Nice concept!

matthias_zarzecki 2012-04-23 09:22

Lovely idea! THis could be wonderfully extended.

chartinboy 2012-04-23 09:37

Not 100% sure why, but I friggin love this! whenI lsot the first time, I though "oh, ok, this is decent, I guess. one more game to check it out, then i'm done"...I'm now on twenty, maybe 30 plays?... (also love the cell shaded graphics and mini toon pics)

papygaragos 2012-04-23 13:52

after 5 plays I don't get how i can influence the outcome of the fight...

bezza 2012-04-23 15:10

Really nice concept but if you had bit more control over the fights it would be amazing.

myfrosch 2012-04-23 16:17

Nice game idea. I'm missing a little more action. Click 4 times and win...

izzimach 2012-04-23 19:47

Thanks for trying the game guys!

Yeah, I ran out of time so the game doesn't have much tactical depth. The easiest way to win is to wait until one of the enemies breaks off from the others and then drop all four of your guys on top of him to take him out before the other enemies get there. I think the game really needs some more distinctive monster abilities and controls.

Definitely a solid foundation here; monsters look cool, good use of the Unity cartoon shader. Obviously lacks a bit of depth but a really nice start to a game.

kunonooni 2012-04-23 22:48

HAHA! I love it!

gremlin 2012-04-24 00:27

Lovely idea, would play more levels...

vitou3d 2012-04-24 12:46

Great game!!!! Fun to play!

jeroenimooo 2012-04-24 16:01

More levels would make it better, right now you can win really fast

fabricio-brito 2012-04-24 16:33

I really enjoyed the IA implemented. Even the bugs, when they can't get around objects is OK, because the player can plan to drop behind it. Nice work and it would be great to see an expansion, with more levels, more controls, more monsters, special powers, health gauge, etc... congrats (best review so far)!

frankthetank 2012-04-28 16:04

Great idea and I love the graphics! But I think a bit more control over the fight would be good, because right now I just drop all my monsters on the world and that's it :) I would also love to see more levels.

tourgen 2012-04-29 03:44

Kind of a cool concept but it needs a little more for the player to do. Some idea on monster stat differences and strategic use would be cool too. Good use of the theme.

yselftool 2012-04-29 10:49

Like the graphics, (Cel Shading!), but the gameplay is a little bit small. Set monsters and watch them running - and then?

hybridmind 2012-05-03 05:06

I like the cartoony outlines and models. I do wish the gameplay was a bit more involved. I felt a lot of the battles just were won by me creating my four monsters as fast as possible near each other so they could get lucky (hopefully) and destroy the other ones. Amusing to watch, like one of those minigames where you bet on a side and see if you win or not. The voice sfx made me laugh, those are often my favorite in a compo like this.

spooks 2012-05-03 21:54

Very nice, I liked the gameplay a lot! An post-comp update with more monsters/level would be great, I really enjoyed it

kevinworkman 2012-05-04 00:00

This could be an interesting concept, but it needs a clearer relationship between what the player does and what the player is supposed to achieve. With that and some variety, this could be a fun little game.

catman 2012-05-04 12:27

Loved the monster meshes with that oversized toon line :)

The concept is good, expand it, I want to see what can be done :D
