"Hey! I remember this from youtube!"
Really fun game to play. I love sound effects and music, set right mood.
The only downside is that i can't see where im going which makes lava extra deadly.

"Hey! I remember this from youtube!"
Really fun game to play. I love sound effects and music, set right mood.
The only downside is that i can't see where im going which makes lava extra deadly.
I like art-style, music sets right tone to the game. Overall it's really fun game, maybe could you some variety (killing zombies gets old) but boss fight was fun (i had to jump in right intervals to avoid projectiles, like in a rythm game :D ).
I really like music (plus sound effects) and art style. Concept is interesting and well executed. Sometimes i run into bugs like getting outside of level or inside walls but it's a still solid game overall.
Cool game, interesting gameplay. I like how you can just spam projectiles because you are shooting your own ship/body parts. Art style and music are really nice.
BTW: It's hard to survive 1 full minute :D
Creative idea, solid game. Well you can type "asd" "as" etc and still get ammo but i suppose if type that in google you will also get some results.
Wilhelm scream is a nice touch :D
It's a fun game, decent graphics, really good music and fine from mechanic standpoint (beside getting stuck sometimes).
Shield as a weapon? Well it goes with the theme.
BTW: i get this texture error http://i.imgur.com/Gx1H3gY.png
I watched bits of your stream so i know how it should look.
Whoaw, really neat game. Controls feel good, gameplay is fun, nice art style and whole experience is pleasant. Great game, shame there is no audio though.
Cool idea and great execute. You really have to plan how to "spawn" your clones and not blow yourself up in the process.
Pretty graphics and fitting music.
Game for android made in Eclipse, hah that's what i was looking for. I want to start making aps for smartphones and i like Eclipse and know Java on decent level, your code sure will be useful :)
If i may ask, where did you learn making aps for Android etc.
About your game, currently i'm not able to play it but i sure will in about 2 days :)
Great graphics and music set nice mood. Shame game is so short but it's a fun experience nonetheless. From gameplay standpoint game does not offer much but it's still enjoyable.
BTW: light supposed to scare off enemies but usually they were ingoring my flashlight and lamps
I hope you will work on this game so i can play full version.
So far i really like what i see, and i don't just mean art style (which is gorgeous).
Pretty fun game. I really like the idea and execution. The more squirrels you have the harder it gets but you need more minions to be able to defeat enemy, nice balance.
Oh wow, it's really ambitious game. Maybe a bit too ambitious for Ludum Dare, i can see a lot potential in this game, but in it's current state it's too buggy. I really hope you will continue developing Weathermage because this concept seems interesting. As it is now it is kinda playable but it doesn't offer much although i like this turn based combat system and how this world looks.
Really neat idea. At first it is a bit ambiguous what to do but player can quickly get grasp on the basic rules. I like the art style and "image language". It really is a good Ludum Dare entry and i hope more people will see it.
In my case the answer for aliens was coffee mug :D
Hah, "nice" audio :D Funny game, shame i suck at rhythm games :C
Hhaha really funny game, i'm glad i didn't miss it :D
BTW: Did you hire voice actors from Adventure Time? xd
Took me a moment to get how to "optimize" missles but when i got it, it was really fun to destroy enemy submarines.
BTW: that sound when enemy missle is approaching gets really annyoing after a while.
Pretty funny game and playable. I love that kind of puzzle games, reminds me of "This Is The Only Level". Art style is really nice to look at and goes well with the mood.
Really outstanding job!
Whoa i love this art style. Music is also exceptional.
From gameplay standpoint it's not too amazing but it gets you from point A to point B (literally). I really like this game in overall, good job guys.
Ha i really like this idea, food as weapon and game forces you to keep making new weapons from fallen enemies :D, potato grenade is just fun to use. i like graphics but sometimes you can't see enemy if you are in "horizontal tunnel/corridor".
Whoa, pure destructive experience :D
Everything is matching; music, graphics and gameplay. This game is really fun to play, just driving around and destroying everything (even buildings) >: D
Whoaw... just whoaw.
Decent game with interesting mechanic. Art and animations are definitely the strongest parts of this game. Would love to see full game :D
Hah, it's definitely not too easy, although i suck at rythm games :P
I like how you can lose one or two musicians but still fight off zombies.
Creative, your limbs are your ammunition, cool mechanic.
I completed whole game and some levels require some platforming and ability to plan ahead, smart level design. In overall it's really fun game and well executed.
BTW: music is pretty decent too
That would be a great game for Halloween :D
Cute, fun game, my strategy was to "camp" on the lowest level, jump over enemies and throw "ice drills". The fact you stick to the ceiling for a moment when you touch it was really helpful, don't know if that was intended effect or not but i'm glad it is in the game :)
Stomping is pretty hard to perform successfully.
I really like retro games like this, good job on recreating this style. Graphics are the strongest side on this game but gameplay is solid and entertaining, nice mechanics.
Nice puzzle game, interesting puzzles.
I liked music and graphics. Using guitar as a weapon? Idea seems fine but all your guitar do is shooting projectiles, you could add some special abilities, like playing right tune to kill specific type of enemy or playing something to make temporary shield around you or boost your speed. There are many possibilities.
Anyway i enjoyed your game and i hope i will see more expanded game :)
Simplistic but fun, nice adio and graphics.
What a pleasant game (at least first level, when i got to the second level... damn i didn't expect such transition :D )
I like art style and Daft Punk remixes are great and fit to the game. Destructible environment is a nice touch.
Buggy thing: When i jump and hit ceiling i stick to this instead of falling down. And when i try jumping over some block that i'm touching i just jump vertically.
Overall it's a ok game, definitely not finished yet. Anyway throwing money at you eniemies sounds funny and it works fine (although when i press E i don't generate any money). Movement feels kind wanky, it's like walking on the ice. There is much to do but i can see some potential.
As i understand it's a demo version.
Really creative, i like how you have to chase your brain and screen starts to rotate :D
Great game.
Very unconventional idea :D
Great gameplay, graphics and music. Pretty funny game.
Whoa, destructible environment! Now that's a big plus for the game. I also like how your head exploads. Really fun game overall, nice music and graphics.
About weapon... well from what i know it could be shooting anything.
I really enjoyed playing this game. From mechanic standpoint it's too much based on luck but you still have to make smart decisions to win. I really like art and music.
Freezing breath as an idea seems cool, graphics and sound effects are also decent, but one thing is downside of this game; controls. Sometimes its hard to just jump over block (if you are touching obstacle you just jump vertically). You could polish movements, it's the most important part of the platformer after all.
Aside that i enjoyed your game and i hope to see more games from you in the future.
The best Ludum Dare 32 entry i have seen so far! I really like graphics, funny sounds effects and great twist with a moral :) I also like small things like trying to go to the left at the beginning. Sweet, funny, short game. Really great work!
Whoaw great mechanic and really fun gameplay. Levels are well designed.
I hope you will expand this game, it was really enjoyable to play and i would love to play more. Definitely one of the best game i've played so far.
Pretty cool music and graphics. But from gameplay standpoint movement seems a bit wanky, there is small delay with jumping (i downloaded Windows version). Anyway pretty fun game to play.
Engaging story and generally a solid game. Gameplay isn't too interesting but story keeps you playing. To be honest i expected some twist, for example mysterious man was just an "agent" working for other bank and he was just using you, but i liked your version too.
BTW: I like those The IT Crowd references :D
Pretty sweet little game, minimalistic oldschool :)
Might a bit too easy and short. The best tactic for me was going for archers and healing when i killed all enemies expect one.
Neat game, simplistic but playable.
Agents OP, two-three agents and you are pretty much set for the win :D
I hope you will expand on this idea, i would like to see game telling us about events after X-COM, and you have pretty decent start to make such game.
Really fun game and interesting idea. But the mood of the game is what makes this game special. I like this unique art and delicate ambient.
"(..) too much love will kill them" - now that words to live by :) i like to keep my love level at 50% :D
Clever idea with getting ammo literally from your enemies.
It's a damn good game.
Shame you have to start from the beginning when you screw up, game could use some checkpoints. Also looking for remaining angry people might be annoying.
Despite that i really enjoyed this game, clever idea, good execution and interesting gameplay.
Pretty nice game, maybe a bit too easy though.
Funny and cool game. I especially like humor and mood. I enjoyed placing furniture so later i can just watch the chaos :)
Really nice atmosphere for such small game, i genuinely felt the pressure and was constantly looking for evil teddy bear. Kinda reminds me of Five Nights at Freddy's. Really fun gameplay and nice mechanics. Game could use some audio and maybe better graphics, but i understand time limitation. I hope you will expand on this idea because this game definitely has potential.
24 hours?!? What is this? Ludum Dare super-compo? :D
Anyway it's a neat concept and well executed. This game could use some checkpoints though, it may be annoying to repeat whole level just because of one mistake.
Oh, and i really like art too. Hope to see finished game soon.
On of the best game i have played so far. Really funny idea and engaging gameplay :D
Completed easy and hard difficulties. The best strategy for me was waiting at the beggining and not shooting my bald, naked ammunition. Just taking on the chin all damage then heal and when i have enough humans, just spam enemy. I like how projectiles can hit each other in mid air. Really nice touch.
I would really like to play more. Are you going to expand this game?
I like the closer i am the louder music gets. And that sang at the end is really a great reward :)
I like how "your towers" eat weaker towers :D
You really have to manage and keep eye on everything in this game. It's unconventional approach to tower defence genre and i like it. Music and graphics are also very good.
Dem cats eat everything D:
Decent game with nice graphics. Shame there is no music, it would add to the experience. I like story, it's not too innovative but helps with immersion. From gameplay standpoint game is solid but could use some variety.
Awesome game, really entertaining gameplay and neat idea. I also like graphics. Cool game in overall.
I like how game forces you to manage your resources.
Whoa nice mechanic and decent execution. Smart level design.
I really like the mood, i don't know if it's because of music, graphics or story, maybe both. And that ending... pretty much the ideal way to end this game.
Surprisingly engaging gameplay! I was observing stock prices in tension and waiting for right moment to sell. Really nice idea and execution. Somehow minimalistic graphics and audio work for this game, set right tone.
BTW: yeah eclipse/java combo rules! ;D
Really fun game to play, from mechanic standpoint it's not too amazing but i like the idea. I enjoyed the soundtrack and art style. I can't wait to play full version.
BTW: It's a pleasure meet fellow ONI fan :)
So your weapon is manipulation? Pretty clever.
It's a neat tower defense game, maybe too easy.
Also sometimes citizens get stuck on building.
Creative idea and decent execution.
Solid game with nice mechanics. Shame it's so short but still entertaining experience.
Sweet, little, retro-like game. Fun, simplistic gameplay with nice graphics and audio.
Only complaint i have is that jumping seems odd.
I really like how our fallen adversaries look. On the floor with pizza covering their face!
Really funny game and well executed i also like that there are different levels.
Well done m8, well done.
Nice gameplay i although it would be better to move "cubes" with keyboard instead of dragging them with mouse. I enjoyed the mood (because of minimalistic, pretty graphics and fitting audio). Really solid game in overall.
About the camera, it might be not intuitive for all people to use right click to move camera, some instructions would be nice.
Pretty fun game, simplistic but enjoyable, sooner or later you are doomed to lose but until that point it will be a wild ride :)
Neat idea and execution.
Interesting puzzle game and smart level design. You can definitely do a lot with this game, adding new elements, enemies etc. Graphic is ok, music is really fitting and gives the whole game right mood.
Well you completely abandoned theme but you still gave us one fine game :)
Pretty nice game, enjoyable to play. Shame there is only one level but still, sometimes your ally shots down enemy ships like crazy and sometimes he is goofing around so unpredictable behavior of your ally (which is your only weapon) makes every game a bit different.
Pretty sweet game (see what i did there?). Nice music choice, it sets the right tone to the game. From gameplay standpoint it's fine but game could be a bit longer and more challenging, nonetheless it was fun to play.
Really great game and fun to play. I enjoyed the art style and level design. Nice music and mood. I hope you will expand this game because i would like to play more.
Great atmosphere, i really felt the pressure. Nice approach on the theme, great graphics, audio and definitely the best mood in all Ludum Dare games i've played so far.
Great job!
I like switching mechanic, it's pretty fun and effective if player will get use to it. Gameplay is fine but could use some variety. In Overall i enjoyed the game :D
It's clever how you lern new insults from your enemy. Pretty fun idea and music is decent too.
Really fun game with great mood. I like the gameplay mechanics, player has to plan ahead to win (which is tricky), it's almost a puzzle game. Pretty graphics and nice audio.
A nice variation of Tetris. At the beginning rules were a bit ambiguous but player can quickly get them. Pretty fun game to play with ok graphics and decent audio.
At first it was kinda hard to get grasp on game mechanics, but when you get it, it's quite fun to play. I like art and your innovative approach.
BTW: sometimes hit boxes are a bit buggy.
Solid game with engaging gameplay. Earth+ is really hard and so far was unsuccessful in completing it but maybe later :)
Shame you can't control your missles, maybe you could make this a bit more multitasking game by adding new options and launching missles with your mouse... but that's just my suggestion.
Anyway, pretty fun game to play, nice graphics and audio.
Pretty fun, simple game. Nice for your first LD.
Those are cooks? I thought they are guitar-head people :D
Pretty fun game to play with a great soundtrack. And those are some sick dance moves dude!
Hah, great game with climatic graphics and visual effects plus nice audio. I really like the mood, reminds of Oddworld Abe's Oddysee. Really fun game to play, well done.
Pretty neat game mechanic and smart level design. Some levels could use checkpoints (it might get irritating, to reapeat whole level because of small mistake). Anyway, really fun game to play.
Game is really good and fun to play but the fact the game doesn't grab your mouse pointer is really annoying. It's hard to get use to it and makes gun-jumps way more harder. But still i liked this game very much. I like how player is forced to go on killing spree (20 seconds to kill enemy), and it's nice how bullets are bouncing after being shot. Really solid first entry, you can be proud of yourself! :)
I like the concept and gameplay is pretty cool too.
Fun idea :)
At first it was difficult for me to get used to movement but when i got it, it was really rewarding.
