard at the end, but that was intended. The idea was that the game basically ends when you get too drunk. But since you can (theoretically) serve your guests at any level of drunkness, we needed a timer to really end the game.

The Smuggler's Map by Phanelly 2023-05-03T18:36:11Z

Wow. This is such an amazing game. I did work on a game that felt very similar in gameplay and graphics. But it's been somewhere hidden on my hard drive for some time now. Maybe I have to stea... er prirate some ideas from this game for it.

I agree with some comment that the legend on the side is a bit tricky to navigate or read. But just showing the island liek "go there", "go here" would probably make the game too simple. Not sure how to solve that issue. But I still had a lot of fun. Even with dying a lot on my first 5 runs or so

Package for the King by MatterLinx 2023-05-04T19:39:20Z

How can this game only have 5 rating! It feels so well polished. Everything works as you would expect from a full game. maybe I didn't notice the first rat immediately because it was rather small. But once I noticed what to look out for that was ok. Not sure what I could say to improve the game.

OuterSpace - Pizza Delivery by XSchaumiX 2023-05-04T07:32:15Z

I love upgrades :D The controls have just the right amount of drift to make it hard. I do think that maybe at the beginning it is impossible to shoot much and even after some upgrades I rather evade that try to destroy enemies. But the conxept works and I had a good time :)

De-LIVER by Its_Capp 2023-05-02T10:17:45Z

I just need to follow @real-human-1000 to find all de-liver themed games of this Jam :D I am looking forward to play this game and will give feedback after work when I'm back home and can play it

Oliver the Bartender by sdelay 2023-05-03T18:55:25Z

ok, my first impression was that you copied our game. But then it evolved in a completely different direction. And I do love game where you can buy upgrade for money. So this was great. Need to save it and have a longer play session when I have more time

HUBERT by ValentinWB 2023-05-06T19:45:53Z

Fun game. I had a great time. Not so my passengers. But once I got used to the controls it went a lot better. And the music is just spot on

Codename: STORK by Matt Green 2023-05-06T18:08:22Z

Is it just me or why can'T I see the full game on Itch? The viewport resolution seesm to be too small and fullscreens seems to be disabled. I like the first look of the game, but sadly cannot play it right now

Codename: STORK by Matt Green 2023-05-06T18:42:29Z

Thanks for fixing. This game has a lot potential. What is there is really done well. But as mentioned before, and as you said, it could use some varienty over time. But as I said before regarding the constrains of the jam this is a cool game. Maybe I would have changed the design of the 2 grey buttons. The first minutes I was trying to do anything to enable them until I realized that they are just greay and not disabled :)

De-livery by Sylf 2023-05-02T10:15:04Z

21, 41 and 45. Hope I myself do better. I like the gemplay idea. If I had to point out 3 things, it's that it tooke me a while to figure out I can move my Defenses once they are placed and that it is not too easy to see when a new Defense is realy to be placed. Yes, they do fill up, but the last rows of pixels are hard to see. Some visual feedback when they are ready would be nice. And lastly I can't believe we didn't think about the Liverpool pun. I cannot guarantee that I will not steal this idea and transdform our bar into a pub located in Liverpool :D

Rock Paper Scissors Inc. by Weston Goggins 2023-05-06T18:23:12Z

great idea. The concept is so simple and still so hard. For the second level I needed a bit to understand what to do. The first one was a nice intro in the mechanics, but I didn't had to think at all. So the step in difficulty to the second level was a big one for me. But the I had a great time solving the puzzles. Puzzle games are hard to make and this one is really good

De-Livery: A Game About Organ Removal Surgery by Real_Human_1000 2023-05-02T10:01:19Z

First I just came here to support my fellow de-liver-er :D I have to say my first impression of the game was "that's it?". But then at lvl 3 it starts getting tricky that you have to deform the liver a bit and then the game gets fun (nothign against an easy level to get used to the controls). I dind't realize the timer until it ended the first time. That gives it a more challenging feel. Also I didn't spend too much attention to the text running at the top of the screen past the instructions. But I have a feeling I should spend a round reading all of it.

Edit: On my 3rd run I had a really difficult first level. Now I think I feel lucky that I had an easy start to get to learn the game. Not sure how I liked it to lose to the first level

Close Encounters of the Jeff Kind by Lila Pause 2023-05-16T16:45:42Z

Fun game. But was there an issue with the lifes? I didn't seem to loose any... That resulted with me rushing through at some point and just tank any hits.

De-Liver by toffedev 2023-05-02T09:54:18Z

Die livers! :D This is the first game I looked, just because our game link is "/de-liver-2". So I had to go and see who has the same game name as us and got the "/de-liver" url :id: (btw I can only download and try your game after work from home. But I will and come back for feedback)

Dispatchers by Shiiigear 2023-05-06T19:12:15Z

Beatiful little game. I love how the level are all easy enough to pass on the first or second try but then very hard to get the star. Maybe a tiered start system with 1,2 and 3 stars would be nice, because on some levels I still have no idea to get that star :D

DETOUR by Nozomu57 2023-05-04T07:24:24Z

I don't know if you were inspired by some other game, but for me this is a great example why game jams are ideal to come up with new concepts or mechanics and try them out. And this just works perfectly. I just found this gem from my "opening 10 games in new tabs at random no matter the thumbnail" and I am so glad that I did open this (nothing to say about the thumbnail, but with all those game here I probably would never have played it ;) )

Also one last note would be to maybe think about unlocking all levels form the start for a game jam. It can be frustrating to be stuck on a first or second level and then be unable to see the rest of the game. But this is obviously only valid for a game jam where you want as many people to see as much of your game as possible to get the best feedback.

DETOUR by Nozomu57 2023-05-04T07:49:18Z

@nozomu57 yeah, I also don't know about the rules. Maybe just leave it out. It was also ment more in general. At least that's what I learned that for puzzle games or basically any game with levels it's better to unlock all levels for a jam form the start. And since then I always comment it when I see it. Not trying to say "I am right", but just somethign to think about :D

Also I am super bad at thumbnails (and graphics). So I am probably not the best one to ask. I do like what is on your thumbnail. The art and the background look great. It just feels a bit empty to me. I would probably add some elements from you game to it. Maybe the power line around a block on one side and an enemy on the other. But that's just me personally. And I'm not an expert at all :D And this jam our thumbnail is just white text on a black background :D So... yeah not sure what to say

Parcel Panic by Amheklerior 2023-05-04T07:36:24Z

I usually prefer to include some thing to improve in my comments as just saying "this is great" doesn't provide any feedback, but here my feedback has to be that it never felt so satisfying to just press one button.
