I see starcontrol 2 everywhere ;) Mind you, I liked that game a lot! Do something to the sound and the graphics and I'll play it ;)

I see starcontrol 2 everywhere ;) Mind you, I liked that game a lot! Do something to the sound and the graphics and I'll play it ;)
Good game ... I love how mr. explorer climbs through the level. Though it gets a bit boring after a while.
Wow ... the music and the sounds got on my nerves along with the controls. Somehow I do like the style, but I think that I'd rather not play this for a longer time, sorry ;-) (Mind you, the "show me where I failed the last time" part IS pretty cool).
Maybe this time, the cake is not a lie? ^^
Very good game.
Really good looking, music didn't work under wine :-/
At first I was a bit confused about what to do and I'm still not sure why you should bother to discover, because you can see your enemies from the start and I found nothing else out there.
But overall it felt smooth and I think the AI does it's job well ;-) Very nice!
Ah, ok, apperantly, the music is gone, but that's ok ;-)
Wow, very very cool concept and art. I like how you kill of the parts of your personality, that don't fit you :-)
Very very cool concept. I felt really allone out there on this yellow circles, because my grey circle was far far away.
I also like the 2001 graphics style. wow!
Whoah, like this panicky atmosphere. I reached the 3rd (or was it the 4th?) level but then I died ... How much levels are there? A little bit more oxygen for each cylinder would be ok though ;-)
Aww ... I'm a nice little planet and want to explore the universe. If only that darn aliens wouldn't crash into me whenever I hit hyperspeed *grml*
But then I can grow trees and see my nice little population build factories ...
I had some memories of starcontrol 2 for a few moments, which is good because that was one of my favourites.
This game is really really cool, it's relaxing, though entertaining and funny. I LIKE :-)
Wow, that was cool! Totally addictive!
Ryan: Yay! That "Grandpa was WHAT?" thing was excactly what I was aiming for, thanks! :-)
increpare: yeah, it's a little bit unfinished I know, at least it works. Buildind the engine from scratch in javascript took a lot of time. ;-)
thanks for reviewing!
And the grocery-story IS really confusing, I had something different in mind and couldn't finish it properly.
After this comments I'm sure I WILL polish this game. I think you're all right, the layout of the screen and the dialog boxes are very confusing.
It would be nice to see the map and the names of the persons standing around.
Other than that I would like to keep that "you have to talk to everyone, if you're not fast enough to run away".
But I'll try to resolve that another way, maybe the people will come towards you if you step onto a square and if they are near enough they will talk ;-)
I like staring at pixelated planets, reminds me of the old days (project nomad, starcontrol 2) ;)
Would be very interesting to see, where the game will develop to by just finding objects in space ...
I would like to vote for some "Hey, what's that thingy right near saturn and why is it blinking sos codes?" ;)
Cool overall experience.
One skeleton was really hard to reach because it was in the northern mountains and almost every way was to long for the adventurers, did hang there for a while ;-)
Nice to see my adventurers wander around and apparently die of age. Idiots. But hey, they bring me the golds! *g*
Ha, this is cool! I liked to play around with the physics. And the music reminded me of the old xcom-games, very nice ;-)
Nice game, especially how you stitched the theme in it ;)
Works fine and has great Music and good Graphics, is a little bit repetitive though ;)
LIKE !!11oneelven The music fits like steelcap boot to the teeth of some sh*thead :-P
I liked the hectic you're getting into. And the fact that you're able to fight the enemies instead of just running away. Nice one!
You've too much time on your hand, otherwise ok.
That installer is really a little bit much, but I guess that comes with the xna.
Oh, and I had complains about windows 7 and firefox running really slow. Sadly, I can't test that :( But Chrome should run fine.
FF und xp runs without a problem at all on my 5 year old machine.
