good job for first game!

papacheech 2014-08-25 01:07

nice job dude! loving the song

ultravisitor 2014-08-25 01:22

At first I could not figure out how to get by the cars and then I read your description and I was able to get to the frog princess. I did not know that people build frog tunnels. I hope they can figure it out too.

wesleyjohnson 2014-08-25 01:29

Good first try. The music is great!

thecoder15 2014-08-25 01:44

nice work

inukoblainc 2014-08-25 02:02

nice for a first game, Lots of bugs, and no win screen :(

yanthir 2014-08-25 02:03

Noy bad for a newbie coder! Really proud of you pal :D

pinion 2014-08-25 02:04

I liked how I had to figure out the tunnel was there from your informative description.

At first I thought the game was a commentary on how frogs could never cross roads without dying.

tjp7154 2014-08-25 02:31

Wow. I love the background artwork for this game! I like your "don't get squished" path under the cars! Great job!

Obviously simple (like my entry), but a good start.

superjoe 2014-08-25 03:22

Cool, you pulled off a simple game. Not bad for someone who learned programming for ludum dare.

seraphicmedia 2014-08-25 04:09

Nice job! I like that it was a different take on the theme

2014-08-25 05:11

this game is pretty bad lol.

mrexcessive 2014-08-25 09:09

Good job for no programming. Love the frog and backgrounds. After trying to bounce a car into submission - tiny car right ! - Screen was washed over in 95% opaque white but otherwise game restarted... could (just about) see frog but not really.

jnyknn 2014-08-25 15:18

Interesting graphical style.

mutuware 2014-08-25 18:45

Nice music.

psychomonster 2014-08-25 19:27

Nice idea, funny sounds nice little frog... But I'm a noob... I didn't paa a single car :) May you should polish the collision events more precisely... good work. Nice liitle game...

imaginarymonsters 2014-08-25 19:33

This is a good frog's game.

zyxer 2014-08-28 12:48

After what feels like 50 tries to cross the road, I finally found the passage below...

I like how you made a puzzle game disguised as a platformer.

xrm0 2014-08-29 11:00

Nice.
Sometimes after dying the screen would get a bit whiter.

geeitsomelaldy 2014-08-29 12:20

Good first try. Music's really good.

tanser 2014-08-31 10:49

Nice game :)

andrewshouldice 2014-08-31 13:51

This is really good. The frustration of the road, and the catharsis of getting past it is well done. Great job on your first project!

kibertoad 2014-08-31 14:05

Tried to tackle the challenge of overrunning and overjumping the cars, but it doesn't seems to be possible. Tunnel shortcut obviously helped.

I enjoyed music and especially art of the game, it had pretty distinct feel to it.

jpmit 2014-08-31 14:12

Well done. Keep improving your programming skills and in a few years you will win LD.

munkeebacon 2014-08-31 15:46

not bad for a first game

rd127p77 2014-08-31 16:12

This is not perfect, lots of bugs, but for someone who had no previous programming experience it is pretty good. Definitely worth to keep working on it to learn and improve your skills.

kojan 2014-08-31 16:23

For a first try it's great !
It's a little buggy, especially with the collisions. But this a common problem that you will get rid of ;)
Practice a little bit and your next entry will be awesome :D

pjimmy 2014-08-31 16:25

I like your take on the theme, well done

jukimv1986 2014-08-31 23:06

Weird game but amazing results for a first timer into Ludum Dare and coding itself!! There are a few bugs here and there, like the graphical effect that stays after getting killed by a car. Good job nonetheless!

nooner-bear 2014-08-31 23:09

I suppose "weird" is the best word for this game. I did however have an issue with the screen staying white. Good work for having no programming experience. Its interesting to see you put research into your game's theme!