Nice idea even better execution.
Very simple but very fun to play. Really clever idea.
@stoarch @w1n5t0n @minnouu @AlfalfaStudios @Vulkanmannen @marccspro @manabreak @MJaawa @Mimus @ddalacu @texdata @Andrew Quartermain Thank you very much!
@plams Yep, that's the end :) And thank you very much!
@Franklin's Ghost Yeah i was afraid of that, there might be some performance issues. It's not a well optimized game, sry about that.
@scorched yeah, i guess i could make it a bit more clear, i hope it wasn't too irritating
@cgmorton First of all thank you much for such detailed feedback.
Art - well i don't have any experience with pixel art and i didn't have much time to work on better graphics, sry about that i will definitely improve my art skill for next games.
Bug report: yep, i am aware about not reseting wall position, i will fix that soon. Until then you can run into wall to reset it's position (and you will also respawn at the checkpoint)
About bringing balls (hehehe), that is also something what i should take care of and i will try to fix it (no promises on that one though).
Keyboard thing: sry about that, i wasn't really thinking that it could be so annoying. In future i will give option to play with arrows or WSAD.
I want to thank you all for taking your time to play my game and give me feedback. You guys rock.
It's my first LD and i didn't expect it to be so fun and exciting.
@nivalis thx m8
@Mixer hmmm, maybe try closing browser and other processes. Sometimes it does run slowsly for me when i have open Chrome with 10+ pages. Anyway it's my fault for not optimizing game, sry about that.
@Frewz @bentfglasstube Thanks!
@Incredible Ape I wasn't able to check if it's working for OS X i added OS X version because it should work in theory but apparently it doesn't. Sry i already removed link for OS X version.
@Pixel Heart Could you describe what happpens exactly?
@asobi tech @TeamCalcium @Junber @TheMeorch Geckoo1337 Thank you very much
@TeamSpatch Hmm, so game freezes in main menu? When you mouse over one of options? Thanks for feedback i will look into that.
@jprogman Thank you for such detailed feedback, and all your effort for trying to play the game. I am aware of performance issues, the easiest way to solve that is to make smaller levels and not loading whole map at the same time. About clicking problem; i didn't know about that and usually it works fine for me but i will try to deal with this bug as well. Thank you very much again for your help :)
Pretty nice little game, charming in a way. i really like audio.
Fun to play, but really hard.
Projectiles should move slower, that would make game easier.
Pretty nice, simplistic game.
Really cool idea and execution. It's like a zen experience with this music :D
The best strategy for me was building a tunnel to the opponent's sandwich and focusing on one ant that was the closest to the goal.
Later levels required more creativity though.
It's a good concept to expand on but game in this stage is also really fun to play. Well done!
Hahahah i find this idea hilarious, now that's an unconventional weapon :D That little backstory in the main menu really adds to the game :)
Game could use some variety and music could be more goofy/funny in my opinion. But still it's fun to play this game.
Top score around 60, i just go to the top of the screen and spam... rainbows :D
Pretty fun game, i really like how you can switch weapons depending on the situation (although shovel seems to be the worst and i almost never used it). I also appreciate references and all bunny dialogs :D
Music also makes this slaughter much more enjoyable >:D
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED? https://i.imgur.com/Yj1EMWR.png
Solid game, shame it's so short.
The puns are real!
Cool idea and great execute. You really have to plan how to "spawn" your clones and not blow yourself up in the process.
Pretty graphics and fitting music.
BTW i noticed game crashes after few deaths
Crap, wrong page, sry about that, i will comment your game in a moment :P
I really like the backstory, it really adds to the experience. Game is pretty well done and engaging. At the beginning player will die A LOT. But getting to the next stage is really rewarding. Also i never used wrecking ball effectively, it's hard to focus on that in this bullet hell :D although it seems like a cool mechanic.
Yeah, music might get annoying after looping too many times :P
Shooting toasts never felt sooo good :)
I really like this shooting effect and how you can perform "air-strikes"
Pretty fun game to play, but once you get all upgrades you can just spam spacebar and be pretty much unbeatable. Anyway i really enjoyed this game, nice gameplay with ok graphics and decent audio.
Well... that's an unconventional idea.
After reading rules im still not sure if i really get it.
Well but i listened to song so at least i rated this.
Hahaha nice idea, i really enjoyed playing your game. Lack of any background music actually helps with building tension. Simplistic but elegant graphics. Hmm maybe with some changes it could be a great mobile game?
Pretty interesting game, you really have to plan ahead to catch sub marine with three tentacles. I also liked the mood, although you are the monster (who is grabbing and devouring other creature), game has kinda "chill out" feel to it, maybe partially because of music. BTW i think it could be a great mobile game.
Whoaw nice game i really like double(triple?) jumping and flying mechanics, it just feels good to move in your game. With some more polishing and new content i think it could be real, fully developed game.
My god, it's soo good. Graphics audio and mood are over the top! With these mad skills you should work in game industry (if you aren't already). Hah, i will check your earlier entires (when i get time) for sure.
A lot of strategy is involved for such a simple (at first glance) game.
Engaging text adventure, the story is interesting and i like in how many directions it can go. I really enjoyed this game.
Well that was an interesting idea. I don't know what to think but i think i enjoyed this "game"
Whoaw, that was deep. Nice approach to the theme. I liked art style and music is setting right mood.
Nice hybrid between adventure game and action game, i really liked graphics and how smooth is gameplay. Good job!
Simplistic game with nice concept but at the current state it can't hold player's attention for more than few minutes. But with some improvements and new game mechanics i could see this as s really fun to play mobile game.
Creepy mood,i like this
Neat game for smartphones, shame mine is broken at the moment. Anyway mechanics are pretty simplistic but kinda addicting, fun game to jump in when you have 5-10 free minutes (which is ideal for mobile games).
Pretty solid game although i had to play in window mode otherwise i couldn't start the game (i was stuck in main menu). I always like starship troopers related content so i might be a bit biased rating this game, anyway good job
The best LD entry i have played so far! Interesting approach to the theme, unconventional and challanging gameplay. Changing music and background stage (cool effect by the way) when hero arrives was really neat. Great game!
Polished and fun to play game. At first biting mechanics were not intuitive, but when i got grasp on it, playing Munchster was really entertaining, solid game on all aspects.
Whoaw amazing game as always, i love the combo fighting system. Graphics + animations are beautiful, mood is also pretty good.
Well i tried to make use of some skills i've learned from your tutorials, but it's nothing compared to yours.
Challenging game, you really need good reflex to avoid bombs. Fun game to play.
Fun game, requires quick reflexes. It's really challanging to get all stars and coins. Entertaining gameplay with nice audio and graphics.
I like this old horror movies atmosphere, great choice of music.
Solid game, requires quick thinking. I like how many different traps are in your game, it makes game less repetitive. Sometimes it's hard to click on traps but other than that i don't have any complains.
It's one good looking (and sounding game)! I like this robotic voice and everything is just so perfectly matching! I mean art style and lightning effects plus this sick beat :D
It is a challenging game and i'm gonna play it more when i get time.
Impressive, mood is definitely the strongest side of this game, also great sound effects building tension.
Yeah, the cube influence is real :)
Interesting game, i like puzzle games so it was pretty entertaining for me. Shame you didn't have more time to work on your game, there is potential in it. Anyway, pretty good results for 20 hours work.
BTW like last time, you made a bit less conventional game :)
Hah nice game with pretty graphics, i think it could be a fun mobile game.
Really solid entry, i like this retro style. It's nice that you give player options to just watch village grow, i found myself enjoying observing how people just keep building new stuff.
Nice approach to the theme. Game mechanic is neat and game is just long enough.
Hah neat game, i like art style - simple but pleasant to eyes, music is also nice. Beating game at first try is tricky but when you get grasp on things you pretty much know what you have to do, it just takes some time ;)
Ha fun game, art style and audio really match. It really gets tricky to progress but it also is rewarding.
Even though you don't like the theme you pretty much nailed it :D
Fun game to play with a simple goal and nice audio + graphics.
Fun game to play, nice audio and graphics. I like how there are multiple endings, actually i would like to see continuation of the story, did our protagonist find the cure, or what caused his "condition", next levels could involve more than running and hiding. I am getting ahead of myself, pretty nice and polished game especially for 72 hours, well done.
Thank you very much for feedback everyone!
About red wall/laser, you have to change your forms to escape it. In skeleton you run faster so use this form, but when you see a obstacle, change to ghost for a moment and when you get past it change back to skeleton.
If you don't have much life left after passing ghost detectors, you can possess civilian and regenerate health.
After reading descriptions i was expecting something like QWOP monster edition :)
Anyway game was pretty entertaining to play, it actually requires good reflexes and ability to quickly make decisions (quickly going forward, destroying building -quick break to chomp helicopter, continue destroying building and now chomp any slow pokes who didn't run fast enough).
I like this light / more humorous approach on the theme, well done!
I didn't manage to complete the whole game but it was pretty entertaining nonetheless. With checkpoints this game would be much easier and approachable for player.
Anyway, it's a pretty neat especially for your first game, congratz!
Ha, pretty interesting concept and neat execution. Shame you didn't have time to make more "levels". I would love to see this game fleshed out with more fairy tales and more complex in game mechanics. Really fun game with neat art style.
Shame you didn't expand this concept but playing this like arena game is also entertaining.
Whoaw, one hour Ludum Dare, now that's hardcore :)
Interesting idea and good job with narration
When i got to the village i lost only one child, so in process of avenging my child i lost my two other children. I guess game created for me a bit different story with a bit different moral.
Voice acting really adds to the experience :P
Whoaw great game, i like art style and audio sets the right mood. It feels really good to jump and run on roofs in the night above guards.
Nice idea but execution could use some more work. Don't get me wrong, i enjoyed the gameplay but it gets repetitive after a while. I also liked art style and audio sets the right mood (annoying office sounds!! :D )
That was clever :P
Whoaw, cool game, reminds me of Gods will be watching (takes place in future and similiar art style). I really like this setting, hope you will continue working on this game and i mean something like fully developed game which might be on steam someday, because i see huge potential here.
Hahaha, you nailed the theme!
I like graphics and humor, but gameplay might be a bit repetitive after a while.
Yeah it's definitely a game that i could see on mobile devices. It's pretty fun to play and different from typical logic games. Gameplay is entertaining and difficulty curve is just right.
That's brilliant! Really good job with coming up with this idea and execution is also pretty neat.
BTW i uploaded new build for OSX of my game, hopefully this time everything will work fine
Nice logic game, with clear and simple rules. Gets kinda repetitive after while but still gameplay is entertaining. Could be fun mobile game
Cool multitasking game, really hard (especially when math parts comes in). Simplistic but very polished, i mean nice animation, great choice of colors and music.
My score http://i.imgur.com/xuoneNW.png
Sorry for my previous comment, i thought i was rating other entry.
Anyway your game is pretty good, impressive for 72 hours. I really liked running through map with mob chasing me around and when new lumberjack screamed before chasing me. Hah somehow it was really funny to me, kinda reminded me about benny hill :D
Beating final post is pretty hard but with enough patience it is possible.
Fun game with decent graphics and gameplay.
Neat game, could be a great starting point for something big. Game looks pretty and ambient music matches well.
Oh and i found the goal, you are supposed to get to the heaven and make coctail to gods :)
Srsly though, you can place tree trunks in space infinitely if they are close enough. Jumping between them might be tricky though
That's a great way to avoid drowning and to be honest it gave me a great amount of joy to keep getting higher in any way possible.

Fun game, it sure is an interesting experience
Fun game, i really like retro graphics and music vibe. Game is challanging but rewarding when you complete level. Pretty great entry.
Fun game with nice mechanic, rolling and crushing stuff was entertaining.
Nice, relaxing game. I liked graphics, simple but elegant, with matching music makes great mood.
Personally i would crank up a little difficulty to make player more engaged.
Neat game, nice variation of classic RPS game. I liked visual effects, look really similar to Heartstone's. Shame there is no music, it could add to the mood. Good job
Cool concept and exeution. I liked how you can hear music only when you are around radio, nice touch. Fun, innovative game with nice graphics.
Hahaha that was pretty good! Egg with beard really cracked me up (eh EH?)
Fun game, shame it's so short
Fun game, way harder than i thought. Interesting concept and good execution. Pretty neat audio.
My god, this is so great. You took the theme and made game mechanic aout of it. I mean it's brilliant how you controll your character and when you are attacked it REALLY puts you under pression. And as many before said, mood is also pretty amazing. Gr8 job m8!
Nice concept, it is fun but when game just goes back to main screen after playing for less than a minute it kinda is irritaiting (i mean it does not seem that i have been hit or anything). Putting that aside this arena is fun, maybe movement could be improved.
It impressive how advance combat can you make with just two button controll and it is still pretty playable. Good job
Pretty fun little game, it's kinda addicting.
My personal best is level 4, by the way game kinda loses tempo when you have to start over every time, maybe game could use some checkpint system?
Solid entry in every aspect
Hmm game stops responding after i hit play and character jumps on the leaf. Don't know why, tried several time and only once i was able to play your game (game didn't crash until timer ran out).
Windows 10
Clever use of two buttons controll, makes game fun to play. In overall really solid game and entertaining.
BTW: You can get in the center of the map before next wave and spam space to get rid of most of the enemies, maybe some cooldown could be useful?
I had to, im sorry

Interesting experience. I liked graphics and music, really matching together. Fun game.
Cool multitasking game, really hard (especially when math parts comes in). Simplistic but very polished, i mean nice animation, great choice of colors and music.
My score http://i.imgur.com/xuoneNW.png
Well it exactly shows what it supposed to, "desire for a garden to call our own & the cold reality of an apartment-based existence". I enjoyed playing your game, maybe there is not much to do but it is also somehow relaxing.
Really entertaining game. Challenging and rewarding.
Solid game and really nice use of the theme. After while it really gets tricky to avoid meteroids.
BTW: that's some smart 8 years old :)
Really originall mechanic and fun to play. It's also really hard, checkpoints could be useful. Nonetheless entertaining gameplay.
