LD19 — Discovery

Frolicking Furballs Safari Resort by Sos 2010-12-20T18:10:00

pretty fun and neat gfx style

LD23 — Tiny World

Alien Archaeologist by jplur 2012-05-01T02:10:00

pretty solid and fun. I got stuck on something that I couldn't see at one point.

Le Petit by Pixelulsar 2012-04-30T22:24:00

pretty good game. the controls need some work. up arrow for jump is maybe not a great choice. I liked the sprites and the tiles though quite a bit.

World Saver! by Zythiku 2012-04-24T04:11:00

I had a rough time because I'm not used to non-inverted mouse-y look. The game is pretty nice looking. I like the mood.

Around the World in 80 Seconds (or less) by gormio 2012-04-30T21:17:00

pretty solid entry, good music, it could be something very fun with a little bit of work and some more "game" in it

Nano-Clash by Zathalos 2012-04-28T13:46:00

nice models, decent music, weapons didn't feel like they were doing much though

Arnold Bros (est. 1905) by fanatiko 2012-04-27T22:31:00

Pretty good. Music was good - more would have been even better. I liked the gameplay. I didn't like the key controls.

Beyond by ben 2012-04-28T13:54:00

I like the idea and the visual style. I like the exploration gameplay. The sliding, floaty movement isn't fun though. inverted mouse look option would be nice too.

A Tenthlings Quest by zenasprime 2012-04-29T03:33:00

The destructible giant inards gameplay idea sounds cool and could be fun. the graphics and music were very good.

When Worlds Collide by AlwaysGeeky 2012-04-26T03:19:00

very cool graphics and effects. There isn't a whole lot to the game but I played it more than once! nice job

Light the Lighthouse by GranaDa 2012-04-28T01:11:00

the music is great. It's hard to see the walls. clicking in the window brings up a web link which is very annoying.

T-Pod by Spiridios 2012-04-29T16:18:00

Don't apologize for making a good oldschool shooter! Don't you dare! I loved it. It was fun, super smooth, good controls, good sounds and music. Only got 115 score though, it gets pretty hard.

Battle of the Planets by mrfb 2012-04-29T03:26:00

I wasn't really sure what to do or if I was having any effect.

Polarity by nornagon 2012-04-30T22:29:00

cool concept

Badassium Atom by misterhelmut 2012-04-24T04:17:00

I liked the game quite a bit. But I love dual-stick shooters and 360 controller option is wonderful. It's fun to play.

Tiny World Big War by dx0ne 2012-04-28T23:06:00

This is a great game. Carpet bombing is so much fun. Bigger bombs and some good sounds would go a long way.

Ethereal Isles by Izzimach 2012-04-29T03:44:00

Kind of a cool concept but it needs a little more for the player to do. Some idea on monster stat differences and strategic use would be cool too. Good use of the theme.

CastleMania by paslam 2012-04-29T16:13:00

I liked it. Limited ammo? It might be cool to make the returning arrows from the top pickups to restore ammo instead of killing the player. Then it's a choice between going after more ammo to continue or staying safe.

Tiny Neutrino by Scott Baker 2012-04-29T05:28:00

Good use of the theme and good ideas, the gameplay is good too. I seemed to be able to control direction slightly after the final split? Anyway I was able to change direction by 90 degrees usually and zip to the end of the level.

Nexus Rails by argo15 2012-04-25T06:38:00

Hey that was really cool. Just a single button to switch the rails, flying around with a fixed camera on what i'm guessing are some nice spline curves. Very good work, good presentation. I got a 'D' my first try :)

c!ph3r by frosty 2012-05-01T02:36:00

Really a solid game and fun to play. The title gfx and music are GREAT! I liked the gameplay quite a bit. I didn't make it through level 9 though unfortunately.

Download Incomplete by trq 2012-04-29T03:39:00

Great game. I love the particle effects, palette, and the controls. The jetpack movements feels pretty much perfect. The sounds and background music are also very good.

Ant Swarms by kodingmusik 2012-05-01T23:47:00

It's really a pretty fun idea. I didn't do all that well but I had a good time trying to get the little guys pointed in the right direction.

Full Circuit by JMRante 2012-04-24T04:33:00

Pretty fun and polished up.

Under the Glass by dxdydz 2012-05-01T23:44:00

wouldn't run for me. I guess I don't have the right version of python.

Tiny little World by Fridge Eater 2012-04-29T03:57:00

I got the the part where I was supposed to gather resources but everyone disappeared and I couldnt do anything. Otherwise a pretty cool concept and storyline. The island gfx are great. I also liked the music quite a bit. It seemed to fit well and create a mood.

Fracuum by TylerGlaiel 2012-04-28T00:37:00

THIS GAME IS AWESOME

Toad Warrior by SpaceToaster 2012-05-01T23:51:00

That is some great looking art. Nice work. I didn't do too well at the game but it was fun.

