My favorite game so far! Love games that do not need a tutorial yet feel very complete and rewarding. It's a simple game with a simple mechanic but it's brilliantly executed and polished, and it feels really satisfying to play. Graphics are really endearing as well. Amazing job!

Simple mechanic but very fun game, I really love how easy it is to learn the mechanic without the need for a tutorial, efficient graphics, not too flashy but work well, audio also works without being intrusive, I love that you can get little boosts to help you. Overall a really solid entry that I feel like could really be expanded on with more time. But impressive entry for the short period of time!
Oh my god I LOVE THIS! Such a hilarious and original take on the theme! I adoooore the gameboy graphics, they are truly cute. The only issue I have is that I got stuck behind buildings a few times, but I mean, it's still really impressive that a solo dev made this gem of a game in 72 hours. I am in awe of this. Well done!!

I think my favorite part are the backgrounds. I absolutely love the color palette used. The character sprites are lovely too. It's clear that a lot of effort went into this game, and it ended up looking very polished and nice. :)
This was a joy! There's something very relaxing about the graphics, music and gameplay. The character sprites are amazing! Soooo cute. :) I finished both quests and then explored the map a while just because it's such a nice environment to be in. My only issue (very small one) is that the Ludum Dare game screen had scroll bars which didn't alow for the whole game screen to be shown - so I couldn't fully see the spell sprites at the top. Other than that, great effort!
Ohhhhh I LOVE the idea, I will definitely play this one, not the kind of game you'd expect in a game jam and that's a good thing!

Fun game! I love the graphics a lot, the aesthetic is super good and pleasing to the eyes. It took me a while to understand how "recover" worked and couldn't get a "0" on mental... which perhaps was the goal. But I had a lot of fun cycling through all the possibilities, a very well-written game with a lot of creativity into it that is also a nice interpretation of the theme!

What a cute little game, I fell in love with this adorable french-speaking worm. Interesting and refreshing take on the theme (also especially the irony of going "higher and higher" as a worm). It was very short but sweet and the graphics and audio are so wholesome and polished! And yes little worm, it's good to question your own purpose. :) Thoroughly enjoyed this, beautiful entry.
Wow, what a fantastic game! So polished, it's hard to believe it's a game jam entry. This might be one of my favourite entries this time around. The graphics are just gorgeous and so clean, the audio fits perfectly, the gameplay is fun and such a great interpretation of the theme. Top marks!
Unlike others, I actually like how you can't really see much of the terrain and have to blind jump and sort of "learn" what's located where instead of just following visual cues. The levels are short enough that dying and trying repeatedly doesn't feel frustrating at all. In fact I think that's what makes this platformer unique. It's a good game! Naturally, I missed some more unique graphics and audio, but I am aware that this is a short game jam and it's especially hard when it's a 1-person team. So, overall, well-done! :D I had fun!
Neat little game! I had fun, albeit my maximum was only like 3 gold before I ran out of time ahah. The graphics and overall gameplay are very polished. There's multiple features that you can add if you want to take this further to bring it to the next level, but for a LD entry, it's very solid. :D

I like this a lot! I'm always up to play a visual novel and I love when I can find the rare VN in a Ludum Dare. These games are tough to create, especially in 2-3 days, so I respect the ambition! Overall quite solid entry that matches the theme nicely, I really enjoyed the story, great graphics, writing and audio for sure. Was a bit darker than what you could've originally expected from the cutesy graphics (this is a plus!).
Simple mechanic, very fun and entertaining game. Sometimes, less is more and I love how you don't need to waste any time to learn what to do, just get straight into it and dive. Feels very solid, cohesive and polished. The art is great and I love the color palette. Overall, very impressive entry.

Incredibly polished. The sound cues are such a small detail but they really help. The art and music are not only gorgeous but give this kind of "soothing" aspect to the game that I love! Really solid entry with a simple but nicely explored concept that really fits the theme, you guys did a fantastic job. The only thing (very small detail), is that I feel that the levers are always quite hard to spot from a visual perspective. Sometimes I found them more by feel (as in, a lever "should" be here) rather than by spotting them. Hope this makes sense. But that's just me being very nitpicky on what is a basically perfect game and very impressive entry for a game jam. Well done!
This game is so good! Super fun and smart, I love the graphics / audio / voice acting and just how unique everything is. I also like the fact that you get thrown in without any explanation and that the mechanic of the game itself is really simple, it just makes you want to explore and meet the quirky cast. I will be honest that I didn't get super far, got killed evertime I tried but I enjoyed every second nonetheless. Still, I had a lot of fun and this is overall a solid and unique take on the theme. What a wholesome game! Who doesn't love saving cute puppies, right? :D Incredibly cute, and I appreciate the simple mechanic. The graphics are definitely the highlight for me. I don't know if this is a bug or not, but sometimes puppies would get stuck before sliding down the conveyor belt. If you want to bring this game to the next level (which you absolutely should if you want my opinion), some audio effects and an end goal (like others have said) would elevate this a lot. Other than that, solid effort and great game. :D