The best Flappy Bird-ish game i have ever played, way better than original. It's really innovative that you have three states and every state is a different mechanic in game. Also graphics are just stunning probably one of the best graphics in LD.
The only complaint i have is that sometimes bat spawns at the bottoms which means that there is no way of avoiding him in egg state.
It's a mini The Stanley Parable :D
I really enjoyed playing your game, voice acting is top notch! I played it 3 times so far and every ending was interesting, shame i can't skip "intro section" where i can't move and have to listen to S.A.A.A.M again.
Kawał dobrej roboty ;)
Whoaw, really polished entry, it's amazing what you managed to do in 72 hours. I like how you can interact with pretty much everything in the game, you can use desk to block enemy and buy you some time to get distance between you and monsters. Voice acting was also pretty neat. Really good entry in every aspect.
Huh interesting game mechanic and nice job with tutorial, quickly shows basic mechanic and in real game you kinda get grasp on new rules on the fly (like new "special" cards).
And as always, graphics are fantastic!
BTW so far my top score was 111 but im sure i will get better score later ;)
Once you get grasp on controlls it is pretty enjoyable game, my highscore is 42
Fun game, celver use of two buttons. Hah, and nice work with santa voice :D
Nice logic games with really smart level design.
Colors are a bit too bright and after a while my eyes kinda hurt. Other than that it was a really solid game.
Solid game, with some more balancing and polishing it could be a "steam game". It's a solid fundament for some big game.
Whoaw that was intense! Great concept and execution, game is keeping you constantly on the edge, every couple of seconds changing what door you controll, not really time to think, you have to take action immiediatly when you see a monster. Graphics are also of high quality. Good job!
My personal best is 11 survivors.
I liked how colorful this planet is, it's a nice change from usual grey dark enviroment. Gameplay is fun, i like how your abilities allow you to explore so different places. And music sets great mood.
BTW: you might have changed avatar but deep down you still belong to ONI xD
Haha nice one, making you play both sides and just when you were thinking that this is another hero marines story :D
Gameplay is entertaining and it's nice that playing as aliens is a bit different than playing marines.
Nice game, mechanics are intuitive.
Secret to reaching the end is to NEVER take teleports, i will gladly take damage over random teleportation that will take me back 2-3 rooms or event to the start.
I like retro vibe in this game, sounds and graphics match well together. In overall it's a fun game to play and kinda addicting.
Nice graphics, really well imitates old school game's looks. Gameplay is getting more and more fun the longer you play, i like how you can make "wall" when you turn aroud 180' and you your own body parts.
Really nice enty especially for first LD, congratz.
First of all thank you all for commenting and playing my game :)
@triello
Sure thing m8
@utoxin
Yeah, there is a small cooldown when activating/deactivating fighter drones
@MintArcade
Hmm i would like to expand this game and if i get some free time i will do so. Originally there was going to be much more, like beacons in Faster Than Light, where you can upgrade/build more drones or choose you next destination (and even more).
@nopogo
Hah, yeah that was originally in my plans but i didn't have enough time ;)
@crucknuk
Thanks, it was really a challange especially it was my first Unity game (not including Roll a Ball tutorial game xD)
@Xinelu
Yep, as soon as i will get some free time im going to work on this project.
@Polith Games @Linus123xbb
Thx :)
@Christian S. @andyman404 @Dokthar
Yeah sorry about that, i uploaded new builds. Hopefully this time they will work for you :D
@Rob_Haines
Thank you! Yeah, shooting off-screen is something i will have to fix someday. In overall i will have to change lots of things if i want to expand this game.
@Kazura
Thanks, i will crank up difficulty when i will work on this game later
@tribrain, @DesignerNap, @The Merge Conflicts @Hot Box Games @OrangeeZ
Thanks
@andyman404
Thank you for all your effort to play my game and feedback
@ChaosCult
Sorry about that i uploaded 7zip version, maybe it will help you run game
Whoaw pretty great game, i enjoy playing narrative games and this one was really fun to play (althought it is a bit too easy for my taste). Also cool graphics, nice retro vibe.
Whoaw, didn't expect that! Cool game with great visual effects and engaging gameplay. Good job!
Fun game, i loved visual effects, really elegant and stylish. Gameplay is also pretty nice.
Hah fun short game, reeaaly reminds me of Fist of the Northstar (just watch this clip xd) https://youtu.be/-_ZeD40Rg8A?t=39
Big improvement since your last Ludum Dare. I like how you improved flappy bird formula making it into multitasking game. Great graphics.
BTW: i noticed s small bug, when you die and game is restating, your character does not move forward. I had to manually restart game every time.
Simple but very fun mechanic, i liked camera zoom on bullet - cool effect.
I was reading everything in my head in "FilmCow" voice, it just felt right. Pretty fun game, i liked how you end rate was including pretty much everything you did, like consulting advisors every week
Creative use of two button controlls, although moving around is tricky to get used to. I like tower defense-ich games where you can move around and take more active role in game. Cool game with nice vibe!
Charming game, with funny intro. Gameplay was entertaining and music + graphics make playing game really fun.
Interesting idea, i like how (in the opposite of the rest of the LD games) it's in your best interest to NOT grow. Pretty neat game mechanic with magnet effect while falling down and trying not to touch anything.
Solid game in every aspect. It was way more fun than i expected!
I like sounds made by nutrient people and this goofy background music. Gameplay was also very fun, you really need to concentrate especially when you are getting older (neat use of growth theme by the way).
Oh my god, why was i laughing so hard? I probably should go see a doctor (but sure not to denstist). I mean that scream (when you are pullig out teeth is just so funny, without that game probably would be more disturbing). Great game and made in such short time? Whoaw man, just wow.
Neat game, i like story driven games and that one was fine, but story could be a bit more engaging. Anyway solid entry
Reminds me of Papers, Please
Pretty neat starting point for a great game, but for now it's just a prototype and not sure if made for LD or just using LD to gain some feedback ;)
Anyway as i said game has a great potential and art style is really fitting. Hope to see finished game someday.
Nice concept, i like how only other kind of animal hurts you, it's simple mechanic, but opens interesting options for level design and by the way levels are really fun and there is a lot of them (by LD standards). Overall really good game with fun gameplay and nice art + music
Really great game, every level was different and innovative. Graphics are nice and humor is also of high quality. Hmmm maybe with some more work it could be fun game for children?
Cool game, really impressive for a game made under 48 hours (you even made little intro + character customization). From gameplay standpoint it was solid, but before you find axe there is not much point in fighting enemies, you can just avoid them. BTW: that mechanic ala Super Hot with bullets almost stoping in place when you don't move is really awesome.
Wow cool looking game, are you going to fisinh your game, i really would like to play a game set in this esthetics.
Thank you all for notifying me about crashes. I apologize for fixing this bug so late. Hopefully now everything will work just fine for everybody. Because of this bug (and my lack of time lately) i have only 8 votes so now i really have to rate some more games... but first some sleep ;: )
Thank you all very much for feedback!
Song name is in the description, it's one track from Duelyst Soundtrack. Really awesome game with great soundtrack, check it out. Another dope song from this OST https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zr3P12P1_34
Polished and very innovative game. Art style is also nice. I like how you command many cavemen and every one can be a little bit different. It's fun to see how your tribe is getting stronger and gets controll of more and more area. With some more mechanics / game mods it could be a game that players can spends hours in.
Very cool idea and execution. House is pretty small and there isn't much puzzles but it's understandable due to time limitation. Anyway game is pretty fun to play and notes are really adding to the experience. Would be cool to see this idea expanded.
BTW i left one troll note next to the doors to basement. I hope it will make someone's playthrough a little bit spicy ;)
Nice graphic style, and gameplay is solid. Collision are a bit clunky but other than that i have no serious complains. Of course you could expand this game and add more weapons, more levels etc.
Neat idea and execution. I like how you can see on the ufo glass part blocks that you can grab. Shame that there isn't some sort of assist when you place blocks on pyramid, for example if you drop block close enough to some spot it gets pulled into right position. BTW lowering ufo and just crashing your pyramid is also pretty entertaining :)
Cool graphics, it really makes game stand out. Gameplay was okay, but once you researched something it would be nice to reread what particular item does (i mean you can do it on piece of paper but i don't think many people are going to do that). I like how player has to experiment to progress in game. Overall solid game.
Whoaw, really cool game, prbly the most fun game i played so far in LD36. Really nice concept and execution. Shame there isn't more "content", which is understandable after all it's game jam with time limitation. I would like to see you expand this game, adding rivals, more race mods and race tracks. Music and graphics have fun vibe and match game's light atmosphere. Really cool game.
My best time is 44.96 (i think the best strat is to lose one hourse, it's much easier to controll chariot with one hourse)
Well made game and visually stunning. Cool idea but there isn't much gameplay (that's not necessarily a negative, this kind of game also can be enjoyable, it's just more of a relaxing/ zen experience kind of game). Music is also of high quality. Overall cool game, really pretty looking.
Pretty polished game with a lot of levels, that's rare in Ludum Dare games. Gameplay is solid and every level presents a new kind of challenge. Art style and soundtrack go along pretty well giving a game nice atmosphere. Humor also adds to this game.
Hah nice intro and fun characters :D. I like overall atmosphere and light mood, very humorous game. Gameplay is solid but a bit clunky, could use some polishing. Still game is pretty fun to play and has it's charm.
Congratulations on your first LD, pretty neat game. Weapons could use some more balancing, for example there was no need to ever use spear, range weapons can deal damage from far and they deal even more damage. Would be cool if spear is better against enemies X, but for enemies Y it's better to use crossbow etc. Anyway solid game, especially for your first LD, good job!
Fun little game, i could see this as some sort of minigame or puzzle in adventure game. In easy mode there are too many symbols to fill i mean it's easy mode so completing it should be a bit faster and require less effort. Also nice use of theme. Overall solid game.
Neat game with nice mood. At the beginning i wasn't sure what to expect and i was on my toes for a long time, later i realised that there will be probably only puzzles in final room on each level (no monster or anything). Music sets nice tone and i don't think your game is lacking sound, "minimalistic" style and audio give, in this case, a great atmosphere. More gameplay mechanics could be nice, i mean i think i get what were you trying to do, a game where you explore sinister, ancient pyramids. And you captured that experience pretty good, but after few levels it gets repetitive. Anyway still pretty solid game with a bit uniqueness in it.
I like how "robot lady" explains basics mechanics at the beggining, perhaps she could say something to narrate situation from time to time, like when new wave starts or you are almost dead etc. I think that would add to the experience. Gameplay is satisfying and fighting robots is challenging. I noticed that if you are shooting enemies from too far, they don't get damaged. I know that's probably because players could exploit ai and shoot them from the corner of the map but it would be nice if there was some other fix for that exploit. Pretty solid entry, especially for first Ludum Dare, good job.
Fun game but after a while gets repetitive. Maybe more significant spike in difficulty could help make game more engaging. Still game is entartaining and fun to play, pixel art is decent and music fits well.
BTW: as @Traf d-Lo said before, there is a bug where spear launches from previous position. At first it was annoying but actually player can use this as advatage sometimes :D
From visual standpoint game is really good looking and music fits well. There could be some more gameplay mechanics though.
Ha, very clever idea for a game that can catch people's attention. Gameplay is solid and difficulty spike is well balanced. Shame there isn't more weapons. Anyway good job!
Pretty neat looling game. Game mechanics are fine but they should have capitalized on them by level design. Of course, as you said, you didn't have time for making levels which is understandable due to the time limitation. Would be interesting to see what could you do with these game mechanic if you got more time. BTW it was a nice touch with more realistc hearts :)
Very atmospheric game, from the first second mood is just overwhelming player. I really liked walking around this town and looking for green house. When i got too far into the woods and sounds effect / music changed i was really on my toes not knowing what to expect. Really cool game and pretty looking. Cars that drive around town add a lot to the atmosphere.
BTW: i found some floating trees above the ground and even one car was hovering above street. I just want to let you know that there are some minor bugs.
Pretty good clone of Plants vs Zombies. Entertaining gameplay that keeps player engaged. Game is very challenging and really keeps you occupied every second (except beggining but that's standard in tower-defense games). Game could use more sound effects and better graphics but that is matter of secondary importance.
One small thing, money bags could be more visible, they should catch player's attention. It's easy to just no notice them.
Very good looking game, art style is just beautiful. How did you achieve so nice visual effect? Anyway gameplay is fun, i like how you get new items / abilities after every run so every time you get further. Music sets light, fun mood and adds to the experience.
Interesting game with nice art style. It was fun to learn game's rules and understanding mechanics, after few turns player knows everything he needs to know. I only wish that choosing tiles you move one would had more impact, i felt like regardless of what tile i am on i get random a event from the same pool (ofc there are exception like portal and altar). Anyway pretty engaging and entertaining game!
Pretty interesting concpet, game forces player to look for solution on the internet and gives him a chance to learn something new. When you complete the puzzle it gives you more satisfaction than solving more generic/typical game puzzle. Controlls are a little bit clunky but that's not so important in this game. I also liked the noir style.
Well made game , i like destructible enviroment. Some kind of shader that makes bullet trail could be cool and would help to see projectiles. Game is fun to play, both players have to very quickly find right angle to hit opponent and actively avoid projectiles.
Gameplay is engaging but the lack of feedback really can be annoying, many times i lost and i wan't sure why. Other than that it's pretty fun experience and music + sounds effect add to the game. Simple graphics but consistent style.
Good looking game. As you said there isn't much gameplay but you learned new thing and that's the best thing about Ludum Dare. It's important to not get stuck in your comfort zone and try new things. If there was rating system i think you could easly get to 100 best graphics.
Really cool game, i love visual style and music fits perfectly and sets great mood. Gameplay concept is also interesting, maybe not completely fleshed out in your game, but i can imagine game where you just investigate crime scenes and try to figure out what happened, how it happened and why. Great game and idea overall, good job!
BTW: Could you please tell me how to achieve this visual effect? I would like to experiment with it.