TinySpaceFoos by fdastero 2012-04-26T03:48:00

Is it always raining? I get angled streaks thru all the gfx. The music is great. The controls are a little strange but seems alright. I cranked speed up very high and got a seizure inducing strobe of the pink and green planets :) Not sure what I'm supposed to be doing in the game though? Also Ogre picked a bad resolution for fullscreen mode as default and garbled the gfx. I restarted it and selected a resolution my card & monitor supported.

Tiny Chtulhu by Chtulhu 2012-04-30T22:18:00

hahah pretty funny and pretty good.

8-bit "BTTP" Pixel by samusetroid 2012-04-28T05:14:00

good music, plenty of levels. the movement was a little slow and floaty. not a fan of jump on the up arrow but no big deal

Circuit by moltanem2000 2012-04-25T06:11:00

It was pretty fun. The first level was pretty good design. The slow fields were cool, and the kill-pads got me the first time!

ANtopia by pgil 2012-05-01T21:58:00

great game. I suppose the end was inevitable but it was still pretty cool. I loved the sprite work and the music.

Tiny Galaxy by Robert Swan 2012-04-26T05:58:00

Mouse invert option YES THANK YOU SIR! Also, this game is pretty awesome. One of my favorites so far. Solid work.

Going Rogue by FrankieSmileShow 2012-04-28T00:57:00

great! swinging buildings around is a lot of fun. GREAT music and gfx.

Haxe Planets by jfroco 2012-05-01T23:43:00

I liked the music loop and the graphics.

Aether by Danik 2012-04-26T02:32:00

I got a big enough hole sometimes that stopped me from going forward. I'd hide down in the cave and hope it leveled out but no luck. Pretty fun game though. Shooting the missiles was fun. I really liked the music.

Pro Stew Chugger by Tourgen 2012-04-23T02:00:00

BIG NOTE: Controls - XBOX360 supported and highly recommended (dual analog stick shooter). WASD, Arrow keys, and mouse aiming is also supported if no joystick is detected.

Pro Stew Chugger by Tourgen 2012-04-23T02:15:00

CHEATS AND HACKS

Mash F11 to spawn power-ups at the four corner spawn points. It gets fun with max fire rate and max speed.

F12 to take a screenshot.

I apologize for the wall collisions in narrow areas. My post-compo version already has it fixed. Keyboard movement is better to.

Pro Stew Chugger by Tourgen 2012-04-23T21:24:00

Yep, I didn't have time to add more visual feedback. Its not a great entry :(. I'm just glad it worked for you without crashing.

Pro Stew Chugger by Tourgen 2012-04-25T06:40:00

I tied game logic to vsync, and some graphics cards don't support it so it runs "full speed". There is a POSTCOMP build in the ZIP file now that throttles the framerate, fixes collisions for the player and doors, and sadly rips out all the music (was causing crashes)

Pro Stew Chugger by Tourgen 2012-04-27T04:14:00

@robcozzens I looked through the Chrome Native Client SDK but didn't see joystick support. If they ever get it in there I'll port it over - it would be really easy. The source should compile under XCode. You'd have to collect GLFW, Portaudio, and SOIL for mac (not hard). I'd do it but I don't have a mac.

Pro Stew Chugger by Tourgen 2012-05-05T13:46:00

wow I didn't expect any positive feedback at all, I was just happy to get something done. Anyway, ripping out all the door combo stuff. It wasn't a good idea. Redrawing the gfx, making it more of just a straight-up SmashTV rip with frogs and snakes and whatnot. I'm learning SO MUCH just getting that much done :)

Bunny Cube by Sebby 2012-04-26T03:38:00

I liked it. Pretty interesting.

Mitochondrion by Rybar 2012-04-28T05:26:00

looks good, cool idea

Interstellar Moai Ranger by Shifty 2012-04-27T03:53:00

Awesome! I loved it! An joystick controls too! They were a little touchy but still good. I didn't beat the boss my first try but I'm going to take another crack at him. Great work.

12 Days in a Snow Globe by derdragon 2012-04-26T02:41:00

great graphics and kind of a cool game idea with things working pretty well. Yeah the harvesting key combo is a little strange.

Planet Waves by attagcatc 2012-05-01T23:38:00

It works, I don't know I thought it was pretty easy to understand after reading the help screen. I just didn't find the game mechanic fun. It's a cool idea though and maybe it could be applied in some other way?

Rambros by Black Ships Fill the Sky 2012-05-05T13:37:00

pretty great. amazing pixel art.

Cube World by FireSlash 2012-05-02T00:01:00

This is my favorite Jam game so far. It's polished and the music is great. The game is fun, nice work guys.

Sword of Altaria by shard123 2012-05-01T02:46:00

Loved it. I was wrecking guys with the sword of atlantia! The hit radius on that thing is GREAT! The sprites were pretty decent and you worked in a final boss and cut scenes. Nice job.

A Load of Bulls... by Frib 2012-04-28T13:35:00

nice selection of weapons and cool looking enemies, also the curved world adds a lot to it. I had fun just jumping around and playing with the rockets.

