Super fun and easy to pick up! Love the powerups and the various enemies. Well done!!
I loved the Pixel Art -- especially the understated background. But my *favorite* part was how gosh-darned *satisfying* it was to fire those missiles.
Great fun!
This was absolutely fantastic! I got demolished at the end which I hope was suppossed to happen and it's not that I am just a terrible defender of earth.
The gameplay was engaging and fun and the artwork was superb. I kept seeing little details that just added to the overall polish of the game, my favourite is ammo the indicator on the ship.
Fantastic implementation, hats off! Powerups, items, side ships, really well done. The difficulty is madness haha
Wow! incredible entry you guys! The graphics and gameplay were stunning! I had a lot of fun with this one, but unfortunately I died to the last wave.
Lovely little game, really liked the graphics
Very fun! I really liked the upgrades. I felt they were a bit unbalanced though but still fun. Audio was also excelent.
Fun game, I think it would feel a bit better without ammo/reloading on the guns though! The lasers + glowy bullets look really nice, too
This was just really fun and pretty and great. Incredible.
Solid take on the genre! The sounds are punchy, and the graphics are crisp.
Some parallax on the background stars would be a great touch.
Pretty difficult! I had a good time with it, the graphics were nice and gameplay was satisfying, very well polished!
That last wave is pretty brutal. Took me a while to figure out why my guns would stop shooting, then i saw the little bar on the ship. The turning got unresponsive at times as well. Overall pretty fun and great graphics.
Looks fantastic and controls well, only issue I had was I could fly out of screen (but I guess it was intended to push player to not wonder too far)
Very good graphics and retro feelings, it's a little bit hard to control but that's fun !
I loooove the special effects you put into this. For example, the trail the ship leaves behind is really cool. Not from the engines, but the screen wiping effect, whatever its called. There is definitely a difficulty spike once you get 4 of the upgrades. Very fun!
Awesome Game! I didn't see my gun overheat for a while and was confused as to why my gun seemingly randomly stopped working, making it bigger or pointing it out would really help! The game started to slow down on what I assume was the final round and earth instantly got destroyed! (my fault) I had tons of fun playing this!
Super awesome overall. The Pixel art came out looking nice and the game was fun to play. Also very dope pickups.
@zerocomms I'm hoping the only times the turning was unresponsive was when you were hit with the purple shots. Though we could (and should) have made it clearer, the purple shots were ion bullets that stun the target.
This game is great, but at week 4, you are almost guaranteed to die. This is a really cool game.
Good game with good pixelart
I love the art in this game! I think the game itself is a little bit difficult though. I would consider tuning down the difficulty and giving the player more power earlier. Overall good concept!
Love the artwork!
Very nice art and sound. The ship was a little hard to control but not too difficult to get used to. The difficulty curve is pretty crazy but that's fine.
The graphics and effects are stellar. Fun game!
Great looking game, and a satisfying shooter!
I found the controls a bit hard to use, mostly aiming and turning around. Aiming with the mouse might feel more natural, with keyboard just for movement.
The graphics looked good, and the sounds were nice. The theme was also well implemented
Gameplay got repetitive rather quickly though, and the turning was a bit finiky (kept over shooting).
Solid all around, great visuals in particular. Those purple enemies with the turning-you around (?) effect were pretty brutal. I also did not notice the charge bar on my own ship until my second play (I was even going to suggest that one should be added!)
I liked it a lot! I'm awful with WASD rotation controls -- maybe it'd be fun to try mouse-based control! I love the powerups that rotated around Earth.
Super fun! Really nice visual feedback and interesting powerups for the planet :)
Great game, loved the art style, the simple chunky pixel ships and glowey lasers are really well done. Having a cooldown meter for shooting and keeping the player from going offscreen could be good additions. A little way into the game having no cooldown on the gun probably would have been fine. Great work overall!
I love the art, but the controls are wonkey. My ship seems to spin around on its own randomly.
For some reason my playtrough was way too easy but the game feels and plays great!
Wow. I don't think the idea is novel by any means, but the graphics and gameplay has been the best i've seen so far. this is a really stellar entry, and i love it!
visual feedback, audio feedback, different enemy types, all make for some really awesome gameplay!
I really love the art.
My S and D keys didn't work on my end (only for unity web player, idk why), so I played with only right turns. I still managed to get 4 upgrades, but I died pretty quickly after that. I really enjoyed it! I like the upgrade system and having the enemies come in waves, it lets the player take a much needed breath. Overall very satisfying and fun!
Lots of content, and it is all polished. Really liked the powerups - choices added a lot of depth and even some replayability. The shipyard was my favorite - especially enjoyed the 'minigame' of trying to keep as much of my mini-fighters alive as I could.
The AI for both allies and enemies never seemed stupid, that is very impressive.
Art is beautiful and consistent across varied enemies and allies. Sound and effects are impactful, even if sounds do get a bit repetitive by the end.
The ship turn speed feels a bit too fast for proper aiming, but the game is forgiving enough its not much of an issue, especially when you unlock the autobots.

Overall it was an engaging and enjoyable experience.