Fun game. The best part was definitely music but gameplay was also okay, challenging levels that you can't just memorize (fire level). About controlls, first off key s just wins the level and i pressed that instinctively at the beggining before i read controlls. Let's say i was confused a bit :P Also having to press shift, q and space with my left hand was not very intuitive and comfortable. Other than that game is pretty cool and fun to play. I liked between level screen where you have kind of temple overview and game gives you a feeling of free choice what you want to explore next.
Interesting idea and i like how action takes place on a small planet. It's also nice that game explains itself, i mean there are instructions / to-do list next to the player when he starts the game. Unfortunately after you find the stick, games isn't so good at explaining what to do later. I knew that i had to find the generator and do something with it and monolith but before i could experiment and try new things my oxygen ran out and i had to start over, and maybe i even got futher each time but that was getting a bit frustrating. Other than that concept is pretty cool and that was very innovative approach to the theme.
Here are some bugs i ran into: Mouse isn't locked to the game screen and if someone is using two monitors then it might be a problem. You can jump before hitting the ground which basically means that you can fly around the planet (maybe that was intentional)
Cool concept and nice execution. Games keeps you occupied all the time and you don't even have time to get bored. Difficulty increases with each level and teaches player new mechanics so the game does not get repetitive. Art style is pretty good looking and music fits weel. Solid game overall.
That game is way more complex than i expected. All building are well balanced and player really has to think and plan ahead before building somethig.
At first i was a bit lost and wasn't sure what to do but after a while i got grasp on the game mechanics. I like graphics, shame there is no sound but that understandable due the time limitation. Good job!
Whoaw, one of the best entries in this LD edition i have seen so far. Very cool graphics and they were made in so short time, really impressive. I also like the characters, we don't know much about them but short dialogues give them enough personalities. At first i thougth that gameplay is going to be the low point of this game but i was wrong, mini-games were fun to play and really challenging if you wanted that angry man to give you more stars. Humour is also great, google ended memes and you are literally shooting movies. Pretty great game in overall, can't wait to see what you got for next LD.
Hahaha cool idea and neat execution. Player can quickly grasp the idea behind the game and enjoy playing. Levels are well designed presenting various challenges. I also like your choice of graphic style. Overall good game with very innovative gameplay mechanic.
Very clever use of theme, the idea of ninja elephant is really funny and music just fits great. It's really great that you push yourself with LD and learn new things and to be honest results are pretty good, i mean you got working game with a decent gameplay. I mean gameplay is kinda repetitive but still fun to play.
Nice art style and animations. Hitboxes are a bit off but other than that it's pretty solid game.
Ha pretty neat execution of the idea :D Our game really have a lot in common :)
Challenging and enjoyable gameplay with nice audio and graphics, fun game.
Cool particle effects and nice art style in general. Music fits in just great and sets nice retro game vibe. Gameplay is fun and get chaotic really quickly, so you have to be focused all the time if don't want to get killed.
Pretty innovative game, gameplay is fun but gets repetitive after while (i guess that's the point, to make player angry and feel powerless when those noisy neighbours just keep waking you up. In overall pretty decent game.
Whow great mood! I also like how you have AI controlled buddy who is essential to surviving (due to this innovative mechanic of healing when touching your buddy). Really well done and polished game. Good job!
The best game on LD37 i played so far. It's so polished and completed. I mean, with some more work (more levels, mechanics) you could launch on steam greenlight :D. Great job on recreating retro games vibe.
BTW Monogame on LD? That's rare, you really must have a lot of experience
Whoaw, this is really impressive for Ludum Dare game. I got hooked pretty quickly and i was really interested how things are going to end (i mean the whole clone stuff was obvious but other than that it could go either way). Nice graphics and animations. Hope to see continuation of this game someday.
Whoaw, that's high quality game, really impressive work for only two days. I like the main mechanic, it makes platforming a lot more engaging. Graphics and audio really match and both give nice retro game vibe. You even made a lot of levels with decent level desigs.
Dobra robota : )
Seems simplistic but very entertaining to play and engaging gameplay. Games feels really polished and randomly generated obstacles make game replayable. Graphics and audio are nice and setting nice mood. Overall pretty good game.
I gotta admit this game is cool. I mean u kill bats with bazooka over lava while spikes are falling on your head. I really enjoyed playing this game. Visual effects are pretty good, heat effect and burning bats are good looking. This game is like Spelunky meets 1001 spikes. Game might be a bit too difficult, but despite that it's fun to play. Good job!
PS i wonder how it would look if you had more time.
Really neat idea and execution. I like playing multitasking games and this one is pretty good. Game is well balanced at the beggining it's pretty easy and lets player get used to game mechanics and later it requires a lot of skill to complete level. I also enjoyed reading emails, they really add to the mood. Pretty good job in overall.
Whoaw, nice action-survival game. I really like how two worlds (past/future) are different in gameplay. Raptors are jumpy and super fast while cyborgs are more predictable but have ranged weapon. Art and audio go together well and give game a nice atmosphere. Also game feels pretty polished, nice menu and no bugs. Pretty good job in overall.
Cool idea and decently executed. It's neat to see other player flying around the map and struggling to get candy. Also great choice of music :D
Bonus points for Polandball :)
Pretty cool game mechanics and level design is pretty decent as well. Games feels polished and art style is consistent.
Whoaw, it's incredible that you made this game in 3 days! It's so polished, i mean you even have options, saves and all that stuff.
It's clever how you made survival zombie game where ammo is hard to come by even harder when your character always shoots at leat two bullets in different directions. Player really has to lure zombie in special positions to save some ammo. Pretty decent game in overall
Fun bullet hell game. Feels pretty polished, for example you can push bombs into enemies, nice visual effects and so far i didn't run into any bugs. Overall neat game, maybe a bit to hard but that was the intention.
BTW: by cursors u mean arrow keys right? :D
It was really hard to help Spongebon get laid with those cockblocking minions but i made it!
Funny game with cool graphics and nice music.
Pretty innovative idea and nice execution. I like how mouses go buck wild when you bump into them. Shame there is no music, nice relaxing music would add to the experience. I like graphics, art style is consistent. Overall pretty good game.
Interesting game, i liked graphics and gameplay mechanics. My top highscore so far is 360 past that point ships are just too fast :D
Pretty good game in overall.
Really cool idea and execution. Player can quickly get grasp on the controll and the fun begins. Game could use more enemies and different challanges but as you said, time was short.
BTW: you should really change your "main game picture/thumbnail" people prbly are missing out because thumbnail doesn't really attract that much attention. Anyway great job man!
Whoaw that's very ambitious game for Ludum Dare. You managed to do a lot and with full team i can only imagine how much you could achive. Anyway game is really interesting. Music, graphics and AI voice give game really cool atmosphere. I will come back to this game, when i will have more time, and try to complete it.
Really unsettling game. Music, sound effects and graphics are creating great atmosphere. Amazing job for 3 days. It feels so polished, maybe you didn't put as much content as you wanted but it's still pretty lengthy by LD standards. Cool game!
Awesome game as always. Really challenging - easy to play but hard to master.
PS it was nice to watch your stream in background while working on my new game... Fight tub - “What Happens in the Tub, Stays in the Tub”
FightTub.png
Impressive for solo 48 hours, game feels polished and complete. Tutorial is short and explains game well. I also like sound effects, pretty funny and they match the mood of the game. Gameplay is simple but it's fun to balance ant population and food income. The only thing that could use some extra work are Graphics but they are pretty clear / easy to read and that's the most important thing.
Intriguing game, i was actually invested in the story and that pushed me through the game. Movement and fighting is clunky but that's not the main focus of the game. Decent writing and good job on graphics, simple but neat. Also could you tell what happens in both ending? I picked one and would like to see alternative ending but playing thgrough again takes too long. In overall pretty solid entry, it's nice to see games that try something different compared to most LD games.
Entertaining multitasking kind of game, it really requires a lot of skill to survive for longer time. I like how little people on your planet are your hp, and if you can't handle all around defence any longer, you can focus on just one part of planet. Graphics and audio are neat and they go well together. Pretty good game for mobile devices.
Pretty funny concept with amusing gameplay! This game sure is innovative and has interesting mechanic. Gameplay feels well balanced, you really try to avoid all building and people, but timer puts a lot of pressure, if you want you can complete game easly-ish but to master it and destroy as little as possible is a real challenge. Also it's satisfying to just stomp at the villain at the end.
Game feels pretty polished and is fun to play. I like that you wanted to make your own art style and it feels different enough and is actually really pretty and matches the game mood. Sound effects are also nice and satisfying. AI could use some extra work, it was easy to exploit it and shoot it from distance or just around the corner. Also if you wanted to make dash as main mechanic then you really should make it stronger, usually i didn't bother to use it although it did save me some HP few times. And i think that you should dash in direction that is the hero moving at the moment, that would more intuitive and easier to use. In overall pretty solid game and i wish you good luck with futher development.
That's an interesting idea to have a giant duck (that uses her children as meat shields) as the protector of Earth. Gameplay is really challenging and you it's only a matter of time before you won't be able to weaken asteroids by throwing your babies a them. Nice graphics and funny game in overall.
First of all props for the title. Gameplay is pretty simplistic but also engaging, randomized enemies (i belive they are) add to the experience. This game really reminds me of Chip and Dale NES games and other games like that. Pretty cool art style and audio matches it well. Impressive for such a short development time.
Very innovative idea and well executed, it's fun to observe situation and try to adjust accordingly. I think i got pretty high score (beat one level and was almost done with another) but website crashed on me so i couldn't submit it. Graphics are simple but easy to read. Would be cool to see this project more expanded with more mechanics and levels. Solid game in overall.
Interesting, innovative idea and well executed. Firt of all im impressed that you manage to make cutsecene in such a short time. Graphics are simple but are easy to read which is the most important in this kind of game, audio is also allright and match the game. Gameplay has more depth than you could assume at start, to manage to provide electricity to all cities is a challenge and you have to plan ahead and be careful with your finances. In overall really solid game.
First word that comes to mind when i want to describe this game is 'elegant'. It feels polished and art style is just so adequate for this game (audio also matches pretty nicely). I like how even menu is part of the game. Difficulty curve is just right and new mechanics get introduced gradually so player doesn't feel overwhelmed from start. Also decent amount of levels and they are neatly designed.
I like tower defense kind of game especially when you can actually control hero instead of just placing turrets. Gameplay is pretty fun and requires from player to plan ahead (where to put turrets, if they will be enough and i should save money for next map or do i have to make additional support). Cool visual effects and audio fits the game pretty well.
Space potatoes keep killing Earth D: Simplistic, old school kind of game, fun to play. Graphics are decent and game gets harder with time which is nice.
Cool Agar.io kind of game with a twist, i like that there is that dark planet that i have to play hide and seek with if i want to survive. Also sound effects are really neat, give game this creep-ish vibe. In overall fun, short game for LD.
This game is truly a hidden gem! Really REALLY impressive for such a short time of development it just feels so polished. The visual effects when you create black hole are just astonishing. Good job on recreating 80's style and setting great mood. You are right that many people might get discouraged quit fast but well... i will definietly come back to this game and play more when i will get more time. Congratulations man!
It is fun to just throw stuff in this world and see what people will do with the resources, it is interesting to watch them just build new stuff. Do they fight with each other? I swear i saw some of them throw something at other people. Anyway pretty cool zen kind of game and you nailed the theme. Nice graphics and overall mood, good job!
Very pretty game, elegant and stylish. You definitely achieved your goal of making game with "Graphics made of simple shapes with a limited color palette" and task queue seems to work fine too. Gameplay is more of a zen experience and to be honest i don't have anything against it but some background music would improve mood of the game. Actually it was fun to min-max your airships and try to build everything as efficient as you can. With more mechanics and some in-game challanges it could be really engaging game.
Reminds me of Agar.io but with way more action packed into it. Concept with atom war is pretty amusing and gameplay is entertaining in overall, the way player level up is interesting.
Graphics are definitely the strongest aspect of this game, they are really well done and have this unique feel to them. Gameplay is simplistic and a little bit clunky but i feel that this is not the main focus of this entry, i think it's more about journey experience. It would be fun to see this game with more mechanics.
I played this game a lot and i will play more! Really cool idea and execution, well balanced and rewarding when you win or pull off some cool tactical maneuver. Definitely the best game i have played so far in this Ludum Dare edition. It's also nice that Shaun hangs out in chat and participates in maches or answers questions about game.
Neat puzzle game, at first rules seem complicated but player can get grasp on them quickly. Game really forces to min-max every move and think ahead, overall pretty fun entry.
Fun simple game with engaging gameplay. At first i thought that you need to chose opposite element to the enemy (like you need to use water on sand enemies etc) but after few tries i realised that i need to match enemy element. Graphics are neat and give this 'light / chill' feeling to them, audio is also pretty nice. In overall pretty solid entry.
Cool zen kind of game, it's a pleasant experience to watch them expand and build new stuff. I like ho pretty world you can create in this stylish minimalistic art style.
Great atmosphere! Audio and graphic style match together and set right mood for this kind of game. Difficulty curve is nicely done, at first it is easy to manage your colony and you learn mechanics and how to be efficient, but the bigger your base is the tricker games gets. Really nice idea and execution, well done especially for your first Ludum Dare!
This plot sounds strangely familiar, One Punch Man? ;) Gameplay is simple but entertaining and difficulty is pretty well balanced. Controls could use some polishing (although difficult climbing might be part of challenge) but other than that i don't have any complaints.
Engaging game and requires a lot of skill to survive for longer time, i had a lot of fun playing. Good job on sound effects :D GUI could be 'clearer', when i am almost overrun it takes too much time to find how much coins i have. But other than that i don't have any complaints.
Pretty game that reminds me of Limbo, minimalistic but elegant and stylish. 'Levels' were well designed and fun to complete. Platforming was a bit annoying at time and buggy and i broke the game few times just to see what will happend if i use dreamcatcher in weird places. But bugs are to be expected in such short development time. In overall pretty neat game, would be nice to see this game expanded.
I gotta tell that at first this game feels so overwhelming. It really is impressive that you manage to make it in 3 days. As you mention there are some bugs* but it is still amazing. I love playing 'mystery games' when you try to work out whats going on and here it is mixed with action game which for some people works for others not, but enemies are too buggy and sometimes it is irritating being killed when enemy just appears out of nowhere. Also text said by hero could be in different colour, that would be easier to read and understand. Are you going to work on this game more? I am genuinely interested and would like to play more polished version. Also can you post somewhere story? I know that player should have fun figuring this out on his own, but to be honest i got discouraged by buggy enemies.
