LD26 — Minimalism

Stranded by vico87 2013-04-29T19:58:00

It was an interesting game and I was enjoying it, and then it took a really sudden turn that I didn't much understand? After going to the playground. I think it could have done with potential other endings.
I also got an IndexOutOfRangeException with the command "go" which didn't seem to have any use anyway? Also, if you try to "take" something too early, you get a null exception.

A good game and a good concept :) I wasn't really interested the first few levels but then they started getting a little harder every time until I was stumped. Then it became much more fun and I couldn't stop!

My suggestions are having it so the shapes show up where the cursor is, it felt awkward having them appear out of place. And also working in some way so that people aren't tempted to just spam shapes, as I was. The goal is a nice way of doing this, but maybe incorporate it more? Like, if you get it in the minimum number of clicks you get three stars, if you get it in less, two stars, one star and finally to the point where you can't continue if you just spam mouse clicks.

Triangle Force by HeiShun 2013-04-29T20:42:00

It's a very interesting concept and I like the idea of having to throw yourself in front of green bullets as a red triangle to save the elder, but it starts off very difficult, in my opinion. I didn't last long. Maybe I'm just bad at games :P Needs some tweaking, ramping up to higher difficulty as the game goes on. The music was good, I liked it and it fit well to the gameplay/story.

MONO by timtipgames 2013-04-29T19:40:00

Okay, this game was amazing. The graphics were simple but very effective, the music was a great touch, the sound effects were extremely well done and very fitting to the theme and the game. Overall, a really good job.

MONO by timtipgames 2013-04-29T19:45:00

One last thing, I saw someone else mention it as well, the menu sounds and the end level sounds were a little harsh compared to the rest of the sound/music. Wearing headphones, they were a bit shrill. But only those two sounds, the rest fit perfectly.

Left vs. Right by Canobie 2013-04-29T20:06:00

Cool game, had me stumped a couple times, but once I started winning it became fairly easy. As Ludipe said, some way of seeing where the computer moved would be nice. Or the option of different board sizes? I'm just thinking of other ways you could expand on this idea. For the simplicity of it though, it's a pretty decent game.

CubeSpace by srgezu 2013-05-16T11:46:00

Very simple, but it fits the theme well and is a fairly fun game. It gets old fast though and could use some touching up. A couple times the only reason I died was because an enemy spawned on top of me.

Good game :) I didn't like that the ball moved as you placed blocks, perhaps right click could be used for placing blocks so it doesn't affect the ball? Otherwise, cool game and fun to play.

Okay, I really enjoyed this game. The music was great, the sound effects were good, the concept, I found, was hilarious and I enjoyed it so much. And then I was a little disappointed when I thought there was so little to it and then suddenly I was in a town and the game kept going and there was an ending and everything :p Made my day, a fun game.

I think you have the beginnings of a good game and great graphics/lighting, but there's just no content right now. And the level design could use some work, I did nothing with the boxes and finished quite easily. Needs polishing, but a good concept, I liked it.

ProductionVille by Blinked 2013-05-04T00:00:00

It was interesting game, but I think it needed more time. It was running slow and was difficult to navigate. Once I got the hang of the controls and menus, it became a little better but I felt like it needed to be more... dynamic?

LD30 — Connected Worlds

Heart Star by AdventureIslands 2014-08-27T22:23:00

A very fun and cute game :)

Yggdrasil by stevens_studio 2014-08-26T13:32:00

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the game, the music fit well and although it wasn't much more than just a long walk, it put me in a good mood. It'd be cool to see this get finished up a bit more.

Gargoyle Abyss by imaginarymonsters 2014-08-26T13:44:00

I had the same problem with chrome as other people seem to be having. Played it in Safari though and really loved the art. I would have loved to see more done with it, but it was nice for what it was. I understand the time constraints, I had the same issue and did not manage to do nearly as much :P

Fuel Runner by RobotFriend 2014-08-26T13:52:00

I liked this a lot :) First off, the explosion was brilliant :P The biker and astronaut were very nice as well, good graphics. The sound effects, I enjoyed, background music would have been nice though, it gets a bit repetitive. Very interesting idea with the gravity changing half way through, that was not expected :) Moving from one side of the screen to the other could use some cleaning up, but otherwise, everything seemed to work how it was supposed to.

Over and Under by Joseph Roque 2014-08-26T13:25:00

I updated the link, so people should be looking for "Over and Under.jar" and edited the description.
And yeah, I knew his walk was a bit silly, but I had worked too long on it and decided to just leave him in the end :P
