Ohh, someonemade an artsy-fartsy game^^ (not serious. we need more of those)
It's quite beautiful in its simplicity.

Ohh, someonemade an artsy-fartsy game^^ (not serious. we need more of those)
It's quite beautiful in its simplicity.
Well, that was fun.
I did have a problem with the Z/X-controls, as in "german keyboards have Y and Z exchanged", and I had to make some unconfortable hand-movements.
Haha! The way the title of the game appears at the start is brilliant.
button masher. nice.
..can he swim?
The voice sells this one.
the combination of minimalist art and audio ist beautiful.
On the gameplay-side, the beginning is good, but it gets tedious and grindy quite fast.
I want to figure out what is going to happen, but it's sooo slow.
Oh, that's the "trick". cool.
This is a quite interesting take on the runner-genre. And I oly figured out that you can move 30 secs in
that's quite interesting, and I like the minimalist grahics, which somehow still manage to look good.
quite solid platformer.
This thing has potential... I like the survival-aspect of it. Drop somewhere and expand, or DIE. Also, the music is catchy (although it doesn't loop cleanly)
Although there are bugs and balancing-issues, the biggest annoyance would be the fact that once inside the game, you have no idea what to actually do, and only trial+errortofind out.
Still fun though :-)
This is great! I love the screen-effects and the ambiguity of it all.
I did however only later saw I had a health-bar. It's gettting obscrued so small in the upper corner.
This was fun. Although I think the combat doesn't work.
Amazing to see how it does work without having any graphics :-)
This is so far the best take on the theme I have seen so far.
...So I got stuck around level 4. Got a walktrhough?
"Unfortunately, so do ZOMBIES" <- great
Also, servers. Neat.
Quite impressive (especially for game maker). I really like the swirly numbers.
This is great! The character-movement is fun, and it looks gorgeous.
It is however quite possible to play yourself into a dead end by needing to pickup all pickups.
This is beautifully simple. I also like the blue/black combo.
It made me cry.
this is in interesting idea, but it need some balancing. Also, I don't think I understood the "death"-mechanic (or it's bugged)
Cool idea, although it is hard.
I like the title.
The idea is fun, although there is still some balacning to be done. What bugged me was the cloak hanging right behind you, with the magical macguffing hidden behind it. I didn't occur to me to look 1. behind myself, 2. behing the cloak, so I just ran around trying to not die. Only later I spotted that thing.
And this really needs "more crap". As in, background. Objects (clouds?) in the horizon. Maybe a terrain. Some empty spaces in the wall(?). have some broken wall-pieces lying around, thsi creates obstacles and atmosphere.
Nicely done :-)
"in the sense that you must be carrying a cat to survive the dangers ahead" indeed sir, indeed.
Graphics are fitting andplays smoothly. But is the character of the deathbots that sells it. Also, Bonus for being able to ignore the tutorial.
Blitz, eh? Good to see that program used here :-)
I like it. The Sonar-idea, the green hue, the minimalist style.
But it is ridiculously trial'n'error. For every bit of progress I have to die first. What this need is a longer sonar-time. A clearer distiction between safe tiles and death-tiles. More checkpoints. And only one button to jump, because with ASD in use my mind keeps switching to WSAD-controls.
This is awesome (that is, once figured out what actually to do). The Parallax-effect is also beautiful, but clutters the screen and distracts somewhat fromthe action (giving me a headache)
this is nifty. I expecially like the lo-fi story-approach (ship in background first, then exposition)
Another unity-game,sweet.
Nice game.It feels very "complete". Also bonus on the atmossphere. It is truly one of the most uncomfortable ones I ever played in. The voices sell it :-)
Well, this is beautiful.
But what is "appy"? Is it the main character? Is it his way of saying "happy"? Is ot short for "apply"? Or does the game show up way more at the top of the website if it begins with an A? I guess we'll never know the true meaning of this mystery...
I think what sells it though is the movement of the character. I have no idea wheter this was made on purpose or is just a generous side-effect, but it seems as though the character moves within the pixels of the grid-world, he doens't just slide along the scenery. Subtle, but very important.
Now that the praise is out of the way, time for some contructive criticism :-) :
- The level-screen-jump-thingie is disorientating the first time, but works otherwise. Especially at the end, when it conveys a sense of motion.
- The "old man" is tricky. It is after all the main cliché given with the theme itsself, but he is placed at the best point possible, so it doesn't appear immediatly as a ripoff or an uninspired design-choice, but more of a hommage.
- The level-design is a lot of trial'n'error. As in, you have to die before you figure out the basic rules of the world.
- At first the theme seems completely ignored. It becomes apparent at 3/4 of the game, but doesn't seem tacked on or forced into a character, but rather woven into the game-structure ittself, out of which it evolves.
