Above the Windows download links to a zipped version of my game. However, those of you that don't have the XNA redistributable or certain other frameworks installed may have trouble. Thus, the installer should work every time : http://dl.dropbox.com/u/122720/T%20-%20O%20-%20G%20-%20E%20-%20T%20-%20H%20-%20E%20-%20R%20%20%20%20%20A%20-%20L%20-%20O%20-%20N%20-%20E%20INSTALLER.zip Its also the smallest in download size...ENJOY!
The only problem with the installer is it runs the game right away and you may have to run the game a few times in order to win. The game launcher should be in your All Programs list under the name "TOGETHER ALONE" after your install. Sorry for this!
Now the Windows link links you to the installer instead of the zipped folder for those of you that were having trouble. The zipped is mentioned and downloadable through link in the above description. Sorry for any confusion!
It would have been nice to have a screen showing my score when I died.
Also, installing = BAD
Terribly sorry to hear that, will probably avoid using XNA and such in the future due to the annoyance...
Once I realized how the game ran... It was fun, and i liked the music. A little gamestate management would have taken this a long way.
Thanks Kitch! Best avatar I have ever seen by the way. I just ran out of time due to some early game ideas flopping midway through, else I would have worked on making a menu or at least some sort of retry feature and possibly variable difficulty.
Hehe, first time I'm encouraged to finish a game to hear the whole soundtrack :) Maybe the most romantic square game I have ever play !
Glad you liked the soundtrack and made it to the romantic ending, I was a tad worried the difficulty would be too great a deterrent! :)
Really cool game and I loved the premise. The ending was great. Nice song too. But for something like this, it needs to be a little flashier, maybe some neat geometry-based fireworks as you pass checkpoints in the song?
would love to test but the XNA requirment breaks it under WINE
I like this. The ending is quite touching :).
