Audio 4/5. I can't give more as long as you're 'playing' snare instead of some melody :)

I like digging, I like digging, I like digging and I'd like to dig...
I'm still not sure if there are any codes or not...
I like it, it has a lot of potential.
Unix package seems contains windows executables.
Bummer, hope you'll upload post compo version one day :)
I need at least the list of dependencies. When trying to easy_install them one by one I get some strange errors.
CemeterySecretary.app.zip seems to contain only resources folder, with no app.
Works fine for me, but it could help if you gave the information on which version of java you made this game.
Green things look scary. I like oldschoolness of this one.
Please fix link to web version.
Hipster cat, crossed lava before it was cool.
Game may need some more instructions.
I can't turn around, can only look ~20 degrees left or right. After a while when trying to move I started to spin furiously...
Ok, where's the idea from? I mean the story.
I loved the details, I liked the style, but the story... Well, humor felt little forced, and I didn't felt like there's enough clues for anything.
I had to try few times, sometimes I couldn't connect free cord to the caller.
@43iscoding: Maybe there was some temporary outage? It's the cheapest hosting I could find, but I didn't notice any problems with it.
Yes, it was supposed to be past/future.
And no, they were not supposed to walk into the hedge :) I have no idea how they do that, because pathfinding algorithm tells me there's no way to do that...
I'll try to upload web version somewhere else.
Wow. So this is what löve looks like...
gorgeous
Mercury was terrible (music and the fact that it's basically Doom 2 boss, that I always hated :) ), but the game is pretty solid. Good job.
I hope you wouldn't mind if I cloned your game to mobiles (with some achievements, rpg elements and in app purchases) and become filthy rich :D
Looks very cool, but I had same problem as LTPATS - I pressed enter at begining of 3rd minigame, gibberish filled the screen and I wasn't able to solve it.
yay! I can rotate everything, burn everything. I can everything!
10/10 would not play skyrim ever again :D
So, potatos. Poland can into space now?
Hister-ish enough for me to like it ;)
Since game is more story driven than anything else, I'd like to see some more of this story. Especially since the end is sudden and unexpected.
It's possible to fall out of the area. Still extremely fun.
I guess you're perfectly aware that any indication of unit being selected would improve gameplay greatly :)
I wasn't able to finish it, because after some time (might be after some number of tanks built) framerate dropped to 1fps.
I'm not sure if I saw everything. Had to restart few times, because at first after "click to start" I had a freeze, and at seconds try I started at one of the endings. On third try I had one clicking even before the ending, not sure if that was intended.
(Kontregate build, mac, chrome)
Very solid, very self-contained. Great entry.
Unfortunately I had a bug that doesn't let me finish the game - sometimes thread does not change it's length unless you switch characters.
Nice idea, look like you little overshoot. But yo, that was ugliest onion I ever saw :D
I love the aesthetics but as for the gameplay, even after winning the game I'm not really sure how I did this, and how anything is supposed to work.
On Windows7/Chrome: Downloaded jar open splash screen then crashes, and web version never loads.
Error: Had to kill the process to exit the game.
Transport tycoon and vacuum of space. Two most sucking-in things in the universe in one game.
I tried for some time, but oil tanker going from oil planet to propellant factory never gave me any income, while filling planets production.
Looks nice, first elevator scene was a nice touch, but I wasn't able to finish it. I got the box from isle 48, but had no idea what to do afterwards. Also there was problem with mouse speed.
I love it. During last LD I tried to do a sea travel game myself, so I was waiting for you to upload this one.
It's not complete, yes, but the way the ferry bounces on the waves makes it very cool.
I forgot about one thing.
There's a hilarious bug: when you go under the deck, and try to go up the yellow ramp, whole ship rockets into the sky. I once flew up to another island.
I tried few times, but in tutorial I couldnt select anything, and few minutes later whole tab in chrome crashed. In main game, I couldnt create new units, and my castle was constantly losing health, so I lost before enemies even came close.
Someones been very literal with the theme :)
Tutorial is very nice touch
Wow. Graphics and sound are excellent.