And maybe I should have sticked a "Rated Adult" sticker on the humor, I got that thought from that "Rebruary" Month from spoony and a little bit from Red Heat - Thats the cap you're wearing :)
Hi, yeah, I guess I have a blind spot on usability ... and am able build really hard games ;)
I like such games as millenium 2.2 where you didn't know what to do either, but I guess that's a special kind of sadism ;)
So, here's what to do:
At the beginning you're only able to repair systems and you have to keep the important systems running.
After the bridge is destroyed you are able to set course and put in the "overdrive", which is some kind of afterburner that is constently hurting your hull.
Best way (Sad to say, I guess nearly the only way) to win is to put 2 Mechanic on Hull, Engines and Energy, 1 on Sensors and Point defense).
After the bridge is destroyed try to avoid the asteroids and if possible enemy ships, put in the overdrive and take ignore Point defense and Sensors and put at least one of them to Hull, the other where it is needed.
Ok, I need to balance this more and remove some bugs, such as system health bleeding without even beeing attacked. yeah, that happens :(
Thanks for the patience and testing this brutal piece of software! :)
gokuhd, onefineline:
where's the problem? use your mousewheel (I hope you've got one) an scroll over that "hull", "point defense" etc. boxes. scroll up puts a mechanic there, scroll down removes it.
Here's the proof, that it (under the right cirumstances) actually works ;)

Nice, but hard
That game was not that bad .. yeah, it's unbalanced but what would you do. I was motivated enough to really try to finish - which I didn't, the 3rd room was impossible to get through.
We're rating the game, not the hoster (which IS bad, I would definetly never buy a premium account there).
What's more a problem is the premade assets thing. Sorry, but that's not ok. You could just use colored boxes next time, not pretty but that's not the only goal here ...
Wow, very nice! I found that the number of ghosts is absolutely right. It was neither unbeatable nor too easy.
Argh ... if it wasn't this controls ... I really laughted hard on the story, though ;)
You've finished it, the first step to something awesome has been taken. :)
And please, if possible don't use copyrighted material for timelapse videos, we germans can't watch them because some sh*theads are always blocking such content over here :(
Haha, nice one. I'll go with YBG: Whoa, this is so META :)
Great game, really! I think it's a great add to the fun that you actually can't do anything other than just wait and hope. And that you don't know how far vou've come yet.
Other than that I too think that it would be good to see, how much you've bought in the beginning, you've to calculate hard this way. Oh, and it would be great to have a log or something where the messages pop up, this way you miss a lot, because after a few days I kept my finger on the spacebar ...
It dies after I blew up something ... :( Otherwise great concept!
Really a great idea!
Nice, checkpoints would have helped though ;)
Nice and dark.
lolkthxbye :)
Very nice idea, but I didn't get it either.
+1 for the xkcd Cory Doctorow :-) (ok there seems to be a lack of goggles).
I had really fun playing this one. The controls are a bit clunky and at first I didn't realize when you loose lives. But it was really funny to jump in blasting and swinging the sword! Nice!
Nice game! Though the point-system is a bit too random for my taste, sometimes you have to get small planets and only big pop on and sometimes you click but in the exact moment the size limit changes and you loose. Very cool graphics.
Good for the phones !?
Cool thing with the text and speechthing. The controls are a little bit too wobbly.
Blender!!! tap a, tap a, tap a, tap a, tap a, tap a, tap a, tap a, tap a, tap a, tap a, tap a, tap a, tap a, tap a, tap a, tap a, tap a, tap a, tap a :-)
Ok, there're bugs, but the blender engine isn't very stable ... yet, I hope they change that in the future! :-)
Windows XP here and it works fine ... I love the hurt in my eyes :-P no, really, I find the graphics very funky and the idea is also cool - capture the flag, sorry, earth against zombies.
HAHAHA! Very cool, I like such stories. Ok, I couldn't figure out what these laserthingys are that wander the corridores. I like!
Kudos for the javascript, yay! :-)
It's quite hard to control but it's a fun idea.