- The fall at the end and the jetpack don't mix well. It would be a poor design-choice to take the jetpack away from the player, risking the flow of the player. Does the player use the jetpack however, it somehow destroys the scene. noooooooooo WHEE! nooooooooooo
- I have the feeling that once enemies start blowing up scenery it might be possible to get stuck in a dead end. Or there are too few of them to have any impact.
- This is strong Stuff. Drugs, death, lovely blobs that turn into suicide-bombery, creepy ... things, I used to get nightmares from things like these.
Also, I'm not sure if any sounds would have made it better (blowing of the wind? A subtler, slower, benny-hill-esque fun-romp? nah...). It sits at the same point silhouettes and books (and other stuff) are, where the player substitutes the empty space with whatever is perfect in the players mind. Matching that is impossible, and given the timespan of the contest adding sounds would run the risk of destryong more of the gameworld than improving it.
Or you ran out of time and couldn't be arsed. I guess we'll never know... :-)
Also: pressing space to sontinue the chat-windows was kinda unnecessary... "any key" would not only have sufficed, but streamlined the controls more.
Here's herding cats, ain't that adorable :-)
That death-meachnaic is pretty good.
that's a nice mechanic. But unfortunately it's very hard, and since you can only shoot where you are going somehwat frustrating.
jesus this is hard. The color-mechanic has potential though :-)
ohh, a runner. The graphics and sound are amazingly atmosspheric. Nice work.
Now the bad stuff:
- Loose the introduction. Too much text, no interest to read. Want to run
- Some signs are quite hard to evade
- The "enemies XXm behind you" is quite bad to read.
- All the signs say is "Ludum"? really?
- duccking and jumping slows you down to much. If it would be tweaked a little bit, so that it's more of a fluid motion in need of precise timing, this would bemuch better.
This is quite good. I want to see more of it.
Nice little adventure. I love the background (although I know it's probably a photoshop-filter)
Also, the there's a little bug. After you exit the last vines to the right side, the climb-texture will still be displayed.
this idea is fun, but collecting the ball is tedious. It's almost as s you were punished for using the main feature of the game.
Interesting idea to use facebook as a platform.
Then again, forcing people to join up on facebook is a tremendously bad idea.
The sound is nice
Haha! this intire "fun"-world, with the bobbing objects and other assorted nonsense is brilliant.
Bonus points for alliteration.
Oh. You aren't actually the central big green thing. Now I get it.
I love the flow in this. It plays beautifully.
That's a quite novel mechanic.
Cool that you like it :-)
And that bug is correct. I guess it was a last-minute codechange screw-up.
Fixed it ^^
Indeed.
Multiplayer....now that's interesting. I'm writing that down.
Well, it's dangerous for them to go alone. Take this medpack/healing-thing!
Just having somebody say "It's dangeorus... " is the most boring take on the theme I can imagine. I rather weave it into the base-strucutre of the game ittself.
I can't help it I always read it as "requesting cursing"
I love the jokes. "you found 50 shotgun shells"^^
this is great! But I somehow miss the ability to rescue myself out of water, because that really is a 4-6 second period of dying.
"Now it is less dangerous to go alone" and "spaaaaaaaccceee" made me smile :-)
Also, that improved movement-speed by pressing d and right together makes it a lot better.
Haha! this is awesome. The two music tracks, the contrast between them. Checkpoint-placing is also good.
Wow, that's interesting. I like the blocky characters.
Now on to the bad stuff:
- Putting movement on WSAD and attack on LeftCtrl is not a good idea. Not at all.
- While the blocky chracters are unity, the rest of the terrains and the "blobs" are not (or do not look like the characters)
- That camera-swwop at the beginning was somewhat unecessary. And gave me motion sickness.
Neat. Especially the commentary :-)
So I just noticed: The Triorce may be upside down, but at least that stops it from being a ripoff/homage, and makes it a "generic magical macguffin", which I figure is technically better :-)
That fiel-hoster is infuriating. Try dropbox.
Anyhoo. The game.
Cars! sweet. Monster-Cars, even. No. Trucks, even! Too bad you can't really do anything.
This one really has /all/ the clichees, including the completely generic music themes and the completely pre-defined story. It's quite impressive in that way.
....wait a second... this is minesweeper! (and a good one indeed. There should be more usage of that idea)
it's cute and funny ("you totally died"), and I like the unique and bold color-scheme :-)
ohh, funky.
Quite impressive for game Maker. But as they (I) say, "it's not the weapon that winds the battle, but the soldier who wields it" /pretentious
Anyhoo. This is really funny. I especially love the comments on the health-bar :-)
Haha! This idea is great. Although it is kinda tedious (slow), and switching between both screens is hard.
This water-idea is sweet!
..Adn tremendously difficult and frustrating to play. The introdutcion is unwieldy, the conrols are clunky, unintuitive and slow.
"Press return to start"
...That doesn't make sense. :-)
At first I thought that this would be intensely hard, but then I realised it's quite the opposite actually. It#s fun, but waaaaay to easy.