BTW when you said 'don´t get scared' i expected more of a scary ambient atmosphere, but when i got to sector 15... guys, you better prepare
##SPOILERS
*bugs -if you go to your apartment first and when black creature kills you then you don't die and next triggers are broken -in some resolutions text goes off the screen -black creature can go through building and mountains
Really complex game especially for Ludum Dare. I would suggest to make some kind of small and quick tutorial in game, and you don't have to show every mechanic in it, just basics so player can navigate in game world and will figure out how to do more complex things. Many players will be discouraged by walls of text and because of that will not know what to do in game, then will be frustrated when they lose.
With that out of way i really enjoyed your game! I like turn based games and this one adds to it card game mechanics and resource managment! AI provides a challenge and depending on what mode you are playing it might be easier / harder to succeed. This game is fun to play and really interesting i actually would like to see this game more developed (more game mechanics and maybe encounters like in Faster Than Light?) i think this game has a chance to interest a lot of players. Art style is minimalistic but elegant and fits this game. In overall really cool game and good job on developing it in so short time.
Puzzle game that requires to plan ahead, pretty fun to play. Graphics are simplistic and easy to read which is just right for this kind of game. Also very clever approach to the theme.
Innovative mechanics when you have to keep escaping but also manage your molemans and try to save as many as you can. Adorable graphics and sounds give this game nice atmosphere. Shame that game doesn't reward / punish player based on how many creatures he saved. Anyway pretty neat game with engaging gameplay.
Interesting use of physics, projectiles that orbit around torus add deepth to the gameplay. I also liked particle effects, especially when worm enemies die. In overall pretty solid game with innovative mechanics.
Funny concept and good execution. At first it seems chaotic and it's hard to survive but after a while you get used to it and can easily avoid hammers. Music is of course really good and sets great atmosphere for this game. Overall really decent game.
Really impressive, you did excellent on capturing this retro atmosphere of old games. It's like a mix between Castelvania and Ghost & Goblins. Graphics and music are just top notch. Controls could use some polishing and hitboxes are sometimes weird but that's understandable due to the time limitation. I would like to see this project expanded and good luck with your kickstarter.
Usually i'm not into platformers but this one is actually really fun to play. Controls feel just right and map that changes is pretty cool mechanic. Also difficulty curve is really nicely done, at first it also seems too easy but quit quickly game presents enjoyable difficulties to overcome.
Fun idea and execution, rules are intuitive and easy to get grasp on. Neat art style and audio, gameplay is addictive and i just want to play more just to see what happens next. Really solid game and fun to play. My top score so far is 6 tribes and 9 population
At first i was like "It's simplistic but pleasant experience" but when i collected enough honey... oh man xD. It's so dramatic! You going to score real high in humor categoy, i can tell that. My only suggestion is that the first part of the game when you collect honey could be shorter, many people will play it for 1 minute and decide that they know what kind of game this is and that's probably all that there is to it and they will miss this amazing ending section.
Unique approach on the theme, i like how it shows boring daily routine of prison life. Gameplay is kinda repetitive but that's the point. Interesting experience, good job.
Well done, graphics are simplistic but match the genereal atmosphere of the game. Puzzles are intuitive and at right difficulty level. My only problem was with shadow numbers, i mean it crossed my mine that i need to look at them from specific perspective or how they cast shadows but clicking at rug didn't work for me at first. As you mentioned, you made rug bigger but there still could be some indication that you can look down. Other than that i don't have any complaints, very pleasant game to play, good job!
The opening sequence is pretty funny 'Max that is mad about that'. Gameplay is pretty nice, right from the beggining player can see that this game is not going to be a easy one.
Really cool game! Gameplay is pretty fun and engaging but also presents challanges along the way. Also you gave a player good motivation to keep playing - curiosity. Graphics and music is nice also i like how audio changes when you are higher. Overall really solid game and good job on your first entry. One more thing, you may want to make LD game a little easier and quicker to complete, many people don't want to spend much time on one game and get easily discouraged. Anyway i really enjoyed playing your game.
Cool game aesthetics, game has consistent art style and it sets great mood. I like visual effects when enemies die and projectiles explode. Gameplay is fun, it's a challenge to complete this game even after a couple of tries. Impressive game escpecially if we take into account the fact that you wrote it yourself from the scratch.
Gameplays gets a lot of depth thanks to the fact that the planet terrain is uneven and thanks to that your missles are being on different angle. Game looks really pretty, even guis seems polished. In overall pretty decent game.
Very engaging game, really fun to play! I like how gameplay is balanced by amount of move you have per turn. AI is pretty decent and provides a lot of challenge. It is impressive that you manage to make this game solo just in 48 hours. Game assets fit with each other and set rigt mood for this kind of game. Well done!
That's one funny game! i love the sound effects especially when ships fall of the edge :D Gameplay is very simple but engaging and fun; easy to play but hard to master. Shame there is no multiplayer option but it's still nice to play it in 'local multiplayer'. To spice things up maybe there should be some enviromental hazards, like whirlpools or storms? Graphics are neat and in overall pretty solid entry.
Cute art style and general feel to this game is pretty 'innocent'. I like how planets have different facial expressions and depending on their size pull objects toward them. This kind of game is not my cup of tea but i actually enjoyed playing this, game feels pretty polished.
Interesting Agar.io spin off, good game for Ludum Dare - minimalistic, easy to understand and quick to play but hard to master.
Innovative idea and well executed. Graphics are well done and match satire kind of game. Gameplay is pretty fun (maybe a little repetitive after a while), it's hard to keep track of all twits but that's the challenge.
Controlling drunk mech-boxer is really satisfying, it is just a ton of fun to go on smashing rampage and see everything around get launched in the air. I will make sure to read your post about physics, it will sure be handy in the future. Graphics are minimalistic but really clear and just match the games tone. In overall really good game and is entertaining to play.
Whoaw this is a really complex game but surprisingly easy to get grasp on. There are a lot of buttons / actions but are neatly organized in categories and are intuitive (like if you smoke to get your happiness up then you know that your health will go down). Audio is pretty nice and gives the whole game this silly / fun atmosphere. Gameplay is pretty engaging and you constantly thinks about your next move although game might get too repetitive after two playthroughs. Graphics are the weakest side of the game but they are really not that important in that kind of game. Pretty interesting game in overall.
Impressive for 12 hours time of development. Concept on constantly dying is interesting, with every death you get more knowledge about map layout so next time you can navigate faster. Neat graphics, in overall pretty nice game.
A story well told, kind reminds me of The Walking Dead season 1 (game) mixed with 'Richard & Alice'. Gameplay is challenging and im glad that there are checkpoints and shifts speeds game up. It's impressive that you have done all assets and mechanics in such a short game, congratz!
Ha, this game is quite addictive. It is really cool to grow so fast and just look for new prey. Spacebar adds this 'leap of faith' kind of feeling when you are almost out of power and need to fight something right now or just die. Graphics are simplistic but it's neat how background image gets smaller and smaller as you get bigger. In overall pretty simplistic game but can give a lot of entertainment to the player. Well done!
BTW: sorry for spamming your highscore board (Zeriver and Zeriver2), i had problem with saving my score after i already submitted one. Not sure if i did something wrong or is it a bug.
Beautiful graphics in retro art style and audio matches this climat. Gameplay is pretty challenging but rewarding when you get to next checkpoint. Platforming feels a little bit clunky though, maybe it is just too fast. With that being said i am not a good platformer so my feedback my be a bit off in this aspect. Anyway game is really impressive and you managed to make this in compo and using monogame (which has a little bit slower workflow than unity or gamemaker, at least in my experience). Good job, game well done.
Engaging resource management game. I like how you get idea what's going on thanks to the newspaper and that is also a great way to create some immersion. You put a lot of effort to write whole articles which is quite impressive. Graphics are simple and minimalistic but are consistent and also make game feel more lighthearted. Decent game in general.
One more thing, when i downloaded windows version i got error 'Unable To Load Mono' maybe it's because of build version. Luckily there is web version of the game. PS: i enjoyed clicking on the ducks
Pretty humorous game! I like one liners that our 'hero' says after doing something 'New keycard for Chris... Chris needs a new keycard'. Graphics and audio go well together and create this goofy, silly mood. Gameplay is pretty neat and player feels the time pressure although when you die you have to start from the beggining, some checkpoints would be nice. Collision detection could use some polishing, sometimes it's hard to get through doors. Pretty fun game with a charming mood, good job!
Humorous game with good atmosphere. I like how player really has to explore as fast as possible but also watch out for teeth-monsters, lantern mechanic add a lot to mood. Graphics are good looking and easy to read, audio fits the overall tone. Cool game with nice concept.
Whoaw, this game is a cool mix between shooter, tower defense and Tetris. And all of that works pretty great together. Graphics are also pretty great, crusaders look very cute. Also the variety of the enemies is impressive, they attack from every angle possible. It is really cool game with innovative mechanics and more people need to play this! You should rate some games so your game won't be overlooked, that would be really a shame.
Ha, charming game. Reminds me of "Watch paint dry", in that game you also have plenty of ways to kill time while you are just waiting / watching. Pretty well done lightbulb physics, it was actually entertaining to swing it around.
Engaging and challenging bullet hell kind of game. Gameplay is pretty fun and i like that you have to switch between your 'powers' to maximize damage output, it give a new level of depth to the mechanics. Art style is minimalistic but elegant and all enemies are well designed. I also like the backstory, it creates a neat immersion. In overall it is a pretty cool game and fun to play.
That's a really ambitious game for Ludum Dare and you participated in Compo which is even more impressive. Art style and audio are pretty great, together they set a nice mood and there is this feeling of mystery to it. Gameplay is neat and engaging, simple puzzles that you go through are not really a challange but i think that is not the main focus of the game at the moment. Impressive game in overall.
Pretty cool, short game. I like how you mixed pixel art with 2.5d levels, it worked out pretty well, animations are also pleasing to the eye. Platfroming and shooting enemies is challenging and entertaining, checkpoints sure are useful. Shooting requires using both mouse buttons which is unusual for most players but you can quickly get used to it. In overall pretty cool game.
This is really innovative idea, you use your cards to stir the ship and movement is in real time. That is brilliant and i would love to see this game mechanic expanded. Graphics are decent and audio is also pretty good. Gameplay is pretty engaging and it requires a lot predicting how spaceship will fly, dodging asteroids is pretty challenging and fun. In overall really neat game.
Ah, a good old shooter. Graphics are pretty good and set right climate to the game. Gameplay is neat but gets repetitive after while and is kinda too easy, the only risk is that you will run out of ammunition. But it was still satisfying to keep putting down those gigantic ants. It would be cool if you could jump in low gravity, maybe not necessary mechanic but would add to the 'coolness' aspect :) I also like Metal Gear Solid like messages, that creates some nice immersion. In overall pretty cool game.
Really innovative idea and great execution, it is satisfying to control drone and see it flying in the horizon. Graphics are atmospheric and are consistent, the 'drone screen' has some cool visual effects (also option to move around your 'main view' with mouse is a nice touch, totally worth the time... really). It is a challenge to complete this game but there is a lot potential for replayability. Oh and cool sound effects (electric toothbrush did the work :D). In overall it is a pretty cool game.
BTW: it was entertaining to watch stream
Oh yeah, i love Killing Floor and i love this game as well. Nothing like slaughtering waves of monsters to earn money and then spend it in shop so you can kill EVEN MORE MONSTERS. Graphics are really great and i like the backstory, power armored crusader in hell just sounds so cool. Gameplay is fun but kinda repetitive and AI often get stuck. But still it's pretty entertaining to use different weapons to put enemies down. Oh and great choice of music. Really fun game, good job!
Amazing game with innovative gameplay. I'm really fascinated with 'floating islands' worlds (hence i also made my game in this world : D) and i like how you managed to translate this world to platformer mechanics with teleportation. There are some bugs (funky collisions etc) but that's understandable due to the time limitation. Graphics are really pretty and animations are smooth. In overall really cool game and there is a lot potential for expanding this project, can't wait for updates.
@lookslikesomething Thank you! I wanted to make more encounters but i ran out of time
@noytroo That's a great suggestion, i already added it to the newest build. Thanks!
@hijomo That was on my list to do, but i never got to that. Not enough time unfortunately, thanks for feedback
@david-broz @kr4ft3r Yeah, 'floating islands' world has something magical and intriguing in it. I sure would like to expand this game and flesh out world more, but for the time being im stuck on other project. But hey, maybe one day in the future. And thanks for feedback m8
@nikrt Yep, most people just go through games and don't finish them if they are long. And yes UI kinda ruins the visual aspect of the game, wish i had more time for polishing that. Thanks for your feedback
@bmacintosh Yeah, it is beatable. Here is a hint: in second encounter it's good to charge robot (if you didn't rob the family), it will buy you time. Also every action cost some amount of time.
@pixel-game-wizard 'Skip' button is a great idea, thanks! I kind of added it to the newest build, if you press space you speed up the ship (time and power decrease proportionally).
@agecaf im glad that you liked the graphics and mood. I was worried about introduction panel, i know how irritating it can be when some text in games just fades away before you read it. Unfortunately i didn't find time nor the solution for this problem during event. I will try to fix that in new build. Thanks for feedback!
@drtizzle Ha, FTL was definitely the strongest inspiration for this game. Thanks for comment!
@jahndis @solah Glad you liked it, thanks!
@wheffle @aterlamia Text adventure was supposed to be part of the game, i wanted to add some battle mechanics but i pretty much knew i wouldn't have time for that. Especially since i started making my game pretty late (sunday, late afternoon). Thanks for feedback!
@huvaakoodia Ha, you got some good eye. It is robot from Deus Ex, bringing peace even in other worlds :D I would say that your choices matter, some people have problems with beating this game (luckily most people beat it on first, second or third try). And one fun fact: if you rob family in first encounter then while charging robot it will identify you as hostile and attack you. Thank you for feedback!
