Oh, that's an obvious bug. I got around that by avoiding 1-tile-high passes in game. Anyways, just make sure to shoot your way 2-blocks high, or don't jump in such places, sorry :(

I know, I know! But it's meant to be this way! The thugs seem more intelligent than walking a straight line. Also, since the level is wider than taller it makes them nearly always walk diagonally then horizontally and makes all the action more visible this way!