Super charming game and solid entry! Fun to play, frustrating and hard when you start but rewarding once you figure out how to play. Even though it's takes some time to figure out the mechanics in the beginning, something about the game makes you want to keep trying and trying for a long time - the neon graphics and pixel art are super pleasant to the eyes and make you want to play, and I love the audio too. This game is AWESOME. So simple, so smart, so charming. I love every aspect of it, from gameplay to graphics & audio which all fit perfectly. I wish you'd take this to the next level and add more and more levels -- my only gripe is that the game as it is is short & easy but that's completely expected as this was a 1-person effort in a 72 hour game jam. This game is simple, short and sweet. Kinda sad and nihilistic at times, which makes sense. Creative interpretation of the theme. Graphics & audio are a fantastic fit for this game - cute and minimal. Unlike someone mentioned before, the keyboard inputs worked just fine for me. Overall -- really charming and an extremely solid entry. Feels polished and finished to me, even though I know that this game can be taken in so many different directions and have a lot more content while still being fresh and unique. And I personally would love to see more. Overall, fantastic game that will make me want to go back to it once in a while. :)

My favourite game so far! It's so simple but sooo gorgeous and relaxing. Great graphics, sweet audio, incredibly smart concept. Just a note, didn't work for me on Itch.io, I got a black screen after the menu, so I had to download the game but it was 100% worth it. I will probably come back to it regularly. :) (My partner is color blind and he appreciated the little note on the menu :) )

Oh I loved this. This is one of the few games in LD40 that actually relaxed me - must be the combination of the music, audio, and writing style. Even after I got to $0 and my company went bankrupt, I got a happy ending with a pretty uplifting message. I love it when games do this. Original and beautiful. Congratulations.

Unlike some comments, I actually like the premise of cleaning in games -- it's different and relaxing! A lot of simulation games have very menial tasks so I am all up for it. It's a solid entry that feels quite polished. Art is good, sound is good, it plays well. :)

Oh, that is such a fun concept, it's a shame it is so short... Maybe I also got lucky with the holes I chose because I got to the end on my second try. But it works perfectly as a demo for a much longer game. I would love to play more levels, to be honest ;) Every bit of it is super polished! Great entry

Holy shit, this is my favorite game of LD57 so far. It's insanely funny and makes you want to keep trying just to see more of the art. Reminds me of Wario Ware mini games, which I love. It's a brilliant interpretation of the theme. I will admit that some mini-game scenarios made me physically cringe, so well done. Easy 5 stars for me.

So much fun! It's a great game. I wish there was some "explosion" animation/sound to bring this to the next level. But it's already really great. The art style is joyful!

Feels very relaxing! The mix of the graphics, audio, color palette, the smoothness of the movement... Something about this sweet little game is super chill. I like the main character a lot, it's a cutie! I do agree with the other comments that say that once you get used to the game, it becomes quite easy. With more time, it would've been great to see different types of obstacles, and the difficulty ramp up a bit as you descend. But for a game jam, this is a great achievement!

Simple is (sometimes) the best, and this is a great example of a very simple concept that works really well and feels really polished. In the beginning, I admit that I though "oh wow, this is quite simple" but it becomes nicely challenging. A very literal interpretation of the theme, and that is quite fun. Well done!!!

This is what I wish most fishing minigames were like. A lot of the times, the mechanics are just frustrating, but this one is FUN. Super solid entry, the graphics are really really cute.

So simple but effective. Theres's no need for a tutorial or explanation as everything is very self explanatory. Graphics are surprisingly fitting and add an almost ethereal quality. Really fun!

Mega polished, doesnt feel like it was developed in 3 days. Wow. I had fun playing, although it got me a while to get the hang of it. Really good entry. I also adore the quirky art style.

Very fun interpretation of the theme. Quite challenging as well. Took me multiple tries to complete the first level. More than I am happy to admit, but I am also very patient. I dig the humor, the graphics are polished, its a fun concept. Well done!
