Nice little entry. I really liked the control mechanics... it felt really fluid, and the slight upward thrust really kept it interesting.

Nice little entry. I really liked the control mechanics... it felt really fluid, and the slight upward thrust really kept it interesting.
This was great. One of my highest rated thus far, if not the highest. I can tell you spent every second putting it where it needed to be...
Tooltips would have been a help... (I wasn't sure what the shell even was until after the game was over and I peeked in the guide).
Fun and solid for its simplicity
I enjoyed that a whole lot more than I probably should have :) Thanks
Liked where you were going with this. You should keep at it.
Art and sound was great. Never could quite figure out what was going on with the controls though... no matter where I hot the ghosts, didn't feel very bouncy.
That was fun. Thanks!
Very solid. Nothing I can think to add or take away.
It was good. Liked the pencil/paper art style.
With mine, I put an installer version / and an exe version with links in the description to the XNA dependencies.
Dont let the negatives above get you down. Game programming takes practice... and this was pretty good for a first try. keep it up!
Didn't work on win764 for me...
Graphics and sound worked really well together. I was a bit confused about exactly what it was I was supposed to be doing.. but I think I did it.
Nice little app game. Once I figured out how it worked, I could see it really going somewhere.
The controls were acting kinda wanky from time to time, and it wasn't always apparent of what it was I should be doing... (going up, lighting torches)... But other than that excellent entry. Well thought out and nailed the theme.
After coming of a string of platformers to rate, it's nice to see a more original concept. Could see going a lot of ways with this. Nice!
Could use a bit more player feedback... As I wasn't quite sure my clicks were doing anything.
Eh, it was a pretty good platformer. I kinda liked the audio.. the graphics could be improved to fit it.
Agree with the above that it needs some balancing.
That was not a bad little game. I seemed to run into some issues with the light not working 100% of the time... But it could of just been me.
Really enjoyed it!
This was nice.. Liked the enemy variety and the spells were varied and useful.
Liked the mood. The graphics and music really worked well together. Did get a bit repetitive, but not so much to not try and save that cat a few times.
That was fun. Loved playing in the editor.
Fun to play. Very good control scheme for this kind of game on a PC. As mentioned above, the zombies were a little op in the speed department.
Great idea, and I could see this being a lot of fun. But as mentioned above, I just cant think that fast.
Pretty fun little game. I was surprised (and I admit a bit relieved) to not see pits to jump over. Only thing I would change is to switch the point values. Those little guys are hard to hit!
That was fun. Rand out of food and water within the last 5 miles... but decided just to go straight forward and made it.
Enjoyed it!
That was a lot of fun. Liked the art style and sound work. Neat little concept that was very new to me and very enjoyable.
You nailed the theme on this one. Music and graphics worked really well with the mood. Has a 'Demetri Martiny' feel to it... and i mean that as a compliment.
Overall, great job. Good mood and liked the black and white and the sound fit in nicely.
The controls, as mentioned above were a little wanky, ran into some collision detection issues and the press escape to exit the game text wouldn't go away until I finished the first level. But all of those are very minor.
And let me fix rawbits comment for him...
I'll not install anything to play a game, except for DirectX, Flash, A couple versions of Java, and the unity web player.
Solid concept and the graphics and audio were great.
Best puzzle game I've played in the competition yet. Everything just works...
Took me a while to figure this out. But once I did, it's a pretty neat, original puzzle game. The overall goal was clear enough, but took some fooling around to get the mechanics.
Once I realized how the game ran... It was fun, and i liked the music. A little gamestate management would have taken this a long way.
Music was great and matched the graphic style perfectly. And one more word... jetpacks.
The graphics were great.. the cloud and light were really nice touches, but the music kinda drug me out of the mood.
Liked the overall idea. Was really a lot of fun. I'm not sure if it was the controls, or just the balancing needs balanced... but I found it got real hard real quick.
