Very nice, I only lacked some objective to follow

Lovely animation :)
Very nice puzzle game. I also got stuck in a maze, I enter a door and the character disappears... no more windows open. UPDATE: I manage to get out of the maze (with only 1 key), but the paradox puzzle stuck me :( it's the last one. I tried shaking the windows with the mouse right and left, but it is doing nothing :( SECOND UPDATE: I got it :) very nice
lol :)
Thanks for not doing a space-themed game xD
Would that be possible to export also for html5?
Any chance of a porting for non-htc users?
adding a clear way to indicate the "forward direction" would have being super helpful :)
Nice, but indeed needed a lot more polish regarding the movements and the collision :)
Very nice indeed :)
I also had the problem with the repairs :) I figured it out by myself, but it was annoying in the beginning
May I ask you which engine did you use? 'cause 90mb for a ludum dare game are really a lot...
Thank you everybody for the feedback.
@gonutz : it is possible, you can collect the resource from the nearest resource spot (the text is a lie), it should not take more than 3-4 mins to complete it.
@lazzor : I know... balancing this game was not an easy task. For some player it will seems too easy (like @kubap commented), while for others will look like impossible :( If I had more time (and energy to expend on that) I was probably going to add different difficulties level, to let everyone play at their own peace. Anyway, I'm not going to work more on this project. It taught me a lot and maybe next LD I will be able to make something better :D
nice mechanic, now the game need a scope :) Also, as other said, it would be nice a web player
having an online version would be great :)
splatter is always appreciated :)
Nice game, but you should give credits for graphics and sounds, if you didn't make it yourself.
Fun game :) I would have added some visual feedback when you hit an enemy, since many of them needed to be shot multiple time and at the beginning I was not sure if it was a bug that they were not dieing or if it was normal for them not to die. Anyhow, very nice game!
Cool animation and also the sound fit well! :) I got just a bit annoyed when the character was pushed around by running pigs, but it's a minor detail :)
Lovely idea, but I'm no more used to this very old style graphics and it gave me a bit of nausea xD But the game itself is very nice and polished!
Yup, buying upgrades and make more levels would definitely be something that improve this game :)
Nice game, indeed the difficulty had to balanced a bit better ;)
Brilliant :) The only think I was missing is some background music. But I totally understand that's a pain in the ass doing art/programming/music and everything else in compo... I did compo too and I really tried to make some decent music... I probably failed :D
Brilliant :D what programs did you use?
Quite polished :)
Publishing on a more user-friendly platform would have been super usefull... I can't install DOSbox in the computer I use at my work :(
190 seconds :) Nice variation on the platform genre!
Very nice, indeed some sounds could have helped, but it was a nice experience :)
365mb are a lot for a 48 hours game (and for my slow connection... :( )
graphics 5/5 ;)
Very cool :) simple, but enjoyable
Nice little game. Polished, entertaining. Did his job on entertaining me 5 mins before becoming an intergalattic criminal :) The existence of some kind of "story" is definitely a plus.
When I bought the advanced controls something probably bugged, I started to ear the music (that I could not before) and I died soon after...
Nice idea indeed :) I really missed some music/sound tho :(
@Oxrock: when you approach the gate your mouse arrow get visible and you should be able to click on the "chat with the driver" button. Since your visual move with the mouse, I make the camera trying to face the gate when you're near... I know it's not the best solution, but it kind of work :)
@PhillSerrazina I know, the shovel would be the best and it was on my "to do" list, together with a decent ending scene, but time is tyrant!
@hawksandwich yup, it was probably a better option, but I didn't thought about it back then and I feel a bit about cheating by changing it now ;)
Very cool art indeed :)
Lovely art, but I couldn't get past level 1, 'cause the jump (as you probably might have figured out from other comments ;) )
Nice little platform :) Too bad you couldn't fit the story of the guy! :( Story is what makes a game memorable!
Nice game, it would have been perfect if the shooting mechanics were not connected to the mouse. But the graphics is really cool and the music is not bad at all! ;)
1212 score... I couldn't find many pickups :( Nice idea, I would only have added some shooting :) Anyhow, may I suggest you this tutorial for next ludum dare? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SNR5Ubarto It's about making a seamless texture. It would have worked excellently with your background!
Would have been lovely to have also controls for the keyboard :( I do not have a joystick
I like the idea, but I'm not so sure on what I have to do :)
Lovely :) Simple and responsive. Can't ask more from a game jam
Did you put timer on update function without multiplying by Time.deltaTime? The games run too fast for me, probably due to the more powerful pc :(
Cool game :)
We both worked kind on the same interpretation of the topic! (if just I was able to do some decent pixel art...)
Cool :) indeed beautiful atmosphere!
Thank you everyone, feedback are much appreciated! The sword is there 'cause I thought it was going to be cool to have some action. With ctrl you can even swing it ;)
Then I saw the deadline approaching and I decided to move to a more "zen" experience, without any action (deleting the previous lives was an option, I tried to implement, saw that it was going to make a mess, 'cause of my spaghetti coding, and left the option out).
The hit detection is handled by unity, unfortunately I'm just an amateur.
