Good game, very unique concept. Graphics were good. Moving with the mouse felt awkward, I would've have expected to use WASD or arrow keys.

Good game, very unique concept. Graphics were good. Moving with the mouse felt awkward, I would've have expected to use WASD or arrow keys.
Nice game, puzzles were challenging and the difficulty progression was good. Great atmosphere with calming music and nice graphics.
Nice concept and the graphics are really good. Some instructions would be good as it took me a while to figure out how to play. Jumping felt awkward. Noticed a couple of bugs: followers walked through the walls sometimes; and I got stuck a few times inbetween a block I placed too close to a wall and was unable to jump which meant I had to restart, also if I tried walking whilst stuck the trees in foreground would still keep moving.
Great graphics and audio is pretty good is well. The idea is very good and unique but the execution could definitely be improved upon. There's no variation to the level or difficulty progression. You could have the fruit spawn in different places around the level and maybe add other obstacles.
Nice game, the graphics and animation are awesome. Gameplay was OK, trying to keep an eye on the spotlight and the arrow keys was awkward. Maybe it would have been better to have the arrows appear above the character's head.
Graphics and UI were good, but the game definitely needs more of an explanation for those who don't know Conway's Game of Life.
Cute game! Level design was really good and I liked the combination of tower defense and virtual pet. Could do with being a little more challenging, the enemies didn't pose much of a threat, only time my pet lost health was when I forgot to feed it. Audio was great and having a sound effect to communicate your pet was taking damage was a nice touch. The pixel art was fantastic!
Great game! Great sense of humour and the graphics were charming in their own way. Good job on making different mini-games in such a short amount of time.
I think there may be a problem with playing this game on smaller resolutions as all I'm seeing is this: ud_ss.png The UI is cut off (same on the main menu as well). This is on a 1600x900 screen.
Nice game, I liked the combination of platformer and tower defense. Pixel art is good. Gameplay was good at first but it quickly got to the point where I could just sit back and let the turrets handle all the enemies. I think maybe the turrets should be able to take damage or something so they don't just stay forever, that way you can't just fill the level up with them. Music and sound effects were good.
Nice game, graphics are great and UI was clear and easy to understand. Gameplay was fun at first but got a little repetitive after a while. Difficulty didn't feel that challenging, I didn't feel like I was going to run out of resources as I could always just sacrifice someone if I was getting low which only happened a few times. Background music was good and fit the mood but got repetitive.
Simple game but nicely executed. Controls felt good. I liked that the enemies followed the player and were a good difficulty. Graphics and audio could be better. Level could have been better designed, it was fairly easy to just run past the smaller enemies and head straight into the boss battle.
Cool game but could have done with better instructions. It would have been nice if your starting items were already in the quick bar at the start. I figured I had to go out hunting for more resources but it took a while for me to find them, I stumbled upon them by accidently shooting a crate. The journal font was a little hard to read. I liked that there were different types of zombies with different attacks but I feel like they should still move around even when you're not outside. The movement controls and shooting were good. Inventory system was excellent considering the timeframe this was made in.
Nice idea but execution could be better. Gathering the materials needed was very difficult. The cannister fills very slowly and you only get one plank out of each tree when you need 40 to make a roof. Having an icon appear when the generator was running low was a nice touch.
The art style looks great. Audio sounds good. Took me a few tries before I understood how the game worked (I was trying to move the character). The random generation was great, but there was a couple of times where the character died as soon as the game started.
Nice game, audio was great. I didn't find the boombox that useful. The guests would walk into the walls and just stay there walking on the spot which made them easier targets. Also I'm not sure what the bars above the guests heads when they're dancing were supposed to represent?
Awesome game! Puzzle/level design was fantastic and unique. Graphics were cute. Music felt a little repetitive.
Good game. Graphics looked awesome and audio was good. Movement felt awkward, I feel like the ship should move forward the way it's pointing. Difficulty progression was good, but I think enemies should not be able to respawn too close to the player's ship. I often got killed by a group of enemies suddenly spawning all around me all at once.
Fun game! Really loved the music. As said before and auto-shoot would be good as my hand got tired of clicking after a while. I liked the exploding barrels.
The art is awesome as always and I loved the parallax backgrounds. The jumping was very good, I liked how it pushed forward instead of just jumping up. It would have been good if you included the ability to double jump in the instructions. The level design was great, everything was placed perfectly to give a challenging game. I noticed a bug where if you get stuck behind a box you get teleported to the other side of the screen. Overall, great game!
@smallboss If you have any audio in your game that is made by a 3rd party or made before the jam, you need to opt-out of that category, regardless of whether the audio is royalty or copyright free or if you have other original audio in your game (same also goes for graphics). So yes, you should've opted-out of Audio. The rules are here: http://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/rules
Anyway, congrats on the rest of your results!
Great game! Interesting concept and fun to play. My only criticism is the sound effects didn't really seem to fit the mood of the game.
Amazing story and dialogue, you absolutely nailed the mood!
I'm wondering if I missed something here cause I actually found the game easier the more modules I had. The modules protected me from the asteroids. Once I had enough I just sat in one place spinning round in a circle while constantly shooting bullets, using the modules as a shield. I only moved to get some more modules.
The music is really good but I don't feel like it fits the game. The art is OK. The battle system seemed interesting but wasn't particularly challenging, 90% of the time I just clicked 'Fire bow' and won instantly.
Got this error just after the splash screen error.png
Sometimes when you start a new game some parts of the game are invisible, like you can only see the player or you can't see any clouds.