Nice little game. It seemed a little busy to me... especially when the map gets crowded. A broom or tp buff would have toned that down a bit. Or a knock back like others suggested.
Good work!
I laughed. I cried. I got confused. I got scared. Then I laughed again.
Neat little game. Graphics were great.
My take on the theme was being charged to contain a hopeless situation by yourself until help arrives. Then realizing that the help isn't coming.
I'll admit it may be loose, and the "story" is subtle. This sort of game doesn't lend itself well to text readification.
I really do appreciate the feedback. I really can't argue with the suggestions... they've been very helpful.
Wow... this new rating order just gave me a flood of visitors. Thank you all for the comments!
Make A Game - I'm not sure that I would start playing the game on Hardcore mode before I'd beaten it a few times on the other difficulties. which are hard enough. Once you figure out how the enemy attacks work, it's easy to avoid them, even on hardcore mode. (Think z axis)
The mouse sensitivity thing is having me kick myself. I've got it in the code, just never put in the interface.
Interesting mechanic. I was a chair ridin, table herdin fool.
I liked the movement of the ship... it felt nice... with the smoke trails and all.
Nice.. Great Graphics and audio.
I think if I had a controller, I could have enjoyed this more, but the keyboard controls just didn't do it for me. (But I'm not quite sure there is a good keyboard control scheme for a dual stick that doesn't involve the mouse)
Felt better when I saw others couldn't get past level 2 either. The first 2 levels had penguins in them though.
Worked fine in chrome for me...
I like the concept. Took a while to figure everything out, as mentioned. But could be turned into something great, I believe.
The sound and mood were great.
Worked fine on windows for me. I died a lot though.
Really a good start. The graphics and interface feel work. You should run with this and complete it!
Wonderful concept. A great little game!
Good concept. took a while to start to get the hang of it, not sure if I ever fully did. A slower and more forgiving start would do wonders.
Good job. Controls were a bit touchy at first, but found that to be a good thing at the end. Like the BSOD intro and theme.
Little loud, graphically, but a nice little concept. Some collision issues, but pretty fun.
Needs moar douglas adams references.
Pretty fun little game. Took a while to adjust to the physics of the game... and quite suprised to see that levels seem to change on me. But overall, a good time. Good job!
Really good job. It was fun, and the graphics and audio really worked.
I thought I was the blue pixels at first. When I realized select and move... and I was Red... game cam quite enjoyable. Liked the burrowing, and the auto-shoot.
Some simple audio would have made a big difference.
Once I figured it out.. really thought it was interesting. Love the idea of a giant robot delivering flowers... shortly before it crushes your house.
Not really a card guy, and it took me a while to figure it out, but it was really fun once I got into it. Good work!
Audio and graphics were great. And the game was fun... for a while. A little bit of variety and this would be a great mobile game.
Good job. Simple, yet fun. As mentioned above, the day night transitions were a nice touch.
The graphics work great for the game. Solid controls/collision for a platformer.
Yeah... the download link appears to be broken... May I suggest dropbox?
Looks great! Loved the particle effects. It was really hard for me (couldn't get past the first boss), but I think that's because I was getting a poor frame rate (my current computer's fault, not yours), and I really suck at these sort of games (my fault, not yours). I'll replay it on my better computer later.
Really liked the audio and music. It fit in great.
A tad higher fire rate would have been nice. Also.. doors seemed to suck me in and spit me out... like really fast. Other than that.. good job!
I used to rock me some missile command back in the day.
Graphics and audio were good, and I liked the planet rotation, and the multiple turrent per mouse button mechanics. But the game was a little on the hard side. The enemy missile speed is ok, the friendly missle speed and fire rate is ok, the small explosion radius is ok, but when you put those three together with limited ammo, its kinda punishing.
Just for reference... XNA games do not need to be packaged. You can zip up the files in your bin/release folder after a build. This is more convenient for people that already have it installed.
Game play was just a lot of "wait for the next thing"... but it was wrapped in a great presentation.