Thanks everyone for the feedback and for the nice comments :) I know that the jumping around is still quite odd, despite I tried to make it satisfying for like the whole Saturday morning. Hehehe... But for being my very fist plarformer I'm still happy enough with it. Next time I will make sure to rock the movement feeling.
@prema I can't see your game... Can you link it?
Nice little game, I like the feeling :)
Very nice and lovely cutscene :)
Great art :) I agree with most the suggestion they already gave you, but overall was a nice game!
Cool, even if it took me a bounce of seconds before understanding how the movement was working :)
Just lovely :) Good feeling, nice graphics, scaling difficulties. My best congratulations ;)
Hey!
Indeed we had sort of the same idea for the theme :D I have to say that your music sounds a lot more Japanese than mine tho... Great job!:)
The only remark I could make is that you have too many levels for the mechanics you implemented, this results in a couple levels that "feels" like the previous one.
Nevertheless, this is a very enjoyable game. I wish all the ones I tried were like this
Well, I stole the idea on plates to open gates from other games, so feel free to use that mechanic as much as you want :D
Cute litte game! I used sort of the same mechanic for my game, but yours feel much more responsive... I should train more on platformer :)
<3
Lovely!
With more time I would have added more mutations, but in general this is really a small jewel :)
Gorth is very demanding indeed :D
Love the feeling of the game!
Very nice drawings! :)
Really nice graphics! :D Now I have to find someone to try the mechanics...
Wow! :) a RTS in a game jam! My congratulation guys! Minimal, but still working perfectly. I love this
A true Jewel :) Congratulations! I was only missing some sort of end-game. Is there a way to finish or it's just an endless game?
You can feel the urge of doing everything super fast.
I would have made bigger collider for almost everything, in the middle of the action it's hard to be precise with the clicks :D
Lovely :) One of the few rts I played this time
An LD game with an actual story :) Good Job!
Cool game, I loved the fact that there is actual voice acting :)
I don't know what this is, but it's definitely something and I enjoyed the experience :) Good job!
Nice controls and graphic, but I also do not see the connection with the theme :)
The definition of a basic mechanic implementation :) I like the very simple style, even if a bit of music/soundFX would have improved the experienced (check BFXR and other 8bit sound generator). Also, having automatic fire from the beginning could have been more compelling. All in all it was a nice LD entry! Gj!
Nice game :) I also went for a sci-fi theme! The link to the theme could have been more marked, but I also hated the theme for this edition and probably didn't stick to hit as much as I usually do ;)
Cool game, too bad for the audio, but on game jam it's normal to have to give up on something :) Cool fact: we had almost the same idea, but I didn't really have time to make all the nice rooms and I had to stick to 2 levels to be able to finish it without completely burning myself
Nice game, just one very technical suggestion: rename the executable. I'm trying several LD games and half of them are named "LD44" -.-' hard to distinguish them in the download folder! ;)
@gcttirth thanks for th meaningful critics :-) Indeed there are amy things not polished. I started with a smaller idea in mind and then I expanded it over my possibilities of delivering within 48h.
@mia-devs The theme connection would be that you need to spend your life to buy upgrades. Not particularly close relation, I have to admit :) On the other hand, this was one of the only 3 themes I voted against xD I was really no inspired by it.
@corny indeed I'm really not a "music guy" :D I like music, but I'm totally unable to compose something decent... I just have to be grateful that cgmusic was available... :)
@corny indeed I'm really not a "music guy" :D I like music, but I'm totally unable to compose something decent... I just have to be grateful that cgmusic was available... :)
Nice game indeed! :)
I love the graphic and the gameplay.
Very polished and pleasing to look at
Just lovely :D Very compelling. I had stuff to do, but I could not stop playing
Cute little game :) Lovely atmosphere, both relaxing and anxious. As in most of the game I tried up to now, I do not see a strict correlation to the theme. But I also sincerely hated this theme, so I totally understand you!
Truly impressive for a 72h game jam :) good job!
I'm always curious of other people trying to implement a 3D game in a LD jam :) Nice job. The camera is a bit annoying (you can't see at your back). For the rest the basic mechanic was very nice, but I don't see a strict correlation to the theme (as in 80% of game of this edition... who the fuck voted for this theme!? WHO!?!?!)
Really nice game to be your first one :) I would try to work harder on the camera for your next one. Also Look on youtube for Brakeys, he have some nice tutorials on how to improve the visual of your game in unity.
Good luck!
Simple and effective! Good job! :) As with most of the game I don't see a neat connection with the theme, but it was common this time :(
I'm always curious about fellows who try to do a 3D game within a LD compo event :) Nice level, you could have added some (very basic) animation for the plants to make it even more appealing, but overall it was nice and relaxing.
A bit more polish and maybe some music could have helped a lot... Anyhow, as for first attempt at a game jam is not half bad ;)
Keep improving!
Nice game and nice 3D models :) I had sort of the same idea in the beginning (an arena with different round and buying upgrades in between each round), but then I moved to a little different kind of game. As for the texture, may I suggest you to use plain colors? Sometimes they deliver better, especially with low poly models.