Nice game! I noticed that it's possible for the player to turn on a crystal tower even if there's a wall in the way (I'm guessing that's not supposed to happen).
I love mazes so I had a lot of fun playing this! Gameplay is simple and well-executed. Graphics and audio could be a bit better and the perspective felt a little awkward at times. Overall a really nice game :)
Nice concept, but the game could be pretty frustrating at times. In the 2nd level the character can only jump just high enough to get on the first platform and it took me a few tries to get up there. The controls felt pretty awkward, like how you had to keep Shift pressed to hold the turtle. But the idea for game is pretty unique and the sound was good.
I didn't get what the story was, but good effort on the game and the art :)
The movement was really weird and jerky, sometimes the character would start off moving in the wrong direction and then correct itself. Interacting with the characters was a little hit or miss. The graphics were nice and it's a good concept.
Nice game, the graphics and music are good. Using the W/S keys for zooming in and out felt a bit strange. I really liked the concept.
Really nice game. It felt a little slow at points while waiting for resources and it could do with some sound. The graphics are cute and the tutorial is very well done. Good work :)
Nice game, graphics and audio were good. Picking up the picture was kind of awkward, it took me a few tries before the player picked it up.
Cool game, liked the graphics and the audio. Gameplay was a little too simple but overall nice entry.
Nice concept but gameplay needs some polish. Presents fall too fast and you can get stuck easily.
Found a couple of bugs. I dropped one of the sofas outside and couldn't pick it up again. Then I got stuck on the second floor, couldn't go up or down the stairs. Other than that its a good game.
Nice game, art is pretty good. Ending was a surprise.
Cool game! Really liked the puzzles. Graphics and audio were great too!
The graphics and audio are awesome! The game itself is kinda confusing though, not clear what the rules are.
Cool game, really liked the graphics and audio.
Interesting game though it's kinda difficult. Graphics are really good.
Fun game. I played it properly at first but after a while I just tried to set everything on fire :P
Really fun game! Audio is good, graphics a bit simple though.
Really nice graphics but the game was a bit difficult.
Graphics were really good. Dialogue felt awkward and there wasn't much to the story. I agree with what jcmonkey and others have said about being told that its "not that kind of story".
Really good graphics and audio, overall a good game.
Nice game but really difficult. Audio and graphics were good.
Weird game, nice graphics, kinda difficult though.
Good game, mouse sensitivity felt a bit too high though.
Not much to the game, but the graphics and audio were good.
Nice game, good graphics and audio. It felt weird having four different attack buttons for each direction. It was fairly easy to win as you could just run away until there was one enemy left and just kill them.
Fairly simple yet fun game. Graphics could be a little better.
Nice graphics. Game is a bit buggy though, had customers getting stuck in stall doors and the game window wouldn't close when I clicked on 'x', had to press Escape to exit.
Cool concept and nice graphics. The drag and drop was a bit awkward and I could only figure out the dragonslayer and magician.
Nice idea, but I had trouble clicking on the bed and TV, and I couldn't get the brother to leave.
Awesome game! I love how the doors work and it really makes you think about your next move. The room getting bigger every time you find the right door is really cool. Some sound would be nice but otherwise this game is perfect.
Really nice game and unique concept! Graphics were good and the poop was a nice touch.
Nice game and really cool concept! The graphics were good. The subtitles timing issue was kinda annoying. Nice twist at the end though.
Really cool game! The puzzles had a good amount of difficulty and I found the hints for the word puzzle just fine. Graphics could be better but otherwise an enjoyable game.
Really cool concept, I couldn't figure out how to open the door upstairs so I didn't get far but I liked reading the notes people had left. I somehow accidentally made a note floating in mid-air.
@Zeriver I saw that note, why would you do something like that? xD
Good game, music and art were great. It was difficult trying to control the conveyor belts but still fun :)
Really enjoyed this game, the art and audio is great and controls work great. I thought the difficulty was perfect, the beam might seem easy to outrun at first, but as you get deeper the harder it gets with all the rocks to dig through and the beam rapidly catches up with you. You can still just outrun it but you have to be selective about which artifacts to pick up and which path to take. Overall I thought this was a nice and challenging game.
Cool game, I liked the stealth aspect and using the terminals. I liked the guards' design with the hats falling off when they die :) The shooting controls were a little off and I couldn't figure out how to hack the terminals, but overall a good game.
Fun game, I liked the humour and the simple art didn't bother me that much.
This is a really awesome game! I loved the art style and the greek mythology theme. The music was pretty good as well. I found the combat a little difficult and ended up using the cheat. I liked the puzzles and traps too, overall this is a great game.
This was a really good concept and the art and audio is great, but I found it difficult to get into the game. The tutorial is kind of an information overload.
Cool concept, the graphics and audio were really good. Gameplay was great and controls were easy.
Very fun to start off with but got repetitive fairly quickly.
Nice game, I liked the humour (especially the bit where he hoped the aliens couldn't read minds) and there were no spelling or grammatical errors.
My only complaints are that the font was a little bland and the game was too quiet, could've done with some background music.

Really great concept! The game itself could be executed a little better though. Sometimes the game would select a different track to what you clicked on. The second level felt a bit too much difficult than the first. The graphics and audio is really good. It was also kinda funny to just make the cart fly off the tracks. Good job!

Nice idea and great art, but as others have said, not challenging enough. You could maybe have some of the enemies not move in a straight line, or having some that need more than 1 hit to kill. Audio was good but the shooting SFX got a bit grating over time.

Nice game, definitely fits the theme well. The talking audio was good but felt a bit out of place as the rest of the game was silent. Definitely needed more feedback on the mini-games, especially the work one. The abrupt "Congratulations" at the end was pretty funny.
