planed to put three diffrent types of enemy... but time ran out so quickly... this is why the remix of pixel art and particle fx... next time i know better how to use the time :D

yeah sorry for that non-alternative-controller-setting, time ran out so quickly :p... touch pad is really bad... But many other trippleA-Titles are requiring mouse too... a Laptop without an external mouse is not constructed for playing games ^^

Artwork is fine. I like this game because I watched the timelapse too... I gives me the feeling of hard work for the finished game. After playing I can say it is hard to understand the controlls, but after a while it is really fun to play :D Played this game 10 times longer than other games... because of... I don't know!

It is part of the gameplay that the counter is not visible... you have to count by your self :) I thought I wrote it to the instrzctions :)

My thoughts was, that to count by your self will take some brain capacity, so that simple commands like jump left or puke this enemy will take some more extra brain power ^^

@futuristteletex :D It's no secret... yeah Jack is heavily inspired by the pixelart galerie http://www.andysowards.com/blog/2011/100-8-bit-design-inspiration-%E2%80%93-illustration-pixel-art-web-design-more-retro-nostalgia/ ... but there is no copy and paste... I did it myself ;) with diffrent hair, beard and glases :) Animation too :D

Nice character. Level design is super... after a short time of orientation the double jump and wall jump worked fine for me. Enjoyed to learn about how to resolve a conflict in a git ^^

Roundhouse kick will not kill a zombie... couse you are not Chuck Norris in this game... the kick will stun a zombie for 3 Seconds ^^... kk should have made some hit indicator... next time ;)

As described in the submission: Apples are needed to to fill the apple boxes... to remove them ^^ I know really abstract ^^ The Roundhouse will not kill a Zombie, cause you are not Chuck Norris ;) It will stun a zombie for 3 Seconds. I see, I have to implement a visual indicator for that stunFX.

@hexagore: Haha the gaps in the obstacles are exact as big as the player sprite ;) So stepping movement is way easier as a mouse movement or a pixel based movement in generell ; Thanks for Playing and rating :)

This is awesome... The PixelArt is the best I've seen so far this ld... The VoiceActor is a super feature, it brings depth to the story. Some obstacles are a little buggy (the ones where you jump upward from rock to rock.. the ones on the left side) ... Nice ship design. After I failed playing cause I was using firefox .After I started it with Chrome I was able toplay it. The controlls are not very easy, but this is surly part of the game. Cause it's not easy to connect them all. Cool that there is a random map generator :) the IntroText is so funny.. enjoyed it... maybe you will provide a post ld of it ^^

After a long time of trying to find out, how to dodge the obstacles between ;) I discovered the way to play this game. i used the arrows left and right to activate the controlls? Then you can increase the speeed by pushing right arrow kay and degreasing spped with left key... with up and down I was able to altitude to avoid the obstacles... i passed level three through a mirror. I like the Story and the idea of having a band between to human love each other. Nice idea... controlls need to be polished in some way. Thanks for your entry.

Hi Lokiman. I'm sorry there is no OSX version in the pipe (I'm not willing to buy a osx-exporter for Gamemmaker + buying a dev-licence for Mac-Dev-Acc)... I tried to fix the html5-Problems but the problem cannot be solved... So you have to use the win version :(

I love games with random generated levels. To have a not solveable situation is okay for me, cause its a prototype. Runned it on Ubuntu Firefox, game speed was not as bad as expected. But I like games where you know that the developer was thinking about complex rules... +1 for that. A really nice idea... such as a flappy bird... its hard and it is challengin... +1 for challenge... But it seems like, there are some situations where the game have unfair positioning of the obstacles... so if you have passed a gap at the left and the next gap is at the other side of the screen... maybe you should polish the gameplay a little bit and make a post-compo version... I think it could be a good app-store game... Good job

@cerno_b There is a bug with the spiders... you can drill them without negative fx if you are in the same line as the spider... you only will gain a negative score!
@spud same problem as my wifes gameplay experiences ... If you missed a colored block you're game over too... also you'll die, if you hit a colored block with the wrong tool equiped :)

Nice chicken... It was really cute to see it running an floating ... good mechanics, good state of polishment... are the coins good for something? The pixelart is really nicely done, some fx are too heavy in my eyes... maybe the bloom should be reduced by 25% if that is possible... the night level was fun... but the traps were hard to recognize... but all in all are very good start into ludumdare !

Brainfucking game... nice first level... it shows all the mechanics and how to play the game :) But then the second level fucked my brain... I had two beers with friends and I cannot keep my mind uo... i build the first two row like i want them to have... but then i must move one piece down in one of the dashes and everthing is destroyed... I love those games... I like puzzles... but you really need a beer mode... for people like me ;) Or some more of the beginners levels :) Really good designed puzzle games... nice use of the theme... A very nice game. I like the idea of having three weapons and you must find out wich obne is best against wich enemy. Nice gamplay. The Update-System is very nice but a little to complicated to handle while fighting the waves... you should reduce the amount of clicks to upgrade your sentinel. A very good job. I had a bug so when i hit the retry button, there was no waves to start... had to restart the entire game :)

I do it the same way if such an intruder approaches in my appartment :) I fear spider to death :D Great artwork, very good use of the theme. The musik is thrilling but a little loud.... but maybe this is because of my (new) awesome Senheiser Headphones :D If you would give the giant boot a shadow it would be much much easier to hit that spider... or did i miss an indicator. I say it because it is damn hard to hit that creepy fast spider thing. Good job!

