Super excellent. I find this work very inspiring. It's simple and well matched to the theme of the jam.

Full of bugs, but otherwise a really great game. Good job, you should be proud.
Aside from the part where I got glitchstuck staring at my two opponents... dope! The controls are a little awkward , but such things are to be expected. I liked the graphics and overall feel of the game. Keep up the good work!
In terms of ease of use, I would prefer to use the mouse instead of the 'j' key.
I was not successful in finding the bug again where the screen got stuck on the enemies...
However, I found one pair of bugs that is easy to reproduce: if I jump at the top of the screen and hold down before landing, I teleport to the bottom. Similarly if I jump at the bottom and hold up before landing I teleport to the top.
Bugs happen... don't beat yourself up. These aren't really game-breaking, aside from the one freeze - which might have been game-maker's fault anyway.
Super awesome overall. The Pixel art came out looking nice and the game was fun to play. Also very dope pickups.
The graphics and retro feel was really cool. I could imagine this built out into a Metroid-style game or possibly a 'run and gun'. Too bad the theme didn't shine through... very nice work overall.
Awesome work. I found the game worthy of my two minutes. My favorite parts were the pictures on the walls. Clear signs of a doting parent. The shader for the blob was also nice. I like his hair too.
It kind of feels like you made a circle fit in a square hole... But you get an extra point, because I'm super down with goblins.
Nice Work overall.
Great Job! This could be developed into something very cool I bet.
Really decent work you put into this. I played it several times and got really into it. The music is nice, and overall I wish I made a game as cool as this one.
Thank you so much to everyone who participated in this year's jam. It's really great to share in a community of like-minded individuals. I'll make improvements based on your feedback for a future itch.io release.
Nobody complained about this, but I'm sorry it didn't run in the browser.
My initial (browser) release completely fell apart due to poor testing on my part, but I managed to get the project to work as a standalone in the last hour or so.... I ended up submitting with 2 minutes left on the clock!
Nice job on this! It looks very polished and nice.
I'll say the one thing that bothered me was my dude would go right through hearts sometimes without collecting them - it seems like the collision system is misbehaving when the hamster is going fast.
Super excellent. I dig this very much. Quality through and through.
Interesting game. Nice work overall. You should give yourselves a pat on the back.
Lol, my game also has a hamster wheel.
Nice rotoscope style animation! Yours is my favorite game so far.
Funny coincidence: Prior to deciding on my own concept, I had debated making a game almost identical to this one... That is, a game based on leveling up a hamster (with a menu system).
Essentially the only difference in my mind, was that the hamster would earn sponsorships from spoof companies (bubbly cola, speedy beans) to pay for upgrades; also, that there would be a little square dedicated to displaying the hamster's current facial expression (varying levels of intensity).
Very unique and interesting. I quite enjoyed this.
Some of these comments have me laughing real good.
I gotta say, those were some nice looking trash bags.
