really fun! great feel to the platforming, I think the only thing I'd like to add is checkpoints so if you die you don't have to restart the entire thing. after 3 goes getting quite far (I think) I gave up when I died again

enjoyed this a lot! I think it's a great plan to have a very simple game mechanic and spend your effort creating a big and diverse play area like this to explore. the silouette gives you enough of an idea about the level and what things are, but it's nice and easy to create too. very clever

I think mixing health and checkpoints like that is a bit weird. health should refil when respawning- I don't know why I should get a game over when running out of hearts vs just respawning for falling off a building.. it makes falling off preferable to being hit, which I think is the wrong way round. anyway, it was pretty good fun :)

oh, on a small note: I think putting a hole right after the speedup powerup is pretty cruel!

great concept, a little frustrating to play (i just wanted to reach into the screen and strangle the damn fish as it swims the wrong way).. great music. Overall despite the frustration very enjoyable to beat

on of the best art styles in the compo.. really friggin cool to look at. My only gripe is sometimes telling the difference in a hurry between mines and switches is tricky (and you really don't want to make that mistake!). I'd have made switches bright green or something

good fun! I found it really difficult though, especially with the thruster damage mechanic. I couldn't escape!

the damage is a great idea, I just wish it didn't cripple you *as* much, since I'm really clumsy and impatient I hit a lot of stuff :D

I think you should try and find out if you can be allowed to add a restart button to your entry. They've stated I believe that you can address big completely game-breaking bugs, as long as you don't alter any features. and you can argue no respawn is quite game breaking. Please find out if you can add it, it would make a huge difference!

phew. i was determined to finish but damn I think you made some mean level designs! to the point where managing to finish often felt way more luck-based than when I actively tried to be skilful or tactical. I did better just rushing over and over and hoping for the best :). but anyway despite all that it's a great achievement, full points for innovation. I never managed to read the end text though because I get killed so quick, which is a shame

pretty fun! I really question the fact that if you jump against a wall in level 1 you get sent flying backwards :) likewise in 2, it's quite random if you make it or fall into a hole and wait for the beam to catch up. finally in level 3, if I didn't accidentally find out about the wall-push I don't think I could complete it. despite these gripes, I had a good bit of fun :). level 1 was the most fun, sliding about and jumping to avoid obstacles

this game is awesome, particularly 'fly mode' which I almost missed! my only crit would be to add the velocity of the vehicle onto the bullet, cos if you get really fast you can almost outrun your own bullets! anyway, one of my favourites so far!

game looks great :) I think it's a little inaccessible to jump straight into and start playing, there's a lot of elements presented all at once. I actually think streamlining it to just guiding light and electricity might have made it easier to make and easier to get into to play. still, well done for the complexity in there!

awesome game, just a little too difficult (or actually as others have stated, its just too long inbetween respawn points. the difficulty is fine apart from that) the only other thing I found frustrating is how you can go so much faster than the screen scroll rate.. I guess I understand it's so you can get out of a scrape, but I also would have liked to build up a bit of a gap between me and the fire if I could move fast enough, which gives a little bit of a safety net for when you mess up.

all in all a fun and cool game tho!

it took me a few goes to realise I could kill people, I generally shot them a few times and when nothing much happened I kept running :). but eventually I got it :). pretty clever!

fantastic game, really fun and I loved the art! very stylish :). I got stuck on level 14 tho, after 6 tries I ended up giving up, sorry :/. There seems to be a jump which requires a leap of faith and missing it is instakill. At first I was really pleased to see the water was not instant death, and you could recover- however more and more in the later levels it does become instant death. I love that you even coded a bonus level!

thanks for commenting! yeah I guess a consequence of focusing on atmosphere and art, the game length and mechanics suffered somewhat.. I think this would have been better for a week long project, but I really wanted to try it anyway :). cr, I'm really sorry that's a terrible bug :(. the first thing you're supposed to do is click on the medicine cabinet- does nothing happen when you try that?

blown away by the comments, thanks so much guys :) taking all the crits on board too, I totally agree the icons could be clearer. I'm not so keen on text (i quite like making my games multi-language, without need for translation) but things could be made more obvious through other means. As for expanding the game.. I'm in two minds! well, of course I'd love to, but I'm already working on a game called Pineapple Smash Crew . Hmmm!

16 iirc! if you want a tip, their firing timer gets reset if they get hit (i know, there's no feedback for this at all) so if you feel there's others about to shoot you, spray a few bullets in their direction and then go back to your main target.

It's a great achievement to finish a game in the time, but I do think you could have stretched yourself a bit more with the originality.. I mean, it's pacman but with less going on :P. and it's a closed maze you can't escape from!

I admit at first I really did not like this game because I felt like it was a case of designer mocking player, but since then I've thought about it more and it's clever enough to win me back around :). great art and music too

thanks guys! I'm going to try get a web export up. This was my first time using unity and I left it till the very last minute to figure out publish settings so I only got the windows one out. Apologies for the wonky movement! It was probably a bad idea, but I decided to try make my own movement instead of using the unity default. It works nice on my machine but I think it's not correctly accounting for framerate maybe. Or some other issue, not sure yet

Thanks sudorossy- It's difficult to tell if the framerate is choppy in game or just the video. If it's the game, using the alternate forward render version will probably make it easier. If it does run smoothly, then it might just be my bad controls :) sorry about that!