Good luck with next LD. It's enough time to practice game and project planning (something I need to do myself)
Yes, this two media sources supplement each another perfectly
High score 5 :)
I thought I'll never hear midi music again :D
Crash when taking loot twice
That dance music... what's wrong with you? ;)
Hilarious. Did you know you can make new friends with this game? I'm talking about you #yoloswag - Bob
Nice style, maybe it could work with shooting sound being in chord with music?
It did lag terribly on my mac (chrome).
I liked your graphics, even though main character is dancing instead of running :)
The link is going to empty folder. I think it should go one step up, so "download zip" button would be available.
Opened the reactor, cubot told me it's a one way trip and I'm stuck...
Windows7 x64, audigy sound card. Just after the dream starts, sound gets looped on one "frame" and game crashes seconds later.
Wow. Very solid, very clean.
One problem I had was with my controller (non xbone) - it detects it, and axes are working, but any button crashes the game.
BEST GAME EVER! SO INSPIRING!
Hi, I've added linux build to my game as you suggested :)
@DaRaziel: Unfortunately I flunked with lights-out before door shows up. It looks like it switches to another screen, while it does not.
Good game. Would use sounds on finished actions though.
I guess love2d is the reason it has so little ratings.
For next LD please provide executables, which in love2d very fast and easy process: https://love2d.org/wiki/Game_Distribution
This game is so random :)
I'm gonna save your description and keep it on my computer forever.
Great idea, although pong is too difficult and too random imho.
Good idea, but when then actions starts it's impossible to shoot.
Game should get harder over time. After 20 minutes of keeping spacebar pressed, nothing changed (well, on the side note I spent 20 minutes checking that).
Minimalistic heavy beat fits this game well, but blob shooting sound does not.
Music is playing and nothing more happens...
Download version works, online is wrong, I guess media files were outside of unity resources folder (I made the same mistake once).
Any kind of instructiosn would be nice, but I started digging, then got teleported back, then I git the ground, bounced and everything froze...
Maybe the game would be a little more enjoyable, if not for the controls, that rendered the game unplayable for me.
Fun idea, although stats/costs should be redone. First pop up has 90% chance to do nothing.
Great. I love the fact that every type of the enemy behaves differently. Fluid movement and real time shadows that dont need to be in there just add to the feeling.
Yay! So what you can tell us about this charming moose lady?
Fidel is the only one you can count on :)
YOU NEED CHROME FOR IT TO WORK
Santa vs Elves ? - sir, you failed here, it was supposed to be a ☃
Interesting idea, but I'm afraid this "game exits after you fail" concept should be used on something else than repetetive arcade game.
Damn, got eaten at 6:59 AM
This game is positively sick.
Love the idea, although I find it ironic that I'd need a social network profile to play a game called Antisocial :D
Once a cat that ate one memory stick showed up, it was no end to them XD
<3<3<3
Nice idea, but it's outrageous that I had to look into the source code, to figure out how to use allocate command properly.
ok, sorry. "outrageous" is bit too much.
I tried running the source from blender, but unfortunately with no luck.
Nice. Polished and looks complete.
it a RAMPAGE !!!
Oh my, this game is surprisingly fun :D
Too bad that it's still hardly playable, but graphics are really good.
You know what that game needs? Snowman should melt in the setting sun :)
Wow, I like that idea.
The fact that this game if more or less finished is amazing too.
As I decided it's an endless loop and there's no need to be so sneaky, boss arena started showing up. When boss spawned, I had 1 point of life...
On the side note, care to share how did you use web player with XNA game?
Ok, looking at the quality of your work, I'm starting to think that maybe, just maybe, we need another jam category for group work :P
Gosh, this game is fantastic! (even though orbital laser cannon is not so unconventional in video games) Graphics, sound, idea... You already know that and you're darn well proud of yourselves.
My only problem (I'm sure that's not the word I was looking for) is that * is a button for skipping recorded message, not repeating it :)
Changed it to x86 build :)
Well, the plan was to make a level with actual goal, but time constrains made me move into arena style one
I'm not sure if AI even plays, they didn't do anything more than hand passing, but still. I'd gladly play Animal Jousting as a real card game. Think of print on demand version, really.