Aren't those Mega-Man animations?
The ending is good. "and then he died"^^
The download is wonky (= won't work)
The "dropbox"-tool/service is quite reliable and free. It should provide a working alternative (is what I thaink he was trying to say :-) )
Idea has indeed potential.
Well this is.... dementedly difficult. And quite brilliant :-) Well done.
Well this has potential.
Well, this is fun. Although this entire thing is need of some balancing. You die way to easy, and the levels force you to clear several obstacles at one.
Less enemies and maybe a central checkpoint would decrease my rage-quit-factor immensly :-)
Quite interesting.
I have no idea what is going on in there, but the gameplay is increedibly understanable and compelling.
Also, it's great how the "chevy ray"-page works as a sort-of tutorial and explains the cuboid monsters :-)
Nice MGS-vibe! (too much text at the beginning however)
Nice idea, but it is quite hard to play.
This plays quite lovely. Nice work!
Nice work on the clinging-mechanic.
Interesting idea with the invisible walls (that is, if that is a feature, not a placeholder/bug :-) )
Wow, des level is quite cool.
Alas, I think this game has "feature-overload". It's not only first-person mouse-controlled, but also a runner-game, and has the gravity-switch-feature. Together with the 3-sec introduction (during which you can' move or do anything) the first plays are very confusing.
Twin-stick-shooter. Neat.
Nice concept! The sound-effects really elevate this.
The graphics are quite dreamy, and the panic of not finding a hotspot within the time with the increasing breathing is a neat gag. Unfortunately the hotspot-scanning doesn't work quite as a agood game-mechanic.
I like the asthetics, they're quite unique.
Also interesting how the enemies ile onto you after some time :-)
Funky controls. They are just in the sweet-spot of "not immediately understood" and "interested to master".
Nice concept.
So the important question is of course: Why doesn't it play Ride of the Valkyrie? :-)
Nice take on the runner-genre. The vector-graphics also seem quite effectively used.
Interesting basis. THis would make for some great ultra-strategic space-battles (Flotilla comes to mind).
Neat idea! I love the spore-vibe.
Nice work!
I love the panicky jump-animation. Level-design is also quite balanced.
What this babdly needs is some rocking background music. Nice work :-)
I love the old sci-fi asthetics. Nice!
Nice idea.
The semi-scrolling level however don't work. They seem to scroll 1 or 2 tiles, which leaves me wondering wheter the levels are supposed to scroll or be completely immobile.
That's a sweet idea. I also like the presentation (although the difficulty ramps up very quickly)
:-)
Nice work. Music is quite fitting.
The breaking-model is quite awesome.
Good lord, what an evil eye.
I like the idea of the mad-dash (perhaps Mirrors Edge style) run for your life, but this needs a lot of polishing and balancing.
0.5 Seconds after you leave the circle the eye goes hostile. Once it start firing, the framerate goes single-diit, and movement becomes impossible.
Oh, this is funny. Also, soundtrack is great.
I think "bullet-hell" is the approriate term :-)
I like the idea of the "passive" shooter. This thing is ridiculously hard though.
The theme and execution are quite unique. The only other time anything came close to this was in Spliter cell 2 :-)
Nice work! Graphics are cool, gameplay is punchy, and effects fit.
This is, however, badly in need of some balancing. You spend a lot of time failing and trying to figure out what to do.
Neat idea.
nice take on "escape"
The premise and title are quite brilliant.
The funny thing is, since it's a game, it makes perfect sense :-).
The intro is also quite great. Funny. To the point. Doesn't sacrifice playability.
Quite interesting. The not-insta-death-spikes however don't work quite.
Nice mechanic and use of the basic functions!
This is fun! the mechanic is brainy, soundtrack is nice and fitting, annd the commentary is brilliant.
Little nitpick: The ui looks like it's part of the level, and the level-design does ramp up extremely fastin difficulty.
This is hrad, but fun. Especially the introduction (but isn't it speeled "spectre"?
The atmossphere is also well done.
Lovely astehtics, with the low-fi environements, comic-graphics and bobbing player :-)
Ohh, tricky. I also like the music and walls :-)
This is great! The soundtrack is magnifiecient too. What tools did you use for that?
I like the idea, it reminds of the Need For Speed quarter mile races.
Also, took me a while to figure out how to accelerate. That instruction needs to be bigger :-)
This is interesting. The relatively complex layout, the ever-rising water, the need to return to the approaching danger, and the metaphor for marriage in asian regions.
Quite interesting indeed :-)
Neat idea! I heaven't seen this feature extended so much before.
This is great. The meachanics have a good amount of heft, the graphics are fun, and the level-layout is quite puzzly.
A downside is however the serious difficulty, but I guess all our games are in need of some days of polishing :-)
Funny. The first words in my game we "Oh Noes!" too :-)
I like this idea, especially the "carrot"-block. It's immeditely recognizable, which is great.
