I loved this! Really smooth, fluid platformer which great sound design! I did get lost quit a lot however; the levels were quite large and sprawling. But overall, fantastic job.

Praise

Congrats on finishing your first LD! The levels are large and the use of laser/lightning beams was pretty good--they made for some good platforming.

Suggestions

Definitely fix the footstep audio--it was pretty annoying. The controls felt a little loose, too. I also felt like there were large expanses of level without any hazards.

quixatocs 2017-12-04 13:44

Nice job, I'm impressed with the size of the level for the amount of time available. I really liked that you saw all the traps in the early game before knowing that they are not just bits of decoration in the background. I really liked the mood that the audio affords.

mess110 2017-12-04 14:01

A cool game! As a suggestion, you could make the background a bit more subtle. The controls and gameplay was really nice, although I did get lost and didn't manage to save us all. Felicitari!

A good amount achieved for this LDJam game!

I enjoyed it a lot, but I agree with @move127 that the levels are too large.

That said, a fantastic result with this game! :)

Nice first ludum dare entry. Controls had a little inertia for my taste. Nice audio effects. There are some interesting mechanics (balancing spark) which could get pushed further. I don't like having to press a button to collect the letters. A global map would help. Overall good game but missing local objective and incentives. Well done.

alleskapaul 2017-12-05 15:35

A nicely polished game for a compo entry!

fashionbatman 2017-12-05 18:58

Good job! The levels were a bit too big and the background started to hurt my eyes, but it was good platforming and the sound design was awesome.

egor 2017-12-05 19:10

Damn! Great job for the first game, especially in compo! Got lost a couple of times, but still liked it. Hope to see further development)

This game is pretty huge huh? I got down to 6 thingys left until I died. Those traps get really nasty, makes it definitely a lot more challenging then just some jumping/parcour stuff.

I think it's a really solid entry and I liked how fluid the game played. The integration of the theme is also the main premise of the game which is nice! One thing that you should definitely should look into is the sound. After I got to 6 thingys left I activated the traps which shoot round circles. And they are so fucking loud, I think I woke up my whole neighborhood lol.

Otherwise great game!

tom-panton 2017-12-08 21:52

Great job! This is a really cool game with a lot of polish. The map is absolutely enormous with lots of well-designed platforming challenges; well done for managing to make all that in just two days!

gassasin 2017-12-09 01:00

Nice little game, great work! You can make camera movement little bit smoother

xacur 2017-12-09 01:12

Wow, great game. Good graphics and sound. But the gameplay and level design are awesome.

grostonton 2017-12-13 17:57

good challenge here !

cosarara 2017-12-14 19:02

Like the physics a lot. I didn't make it too far in any of my various attempts though! It didn't take me long to get lost. The map at the start of the game is good, but maybe there could be a key to show it at any place?

jandourek 2017-12-14 21:57

+ Well polished

+ Fits the theme well

- You can't really see what's below you.

Overall not a bad game :)

racso 2017-12-14 22:07

Well done! This is interesting, especially because of the size of the map and the "new traps have been activated" mechanic.

My main suggestion would be some kind of map, as it's quite easy to get lost in such a huge place. Also, some way to heal yourself or save your progress would be quite appreciated.

Good job overall!

svr-audio 2017-12-14 23:29

No way this is your first ludum dare, wow really impressive, the game is really good, I loved the concept the art and animations are fucki*&¨good, for a compo game it is even more impressive, the audio is pretty good, I loved the kinda of ambience music that is played the sfx are good, the gameplay is fun and it has a pretty good idea, the theme was well used, this is really incredible, you did an amazing job, congratulations !

sarafilipa 2017-12-15 12:48

Loved it! Very fun, nice gameplay. :) Congratulations!

zinkler 2017-12-15 12:52

Ok, I don't have to read the rest of the comments to know that you've already got two main issues pointed out - the game is too damn hard and unforgivable, and the absence of map doesn't help. When I got a glitch and became invincible I just went with it instead of restarting the game, because it was quite obvious that I'd die like a million times each few steps otherwise. That's a great game though, I really love your take on the theme, and some minor details of it.

pur3 2017-12-15 15:46

Good:

I like the art style and the ambient music brings it together quite well. It was fun and had some nice difficulty involved.

Needs work:

The camera is a bit sickening when going from side to side. It's a bit random as in, it's not the funnest when you have to look for everything in a big map.

#### Other than that everything was great, nice job! :)

simone 2017-12-17 22:02

Very nice entry, if I may give you an advice, I would have made smaller level or add a map for easier navigation :)

delayed-conclusions 2017-12-28 13:19

nice idea. pretty solid work for a gamejam. nice :)