Cavemen with missile launchers. I'm content.
Neat little game.
Using Xact next time for your music files will significantly save on your download size. As xna folks in Ludum Dare, we have to extend every convenience we can :)
Thanks everyone!
@Danvil - Sounds like you need to increase your Power (Up arrow or W)
@edg3 - It takes a random play from the list of already played games. So, if you get bad rolls on your random gen, you can play the same one over and over.
@barigorokarl - Or is it practical because it clears the way? ; )
@ratboy2713 and @LukeRissacher - I think you both may have missed the details of "important note #1" above, on the off chance you come back and read this.
On a side note, given the nature of the game mechanics, I find the "AI tends to bury itself" comment rather amusing.
Thank you all for the comments... and schattenkind.net, thanks for the link. I will try and port it over.
@LukeRissacher - ma'bad. I was picturing you playing the first round against the dummy and thinking, "An AI opponent would have been nice". :)
Side note, the terrain seed should save with the play through, only mirrored. Didn't get a chance to test that as much as I'd like though.
Nice take on the orbital shooter. Some more variety would have been nice, but great mix of play sound and graphics.
Cool little game. Graphics worked really well.
Ruh-roh... you do have a # too... you even have a piano. :P
I think all you other folks should name you're games # too... just to clear up any confusion :)
I second the TradeWars comment above, got some flashbacks. :) Nice work, and great art work.
really like the "log rolling" world... made for a really neat effect. nice little set of mechanics in there as well. nice job!
Wow... very good! Very well polished (a very good tutorial AND a fast forward button in a ld game?! yes please) and very fun to play. Good job!
nice little puzzle game. simple audio would have added soooooo much.
wow.. once i figured out the controls.. (i'm a bit slow).. I had a lot of fun with it. great audio and and really liked the really big pixels.
Very nice. Most of what I have to say has been said above... good work!
I liked it. really nice zoom in transitions, and it appears to never paly the same way twice.. (at least the way I play games) It's that kind of polish i really appreciate in LD. good work.
the art style is fantastic, very fitting.
really reminded me I need a new mouse... :) It's a really neat concept... could be expanded out in a lot of different ways.
the game looks fantastic, though I'm not sure i would file the art under "minimalism". i experienced an issue where i couldn't go up stairs (win 7, chrome)... which was an issue because that arrow kept pointing up... i also have that problem in real life though.. so it may just be me. overall, good work!
Pretty cool little concept. Good work!
ah... green go... red stop... i must be getting old.. once I got that... well...
loved the setup, and the game got really fun as it speeds up. the art just works, and hit the theme perfect. good work!
(don't see otomata used nearly as much as it seems it should in this compo... my first two ld entries were all about that program :) )
took me to a while to get the hang of it... but once I did, had a blast. it's a real think fast game and i love that. good job!
cool concept. really liked having to think about more than just firing like crazy. nice work.
I really liked this. The art, music and "action" just work well together.. I found myself really wanting to figure it out... then I read the comments... :( Then i sat and watched it for a while.. wow... like 10 minutes now. Something very minimalist.. (and relaxing) about it.
Very nice work. neat little concept and the art and audio worked well together.
thanks everyone!
yeah... i realize it could have used a lot more balancing...
@hgouveia - i don't understand? why would you want to exit? but seriously... esc should kill you... which in turn allows you to go back and exit out. (i'll admit i didn't to extensive qa on this feature though...)
That's two scratch games I've seen this LD. Can't wait to show my son. Can't wait for the I'm a Banana theme :)
Really cool concept. For the first one, it's really awesome. Really like the drawing animations.
(Really don't like the mad sheekels :) )
Good job! Thanks!
This is a really cool concept. Channels, art and audio went really well together. Would have like a faster pace, but that's probably just me. Overall, really good work. Thanks!
Really cool entry! Original take on the mechanics, and quite easy to get into. (Thank you for keeping the "credits" between states :) ) Good work! Thanks.