The fog in the menu is a nice gag.
Nice work! The commentary by the guy is great :-)
^^
"Incrediball" was my first choice of name. Unfortunately, there already is an incrediball-game.
nice take on the runner-genre. The title is great, as is "League of Malevolence"
Also, do I spot traces of flixel and the canabalt-sourcecode? :-)
I guess it's just Flixel then (the similar font and placement of icons convinced me).
And the code of Canabalt is actually now open source (which is great), but not the art assets of it.
Nice work. Especially with the minimalist graphics.
This is fun :-)
I especially like the 95-era asthetics.
Love the story-nuggets. The maze-navigation, combined with the zombies is also quite well done.
Ths graphics are quite neat in their lo-fi way. I also like the firefly-idea.
Also, I fell of the level. Unity-colliders have the habit of being scaleable at very steep hills :-)
Nice and solid platformer! I also love the title. Simple. Funny. To the point.
Nice Game!
I especially like the coloful lo-fi approach and the intuitive one-click control.
Ha! This is great, :-)
Also, I think this is the first Kurt-Russel based game here at Ludum Dare.
Neat. Although it took me 2 seconds to realize it was on rails :-)
Nice work.
The hanging-move is neat. The Mechanic is great, but sadly it isn't to much puzzle-effect.
Interesting idea (although you have to get behind the evil character first).
Also, you forgot to mention "hulk-like-super-jump" in the features :-)
We all like the Music by Kevin MacLeod (Incompetech is the correct spelling), but I'm afraid for the 48h-compo EVERYTHING has to be created by yourself.
Like the grey/red art-style.
Nice retro adventure. I like the soundtrack, it conveys the right sense of "movement" and "adventure".
Also, Bug: Stuff doesn't get blown away when it isn't on the same screen. It's like Schroedingers Cat.
Nice work. :-)
Nice idea!
I have the feeling though this would work better as a straight-up runner - your character moves automatically from left to right, all you can do is jump and switch.
Ha, I got it!
It's actually a good puzzle. Easy enough to understand, and just enough possible answers to figure it out.
The big reveal I guess is that the numbers just go to 26 :-)
But there's a zero in there ... so I guess it's 27 possible inputs per number. With 6 numbers, that's just 27^6 permutations!
I tried LD4821 - that wasn't it. Must have been the other thing :-)
So, waht are we escaping? Zombies? Zombies with guns? And there's money, apparently.
Gameplay is solid and fun. Splashing the red dots feels quite hefty.
The title is great. Simple. Sufficient. Explains the game.
I love how it subtely changes into action-music :-)
Gotta love the introduction of Bob :-)
Neat mix of mechanics.
This is great. Especially the gag where you break out of the game-window.
And suddenly there are sumo-wrestlers (makes perfect sense)
(seriously. Remember how games were about italian plumbers taking halluzinogenic mushrooms and riding dinosaurs through pipes?)
The framework is quite polished. I like the extensive menu-structure, and it even takes and saves screenshots!
Neat idea!
Solid platformer!
Interesting idea, though way to much grind.
The death-message is great.
Nice work with the stealth-mechanic!
I like how their field of view is projected with light. Much better than my take on it (ahem)
Nice! I love the scenes where you switch modes and go a level "higher". The rotating terrain also helps a lot.
Neat idea!
Recognizing wheter a guy has been saved or om-nommed is quite tricky however. Bigger animations/effects would be quite useful.
This is fun. I like it :-)
This has neat portal-vibe, and the music is quite fitting. Unfortunately it's quite short, and the jumping is kinda flaky.
This feels strangely like sudoku :-)
Neat mechanic. I also like hoe the levels ramp up in difficulty.
There seeem to be, however, a lot of ways to get stuck.
Good god, the death-messages are depressing. It's now just "you are dead" but "you died MISERABLY".
Anyhoo, nice game :-)
A quite good puzzler. Easy introdutction, then the difficulty ramps up, and introduces new variations. good work.
The jokes are quite good as well :-)
Neat. especially the evilness of not actually seeing the ground :-)
I'm afraid this thing crashes my machine (sorry :-) )
Nice work! I like the music and gameplay, but this is quite hard and unforgiving.
This is pretty sweet take on the avoider-games.
Wonderful work on the balancing and level-design side. The difficulty feels almost every time "just right".
This is a quite good basis for a puzzler/platformer, although in need of some balancing and polish. The background is also quite nice :-)
This is awesome. the graphics are cool, and the gameplay is quite nice.
This is a neat idea! (but in need of balancing. This is incredibly hard)
I also like the mumbled voices (remind of Blendo-games). How do you create those?
This would make a great co-op game.
This is fun! especially the panic-moment right after you are spotted :-)
This is aquite fun idea.
I did have some problems however with the tutorial-text, which was quite hard to read, and the fact that you needed to illuminate it. Also, the enemies were quite hard and unforgiving.