@knatt yes the hitboxes were very over the top. I totally missed the point in the polishing phase. The wall-damage has at least 1% dmg but it gets extra dmg regarding the velocity. Maybe also a bad design decision cause it took also a lot of time to create the dmg system this way. Thx for playing
Best looking game so far. Played to the second level. Nice mechanics to activate doors and drones. Very good. I laughed a lot with the sound of opening doors. Very good.
The game is a hell of bullets :) Very good that there is a two player mode. Also volume controll. Very nice. I lags a bit of hit-feedback at an enemy, but overall ver fun.
SYou should invest more time to craete a better presentation for your game. Pls add screenshot, write a little more text. I totally look into such invisible games, cause I'm excited what gems there may be hidden. But you could collect much more positive feedback if you would feed the eye of your players :)

Hehe, as I read your "thank you" screen in the beginning in was sure, this game needs to be played. I liked a lot, that you had a story line and have story choices. Nice. The fact that you can only shoot into 4 directions was a bit tricky to handle, but yes... this is the problem with all the space-ship prototypes theese days :=

Cool. Thats a cool simulation like game. I needed some time to understand how to use the machines and so on, but I really like the mood and idea. A bit of soundFX were missing, but at least it had some background music

Best game so far. I looks so good and it has optically so much to offer. For me it was a little too dark in some spots. Also I got stuck, cause i thrw my stone into a spot i could not reach it again, cause the enemies blocked me. Hope you get a lot positive feedback. Have a good time!

I guess I'm not skilled enough to swim in a straight way :) I laughed a lot, cause it was so funny to try it out. I totally now what you meant with the controls but I could not manage it :D Maybe a little more polishing could make a very interessting game out of it.
Hi. I liked it play. Good gfx nice theme. A bit liminal. I managed it to reach lvl23 but i did not get it how to solve the problem with the plate. Nevertheless good game, it was well done for a 48h game.
Hey man... Your game is much better than I thought when I saw you presentation of it. It is way too good. You need screenshots and a better text and more love. I totally look into games that have no visual indication of beeing a good entry for a jam, cause a lot of them are hbidden gems. Pls add more love to the presentation next time. I think it is one of the most unique ideas I had played in this LD so far. But I'm not as good playing rythm games ... :D But I got the Idea and everything looks well designed. Good work!
Everything is better with sound :) The game gfx is really good. But in the small window I did not see that a lot of enemies were right behind me. There was not really an indicator that something hit me. I liked a lot how you used light and darkness. Good mood. I love Godot. ExtraPoint for this :)
Nice. You totally made me happy with the sound volume settings. Not all people think about this core details. But nevertheless your game made me also happpy, cause it playes very polished and I like how inplemnted the level evolving. Nice mix from tower defense and Peggle. Good joB!
I loved mine sweeper. I played it in school when out IT-Teacher tried to tell us, how an MS-Access-Database is working. It was so boring. I killed so many leassons playing mine-sweeper. I totally love the idea of playing it 3D. The GFX-Design is minimal and clean, very polihed. Thx. This game is on the List for later review (Top 20). Have a good time and many other good reviews.

SO good! I like it a lot, that it has a campaign and a endless mode... It also has settings for audio. Absolotely insane musoc and a vacuum clean as a bonus weapon. ;D Thanks a lot, good work.

Funny game, well polished movement. Also the dynamic change of scale is very nice. Teleporter is cool and the Leveldesign is smart, but the player needs to learn the machanics and therfore the first level is very early way to hard. But overall a great piece od work!

Great game. It has bulletTime, more than one enemy and a well polished gameplay. Nice. The monsters are a little hard to hit. I had this rocket launcher an thought it would deal splash dmg like in quake or something like that.. it made the game more challenging this way. Good stuff, had a lot of fun playing it

Nice Game. I tried to play it in the Browser and when I want to retry, it crashes at some point right after you get the "helping hand" ;) I totally get what you wanted to show and really like the crazy idea.

Ohh no. I cannot play it. In the ld-page my unity-pluging does not load the game and on itch there is an 404 :( I was so prepared for the worst and know I cannot enjoy the worst i was so prepared for :id: Will look into it later :)
Hey the game looks very good. I managed it to get to the second floor, but I'm not sure if I play it right. There is a doom enemy guy and it does not react to me... even when i shoot at him.. is there a sound for shooting? Very good mood.
Great idea, good mood and a very fine artstyle. For me it was way to dark, i could not really find everything. Only one tape. But I liked it a lot, cause controls worked fine.

Super fun core loop – once it clicked, I was hooked. Loved pulling off those broken builds (had one where kills kept refreshing skills, felt illegal 😂). UI was a bit wonky on my setup (some text off-screen, no idea how many turns I had left lol), and the balance goes from "survival horror" to "god mode" kinda fast. Still, crazy impressive for a jam game – would totally keep playing if it went beyond 100!

I tried to play it on the ipad…. works fine this such a cool game. I played it long… have about 200 workers, but i cant find any iron. Is there something i have overseen?
Played it again... no... still playing it on itch.io. Have a Score of 604 at the moment. This game is my personal winner in this LD. Wow so addicting. Sound is broken at some time when too many worker do their jobs. Very nice!
This was fun. A little too loud, but it waked me up. A good feeling of speed, good gameplay at all, it fits the theme. I would like to have more fx when you collect or collide with something, and maybe better visible object overall, But I liked to play it.
Hi, the sound was shockinly loud, so now I was wake enough to find a coin. But I could not get it. Did I miss something? I hope you'll have more time to use for a ludum dare as you had for this one. Quiete a good result for only 10h.