Incredibly good looking game, pixel art style is just beautiful. Audio also is in on point, sets great atmosphere. Gameplay kinda reminds me of Oregon Trail (at least traveling and random encounters). I like how you can slowly expand your village and you have more vehicles to scavenge nearby places. Although there could be some kind of small tutorial in game, just to get player on right tracks what to do. In overall really cool game with amazing graphics.
That's a really good looking game with cool atmosphere. Concept is also interesting and well executed. Swearing seems kind out of the place, i mean i don't have anything against swearing in general but here it just doesn't feel right or maybe there is just too much of it. Anyway gameplay is pretty neat and at first player is pretty much forced to lose but that's a learning process and next time you get what are the rules of gameplay. Pretty cool game.
This game is really polished, you even made time to make main menu that is really good loking (different backgrounds for different options / levels). Graphics are pretty and set lighthearted atmosphere to the game. Concept is pretty humorous, vampire that drains power from other hunting him bots. Gameplay is challenging and entertaining but can get repetitive. BTW im not sure if i understood correctly but you are supposed to press D if enemy is on your right side and vice versa match pressed buttons with direction that you want to damage, or it doesn't matter and you damage everything around you equally? In general pretty fun game that has this fully developed game kind of feeling, nicely done guys.
Cool take on tower defense genre. Innovative gameplay mechanics that keep player occupied all time. It's a good thing that you made time to make tutorial, it's short and explains game pretty well. There were some problems with click detection this could use some polishing and maybe displaying on minimap when turret runs out od battery would improve player experience. Art style is minimalistic but pretty and gives game a nice, lighthearted feel. Cool game, hope you get to 20 rating threshold/
I like sound effects, especially angry 'beep beep'. Gameplay is pretty neat and requires some planning and reflexes to get a good score. In overall game is pretty neat and entertaining to play.
Pretty well developed platformer, reminds me kind of of Super Meat Boi. I like how player is forced to act quickly, as at the beginning you have way more vision, yet even if you 'ran out of power' you can still complete the level. Platforming was fun though it required some getting used to time at the beginning. One thing though, it seems that when you hit top border of the screen you lose, not sure it that was intentional. Graphics are neat and background music fits them. In overall pretty solid platformer.
Really funny game, and music is so dramatic! We can't let battery die, charger is whole 10 feet away! Really clever main menu scene that takes you straight inside the phone. Graphics are pretty good and it is interesting to fight inside the phone and see phone screen above. Gameplay is pretty neat, it's fun to ctr+alt+del your enemies. In overall really cool game.
That's really well developed game with a lot of mechanics and well designed. There is a lot to do and a lot to pay attention to but interface is really easy to read, changelog in bottom left helps especially in early stage of game. Art style i really cute, reminds me of Prison Architect / RimWorld. Gameplay has this multitasking vibe and difficulty increases as you progress. Really well done game.
Sweet game with decent writing and interesting text-adventure mechanics. It's impressive how many branches to the story are there and how different can they be. I liked the graphics, pretty stylish and pleasing to eye. In overall pretty neat game.
Cute game with nice graphics and music. Gameplay is pretty simplistic but the pressure of time makes it more engaging and you really have to hurry up to win this game. Neat idea with phone running out of energy, pretty realistic issue for our times :P My only complaint is that showing and hiding mobile is not done by the same button, it kind not intuitive to have to press escape to hide phone instead of just pressing spacebar again, but that's a minor complaint and it doesn't really affect gameplay. In overall pretty sweet short game.
Neat mix between 'investment' kind of game and decision making process in your office like in game 'Reigns'. It is fun to expand slowly across the whole map and build your energy empire. Graphics are simple but consistent in art style and easy to read. In overall pretty interesting game with fun gameplay.
I really like puzzle games and this is is pretty good. Levels are well designed and difficulty curve is just right. Some of the last levels are really challenging and rewarding when you beat them. Music is fine but is way to fast / gets too much 'in the face', i personally prefer more ambient, calm kind of music for puzzle games. But other than that game is pretty solid with fun gameplay.
That's a funny idea of being 'hero' who creeps inside other people's houses and turn off their light. Gameplay is pretty neat, you really have to watch out for those cats. Graphics are pleasant and animations are well done. Our protagonist also has neat one liners, it's just hard to not to be on his side. In overall pretty neat game.
It's nice to finally let do all the shooting some else and watch your enemies bite dust. Managing power is pretty entertaining and batteries give a lot of new options, in last wave managing shield batteries is key to the victory. With that being said, difficulty could be a little cranked up most waves are pretty easy to beat. This game, for some reason, reminds me of Starship Troopers, probably because you are constantly attacked by overwhelming forces. Pretty decent game in general.
Incredible game, it feels so polished! Really guys, you did great job it feels like demo for 'Steam game', it actually reminds me of Zombie Night Terror. I hope you are going to continue working on this project. Graphics are really well done (smooooth animations) and mood is also pretty great, minimalistic audio sets a right tone. Gameplay is pretty interesting and i see a lot of potential with more ways to use ship equipment to deal with scavangers. Really well done!
Addictive gameplay i just wanted to get a as far as possbile. I really like how many kinds of enemies are there, especially i like Archanibot (really creepy, when you step on wires he is charging at you really fast). Graphics are neat retro style and are easy to read. Gameplay is really fun but way to easy in my oppinion. I would suggest that generating level is less generous with power tiles and items as you progress (the higher your score is). I think i found myself in situation where i just got more and more stuff. rubberBot.jpg
Other than that game is really great and fun to play, are you going to expand this project?
BTW: really impressive game for your first LD and first game published ever, congratulations
That is a really cool mix between bullet hell game and powers like reverse time, ghost etc. It is pretty cool how every power has energy meter which is also a nice balancing mechanic and forces player to use different skills. Gameplay is really engaging and challenging. Graphics are decent and easy to read, you can clearly see all bullets, they don't disappear on the background. Music is neat and gives a nice mood. Pretty fun game in general.
Interesting puzzle game with a lot of levels. I like how first level teach player new mechanics and later you just solve puzzles. Puzzles were mostly fun but sometimes i could see solution right away and then i had to for next 2 minutes just execute my plan and hope that i won't 'missclick' and have to repeat whole process again. I think that reverse last turn could be useful and wouldn't really impact gameplay negatively. Graphics are pretty and background music sets a nice to the game. Neat puzzle game in overall.
Indeed, the more players the more chaotic it gets. I really enjoyed this game and laughed really hard, especially when i beat Danae. Cool game and entertaining gameplay!
Destroying stuff feels really satisfying. I like general art style and particle effects are pretty neat too. Gameplay is fine but maybe a little too easy. In general pretty cool game shame there aren't more levels.
Whaow this game feels so complete. I mean gameplay itself is pretty good and entertaining but little things like music change on 'safe zone', how pirates warp in after you destroy asteroids and movement in generals feels so smooth. This game feels really polished, most impressing for 48 hours. Well done, well done.
Cool game mechanic and very good level design made this game very fun to play. I like some little 'traps' where next way-point was right next to each other and i had to remember to make a little roundabout before going there so i will have some time to escape from me previous self. My only problem is with camera motion, i don't know what exactly is wrong but constant rotation made me kinda dizzy. But in overall pretty cool game and enjoyable experience, good job!
Really engaging game, although i might be biased since i really like turn based games. Balancing all 'variables' was really hard, sooner or later my joy was reaching 0 i think there should more ways to replenish it since it is most used resource. I like how you added 3 special actions that still have consequences or need some conditions to be used. Graphically game is simplistic but easy to read and intuitive. In general pretty fun turn based game, well done.
Very addictive, i like how you reward player for 'precise shooting'. Weapon upgrades are actually more dangerous than enemies sometimes which is a nice twist ti typical bullet hell games. I like how enemies try to move in weird patterns so it is harder to shot them. Graphics are pretty nice and i like how in background we can see space that is moving around and not just a static image. Games feel really polished and is really entertaining to play, perfect for Ludum Dare, well done!
Innovative game with nice execution. Difficulty curve is pretty nice, with each lap you get more and more drinks to take care of. I like graphics and general idea of underwater bar is pretty cool. My only complaint is that you have to restart from start every time, after a while first laps are just a minor obstacle to get to the more challenging parts. In overall pretty neat idea and interesting gameplay mechanics.
Humorous game with interesting and innovative game mechanic. Controlling helicopter is pretty entertaining and later level require you to prove your skill in piloting it. I really like facial expressions in this game especially if i drop one of blue dude. Graphics are simplistic but choosing this blue-ish colour range give the game it distinct feel. In overall pretty fun game, well done.
Whoaw pretty cool game, it really gets overwhelming when you get more thoughts. Nice concept and execution. Writing seems decent and there is a lot of options. Graphics are also pleasant to look at. In overall pretty good game that left me hungry for more.
Hahaha this is one is really good! I really enjoyed playing this game. At first i thought it was an interesting game mechanic and every new tentacle made it easier but at some point i had so many that it was really hard to not get cooked. Pretty good graphics and tentacle sound was top notch. Really good game, well done!
Pretty interesting take on the theme, where the more upgrades you have the more likely you are to destroy the very thing that you were supposed to defend. Simplistic gameplay but fun and controls feel very smooth. In overall pretty fun short game.
Very innovative idea, i like how each group has their own 'mechanic' and music change is also very nice. There could be more mechanics to getting popular with groups than just standing near them. Maybe throwing ball at jocks, doing sick tricks with skaters etc. But of course due to the time limitation it is understandable. I like graphics, pretty cute and easy to read. Music is also pretty neat. In overall pretty fun, innovative game.
Fun game with nice humour and great sound effects. It is pretty fun to run through city and do whatever you want while jumping on the roofs. I like that from time to time map requires you to platform on roofs to progress further. When you are close to death game could indicate it somehow and maybe saving highest score would be cool, but other than that i don't have any complaints. I like art style and animations are pretty neat too. In overall pretty good game especially for first Ludum Dare.
Innovative game idea, i like the semi open level design where you can wander around and duel your opponents. Combat was pretty satisfying, sound effects when punching really add to the experience. There seem to be lack of overall goal in this game, i mean as fun as it is wandering around there need to be some closure (i know that you explained in the intro that 'enemy spawnpoint' can't be destroyed). I also like pixel art and animations look very smooth. Pretty good game in general, well done.
This game feels really polished and there is also nice backstory and explanation for everything that happens in the game. Very impressive for 48 hours of work. I like old school feel to the game, graphics and audio go together perfectly. Game is pretty well balanced, the more time you spend on planet the more risky it gets but you might get a lot of good stuff. Also when you are hauling stuff you can't use pulse which is also a nice balancing factor. In overall really good game and really fun to play.
Nice turn based game with rock-paper-scissors mechanic. First 3 level quickly teach new player what to do and how game work. Later levels are challenging but with feel fair and are beatable. I like art style, it is unique and sets nice to the game. In overall pretty fun game.
Hey that was pretty cool! I really liked the corporation stuff at the beginning, really adds to the experience. The whole cleaning the mess and leaving decent for your 'replacement' makes player really to try hard or maybe opposite if someone is into it. Really cool game i also liked how i was 'rated' at the end. Well done, well done.
Pretty fun multitasking game, building your economy and defenses was pretty entertaining. In my experience most effective tactic was building ring of turrets around the base and economy building inside. Of course as i expanded i was forced to make small sub regions which was pretty fun to build. Art style is pretty and sound effects are fine. Difficulty was a bit to easy, maybe as more money you have there should be more enemy types etc but that of course is if we talk about expanding this project. In overall pretty cool game, really hits my taste, good job!
That was a pretty funny game, like everyone else said giving all colours but the ones you actually need is recipe for funny painting. Really innovative game and great execution!
That's a pretty cool take on Tower Defense genre. I don't think i ever seen 'curling' as main mechanic in action game. It requires a lot of skill to complete all levels although it player has to try new map few times just to see where enemy spawnpoints are which feels slightly unfair. Graphics are pretty neat and consistent. In overall pretty fun, innovative game, good job!
Humorous game, especially 'fail scree' when you poo on the street is funny. Neat idea and decent execution, i like minimalistic art style with an oldschool vive to it. Game might a be bit too challenging, especially when first tries on each map are just so you can get familiar with level layout. But in general pretty funny game.
Very innovative and creative game. I really like how player has some freedom of choice and levels allow for multiple ways to complete them. Controls feel pretty responsive and 'puzzles' are well designed. I like the graphics, simple but cute. At the end i kinda expected surprise Thanos twist, that would be a cool way to end this game :D Really well made with unique concept and great execution!
Simple but cute game. At first it was a little confusing how to read the map, but rather quickly the player can grasp the mechanics. I would suggest numbering the cities on map so player knows which dot is Town 3. I would also add some roads to the minimap so it's easier to judge how long the delivery is going to take. I like the cute graphics and music, it really sets a nice, pleasant mood. In overall it was a fun, chill game.
Super simple yet extremely entertaining game. I really like how different files take different space on the disk, it adds a lot of depth in the game since when you are slowly getting overwhelmed you have to prioritize different files. It also is pretty intuitive and makes sense from computer user perspective. The graphics stylized for Windows are, well, pretty obvious choice for this kind of game :D but still it was really well made. The generic background is fine, maybe it's just me but after hearing very similar tunes (or sometimes the same) many times in different games, kinda kill the immersion. One thing that i would suggest is changing mouse cursor when mouse is over the file, it's a small thing yet i think it would add a lot. Anyway. game is really great, simple but super fun and challenging. Excellent choice for Ludum Dare.
BTW: shame there isn't a quick way to see top scores, maybe adding that to main menu would be a good idea? Well i certainly would want to see everyone that i got the first place ;)
Another very ambitious game for Ludum Dare. I really like pixel art and the transitions between the locations and how UI slides when you enter the 'conversation mode'. The idea of sharing map space with 'words' is really innovative and interesting, to be honest it didn't impact the gameplay that much but it was still a fun mechanic. The puzzles were challenging, they slowly were getting more difficult but manageable (although completing the whole game takes some time). Writing is really good and witty, definitely gives the game some charm. In overall it is a really great Ludum Dare game.