Nice work - especially the evil machine of doom.
What I didn't like was the positive feedback-loop that happens once you hit something. As soon as that happens, you get slower, you hit more stuff, the evil machine of doom comes closer, the screen gets smaller, and the difficulty ramps up, forcing you to play perfect right from the start.
Neat puzzles. The graphic-style of pink + green is also quite impressive.
Y and Z. Brilliant. Why can't all devs do this.
This is a nice idea and implementation. I especially like the momentum.
Oh, artsy it is. I like the idea.
Nice idea. I love the handling of the car.
This is a nnice idea, but I think the scoring goes in the wrong direction.
Right now you are punished for excessive movement and destuction - But that is fun! I imagines this as a hapless bird trying to escape in panic, destroying everything in its path, which is much funnier than a precise avian leaving the building.
Still nice work though :-)
Nice work! I liek the graphics and the soundtrack.
The gameplay, however, is enragingly hard. On touch kills me in this clustered level, and the flying space-police-cars can just go through stuff?
"We had to cut down all the pine-trees to make emergency toliet-paper during the 50-year-squirts" <- reminds me of that :-)
Nice idea.
Noooo why did you make me burn the picture :-(
This is great. The artsytle is lovely, adventure-mechanics solid, and the story beautifully simple.
Nice work!
Neat idea, but it's sooo hard.
That's fun. Also, I think I broke the game.
One more thing (to all devs): Z and Y are swapped on german keyboards. It is enraging having to deal with games that assume x and z are next to each other.
Nice solid work!
The basic mechanic (collect stuff) is nice, and the size of the island is just big enough for exploration, but not too big to get lost.
Novel idea and gameplay, solid graphics. Nice work!
This. Is. Awesome.
I love. The characters, the idea, the setting, movement is nice, shooting guys is fun. And suddenly he's on a snowboard. Makes perfect Sense. Brilliant.
Also, this is quite impressive for Game Maker.
I like this so much I'm even going to give you some contructive criticism!
- This needs Music. Badly. try this guy, he offers some nice free-to-use tracks http://incompetech.com/
- The wall-climbing-mechanic isn't entirely intuitive. I thought I can wall-jump onto the catwalk (which is background apparently), but wall-climbing to an area outside of the screen is a) not good game-design and b) a very advanced move, nothing for the first room.
- Enemy AI spazzes out sometimes (i.e. they walk in place)
- Pickups are boring
- After you die and respawn with 1 health you usually die again, as you are one-shotted
- Boss-fight is alright, but the missiles suck. They don't explode, they can't be shut down, they down swirl around. Right now they are just a slow bullet.
- The death-text is hard to read and doesn't make sense. Fix it.
Seriously, this is a neat game.
Make more of it!
-Matthew
This is fun! Also, the presentation is lovely.
A problem though is the size of the pickups. They are quite small, and I can never tell if they are supposed to be pickups or enemy attacks.
This has great level-design. Every area is quite different to the last.
The timing of the evil thingie is almost perfect. He's seen just long enough for you to notice something isn't right :-)
Lovely title.
This is fun, but ridiculously hard.
One-button, and double-escape. brilliant.
Nice work!
I like the humour, the jurassic-park-references, the lovely "What could go wrong"-approach, and the "it's a videogame"-logic.
Neat, although in need of some balancing.
Nice runner and music, but the graphics are somewhat inconclusive. I couldn't really tell the good pickups from the obstacles, and everything kinda blends together.
This idea is quite interesting. Too bad you didn't have more time.
Ohh... artsy. Nice approach to the theme! :-)
So... I escape the lava by going deeper in the earth, close to lava?
Neat. And Panicky :-)
I also suspected you could just dig yourself in a high corner and sit it out. Nope. Doesn't work.
This idea is so far the most unique I have seen.
Nice work!
Stealth-game! Yes!
The soundtrack is also quite fitting.
Neat idea. The progress trhough the story, combined with the minigames is also well done.
You really start to think "leave my lettuce alone!"
Nice little adventure.
Nice work! Fun little puzzler.
Nice game! the carnage is fun, the setting aswell, and the music strangely fits very well.
Oh, this is great :-).
exploration + ressource-gathering is fun, and the "this guy died of dyssentry"-vibe is fun. Reminds me positively of "Infinite Adventures" / "Flotilla" / what do you call this genre" - games.
Nice work!
Oh, this is great.
Makes me even look over the bugs :-)
exploration + ressource-gathering is fun, and the "this guy died of dyssentry"-vibe is fun. Reminds me positively of "Infinite Adventures" / "Flotilla" / what do you call this genre" - games.
Nice work!
Nice work! Love the asthetics and the humour :)
Nice graphics and atmosphere! Too bad there wasn't more time to flesh (ha) it out.
Lovely game and nice take on "alone". The cat was great.
Nice game. Like the jumping-mechanic.