Very interesting entry. Different, and fun. Looking for a theme connection... and not coming up with a lot... but good luck with it in the future! It's a really cool idea.
Thanks!
Fun little game, like the take on the theme. Great work! Thanks!
Heh, looks like we have the same taste in 48 hour game making concepts :) Really liked it, especially the graphics and sound effects. Good job! Thanks!
I personally resent the way you portray coders as shirtless grinning idiots, dancing around, wanting nothing more than to get to their computer...
wait a minute...
*puts shirt back on, stops smiling and dancing, and gets to computer*
Hey, nice game! Good work!
Really fun game (Once I figured out what the different colored tiles were). Art was great and the gameplay was solid. A little audio would have worked wonders... but the sky is also blue, and water wet :)
Good job.. thanks!
Really cool implementation/gamification of my everyday activities. :) Really liked the control interface.. Really well done. Thanks!
Wow, really cool take on the genre... like the color shifts, and the soundtrack kicks! Thanks!
Great idea and execution. Was really a lot of fun (too bad I'm such a bad artist :) ) Good job! Thanks!
Trying to think of a way to make this game better...
Gameplay.. no... Audio.. no... ummm... you could change the... no... Different color scheme! Yes... I don't like purple...
Seriously though, really good job! Had a lot of fun (and will have more) with this one. Thanks!
Good job for a 9 hour project. Hit all the high points, sound, death effects and animation.
Small gripes I could make, but I won't given... 1... I really liked the game... a lot... and 2... I think you nailed it given the time constraint...
Thanks! Really enjoyed this one.... I've given you more ellipsis than any... game... i've... commented on... thus far...
Game looks great, and really liked the whole audio. Not sure if my non-ability to shoot the yellow things is my fault, for being left handed... (mouse didn't seem to do anything)
Game looks fricking fantastic though. :)
Really cool take on difficulty progression... liked it, and the art style really fit it. Would have like a little faster pace, but I'm crazy like that. Good job. Thanks!
Nice little puzzle game with a cool look and feel. Good job. Thanks!
Wow! That's a great implementation, solid mechanics and a fab art style. Great job!
Thanks!
Nice work! Would have loved a hit on the note pickup, but otherwise, nicely built, fun city scape was beautiful, and loved the groovin clouds :) Thanks!
Certainly interesting.. Little candy box meets conquering the galaxy kind of thing.
Only criticism would on the pacing. I could see a faster pace, and that might work... but a slower pace would be awesome, so I could have this running in my other window while I played other games. But.. that's just me still wishing for my perfect netflix watching game. :)
Overall good job! Thanks!
Really nice entry. Art and sound effects were fab, and a really cool concept. Good job!
Love it. This is what a ludum dare game is about... quick, simple and to the point. Taking a small mechanic and making something challenging. Thanks!
LOL. Good work. Thanks!
I had the same problem as karol, couldn't jump high enough :( But I like that the previous levels make the tiles for the next levels. Really cool concept.
Good work. Thanks!
I take that back... I totally didn't notice the double jump (I think its if you're standing still only?) Continuing on... :) (sorry bout that)
Nice work, and good take on the theme. I like games where you build and paint pixels :)
I got icecream and eaten by a mantis. Would play again.
(liked the piano jam in the background... got pretty heavy when the mantis came in :) )
That made me feel a bit... not a bad thing though. Good job! Thanks.
Really great concept, simple, fun, clean and right up my alley. I could see benefiting from some super hexagony screen warps and rolls in the future :)
Great job! Thanks!
That was alot of fun.... got stuck in the 200 point range, as it appears I raised a bunch of steak snobs. :)
Thanks! Good Job!
Really good look and feel, and great take on the theme. Would have liked a little more gameplay, but still was a really good time. Thanks!
Tried to give it a go... but I got a long series of "Connecting to Master Server" / "Unable to connect". I'll try again later.
