Oh, and I had complains about windows 7 and firefox running really slow. Sadly, I can't test that :( But Chrome should run fine.
FF und xp runs without a problem at all on my 5 year old machine.
And maybe I should have sticked a "Rated Adult" sticker on the humor, I got that thought from that "Rebruary" Month from spoony and a little bit from Red Heat - Thats the cap you're wearing :)

I really like this concept! Good work.
I seem to be way too dumb to understand this game =( Can't play it, can't rate it accordingly... But I like how you didn't have to use flash or other proprietary thingy :)

I really like the idea! I seem to suck at it though ;)
I have no idea how I'm supposed to play.... Could you add instructions?

Same here... Couldn't understand how to play >_<
Hi, yeah, I guess I have a blind spot on usability ... and am able build really hard games ;)
I like such games as millenium 2.2 where you didn't know what to do either, but I guess that's a special kind of sadism ;)
So, here's what to do:
At the beginning you're only able to repair systems and you have to keep the important systems running.
After the bridge is destroyed you are able to set course and put in the "overdrive", which is some kind of afterburner that is constently hurting your hull.
Best way (Sad to say, I guess nearly the only way) to win is to put 2 Mechanic on Hull, Engines and Energy, 1 on Sensors and Point defense).
After the bridge is destroyed try to avoid the asteroids and if possible enemy ships, put in the overdrive and take ignore Point defense and Sensors and put at least one of them to Hull, the other where it is needed.
Ok, I need to balance this more and remove some bugs, such as system health bleeding without even beeing attacked. yeah, that happens :(
Thanks for the patience and testing this brutal piece of software! :)

I don't know how to play it >.<
good concept, I enjoyed it, but its hard! Very hard, starts as simple balancing but seems to go out of control way quickly. Always enjoy sci-fi theme tho :)
I have no idea how to play this game. I can't even tell if it works.
gokuhd, onefineline:
where's the problem? use your mousewheel (I hope you've got one) an scroll over that "hull", "point defense" etc. boxes. scroll up puts a mechanic there, scroll down removes it.
loads of potential here, I just didn't have a clue how to beat the game! barigorokarl: I was doing that but the attackers pound the ship so much it just got to a state where engineers were keeping me alive but I couldn't fix sensors or engines so was dead in the water
I definitely think you should continue developing this btw- make the first level way way easier, and balance the game a bit more, but I loved the hell out of the idea

Mousewheel control is... is not very intuitive, don't you think? Concept is nice and quite innovative, but... even if i tried really hard to keep most of the systems running, I just never had any chance.
Here's the proof, that it (under the right cirumstances) actually works ;)

Yeah, I have to say, unfortunately, the hard part of this game is not figuring out the strategy, it's figuring out what the heck is going on. I knew that I was supposed to be using the mousewheel to assign workers and I still had lots of trouble with that. It's not clear that the suggestions coming from the bridge crew are not meant for me. I didn't know that clicking on Overdrive toggled it rather than activated it each time I clicked, especially since I couldn't see what was happening since my sensors were shot.
Having said that, I like the idea of balancing the workers between the various ship departments. Maybe ease into things with a couple levels with fewer departments or something.

I love this game and with the video its much clearer how to play it! My favorite entry! :)