Nice little minigame. Too bad there isn't more of it.
Solid gameplay and nice graphics. This has a lot of potential.
Spooky. Nice grain-effect.
Solid little playtformer. Love the animations :-)
Alright, now the parts that don't work: Screen-changes are sudden, abrupt, and gave me a mild case of motion sickness near the end. Controls on Z+X = bad, german and french keyboards have different layouts, have to distort hand (X+C is no problem, however). Fighting the ravens isn't much fun, fighting ground-enemies would be more so. The health-regen was quite slow, so slow in fact it was more efficient to tab out.
Still, awesome work. Keep it up! :-)
Nice work on the story. I like how it is told within the gameplay.
Nice graphical setup. Game-idea is good too, but it was difficult figuring out the rules.
Uhh, spooky. And somewhat unnerving. Interesting psychological work!
The self-illuminating door-markers are a neat touch but I think the activation_range of the workstations is a tad too short. The first 4 I walked past thinking I didn't activate them.
Ha, awesome idea!
Quite beautiful. The die-effect is wonderful aswell.
Nice platformer! Gameplay is solid and fun, and the soundtrack is quite cool.
Impressive! Although somewhat difficult.
Cool game! I like how well-rounded and "complete" it is :-).
The hackking-minigame is fun, but it quickly becomes a random trial+error, especially after the 2-stage-panels. The mouse-cursor was also problematic, as it always leaves the window. Put "Screen.lockCursor = true" in the Start() of any object, that should fix it. (also, the pillar at the kitten-crates is missing a collider)
Nice work!
Love the lo-fi style.
Well, it feels like a non-sequitur of a game. Still kinda interesting, though. Pickups are funny.
Well, that was depressing. Interesting mechanics though :-)
Spooky. The bumpmaps work also quite well.
Nice idea, although in need of some fleshing out. Like the mood and particles.
Seems like a bug.Having multiple plathroughs in one setting wasn't in the time-budget :-)
Thanks for the constructive criticism so far!
I agree, there is a sort-of slump in the middle. Having a new puzzle/obstacle each day would've really been perfect.
Answers! The locked door can't be opened. It's a tease, putting the solution to all you problems just outside your reach.
There are two endings, but it's not possible so save both yourself and Boxy (unless you experiment with that rollover-bug that has just been discovered, but then it would still trigger one of the previous endings).
oops. Turns out I didn't create new mac- and win-builds after I made the (minor) bugfixes, so the red door is closed on mac. There's nothing in there, just the room from the intro.
Nice platformer! Puzzles and water mechanic are quite good.
Awesome mechanic! I love it.
FEEL-GOOD GAME OF THE DECADE
Interesting little thing. I like the monochromatic asthetic, and the soudntrack fits aswell.
I think there's a bug with the boat-scale. I suppose it's supposed to be smaller.
Ha, sweet title. Love the idea and the music, and the colorful presentation is nice aswell.
Like the salvo-effect. Feels hefty. Mood is nice aswell.
I like the code-breaking-minigame, it's quite intuitive. The 3d-interface is interesting aswell, but the lookAt(player) doesn't work quite (it looks at my chest, not the head). Perhaps it isn't even necessary.
Fighting is quite fun.
Nice story! It has aliens and twists and a guy named Jack Asskicker and everything!
The stereo-thing is a bit problematic though. And I'm not sure exactly when the buildings started smiling, but it must have symbolized Jack Asskickers descent into madness.
Awesome game! Love the walk-animation, and the mechanics work quite well. Also, it oozes cuteness.
Nice one! I like the lemming-aspect, and there is a huge potential for dozens of level here.
Nice idea! Snakes are terryffying, and the low-health-effect works quite well.
Well, this was unnecessary cruel :-)
I like the puzzle-aspect. they're just complicated enough so you can't quite master it, and even if you think there still is room for experimentation.
Fun idea! There is just too little leeway when avoiding stuff.
Awesome work!
The 2d/3d-effect was brilliant, and I chuckled and the engine-noises :-)
Great gag with the title! Gameplay is also quite solid.
I fell in a ditch and died.
Awesome! Solid adventurer. Nice work.
Cute platformer!
Shift-key is problematic, as it causes windows-popup
Sweet. Perfectly gets the "one more level"-feeling.
Sweet parallax-effect.
Interesting little surreal experience.
This is a great idea. Soundtrack is beautifully fitting.
Ha, this is fun. And ridiculously hard.
Nice adventurer! There is alot of depth in there, once you get far enough and see the glut of items.
One minor problem: Having look up/down on A/Z means in the german key-layout (I'm forced to use) up/down is actually on A and Z.(having the key on, say, S/X would not produce this)
Still, nice complete game!
Nice concept. I Like how the game just works, without any long explanation or intro.
Love the intro.
HA!. Fun.
Quite solid platformer.
Nice work on the graphics, it has a solid low-fi-aproach.