BTW, +1000 for the key rebinding options. Us soutpaws really, really appreciate that. :)
I must be missing something. I watched a commercial, then I saw a white screen? (IE, firefox, and chrome) Advise?
Great entry as always. Well polished and fun experience. Thanks!
Monkey and bananas always work. Always. 11/10.
I got sooooooo lost in the maze :( But loved the backend banter and the theme take is great.
Good Work! Thanks!
Have to reconsider some of my previous votes after this one. Good job! Thanks!
Heh, I made a control panel based sort of game as well... but ended up very different. Amazing the number of takes on the control panel :)
I liked the game. It reminded me a lot of an old star trek like game I played on the old 386. Had a strong strategy element, and added in a little of that frantic feeling in the later waves. Good job!
It was good. I'm left handed, so the A-D-Space didn't work for me, but I didn't hold that against you. It was a good time... Thanks!
Wow, very well polished. Sprites look awesome, and music and sounds were great! Pretty fun gameplay too, after I learned that jumping helps a lot.
Good work! Thanks.
Now that was fun. Finally got myself a challenge :) Thanks!
Wow.. that difficulty ramps up pretty quick until you figure out what you're doing :) Really nice. Soundtrack is tops. Good workd!
Really cool little concept, but really easy to master (at least I think). Great start to something that could be really cool. Good job!
Wow.. that was really pretty. I didn't actually win (thought I tried about 20 times), but the overall experience was still pretty great. Good work! Thanks!
Looks like a lot of fun... spy party style. I'll wait for player two to join then come back by.
This game is really awkward for someone cursed with left-handedness like myself... but 72 hours doesn't leave a lot for accessibility.. and I totally understand :)
Really nice entry. The overall look, feel and sounds worked really well. Little cart-lifey feel with a lot less "annoying", with a really great and appropriate soundtrack and very polished presentation. Good job! Thanks!
Pretty fun game. The controls took a lot of getting used to, but I learned to work with them as I got used to them. Some alpha or additive blending on the circles would have been nice, especially on some of the later levels where green and red circles can hide.
Overall, good job though! Thanks!
Really like it when audio is incorporated into gameplay... (Just wish the bass line on this one was a bit easier :) ) Tough, but really cool. Good Job. Thanks!
Really nice audio work there! I played this a lot longer than I should have because of that. Really good work. Thanks!
Really liked that. Would like a lot more.. but you know.. 48 and all that. Thanks!
Soundtrack is kickass... btw.
Picking up the monitor and throwing it into the bookcase after getting my rear handed to me in pong, was probably one of my best experiences in computer gaming. Good job! Thanks!
Really nice concept, and the whole experience was really cool. Only got three of the endings, but that's pretty good for me, as I'm terrible at these sort of games:)
Good job! Thanks!
Really nice. Really enjoyed the spinny effects on the planet, though i started to get a bit nauseous when I enjoyed them too much :) Overall, nice game and take on the theme. Thanks!
Ditto the above.. play in the web link, not the embed!
Nice work! Some of the playtroughs gave me a little too much starting terrain, if you know what i mean :)
But overall, was a good time.
Thanks!
Cool, its like pool. And apparently I'm rhyming now..
Great way to make the theme work for you!
Lol... at first I thought he was carrying a gun in the first two screens :) That changed the story in interesting ways. But, finally figured out it was a phone.. and well.. I have a lot of people I know I'll be sending this to. They need to play it.
Good work. Thanks!
Audio and graphics were stunning, and the channel flipping was cool. As others have mentioned, wasd controls felt a little wonky in this type of game, but overall, really good job! Thanks!
Whew.. that's a tough game. But a really solid concept and a lot of fun. Very good looking game as well, lot of potential here. Good work. Thanks!
Bullethell... my old nemesis... we meet again... though this time the advantage is mine. I really like you.
Really great job. And I had that opinion 10 games in before I discovered the flip mechanic... Thanks!
Well.. that changed pace awful quick! I probably could have ended up beating it if this game didn't have so many credits. Loved the piano in the background.