Quite entertaining, managing different data types and planning ahead for maximum efficiency turned out to be pretty fun. Levels are well designed and provide just enough challenge. I like the whole inside computer aesthetics and music also sets a nice tone for the game. The only thing I could suggest is to make level 'faster' it takes a lot of time to charge battery and complete the level, good thing that you added option to skip levels. In general it's a really fun, short game.
That is a fun management / planning game and the tetris mechanic is also a pretty neat addition for that kind of game. The graphics could be a little easier to read, it took me a monent to realize that ? means what they have in that city and i 'tetris - pack it' to the trunk before i arrive to the city to pick it up. I like that there are multiple levels with more trucks and with more options to optimize fuel usage. In overall it is a pretty fun game with pretty unique concept.
Hahahahah this is a gem! I mean really, it's rare for LD game to left me wanting more so much. Shame that game is so short but it is really fun. Could be a little more challenging for my taste but still it was dynamic and entertaining. I really like the intro and the humour, the whole idea of making LD game around some character is pretty interesting. The graphics are pretty colorful and busy but still it is easy to navigate in the game and see the important stuff. The voiceacting is pretty neat and music fits the mood perfectly. Well done!
That is a really cute, Metroidvania like game with really smart designed map. It feels really fun to go through the same are multiple times but each time the gameplay is different. It almost remind me of The Alien, at first you sneak in the 'vents' and avoid enemies, later you are bigger and can be a threat and your final phase is a big MOFO who just wrecks everyone. The whole destructible blocks thing is really impressive. Graphics are also very neat, the sound effects really match. In overall it is a really good game!
That is a super interesting concept and great execution. Gameplay is easy to grasp on yet the longer you play the more challenging the game gets, the difficulty curve is really well balanced. The voxel graphics are also very nice and set a nice mood for the game together with the music and voiceacting. One thing i would suggest is to add outline to objects that you mouse over and somehow make it easier to know where you are about to drop something (better shadows or something maybe). Still the game is really well made and designed. I like how you even got time to make two mods for playing, really impressive. Good luck with VR and mobile ports!
The gameplay is pretty fun however as you said, it could use more play testing to make the gameplay more challenging and engaging. The idea is pretty good and managing boxes in the warehouse is a great fit for the theme. Making sure that you have easy access to the boxes as the area is getting more and more filled is a fun thing to do. Graphics are simple but easy to read and clean. In overall it is a pretty solid game!
I like this a lot. There is quite a few inventory management games in this LD edition but this one definitely stands out. The whole idea of being a squire to the hero is neat and i love the Diablo aesthetic, really adds to the experience. Gameplay is pretty solid and difficulty curve is just right, later you really have to manage inventory and be on top of things. It would be cool if you traveled with your hero around the dungeon but with LD time limit, it's still pretty impressive. One thing i could point out is that using a potion is a little intuitive at first, i tried dragging it on health bar before RMB it. Graphics are very nice and music definitely fits. Well made game!
Very interesting mix of gameplay mechanics. It's like more 'puzzle-ish' agar.io and you are running out of space. Gameplay is pretty dynamic and pretty well explained / intuitive. There is a lot of replay value and with each try, player gets better. The art is pretty simplistic but looks neat and is 'clean' / easy to read. In overall it is a pretty solid, entertaining game!
Hahahahah what a game! This is simply hilarious! I really like the facial expressions and how king gets excited when he gets a new burger, he even does a little legs wiggle! I really like when king gets bigger you have to jump from the upper floor to reach his hands and give him the plate. Really fun game with cute music and graphics. Ah right, i have to download the game since web version was a little finicky when using the scroll, even in fullscreen. Anyway game is great, this is just a hilarious, perfect LD game!
Also i couldn't help but think about this while playing: tumblr_mn81fwOGJp1qjn8eto1_500.jpg
That was a fun multitasking management game. I think the needs could be easier to read or just straight up display the object they want. Although maybe it's part of the challenge to memorize it and take a moment longer to find right object. I like the graphics and sounds, both send a nice mood for the game. The upgrades also add another depth to the gameplay and give a feel of progression to the game. In overall it's a pretty fun game!
Humorous game with nice gameplay. I really liked the beginning 'screen' that turned out to be a part of the game with 3d credits. Levels are pretty creative and last one is also pretty challenging but rewarding. I like the graphics and 'camera work', the style is pretty slick even if simple. In general it's a fun, short game.
Hahahha that is a really humorous game! I really like the whole arctic disco idea! The music and little dance moves just go together so well, the premise is just hilarious. The art style has a good colour pallet and animals models with their animations are cute, btw cool to see you guys trying out 3d for LD. The gameplay is pretty hectic and i like it, although at times it feels like it mostly comes down to RNG rather than my skill of crashing together icebergs (and knocking off everyone on them). Still it was a really enjoyable short game, great game for Ludum Dare!
@wheffle Thanks for the heads up! I fixed the link, sorry for the inconvenience
@peachtreeoath Thank you for the detailed feedback! About building in the lower levels, did you clear out the rocks? After destroying them you should have space to build. And you should totally check out Frostpunk it is incredible game.
@linus I didn't explain it in the game, but in the nighttime, workers do construction works (or dismantle buildings) if there is any. Good idea about limiting the number of workers working on the shaft, i could really indicate it better to the player. And thank you very much for the expanded feedback, glad that you liked the game.
@logicon211 Yeah, you have to keep going down to escape constant freeze waves :D I wanted to make small intro which would explain the story better and set some mood for the game but i ran out of time.
@phlip45 I didn't explain it in the game, but in the nighttime, workers do construction works (or dismantle buildings) if there is any. It is quite useful later in the game since you can dismantle buildings and get some resources from the layer that is about to be frozen. And I added 'speed up' time option which i hoped would help with idle moments in the game. And thank you for the detailed feedback, glad you enjoyed the game!
@agecaf Thanks! I hoped that the objectives list would help someone if never played this kind of game
@spacemonkey Thanks for the detailed feedback! You are right about the building preview turning red when you don't have enough resources is not the best way to do that. Watching some streamers, it was somewhat confusing to them. You can press RMB to hide all building options, i know it is not intuitive but the deselection on any LMB click that is not on the building was kinda glitchy and i ran out of time to look at that. And thank you very much for all of that feedback, hopefully you will also like the Steam game ;)
@sokuaisushi Thanks for playing the game on stream! It was really fun to watch the game being played live and hang out in the stream!
@gleb-shishov Thanks, sorry for the confusing starting part of the game, still glad that you liked the game, it was fun to watch you play on Stream and later see some 3d modelling action ;)
@ventura @cristihkj Ayyy thanks!
@ixchow Congratz on completing the game, I am glad that you liked the game! And yeah, the game did offer a lot of *depth* ;)
@lealoo I was going to add more mechanics and complex systems but as it is, the whole coding stuff took a lot of time. And thank you for the feedback very much!
@digital-bacon Ha, i somehow missed the similarity to X-Com until you pointed it out :D Glad that you liked the game
@wolar I agree, the night time was supposed to be more busy since in the 'free time' workers work on construction / dismantling the building but in the end most of the nights were pretty uneventful. I added option speed up time so the nights wouldn't take that long (20 seconds in the max speed i think). And yeah the sun was kinda desynced with the actual time, i made some last hour changes and noticed that too late to fix. And thank you for the detailed feedback and glad that you liked the game!
@belowparallel-ian Thanks for the feedback! Sorry about the resolution 'bug', i forgot to add resolution restrictions to the game which as you pointed out can be pretty game breaking. I agree, the night time was supposed to be more busy since in the 'free time' workers work on construction / dismantling the building but in the end most of the nights were pretty uneventful. I added option speed up time so the nights wouldn't take that long (20 seconds in the max speed i think)
@ryanjavanshir Heh thanks, in the second day of the game jam i realized that i spent A LOT of time on coding and yet there was still ton of stuff to do, i had to cut a lot of planned stuff :D Glad that you enjoyed the game and please check out the voiceactor's YT channel, he is pretty chill and actually wants to do some more voiceacting stuff if you are interested
@pickens-inc Thanks for the very detailed and thanks for playing the game on stream! You are right about the tutorial, i realize how important it is for LD games yet i really couldn't find time to make one in the game (hence the objectives list to guide the player at the beginning of the game), I already cut a lot of stuff, like different areas have different resource income potential (underground roots give bonus to sawmill, underground lakes give bonus to farm etc). Thanks again for playing the game and long feedback and good luck with expanding your game!
@wheffle Thanks! You are right, the game kind throws you in the middle of it without any tutorial, hopefully objectives list was helpful enough ;) And you are right about the button feedback, it feels kinda 'blank' to use the UI, adding some effects to it def would improve how the 'experience' is received. Thanks for the detailed feedback, glad you liked the game
@kapiteinkoekwous Thanks for playing the game on stream! Watching the VOD was really entertaining and you gave a lot of interesting feedback, glad you enjoyed the game!
@drauthius Thanks, and yeah game definitely could use some serious polishing ;)
@firesplash-entertainment @honigkuchenpups Thanks for playing the game on stream, it was entertaining to watch the game being played, glad you liked it. And good luck with expanding your game!
That's a really well designed and good looking game! Honestly, just add more content and get it on Steam! The controls feel very responsive, maybe only the jump right after teleportation feels odd a little. The puzzles are very fine. The whole concept of going through the ruins of Earth and seeing it from the eyes of an alien creature is a really cool concept. The item descriptions and music really build an amazing mood. Graphics are simply beautiful, really impressive for such a short time. Game feels really polished and is pretty long. In overall it's a really great game, good job!
That was a really cool multitasking and management game. Very interesting concept and it really works on player's imagination. I really get a strong FTL vibe with the space, running out of something and choice of music. The visuals are also really nice and pleasant to look at. The difficulty curve is also really nice, you slowly get more and more things to manage and there is always a challenge in every level. Game feels really polished, generated levels are usually well balanced. The whole upgrades idea gives a nice feel of progression. One small thing that I can suggest is to make an outline around objects when mouse is over them to indicate that you can click it. In overall it is a REAALY good game, it was fun to play it, well done!
Ha that was a nice turn based, resource management - strategy game. There is a lot of mechanics, the game feels pretty packed with stuff to do. I like the general idea of the game and how you later mange couple of planet and try to build up the economy on each planet. I like the presentation, watching the planets flying is pretty neat. Menus in the game are pretty clean and self explanatory. In overall it is a really well made game, ambitious for Ludum Dare.
A really well made puzzle game with pretty innovative mechanics. Levels are well designed and don't take too much time to complete. Mechanics might take a moment to understand but once you grasp them, gameplay has a nice flow. The graphics are simple but decent, the music in the background isn't too intrusive.
I got stuck on this level. I need both jump and sprint, yet i need to give one of them when i want to pick up the blue card. Unless there is a way to change to what slot the card goes when you are on it's tile, i don't know how to beat it. ffff.PNG
Anyway the it is pretty fun and really pleasant puzzle game.
That is a really well designed and made game! After reading the description i expected it to be complicated and hard to get into, but the gameplay turned out to be pretty intuitive. The whole multitasking mixed with tetris-twoer-building and hectic shooter really is a great idea and the whole game was really fun to play. The difficulty curve is also just right, i barely made it through the last wave with the flagship but it was rewarding when i beat it. I think this is the most fun game in the gameplay department i have played so far in this LD edition. The pixel art is pretty but i think the intro is a bit more stylish, still the graphics in the level is also alright and easy to read. One more thing is that 'closed wall' detection was finicky at times, there were few situation when i though i closed the territory, yet the game didn't detect that. Anyway the game is really, the concept and execution is just outstanding. In overall it is a great game, really well done!
Cute game, reminds me of Dungeon Kepper (with you being the monster in the dungeon and heroes coming to slain you). The graphics are very nice and sound effects add to the game, music is also very fine. Gameplay is simple but pleasant and it doesn't take long to complete the game. Sometimes i was getting frame drops, which was slightly annoying but not that much. Very neat game with decent execution!
That was a really fun, relaxing puzzle game. I like the space setting and the little fact that you are a dude in the 'cockpit' who controls the robot. I don't know why but i like this detail, it adds to the game. Gameplay is pretty simple and surprisingly relaxing for a puzzle game under time pressure. I like the music and graphics, it just fits together nicely. Fun game!
That's a pretty cool arena kind of game, making terrain destructible by player's projectiles is pretty clever. The AI is pretty decent and it is engaging to play Free For All. Controls are pretty responsive and gameplay is pretty fun. One thing i could suggest is to make holes more visible, the background moves so sometimes the holes blend with the white parts of the background. Nonetheless the game is pretty good, it sure is an interesting take on the theme. Graphics are also very neat and easy to read. Solid entry overall!
Whoa, another gem of this Ludum Dare edition. The idea is great and executions is just superb. It feels great to save the truck in last moment before it enters the atmosphere or when you quickly jump out of the truck and haul valuable materials. Controls feel very responsive and while it takes some time to master them it is very rewarding. The pixel art is also amazing, sound effects are also on point. Extremely well made game, you should expand this project and release it on Steam!
Hmm it's really hard to tell, first of all i think you would have to extend the gameplay time. Perhaps some campaign when you complete missions / levels or something. With more mechanics and maybe a little story behind the gameplay this could be a really good game. I am not good at estimating prices but depending how much you will add to the game 7-10$ or 15+ if you really expand this project.
That is a really well designed game and you caught the spirit of Hitman games really good. It really feels like Hitman game when you walk around the map trying to memorize the layout and then assassinate key targets by waiting for them to be alone. The graphics are pretty minimalistic but i like the style and music is really setting the great mood for the game. It's a really fun and well made game overall!
That was a fun action packed game. It's really impressive for 3D platformer to be that easy to navigate, usually it's hard to get right perspective for such games, but here jumping and navigating around the level wasn't much of an issue. The graphics are simple, the textures on cube could use a better unwrapping but still the constant meteor shower gave a nice illusions of chaotic scene where you are in a constant danger. Controls feel pretty responsive and it feels good to make a series of hard jumps to survive a little longer. In general, it was a fun concept with a good execution, well made!