Now to the not-so-solid-parts: The intro is quite complicated, as you have to navigate a dark room with obstacles without knowing what's going on. At that point you don't even know you're in an ego-perspective.
A lot of the collider malfunction. I can't get up the stairs, clip through the door annd keep getting stuck on the stones outside the house.
"Press E to interact" is displayed after you have been forced to "interact" several times already. This is not helping.
The green self-illuminated boxes are helpful when finding stuff, but it was confusing to see them suddenly "switch on". After they disappeared, I wasn't sure whter I could interact with anything that didn't have the green box.
The dimensions of the level (rooms, objects) are like in an actual house. This doesn't work in a game, let alone in an ego-perpestive. As a human you have a vision-"cone" with a width of ~200°. In the ego-perspective you view is about 55-60°. Imagine you stuck in a refridgerator-box with a hole in it. Levels compensate by being larger and more spacious, which also prevents you getting stuck in the geometry.
Also, the jumping from the basic fps-controller in ridiculousy high.
All in all this is a good basis, with massive room for improvement and big-fixes. Also impressive how everything has been done using basic unity-assets and tools.
Keep up the good work!
Unity-game with moody ambient-music, featuring adventure-style-click-controls, and an oxygen-feature about being stuck in space?
It seems we both made the same game :-) (well, it's funny how many similarities there are)
Solid gameplay and idea. Oxygen-mechanic is harsh and prohibits exploration, however. The Black frame also makes you feel shut in.
Nice platforming-mechanic! Love the spike-suicide.
Interesting work. I like the exploraiton and the graphics. But alas, this is in dire need of some balancing and bug-fixes.
The intro is way too long. I re-started this game 4 times, and slogging thorugh the dialogue was boring. The instructions say the right mouse-button does sth, but in webbuilds it opens a link to the Unity-page.
Also, lovely blur-effect when thirsty. Keep up the good work!
Nice puzzle-concept.
Interesting surreal explorer. I love how the fog just barely keeps you from seeing the next light-orb.
Kudos also for the sound-effects. They are noticeable, but so subtle I thought they came from outside (i.e. not from the game)
Love the music. What program did you use?
Figured it out, it's Mixcraft. Nice work on the composing.
Neat idea, once you figure out to move.
Amazing feature :-)
It's even chemically correct :-)
Nice little puzzler! Graphics are solid, but the level-design of the first level didn't work at all. Trying to figure out the controls and the objective will cause you to die. Level 2 is much better for that.
I love it. The idea is great, and gameplay is quite meaty. Music is nice and fitting aswell.
That's a lovely asthetic. The sound fits also quite well. And why is this so sad *SOB* nothing sad happens
Awesome work!
Graphics are neat, gameplay is solid and challenging, and the sound compliments it well. Bonus points for being "complete".
That being said, the Bouncing Boobs(TM) are a bit much, aren't they?
Love the title of the game.
Interesting little shooter. has quite some potential.
Nice idea!
Love the intro and the resulting "alone"-theme, where you get the motivation for the rest of the story. Good puzzles.
AND WHY DO THE BLOCKS LAUGH AT ME WHATS SO FUNNY
Ending is gut-wrenching (i.e. good). Reminds me of the things you have to do with the in my game :-)
I have no idea what's going on, but it's fun.
Lovely. Game-design is great, and the presentation/story aswell. Nice work!
This could easily adapted into a space-thingie.
Awesome gameplay-idea.
Well, the graphics are awesome. Movement is solid.
Interesting story-concept.
Nice asthetic, too bad there isn't more of it.
Impressive. Most impressive indeed.
Love the cupcake. Cute. And amazing how many butter-jokes are in there :-)
ha, fun idea. "Cat herder" would also have been an appriate title.
Ahh, lovely. Also, wonderful level-design.
This is great. I love the sound and the effective non-interface. Nice work!
Awesome idea, although it is a bit difficult to get the hang of it.
Nice little gag :-)
Love the graphics. It's a quite unique style.
Nice idea! .but it is ridiculously hard and punishing. I also like how the terrain-cubes vary in shades.
Nice work using limited assets! I think perhaps it might be better if the balls were a bit slower, right now they can feel random.
Looks interesting, but the massive mouse-speed is making it impossible to advance meaningfully.
Great idea! It could use a more balanced introduction, though. Just one ship, e.g.
Really nice aesthetic. I like how the navigation feels like in an old text-adventure.
Ha, this is great.
Nice work one the colors! It's quite moody, and I like the white-effect. ...that being said, what am I actually doing? Is only moving backwards a feaure or a bug?
And the quit-button in the web-version is rather useless, don't you think? All it does is make the game unplayable, but still /there/.
Addicting little runner. Nice work!
Beautiful graphics. Gameplay could be a bit punchier, though.
Quite lovely graphics.
Lovely idea!
It's amazing how much the text improves this! Nice work on the gameplay too.