Good job! Thanks!
Pretty cool concept and gameplay! Would have liked a little more :) Good job! Thanks!
This is awesome. Right up my alley. Only played it twice, but this nailed the economy game. Book marked to come back to later, as it appears I need more factories. :)
Liked the screen mechanic, kept you from being greedy. But I mourn all the dead donuts... I like donuts.. :)
Pretty good little scare game. You may want to look into the replay.. the second time I played, she started out passed out. Had to reload.
Once I got into it it was bliss til about 100 secs or so :) Really great work, and soundtrack was great. Loved the beat based visuals, and the simplistic visual style. (Its a music game amirite?)
For the post compo version that you are going to make (because I said so :) ) Go all out!
Simple, yet really satisfying, with a good slice of that mobile game addictiveness. Good work! Thanks!
Really fun thinking about combinations and watching the results. Love this sort of gameplay. Thanks for the entry! Good work!
Lot of interesting and fun mechanics there. Bonus points for making my wife scream "What are you doing up there!" in response to my rapid spacebar slapping.
Nice work. Lot of potential here, just needs some fleshing out. I didn't even know streamers had stress :)
Nice polished artwork, and good amount of enemy/powerup variation. The "feel" just fit right in to the genre.
Little tip for accessibility and the WASD front for the future, some folks have different keyboard layouts, and some us us, like me unfortunately were born left handed. It's good to have the arrows, or at least alternatives, as an option. But not held against you :)
Good work.. Thanks!
Wow. Damn fine job. It had musics, and maths, and screnshake, and awesome color schemes. Great work! Thanks
That was cool! My son's learning scratch right now, can't wait to show it to him.
Bob the fish didn't make it to heaven though, cause he got a cold :( I shall mourn his loss.
Gratz on your first entry!
Awesome experience. Very simple and everything worked well together. Good work, thanks!
Lol... sweet take on the genre. Good work!
Good work! Really liked the funky background music :)
AGH! Cannot get past Uranus!
And you are right, very similar to another game I saw :)
My muscle memory has been trained all weekend to respond to knobs and buttons in a completely different way... and it's hard to overcome that.
Awesome job, though... thanks!
Gonna have to give this one some time, but good job. Lots of complexity here :)
@bugninja Yeah, it's not my best design. If you click on any of the red buttons it "cycles" It's based of an old analog control I ran across once. (Needs smaller yellow lights to be more clear, and I do have a couple hours left) Thanks!
@Germain Ha! Thanks! Seems to be a trend with me. Last LD I was in, two of us gave our games the same obscure name :) Cant wait to see your take on it!
@Raptor85... It's pretty much the definition of pixel perfect for me in chrome, IE and Fireforx... curious about your setup.. let me know.. and I'll do my damndest.. Thanks!
First impression... too much, coming way too fast at me (I'm old)... but I think I can see where this is going, and I like it.
I think what this needs is a lot more attention than I have right now coming off the LD weekend. Coming back to this one later..
Ran into a bug where it would never stop telling me to rebuild houses (this was after a restart).
Otherwise, really good work. Lots of complexity in there for such a short time.
Thanks!
Brilliant take on the theme. Really liked all the zoom options. Good work! Thanks!
Wow... that was a lot of fun. Everything looked great, sound was awesome, and that mechanic was really novel, fun and easy to learn and work with. Really good job.
Thanks!
Ok... so that's like a really, like really... good take on the theme... but answer me this...
How could you feature a sousaphone and not have some sort of oom-pah music as a front runner for the soundtrack? I mean... really... c'mon...
But seriously... the theme, art and music (with it's blatant disregard for oom-pahness) was spot on and really worked. Loved the suck in/blow out mechanic. One of my favorites thus far.
If I had to name a complaint, the controls were a little off from my usual for this sort of game, I kept blowing and sucking when I meant to jump... but that's my own left handed "different strokes" problem...
Good job! Thanks!