I like! I love these kind of games, it reminded me of SimEarth and Powermonger :-) Ok, the graphics are simple and the grass drawing is a little bit tiring, but I could get over that!
Looks fantastic but the reappering monsters are a bit annoying. Rest worked fine. Did I mention that the graphics are amazing? ;-) A lot of content for 48h.
Very cool, better (more fluid and stable) than my try with impactjs ;-) The sound gets a little bit anoying though .. :-)
LOL, instant like ôÔ
Great job for the voice acting and ... well ... story :-)
the collision detection is a little bit chunky, but it's totally ok.
I can't play it, it crashes before it starts. I've XP and XNA 3.2 - I can't update to 4 because then my installation with visual studio express won't work any longer. Sorry.
@De10ter: Sorry to hear that :-(.
The underlying browser is unfortunatly very important, since Google Chrome, Firefox and Opera have the only javascript-engines to speak of - IE can be kicked out of the window(s *chch*) and I don't have a mac to test safari. I only have a core2duo from 2007 and it works fine under chrome.
@Fenmar: The controls are a bit strange to me, too. I didn't recall to have made them that way ôÔ.
@Nilmrots: Thanks! That's what I wanted to hear :-P
@Ghostik: Thanks, too! Yeah, I know, I didn't have the whole weekend to work on that and I never did sound and music before ;-)
@s0ulcrusher: Sorry, I'm from germany ;-) Mars -> Marsians, you know? Ok, I f**cked that up.
The collision detection is like I wanted it to be - the graphics aren't. Once you built the Clamps you can collect things from further away, that's the 40 pixels.
And yes - the start and endscreens aren't that good, the keyboard handling is horrible.
@john_conder9:
I wasn't sure if you should build the radar or have it from the beginning, but I guess I made the right choice. Thanks! :-)
I didn't have any lags, but I didn't test it anwhere else than in my Fedora/Chromium package either, there was no time :-/
Sorry for that!
@davidwparker: Third time LD, third time no sound .. ;-) I never get the time o0
The source is behind the windows link ... yeah, maybe I should have provided the source link too, shouldn't I?
Have you pushed "w" and reached the top? That's essantial. Maybe the end screen did not show, I had that a few times ...
Damn!! I Lost it ... ok, it wasn't a winner anyway, but the code is lost :-((
Ok, luckily I was to pessimistic.
The source is where the links point to, the game itself is at http://seenfoony.com/LD23 :-)
I liked this alot! The "graphics" really suit their means and the little story really nice and fits perfectly. Very good job!
Whoohoo! Curved World is cool! :-) I don't know why, but I really liked it. Seriously, I think it's because it reminds me of Serious Sam ;-)
Very nice! I got stuck in the lower left corner though :-/
The controls are a little bit strange, but nice graphics and music. Kudos for the 6h work :-)
Same here, I likes the references, but the jumping was really annoying. And I kept hitting ESC for some reflex reasons, which ends the game. Maybe asking if the user wants to leave is a good idea ;-)
Solid game. Controling the cannon is really a bit hard and I didn't figure how much aliens the earth can take. I only know it's deadly to leave the map.
Very nice music and stylish graphics. But a little bit hectic for my taste. Very good game!
Awesome game! Nice graphics, nice music and nice balance. It wasn't too easy but not too hard either.
I'm not into puzzle games but I quite liked this one. Nice graphics and music and the first 4 puzzles where easy enough for me :-)
I was on windows (linux to far away or to slow) and it didn't work (win xp) sorry, couldn't rate.
I found it ok, it's a little bit monotone, but it works really nice and the patterned planets are funky!
Same here, moving was to slow, after level 4 both my wrists did hurt. Cool graphics, reminded me of the yesteryears :-) Liked it.
I would like to cite domrein here:
WEB-GL!!!! click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click click
WHOOHOO!
This one is over to fast. The idea is nice, though. I would have liked to play the level for a minute or so :-)
404 here to :-(
Wow! Very cool game. I liked almost everything. Except the viruses. Although you showed them ("these are yours") I didn't understand that in the game so I thought the blue ones are enemies...