Wow, just wow.
Loved the way you tell the stories - few sentences and player is completely immersed. I read your post and I'm impressed in how you're planning how you're going to lead the player.
But when it comes to the message, the fact that everything stops after the hit makes it a commercial, (cheap and according to buzzfeed "powerful one") not a game. And it's not like I'll stop drunkingly beating my wife just because I played a 5 minutes game.
I really need a sprite of main character throwing a table. This face was hillarious.
@zwartraider thanks XD
Now this is addicting!
Clever game with great retro feel. My only problem is, it's far too easy to hit yourself. Maybe grabbed stuff should be thrown away from your ship, without direction control?
Nice art style and great idea. I'd "only" like to see more musical gameplay, something bit-trip like, because right now it feels like a tutorial.
I think there should be some way to see at least hints of what emotions the crows has at the moment. From what I understand, throwing bottles is a mixture of rage fear and sorrow, and as such it's hard, or impossible to tell what to do to make them stop (apart from killing them).
Why most moody games in LD always have to be unfinished? Oh, I know - 48 hours...
Looks like you have a solid team, and nice ideas, so I hope to see more more-finished games of yours.
Win 8.1 x64, 8GB ram, crash.
About this "awesome retro soundtrack": imho it's overbassed. You should apply high pass filter to reduce sub-bass and apply some brightness, o make it more like low pad than woofershaker it is now :)
All my FUN was killed by most terrible controls ever :) (it might be my fault that I play games on PC without console peripherals though)
One thing that bothered me was alarm sound when you're inside the time bubble - it should speed up, not slow down.
Technical note: since unity 5 was released, even in free edition you can create navigational meshes, so your AI does not walk into walls. Oh, and it seems that you forgot to loop the music - I had to go away and when I got back, music was gone.
I looked at your previous games and well... you might have a bird problem.
I loved the art style, and overall level design - giant, not so subtle block with game title was a nice touch.
I wonder what's legal status of remixing Justing Bieber in compo game?
This music, by being so disconnected from the game, is really disturbing :)
As for the background graphics - I like them.
But about main part, the gun: does it do anything else than being part of the story? I'd like zombie fetuses to move around a little.
Quite original. Water flow might have been a little faster, as it's irritating to wait two minutes (first drain level) to see that it won't go further.
A nicely finished game. Good idea, but with current car mechanics, it's more like "Flail Asteroids" :)
And to think you still had time to make an intro comic...
Not sure about the theme (I guess you can say main character is a weapon, but it's quite far fetched), but the graphics... until I played the game, I was sure by the screenshots that this are pre-rendered graphics. Good job.
Ok, beat-em-up is not very innovative gengre, but again this idea. Now this IS something new. I had problems getting past second group of enemies, but it might just be me. Do I understand correctly that policeman waits for you to show your junk?
Nice way of putting credits into game :)
Guess there's not much to do after killing few enemies, but ingame tutorial was made very well, and it is something that more games should have (unless game requires you to find out its meaning, of course)
Looks like you've made the very same mistake as I did, and created level with mesh blocks in unity editor, killing all the performance :(
Good graphics (say cheers to your missus), and great idea. Too bad it's not complete - I'd really love to play an action bowling game.
Since afaik this are the only objects that can destroy UFOs, it'd be cooler to name this game "FridgeGun" :)
PS. Obligatory "It's much better to just zip the game, than to make an installer" comment.
That's sneaky way to make people play post-compo version, embedding it and hiding original one below :)
Anyways that is wacky, and I loved the fact that you added some different backgrounds. I'm not sure if it was possible to lose this one.
OMG, this game is fantastic. I only got to second level, saw the spike maze and decided to finish this game session, but still, this is very solid work.
It's not really a game, is it?
But still, you sir might have just shown me the way. You see - I'm an audio, let's say hobbyst, and I'm always so taken over the gamedev, that I leave audio department out. Maybe this is the way - to use free assets and fiddle around with sound.