Shame there isn't a top scores online table, would be cool to see how well other players did and compete with them. My High Score was 2137 i think.
I really like the aesthetic, game looks just very pretty. Shame there is no audio, it could really improve the overall mood of the game, but it's understandable due to Compo time limit. Most of the levels are pretty well designed and fun, and I like how the last one is really challenging (i assume that the moving cubes and timed lasers is the last level since after i beat it, I just got the blue map without player or any obstacles). Controls feel pretty responsive and overall gameplay is pretty entertaining.
Game is really challenging and unforgiving. I think the gameplay would really improve if you added mid-level checkpoints, restarting whole level might get frustrating after a while, good thing that you added the ability to skip levels. Anyway the idea is pretty neat and execution is also pretty decent. Levels are designed pretty ok, especially if you take into account that they were just a part of 'big joke' ;) BTW the whole zoom out thing was really neat. Graphics are simple but consistent and clean, i like that clones get random face expressions. In overall it is pretty fun-frustrating game, well done!
Innovative concept with neat execution. Getting through the maze under the time pressure is pretty fun, mechanics feel pretty responsive. One suggestion i can give is to no spawn fire at random positions but at predefined positions, sometimes they spawn in the middle of the wall making progression impossible. Still it is a neat, short game. And congratulations on your first Ludum Dare!
Ha that's a nice 'Papers, please!-ish' game. I like the mood and story, graphics are also very well made and pleasant to look at, i like this style a lot. Gameplay is really simplistic and at the end it comes down mostly just to what decision you have made, but i think that gameplay wasn't the main focus of the game, feels like it's more about mood, story and characters. Interesting game!
That was a very fun mix of management game with light text adventure elements. I like how you added some bits where characters interacted and told more about the story, it could be even more fleshed out with some story bits. The game is rather well balanced i guess it depends on random events. One small thing, i think that the money you raise is lower depending on the day, i think you forgot to clamp the value so you won't collect negative money which happened to me twice :D. Anyway gameplay is pretty fun, the whole managing the unicorns and planning a head was entertaining. Well made game! ayyyy.PNG
Well that was a sad game that totally didn't hit close to the home. I liked the game references and the feel of inevitable end coming, completely unlike the real life.
Cool spin on top-down shooter, you can't really spam fire buttons since you are literally shoot your life away, killing or avoiding enemies is a constant 'tactical' decision that player has to make. Game is pretty well balanced, the difficulty curve gives time to get used to controls and provides later on a decent challenge. I am also digging the graphics, neat coin animations.
That is a pretty interesting take on the theme, gameplay itself is pretty simplistic but i am a fan of balancing and mix-maxing games so it was quite fun to experiment with different overhours pays to see what works best and gives most revenue. It was kind of weird that employee who decided to do extra hours, pretty much always quit next day. Still pretty cool idea and decent execution, shame that you marked it is marked as unfinished, some people could still get a kick from this game.
Hahahah now that is a truly perfect game for Ludum Dare! Simplistic yet innovative game core and playing it was super fun. I really like how you designed and balanced the game, player character performing actions automatically if close enough was super intuitive and didn't take anything from the game. Train speed and and bug attacks were well balanced and provided enough challenge for the whole game. And humour is also top notch, for some reason i was grinning through the whole game since the the train started moving and I finally got what kind of game is this going to be. All in all, excellent Ludum Dare game!
That's a pretty funny and original concept... and it works! Throwing around adventurers is pretty fun and as you survive more waves, it's becoming more challenging as the more crowded chamber gets. The visuals and audio set a great funny mood, I think it would make a great mobile game.
Top notch game, I liked the references to Warcraft III cultists. Graphics are very nice and together with music, they set a great atmosphere. I liked the humorous bits, it gave the game some character. The combat was a little bit wonky at times but generally the whole gameplay was pretty entertaining.
That's some high quality LD entry! I like how you gradually explain game mechanics in the game, it's rare for a game made in jam to have tutorial. The gameplay is fun and there was some weight to the choice between HP and restoring mana / soul since on later waves using skills is super useful. Fighting, dodging, kiting and utilize your skills is really fun and rewarding. I also like how many different enemies there are.
One thing that could be improved is maybe making projectiles more visible - they kinda blend with the background. And maybe somehow highlighting what skill is currently selected would be nice - at first it was kinda confusing to know what skill am I using and if next click will do the desired effect or not.
Great entry overall, fun to play and really well made.
A really cool spin for agar.io kind of games, and combat here has a lot of depth and allows for different strategies. Like you can be a glass cannon or a speedy boi who gets one cheeky attack and runs away. Really cool idea and execution is also top notch. Attacking could be easier to read, as I was not always sure how close do I need to be to enemy or how much my attack did / if all my arms got the hit. Anyway, really great entry for LD, easy to understand, fun to play.
Really atmospheric game, music and art really work together. The graphics are really top notch, it's impressive that you managed to do so many different characters and the balloon at the end is really cool looking. Gameplay is simplistic but pretty entertaining, figuring out how things work and where you can find the best stuff on map was fun but it's pretty hard to win the game on your first try before knowing your way around the town. Anyway, really great entry with incredible mood.
That's a really ambitious project! I didn't expect someone to make Rogue Legacy for Ludum Dare and it actually fits the theme! The execution is also pretty good, dungeon is really hard and one mistakes can mean death, the variety of rooms and enemies is pretty small but that's understandable due to the time limitation. The graphics are pretty decent, however the moving background is kinda distracting. Game is pretty charming, mouses (as there is really a lot of them and death of one is not a lose to the family) fighting owl dungeon is a pretty funny concept. Really solid and intuitive entry overall.
I am a fan of Sanctum so I am also a fan of this entry! Pretty fun, running around and setting turrets is neat, especially since there are many paths and you have to constantly be mindful of having some escape route. Game seems fairly balanced, turrets needed to be upgraded to keep me safe which ofc lead to me being on lower health. Generally pretty entertaining game, just give me guns and I will call it Sanctum 3!
One thing that was annoying; when upgrading / building turrets, it's hard to read the text on that UI background.
Entertaining and funny gameplay, and pretty decent balance. I liked the graphics and audio, voiceacting really gave the game special charm.
Interesting concept, it's a mix of RTS and multitasking game. You really have to start splitting your forces and have pac-man groups ready to hit any tower that appears on map, and you have to do it fast. I like the graphics and the gameplay. The map scrolling could be faster but that's a minor complaint. Well made game!
Cool concept, you really have to do the cooking quickly before enemies get to you and you have to balance quality of your burgers and how much time do you spend on preparing them. After first attempts the best strategy for me was to get away from enemies with my one move per turn and meanwhile just prep decent burgers and deploy them at once. But man, this is freaking hard, prepping takes a lot of time (animations showing how to cut something etc could be sped up IMO) and if you look away from your deployed soldiers too long, well they are going to bite the dust. The game is really fun and well designed but could use some balancing. I like how there is a lot of different mechanics for preparing different ingredients and there is quite a lot of different enemies. Graphics are very pretty, the 3d rendering is impressive. To be honest if the game didn't have such steep learning curve or there would be different difficulty levels (probably just making turns longer) it would be much more approachable / easier to get into. But still very impressive game and you definitely nailed the theme.
Very ambitious game for Ludum Dare and very well done! It's amazing how much content there is in this game and the puzzle are pretty well designed, maybe a little straightforward but still very competent. And also you really did A LOT of voiceacting for this game. Graphics are pretty and this art style really fits the atmosphere of the game. Well done!
That was a cute little game with pretty nice backstory. Resource management was pretty fun, you really had to watch your stats to not get yourself in the corner. Although it might be a good idea to disable options that will insta kill you, like i accidentally clicked 'walk' instead of being carried and i ran out of mana. Still it's a pretty fun game for couple minutes, well done!
I really enjoyed playing this on! Very simplistic but also very entertaining gameplay. I really appreciate checkpoints on every 'floor' and the variety of enemies plus even two bosses! Controls are very polished and i like little details like tire trail when taking sharp turns. Really great game for Ludum Dare, very impressive and good job!
Interesting game, the bullet hell part of the game was really challenging and rewarding at the same time. The dating sim part was pretty nice but could be a little more fleshed out in my opinion. Graphics and audio is pretty nice, i like how our health is indicated by Rei's appearance. In overall it's a pretty fun, cute game.
Pretty innovative game, at first kinda hard to grasp but after a while you get the mechanics and you can go around and trash the city. Game has surprisingly a lot of strategic depth, especially on hard difficulty. I like the minimalistic graphics and camera work although game could be a little framy at time. In general pretty fun game with innovative concept and good execution, pretty impressive for LD game!
Wow that was really fun! I'm not into typing games but this one is really good, it really forces you to multitask and make good decision quickly. What line to choose, recruit 5 Ryans or get that archer out on the line, really good stuff. Game has also fun background music that sets this lighthearted feel to the gameplay and graphics are also pretty good. In overall, really fun game, great concept and the execution, well done guys!
That's a pretty nice 'roguelike - like' game, i like how after every game you get more gold and can buy nice cards that allow you to progress further and get even more gold. Gameplay is pretty fun and it waves get hectic pretty quickly, you really have to use those powerups to survive. I like the sound effects and visual effects on death, explosions etc. Game sometimes feels a little grindy but it's just the 'roguelike' thing. In overall pretty fun game with clever theme implementation.
Very clever genres mix and well executed. I like how the more sanity you lose the more hectic screen gets, shaking, floating ghost, more spooky messages etc. Rhythm mechanics is pretty simple but it's really nice how the difficulty increases as the more time is passing and you really need to find the evidence quick enough. In overall, pretty fun game.
That was a very good idea to mix horror with quiz like game. Every time when i wasn't sure if my answer was correct, the suspense of going through the door and waiting for possible jumpscare was sure something. Once you get the wrong answer and see the jumpsacer, the suspense for next game is greatly diminished though. The game looks really good, definitely conveys this horror like atmosphere. Music was also pretty nice although it wasn't looping correctly which was kinda anti immersive. But in overall it's pretty cool game with excellent concept, well made.
Very atmospheric game, you really nailed the horror and suspense feel. It feels like mix of Penumbra and Cube (movie) and from both taken the best parts. I found myself looking around constantly to not get jumped and really cautiously walking in every room. The tests were pretty interesting and also that was a pretty clever implementation of the theme. The controls felt a little off at times and that 'audio glitch' was somehow annoying but that is not such a big complaint. Graphics were pretty decent, definitely setting the right tone for the game. In overall pretty good game and excellent on the horror scale, well done!
Hah, that is really an interesting idea and great executions! I mean the premise alone is pretty hilarious but you managed to make it also a pretty fun experience. Graphics are very pretty and general art style is really in my taste. Sound effects are pretty good and music also matches the atmosphere of the game. Very well done game guys, good job!
Ha, very clever game and neat execution. I like how you have to do the planting manually and you have to think how to use your tractor efficiently so you don't fall behind too much in the racing but also get enough profit from your crops. I like the minimalistic graphics and bit music, the only thing that is somehow annoying is that the tutorial is just wall of text, it would be much more approachable with in-game tutorial, but still it's not that big of complaint since the text is pretty short anyway. So in general pretty cool game, very good concept and fun to play.
Very good looking game, i like the minimalistic, low-poly look and the effective use of lightning. The gameplay is ok although the platforming is really hard, you have to try multiple times to proceed which makes talking to spirits a little annoying. Also you can get yourself stuck in object if you dash into it. But the concept itself is pretty cool and solving riddles is a neat idea for 3d platforming game mixed with item hunting.
Very neatly designed game! Concept is simplistic, intuitive and also very well executed. I like how you the game kinda forces you to lure enemies around to get as much 'blood coverage' on the painting as you can. Also if you want to get good accuracy % you have to be kinda close to enemies but not too close to get hit by them which really rewards player for using dodge mechanic. You also can't take too long since next waves are coming and if you have too many enemies then things can go really bad really quickly. Game also feels pretty polished, camera work is pretty nice (i like the zoom on the reloading) and little details like your heart gets more 'corpsy' the more damage you get. The graphics are okay, they have this lighthearted feel to them but i still think game could use more graphical details. Also audio is fine but there could be some more sound effects. Shame you didn't get time to implement rating system but still it's fun to try to get as good as you can since you can see the accuracy, painting and health while playing the level. In overall it's pretty fun game to play, cool gameplay and clever theme implementation, great job!
BTW @digitaldude555 i think you missed the arrows in main menu, there are multiple levels that you can play (different paintings)
Charming, little game! It's pretty sweet concept and decent execution. The mix of dating simulator and shooter is a nice concept but i think there should a lot of more messages so the shooting aspects is more fleshed out. Simple graphics and fun, cute music do match together and set nice atmosphere to the game. In overall it's fun, little game, could be more expanded but still pretty neat.
That's a very humorous concept of bicycle race with guns in wild wild west settings. Graphically game is pretty impressive although adding some projectiles while shooting would make shooting competitors more fun. The A D thing might get a little tedious after a while but then again, after all it's a race and stamina / endurance is a part of it ;). Also adding outlines on the 'tutorial text' would make it easier to read. In overall pretty fun game and congrats on your first LD, pretty impressive entry for a first one!
Ha, very well done and really funny! Really humorous dialogues and Trey's snarky comments. Graphics are amazing and i like how every room is in different colour, also animations are pretty neat. I did all the things on her list: long walks, disco dancing and... grabbing a bite which resulted in successful date, but is there a way for Trey to come out alive from that date? In overall really great game, great job!
That's an interesting mix of tower defense and sim-dating. At first it is really hectic but after while it stabilizes and you can pretty much exclusively focus on dating aspect of the game. I like how different 'enemies' need different approaches to 'conquer their hearts', also it's pretty humorous concepts. =
That was a pretty innovative game, and also pretty funny. Learning curve is a bit steep but after few minutes you get the grasp on things and TRY TO somehow progress in the maze. I really like how game forces you to prepare your 'engine routes' for future, it's always nice to have 'shoot cubes' nearby that you can activate with one block. Game is pretty challenging but also rewarding at the same time, with each try you get significantly better. I like the graphics and music, both set this nice lighthearted, goofy feel to the game. Well done!