I suspect the "offended" people above didn't play the game. Playing through, the reactions as well as finding the "secret ending" (Or win state, as I call it) make the point pretty dang clear.
Unless they are pro-girl-honking? Then... well.. yes, this could be offensive, I guess.
The game itself, had what it needed to have. The looks and sounds worked together real well to produce a fitting atmosphere. And it had a message.
Really good work! Thanks!
Really nice look. Really interesting concept as well. Took me a while to figure out what I was doing, only to find out I was doing it right the whole time.
Thanks!
Fabulous presentation, music and art style was spot on. Game was really fun as well, really liked the 2.5d take. Good work.
This is really good. And excellent with two players, having our own little sub debate about the current rule... in the debate simulator.
Presentation was fantastic. Really good job.
Thanks!
Really like the two handed controls. Lotta fun. Presentation is fantastic, and the boy gets to add a voice credit to his name :)
Thanks!
Really well polished shooter. Everything felt great, and looked fantastic. I didn't rate on audio, as technically... it should be created as well for the compo. But it was used really well.
Thanks.
Screenshake. :)
Really cool game. Looks great, love the palette and grain.. And the music rocks.
I started off sort of slow, but once I figured I wasn't constrained to grid movement/collision, it was all on.
The mouse was really laggy for me, which is a shame, as that really took away from the core mechanics... but that could be something on my end.
502 with 301 Clicks...
Thanks!
Really liked the games look and feel, the mood and words felt so real... and that's all the rhyming I gots...
Really liked the mechanic... waiting til the last second to press a button. Gives a rather tense feel in a seemingly relaxed environment.
Good job!
Really liked the premise, and the city feel/parallax was great. Liked how it got faster as you gathered more as well.
Thanks!
Animation and art style on this was superb. Background track was really great as well.
Got hard for me really fast, but made me count mouse clicks for the first time... in my life... I think... I'll need to get back to you on that..
Thanks!
Really cool concept, and could be a lot of fun. The limited lives felt a bit punishing, especially when starting out. But a really cool idea and great concept.
Thanks
I really liked this... really suck me in. I was having issues with what I assume was the last scene, with all my observating :), and the mouseover mechanic... It was really hit and miss. Really want to come back and beat this, though.
Presentation was really great. Loved the artwork, and story and audio... really well done.
Thanks.
Really nice entry, a lot of fun... Nice atmosphere and really good animations and music.
Thanks!
Good job. I liked it. It was difficult, but not overly so for this sort of game. Everything looked and sounded awesome.
Only real criticism I have is that the foreground color is a bit too close to the background color. It can be hard for us old fogies to figure out whether we're falling or landing.
Good job though. Thanks!
I liked it. Really got interesting when the kitty came into play. Like the decision to vary the jump sounds as well... quick and easy call. (You can also tweak the pitch, as a quick and dirty... makes a big difference)
Good job! Thanks.
Really cute. Couldn't make it past 10... those angry one's take a lot of love... Good job!
Ran into loss of collision bug on the second document level.. and would have liked a tad more gravity... but other than that, really good take on the theme and really liked the art style. Good job. Thanks!
That was really cute, and uplifting, the depressing :)
Really good job. Artwork is terrific, and really liked the transitions. Would have liked to see (uh... hear) a little background melody going through the same transition... but I completely understand.
Thanks!
Ha... that's a cool take on the genre. Really liked the mechanics, and atmosphere, and the sounds. Great job.
Thanks!
Controls worked for me the second time, on the mirror site. Really looks good, and dig the background music.
Thanks!
Had some collision issues, as well a fumbled the controls (can't do wasd very well as a leftie). But really liked the style and mechanics. Good job!
Thanks.
Fun little experience... win/lose conditions and all that... but what was implemented, mechanics, art and sound, felt really solid and satisfying. This would be killer on a touch screen.
I did find myself clicking outside the game bounds, which would case the game to pause. A minor annoyance, but a full screen toggle might be something worth looking into.
Thanks