Nice graphical style.
While idea is neat, right now it's enough to fly at max speed around the first ship to be safe an lure enemies.
Great game. Could get some rebalancing, but it was made in a weekend :)
I for once liked the controls - it makes piloting non-routine.
Not scoring, as I can't play it (multiplayer, duh), but this scenery... OMG it's lovely. And ability to see my hands and legs? Mega-Awesome.
It's awesome that this game feels so finished and complete. But personally, I didn't really liked it, mainly because I don't feel "do your boring job" gengre.
Winning the game freezes the application on mac.
ps. Great tunes.
well thought out and complete. I like it.
Hedgehog was my favourite (the sound I mean) :)
Nice twist on a theme. I'm not into twine games, as I don't consider them games at all, and it also applies to yours, but writing was so good I restarted to try another route.
PS. Thanks for telling me about windows link to of my game, I've got it fixed.
Wow. Creepy. One problem I had was with the camera - it's possible to have whole view blocked by the wall.
Addicting
Too difficult for me :). Enemies are too fast, and it would be better if there was an indication that enemy noms you from behind.
Cute and really polished. You surprised me with upgrades.
In HTML5 version, I was unable to move. Downloaded one (Mac) works OK.
With just one objective, the game does not give you any challenge - with two or three objectives (another well, a statue, something), it would be a completely different beast.
Thank you for your excellent leadership, CEO.
Oh my deity, this is soooo good. Even invisible walls that kill you if you follow the river didn't spoil it.
But I must ask, is there more than one ending (with dying being the second) of course) ?
Nice idea for the boss, although I'm not sure what it had to do with heroes hate for halloween :)
Loved the art, but that Tardis is from another fairy tale, iirc.
Not sure if HELP screen was supposed to work, but on mac it doesn't show up, and it breaks the mouse click.
Wow, this is difficult.
You made a totes great game. Congratulations on that.
Oh my deity, this timelapse. Awesome.
I've rated based off video.
People should really chill the eff out - LD is supposed to be for you, not for others, and you did enough providing the video.
Wow. Can't remember when was the list time I saw pinball.
Now that is pleasing. I'd love to make this kind of games when I'm dried :D
It is extreme. It is awesome.
Snowball moves in strange way, but it doesn't matter, bacause game is great.
Nice idea. "on rails" movement isn't something you see a lot nowadays.
I had to read the comments to find out about split timelines (I know it was in the instructions, but somehow I didn't notice it). Good that it wasn't really needed.
I loved the graphics, I loved that sound and I loved the atmosphere of it, but I don't know how to play this one at all! *reads the comments* But it looks like it's only me.
This game is one that raises the violence :) So difficult.
Short, but has potential to grow.
Great entry.
Don't know why, but I loved the animation of the autocannon turret - this recoil was cute.
And the music's great. Reminds me of, I think it was Interstellar. It has the feel of forced epicness, but it's not a bad thing in this case. It adds to your mood rating :)
HTML5 version is imported incorrectly (you need to host all files from the output folder, html file is just to display them), and I cannot run OSX version (no error, just information that file cannot be opened).
You lied to me! You sneaky bastard :D
I'm unable to get past "gotta go fast". Would be easier if mouse cursor didn't disappear after few seconds into level, and I'm not sure how it makes for a feature. Regardless, biggest problem I see is the theme. Not sure which one it's supposed to represent.
It'd be better if pickups spawned the way it was possible to catch them, because in most cases they were too far away. Other than that, it's great, and I love the graphics. Very 90's SEGA'esque.
While I didn't like the gameplay itself it all looks and feels... wow. And sounds wow as well. Good job.
22. Your game is lovely.
Too bad it's still possible to break it, but wow, that was great.
Solid game. Maybe little too difficult.
Strange little thing. Cute.
Lacks a goal, but game is well done, and it could be easily fixed by removing the enemy-sheep respawn (with a goal to be the only sheep around).
