Thanks all. Sorry about the Chrome situation. Still figuring out the subtleties of publishing web builds from Game Maker. Runs o.k. in Safari, Firefox, and IE (I've heard) in the meantime. I'll look into uploading a desktop version too.
Thanks everybody! I definitely want to add more to this (though obviously not for LD30). I spent most of my time trying to make the gargoyle animations fun, then wound up with less time to expand the actual game : p lessons learned though!
@Polona – great thought on the Euro keyboard support! If I did up for jumping like @zatyka suggested controls could be arrows to move, space to fire.
@GraveyardPolice - thanks dude. The jump up state is just a single frame right now. Looking at it again it would probably work better as a wing flap down and hold on the final down frame. Good to take note of.
Anybody have any experience making html5 builds from Game Maker and having them not run proper? I'm going to google around to see if there's some noob setting I'm missing.

I think I was able to dash during the menu and find my way out of bounds / fall off the world. Either way, really cool! I love the black particle waves surrounding the player.
Good stuff...nice sprites and animation!
Seems like toggling between soul-getting and normal forms leaves you kind of vulnerable in the middle of a mob. Maybe an invincibility cool down after dashing and more of an invincibility timer between being able to get hit. Or more health? Either way still cool!

I like all the different abilities you set up. A little bit of a learning curve but it has the essence of a cool local-multi game. Definitely "hyper" soccer!
Pretty cool progression in this and the different ship classes are nice. The Sentinel missile firing has a really good feel to it, especially once I got 'x2' firing...great work!
Good start on a cool puzzle platformer. There's something cool to rotating the box and then jumping up the wall instead of going down to the floor that would be really need to develop more on.
This is really fun as is. Something about it really reminds me of crane prize machine games. Great work!

Pretty fun. Some odd things happen when I can run up the wall of a low platform and it turns into a pretty high jump. Has some wonky charm regardless.