Hehe, so, I'm evil? Then ON YOUR KNEES LITTLE OIL USING PEOPLE :-) Nice idea! Could use a little more to do, but you already said that ...
(Win7 64bit all ok)
Haha! Liked this! Although I had doubts about the flower ;-)
Nice idea with that "if you you what everyone including do is doing by default, you're fucked" :-)
Although it's very confusing and first time playing I didn't see the powerups at all.
Tricky controls and the triangles should show how far away the target is. The music is very nice! Good work!
Jumping is a little bit strange, otherwise a nice game. Cool Music!
Can't play in chrome (I know, chrome sadly isn't good for js games). Firefox throws me onto another domain with a login o0?
Argh, that vile beasts are everywhere!
The controls are a little bit unpredictable. I didn't understand how to kill them f**ing cats effectively. The sounds are nice ;-)
@Mista Koo: Me too :-/
Sorry, but I didn't understand much of the game ... the skinning is cool. But I don't get what the other powers do. Also, I couldn't find anything to do other then to kill cops. The mana bar (or whatever you call it) refreshes to slow for my understanding.
Ok, at least you got a start. Next time you'll get way further :-)
Do I have to understand, what is happening here? It's colorfull and I a not wrong. So, no, obviously it isn't of any relevance :-) Nice one! (Although I'm not sure, what the green things do and how I can control anything)
:D
Lvl 11. Whoah, that was absolutely crazy :-)
The sliding after running is a little bit too much, otherwise a nice game. Really cool music!
Neat! Solid game and very nice, smooth music :-)
Whoah, that was awesome! This one absolutely got me. :-)
Thanks for the flowers, everyone! I should sing more often (hehe).
@bigbadwofl: no, it isn't. I wonder if dogbomb comes by ;-)
Nice little game. First run I was beeing overrun just a vew seconds before end and I had only one gold left. Good balance, I would say ;-)
24 billion points!!11!1 Gut stuck on the diamond, though ;-)
What a great game! And what a great tune!! +1k :-)
Well, simple idea, but the story and the papers bring so much more to it! Very cool!
Interesting concept, but you have to polish more. I didn't understand how to balance g<->e at first and as I did there was no difference in points because it was to hard for me. But the idea definitly has something to it.
Great!
Feels somewhat polished. Nice!
Didn't get it. Or did I? Didn't got me, then .. sorry. Nice graphics, though.
The exe dies without any message :-(
(Windows 7 64bit)
I tried it with compatibility mode for windows xp and windows warned me, that program wants to change something on the harddrive. I accepted, but still it's not running.
Hope you didn't put a virus on my machine ;-)
Really cool idea with very solid realization! :-)
Made more sense than I thought after the first time. Nice little princess racer ;-) By the way: what exactly are you?
Hehe, I'm usually on the opposite end of this. So it's VERY pleasing and a little bit scary how good this feels.
The game feels very polished. Nice!
Wow... this was... vast! Very good. The graphics add great to the story.
Hey, thanks inbetweengames. Yes, that was the idea.
Sadly, it's pretty rough. And incomplete. And thrown together.
And yeah, maybe, just maybe I should have put in a mute button. Shouldn't have been that hard. Meh, next time ;-) ... Sorry
Wow, really cool! Would work nice on a mobile ;-) Nothing to nag about, felt nicely polished!
Roarrr Ground shakes *g* Very cool! And nice touch with the sound!
Nice game! Was fun bouncing around.
Haha, nice one. A little more responsive controls were nice, maybe a dash foreward on attack. But otherwise the funniest entry today :-D
Tough game! I really liked it!
This was really a schlachtfest.
Awesome. Deep and full of nice ideas! Really, really hit me!
Cool animations. The jump isn't high enough though and you don't have any means to evade / defend against the evil blocks. Nice one for the first time :-)
Really cool. Burn him! oops... :-D