I see more viruses than bacteria here! (sorry, it was the biologist in me speaking) Overall nice game ;)
Short, but polished. Borderline between reading a story and playing a game. Overall very positive experience :)
In case like this, the cool graphic and the nice music made the difference between an enjoyable 5 mins and 5 mins of boredom. These were very enjoyable.
Hi! Solid entry, nice gameplay :)
Hey! Solid entry! Nice puzzles, good execution, smooth feeling :)
Maybe the text could have colored in a darked shade, since the part of the background is already quite light and it wasn't always so easy to read.
Nice concept, it took me a couple run to understand that friendly fire was a thing xD It killed me more than the skeletons.
Hi everyone. Thanks for the feedbacks!
Indeed it was hard to decide what kind of movement to implement: strife would make the experience more smooth, but then turning the camera and aiming was going to be harder (maybe a solid isometric-like point of view, with shorter walls could have been the solution)
It is in fact very short :( In Italy we say that the blanket is always the same and if you pull it on one side (better visuals and models), then you will leave something uncovered (like the game lenght or a better movement/camera controls).
@fupi we will never know ;)
Lovely voice acting ;)
Maybe a checkpoint here and there would have made the experience smoother. Restarting from the very beginning every time gives you less freedom of exploring new strategies on how to overcome each level.
Very enjoyable experience anyway!
Nice clicker game :)
PS: you owe me a new mouse now!
PPS: a 10x button would have helped, but in general it was a very nice experience
Nice game, very uncommon concept :)
Maybe a bit more feedback on what altering the parameters actually do may be useful :) As humans we can't iterate thousands of time to figure it out on our own

:(
Now it works nicely :)
Good job, it is a solid entry for a Ludum Dare. Maybe a timer or a bar indicating how much time you have left before restarting the loop would have been useful.
it crushes when I click start :(
@SpacialSeasoning I tried the html version.
That may be the issue.
The computer I am using is fairly new and I doubt it will have issues ;)
Rythm games are not my thing, but I liked the relaxing music/atmosphere.
Is it an impression of mine or the "beats" of the music are not in sync with the buttons to press?
Nice game!
Maybe characterizing a bit better the main character would have improved the general experience, but I also like the minimalistic graphic :)
Hi! The link to the web build is not working for me :(
Neat little game :) Very enjoyable.
Nice music and cute art!
Super weird experience, but perfectly in line with the LD spirit. Good job! (I may be missing the link to the "stuck in a loop" theme)
Hi, I really like the "feeling of this game". Although, I find it frustrating that I am moving on a wheel in a blocky terrain. It is often hard to manoeuvre. A more "gentle" and smooth level would have been more enjoyable :)
Nice graphic and puzzles here :)
Too bad for the lack of sounds... Especialy on a JAM entry you could have just picked something nice from a free library :(
Nice compo entry. Trying to convey the story through the game, instead of writing it in the tutorial would have helped :)
Also, I would suggest you to try to aim to give the player a scope (as small as it can be, for a 48h entry). Like find a hidden object, kill X amount of enemies, etc... it will give the player a sense of satisfaction knowing that he got to the end :)

Nice little game, quite polished to be a compo entry!
Hi!
Super cool idea, altough a bit buggy ;) at the third or fourth level my screen became black (twice, so I don't know what comes next).
But this is a game jam and bugs are definitely part of it!
I would remove the collider from the player, since it is annoying to shot on yourself, but for the rest it is a very neat execution of a golf game :)
@gnevesdev yes  You go down until you run out of fuel, then you are magically teleported up again (sorry, I did not find time for adding a visual feedback for this), you upgrade and restart digging, trying to get whatever is at the bottom of this floating island
There is no real way to lose, it's a chill game
Just amazing :) definitely better than anything I played since now in this LD!
Congrats!
Just... Thanks!
Thank you everyone =)
For once the theme really inspired me.
This time I focused completely on the gameplay, trying to return a decent controller experience.
Very nice and polished.
Not really "inevitable", but still engaging :)
I set my own goal to reach 1 million dollars!
If you guys have time, pass by to check the inevitability of gravity

@jakubbala I see your point, but we had a team of people new to game dev, none of which was an expert in drawing/modelling, therefore we preferred to give everyone a chance to add their own style to the game :-)
@langit no, the announcer was one of our team member... she was born to do that :-D
Amazing game :D it's a bit of a shame that a second player is strictly necessary, but I loved the idea
This has potential to be expanded :)
Solid entry, good job =)
Simple but addicting =) very nice!
Indeed relaxing and with a different game loop compared to most of others :)
@xoreaxeax for prototyping is super helpful. People with decent art skills can also use AI images as inspiration/templates as base and the build on it.
@fromage I would have loved too, but time was tyrant! :D
Very nice! Not many compo entry that work this smooth :)
Nice idea and nice music! =)
nice atmosphere, but it took me a while to figure out what to do =) (although, I managed to finish it!)
Impressive to be a compo entry! Good job!
Very nice =) I was only missing a bullseye on the screen to know where I was going to shoot
Simple, but effective =)
Cool, especially since it doesn't look like you used one of the mainstream game engines
Neat little game :)