As for the gameplay, I think it was too "abstract". Go right, click, go left, click, repeat. Believe it does something. Hey! Maybe it was supposed to be some kind of commentary? :)
Regardless, it's complete, has a working goal, means to lose and nice graphics.
Music was terrible and too loud :D
This was crazy. Lovely animation.
Poor ogre, boy's too tall.
Clean and solid game. Good job. Add a "mute music" option and you can release it on mobile ;)
Any chance for original, but uploaded to something that isn't itch/gamejolt?
...lack of edit hurts.
Because new version lacks mac/linux build.
Pretty.
nice. upgrade bench is hidden a little too well ;)
there was supposed to be a goal, but I got too distracted with the "hologram" thingy :D
it was supposed to be there, Zeriver, but I got trapped in adding other goodies, some of them never finished and added.
Iseeicy, render to texture: texture is transparent, has no background alpha, and is set to draw only one layer.
Also, to have it always visible I have two viewports - one for whole game, and other to display the display (on top of normal viewport). This way nothing never obstructs the holo-display.
I also WASTED whole day fine-tuning camera movement and display zoom.
Thanks for including both keyboard and mouse control.
Too bad it's mute. In this kind of creepy-pasta game distorted sound is a must. Looks good as an experiment with new aestetics though.
Interesting idea, but it's as disappointing as no man's sky :P
It appears that almost everything you create can be climbed on, and tall enough to escape.
Crazy. Crazy fun. But almost every single green cube slid off it's conveyor belt.
Wow, nice. My only problem was "auto aim" tried to lock to enemies behind me, if those in front of me were moving towards me.
Still, it's a solid arcade game.
I love the title, but are you sure you just want to "hit" a troll? IIRC, just hitting would annoy the troll and correct command was "kill" :D
I know it's not easy writing a parser in unity (I don't know it tbh, but I guess), but I think n s e w commands were supported in adventure-like games even before full commands were added.
Also wow, music used in kerbal :)
...and I"m stuck at cats. It'd be good to LOOK and be able to re-read the description.
Fun idea. The "winding" detection should probably be a little more forgiving.
Fun game, but completely FAKE!
My game has proven that it was impossible for aliens to build the pyramids without external help (I'm not saying it was Egyptians...)
Sphynx' head get's stuck on the ufo :)
wow, great self contained game. Add some sound effects and it's ready for release :)
Wow. I love the graphics and atmosphere - big pixels ftw!
Puzzles not so much, but it's not something to be done in 48 hours.
I'm crap at detective stories, so I won't make guesses (other than Mr shooting his Missus and her friend from the kitchen), but still:
I LOVE narration in this one. The behining (title should probably disapper after you enter the house, though), music, and even hte hidden credits.
Good job, maybe you should try making more vignettes at this one.
Did people really call those support lines? Somehow I never did, and I don't remember anybody calling them either, but maybe that was the perk of living in area getting them games with slight delay (walkthroughs were already in magazines before you could get the game).
Nice. "Gravity" was fun effect. One thing I'd add is some kind of info that "there's nothing more to do, go away" after you find transmiters :)
Cool game. Tell me, did you waste much time when trying to get patchcords animated, or were you wiser than me and did not work on a lost case? ;)
Oh wow, now that is great. To unlock it's full potential it'd require some enemies and it should be possible to mess something up, but those are things needed to make it more awesome.
Interesting idea, but I was unable to get throught the second screen - two long platform gaps could be possible to jump over if there was something to launch from.
Also, sound is super, super quiet.
I don't know much about poetic stuff, but I liked both art and music ;)
Woah, nice one. Really addictive. Can't play v0 (no win64 at hand) so I had to ignore the graphics.
oh man, I'm hoping for some gameplay video of this one...
TBF I didn't check post-compo version, but for a clicker it's too slow / lacks feedback. Still idea is grand, and graphics cute.
Nice one. Took me a while to realise it's one room. (and then I fell into the floor and got stuck)
Damn you, silo doors!
looks like all three links go to windows version
Solid mechanics, and graduated difficulty/features. I like it. Solid 5/7
Not Now