Faelanx by arkeus 2012-04-29T03:14:00

amazing game, great work

Breathe by mcc 2012-04-29T05:33:00

no description of inputs to be found anywhere

Little Mischief Makers by netguy204 2012-04-29T21:21:00

great music, I couldnt figure out what the mitten tool did. I assume that's just me though and everything was working alright.

Galactic Taxi by remeh 2012-04-30T16:29:00

I love these kind of games but I don't have a working linux box atm. Couldn't rate.

River Runner by omaha 2012-04-24T04:59:00

It looks good and plays alright. It would benefit from an analog control input - joystick or even h-axis on the mouse. Or possibly not instantly re-centering on key-up.

ResourceCollector by SaiKai 2012-04-25T06:33:00

I got a decent sized planet but I didn't have enough leveled up gear to clear out the boss planet. Pretty fun, the controls are a little rough on the hands though.

Hopeless by DragonSix 2012-04-28T22:59:00

couldn't play it, shows a purple full-screen and doesn't do anything

Snow Globe Kerfuffle by j_peeba 2012-04-27T22:35:00

great game. fairly fun. cool concepts and really good music

Sirus the Virus by eburn184 2012-04-25T03:09:00

Good game, I'm just bad at it. I couldnt do the 3 stacked jump that alternated directions.

Globe by gavin5564 2012-04-24T04:46:00

Getting to the end and seeing the payoff was pretty cool. I liked it.

TinyGiant by triggs 2012-04-26T03:41:00

I like it! Needs xbox controller support.

Tiny Shooter by Strkl 2012-04-28T22:44:00

getting more guys every screen was nice. I really liked the way the bullets spray everywhere. The flat shading works pretty well too.

The Plane Walker by Danvil 2012-04-29T05:21:00

I like it. The world is cool. I like jumping around using the portals and exploring.

Nano Ascension by mikelovesrobots3 2012-04-28T05:34:00

pretty good start. camera and mouse-look need some help. I had fun.

Cereal Killer by J0hnjwj 2012-04-26T02:28:00

Really great game. I wish the jumping controls where a little more variable so I could jump without mashing head into spikes. Sometimes the screen jumped around quickly which I think was a collision thing. but very good!

Tiny Defenders by Raptor85 2012-04-24T05:05:00

I really liked it. Fighting bugs is just fun I guess. It all worked and was pretty straight forward to figure out.

SUPER SPACE MINER by Cosine 2012-04-27T04:03:00

Really a pretty fun game. With just a bit of experimenting I was able to figure out what was going on. You made playing around with it easy too with instant restarts. Nice work.

Green Invasion by Kableado 2012-04-27T22:40:00

I liked running after the green guys. A tail sting or claw snap animation would have been really cool! The lighting effect/screen border was really nice.

Rush Hour by Cryptoporticus 2012-04-27T04:21:00

Wow pretty hard but well executed. The controls are pretty decent and everything is nice and smooth. I made it up quite a ways a few times but never to the top. Getting fuel was really tough.

Backyard Pirates by bompo 2012-05-01T02:18:00

Fairly polished and everything worked fine. Moving around and sinking ships was pretty fun. a sea monster or a different ship model would have been cool.

Celia by Finn Stokes 2012-04-26T03:06:00

Very nice graphics. Cool mechanic and good fit with the theme. The later levels designs are more guess-and-check than good application of the mechanic though.

Link by Dax 2012-04-29T16:51:00

Great game! I'm pretty average at these types of routing puzzle games and the difficulty was just about perfect. There are plenty of levels. Two of the later levels are a little easier, which makes the difficulty curve a little uneven but certainly no big deal for a 48hr compo game! The controls were solid and easy to understand. I loved the touch with the story and text scenes. Allowing the player to enter a name was small but very cool touch too. Great work.

Escape from Minimars by Adhesion 2012-04-30T16:40:00

AHAHAH FANTASTIC! I love this game. I got 460 kills. Not bad! The music is awesome, the pixel art is awesome. The game is pretty fun and has solid controls and movement. I had serious slow-downs in level 7 and 9 - erratic framerates.

Tiny World Hero by ddr2 2012-04-29T16:02:00

not enough visual feedback of what is going on. I got the bars to move by pressing buttons but it wasn't clear what keys built which buildings.

Combat Cubes by bigbadwofl 2012-04-25T06:06:00

Impressive achievement in 48 hours. I played it more than once. It's pretty fun. The music is good too.

The Lair by Lilleman 2012-04-26T05:48:00

Solid platformer in 48 hours. I died on the boss :X I wasn't expecting a boss fight so that was really cool. The jump is a little slow up/down but the air control is pretty nice.

GRIDiots by Taugeshtu 2012-04-26T02:53:00

The graphics have a cool look. I though it fit the theme pretty well. The controls aren't great though.

Magma Defense by kj654321 2012-04-28T22:32:00

pretty fun game
