Hold down lower collective + forward makes for a nice podrace.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD36 → I'm not saying it's aliens...

Hold down lower collective + forward makes for a nice podrace.
Nicely done! It becomes quite boring after 3 minutes or so, but it's still nice.
Is there a goal in this game? Or just grabbing cubes?
there was supposed to be a goal, but I got too distracted with the "hologram" thingy :D
hmm. I wish I could see under by saucer.
Nice game world and landscape structure. Have little problem with the camera, but at the end I was able to build my pyramid. I missed a goal such as height of pyramid. The idea of pyramid were build by aliens is funny.
Nice models however not much to do in the game
The game is good, but give it a goal, and I believe it will be so much better. But thank you for making and sharing the game.
I like the holographic display but some camera control would be helpful too.
Nice concept!
Cool concept. After i broke the prebuild structure trying to add my little cube, i decided to collect some cube and visit the map. It was fun
the hardest part of building an alien pyramid is where you have to make curved faces lol ,fun!
Neat idea and execution. I like how you can see on the ufo glass part blocks that you can grab. Shame that there isn't some sort of assist when you place blocks on pyramid, for example if you drop block close enough to some spot it gets pulled into right position. BTW lowering ufo and just crashing your pyramid is also pretty entertaining :)
it was supposed to be there, Zeriver, but I got trapped in adding other goodies, some of them never finished and added.
I'm a bad saucer driver ^^.
It's fun, well done! The idea is surprising ;)
Congratulations!
Love UFO, I hope it rotates in the mid-air.
It could be more funny if you add some sound effect like big truck parking when moving a block;
Also you could add some tension by adding a timer to make player work faster, and make them put block to specified place each time.
Fun sandbox game, I personally kinda wished that the UFO would rotate with the mouse instead of using keys since that feels a little more natural. TBH if you added a bunch of random stuff to have fun with it could become a someone interesting sandbox game of just running around in a ufo and messing around with things kinda like goat simulator. All in all it has a lot of potential and i would recommend continuing it.
Now I know who build the pyramids :)
I had fun while playing with it.
The controls were kind of confusing I wasn't able to build anything, bumping into everything seemed more pleasing.
Wow, how'd you pull off that viewfinder on the UFO? That looks awesome.
Iseeicy, render to texture: texture is transparent, has no background alpha, and is set to draw only one layer.
Also, to have it always visible I have two viewports - one for whole game, and other to display the display (on top of normal viewport). This way nothing never obstructs the holo-display.
I also WASTED whole day fine-tuning camera movement and display zoom.
When I played the camera was far too close to the ship, that said, i could still play a bit. Nice mechanics and a fairly original idea.
it's a nice idea and the graphics are quite cool!
Though it would help if you could turn around at 360°, I could only look sideways so I destroyed the piramid while trying to place a cube ;)