That was fun. Also, I had no idea what was going on.
Love the tunneling-mechanic. Feels very worms-y.
Nice game! Feels quite polished too.
What doesn't work is that after an asteroid has been pushed out of the level it still can hit the planet, which feels arbitrary.
Quite interesting and brainy concept!
"Easy", yeah right :P
Wonderful graphics and idea. It might be a little too complicated to immediately understand, though. Even after 5min I'm not really sure what I'm suppoed to do and how I actually performed.
This is a fun idea, but unbalanced and buggy as hell. Iron out the kinks, and it'd be AWESOME.
Drop the intro. I don't care you're a global space-harvesting-company, nor does it have any impact on the game whatsoever. The tutorial bugs out at the "press this button now"-stage" if you have done anything at all before that. Zooming out first to see the sun is redundant. (this could be a chance to have a sort-of auto-zoom-out combined with an intro, if you really want to have an intro, that is).
The second buildings "range" stays the same in all zoom-heights. When placed from very high it isn't placed at the drop-point but somewhere around it.
The 2nd building shouldn't even be placeable, seeing as doing so early will dead-end the game.
Nice work! It felt quite polished and complete, although the level-design & checkpoint-placement could use a little work.
Lovely graphics"
But even as "explorative" game this need some balancing. I often couldn't make out the polygons of the terrain, wondering how it actually looked. The majority of angles were un-scaleable, making me use bunny-hopping, which felt like I was exploiting a bug. And the bridge-parts feel strangely out of scale.
Great idea, I really wanted to keep playing :)
Lovely little jump'n'run!
But why (WHY) do you have to begin this otherwise brilliant thing with so many clichés? "Spunky Mechanic Girl"? That has an own (massive) TVtropes-page. It's not even necessary to the "story". Slow and boring wall-o-text-intro? I skipped over it without a second glance. Jumpin on the Z-key? We've been over this, german keyboards place this one differently, -> warped and painful hands.
Love the destroy-features, it's fun!
It could use some easing in though, right now it's not really clear what you can/should do, or even that the mouse-button does things. The skill differ too, while the meteorites are click-targeted, the vaporize is automatically global.
Wonderful minimalistic controls.
Lovely idea! although it does take some time to figure out what to do.
Interesting idea! I'm not sure it makes for good puzzles though, as it basically boils down to "shoot obstacle"
Oops, that comment was for another game. Sorry :)
This is a solid idea of a one-button-game, but could use a some work.
Interesting take on RTS- and city-builder-games! Too bad I couldn't figure out how to build stuff.
Lovely character-work! The cube is great.
Lovely idea! THis could be wonderfully extended.
Interesting idea! The color-scheme is quite nice aswell.
Alas, I'm afraid everything has to be made by you, even classical music isn't allowed.
Nice take on tower-defense! It'll take some time to figure out the best way to stay alive as long as possible, although I didn't really understood what the buildings did.
Ha, great puzzle.
Ha, awesome idea.
Ha, nice game!
Lovely work!
I love the character, it's quite cute. Sound and the rest work quite well together. This has a lot of potential, and could be great with
Stealth-mechanics work quite well!
Love the light-mechanics. Gameplay is solid, but the movement feels a bit lightweight.
Lovely idea! I like hte zero-sum-terrain-deformation.
Nice platformer!
Lovely gameplay! This has a lot of potential, but also needs a lot of polish and balancing. Keep up the good work!
This is great! Building a dungeon and watching your "hero" go through is really satisfying. Nice work!
You do get stuck quite often, though.
Nice work!
Love the idea of typing "slightly wrong" words. The Bach-remix works quite nice aswell.
Nice work on the planet!
The random texts make this awesome.
Most impressive. Love the artstyle and audio.
The buttons are horrible, though. I didn't see them for 1 min, while I hammered the keyboard trying to get my chracter to move.
Nice low-fi work!
Lovelely! the music fits quite well.
Nice work! The comments make this awesome :)
Lovely idea! ...although it is ridiculously difficult and essentially trial+error. Never got very far, always failed at the same spot.
Zooming around is fun, and the music is quite fitting.
That being said, I had no idea what actually happened. Feedback was somewhat difficult to understand.
Lovely shooter!
Lovely idea!
I feel like there's a disconnect between what is happening, what is fun, and what you're supposed to do.
Caring about the humans, who build stuff, is AWESOME. I wnat to continue playing that game.
Seeing how your humans are slaughtered by unexplicable monsters that cannot be stopped while you just try to create more land, effectively abusing the humans, is NOT FUN, though.
Great idea! Could use a bit more balancing and clarification, though.
Lovely aesthetic! Goes great with the story.
Nice idea! Too bad it requires pre-existing knowledge to be fully enjoyed.
Nice little adventure! Gamelay feels quite good.
As far as I know WolframTunes are usable, but I don't use them as they all sound kinda same-y.
The ball-mechanics are fun. More of it! Jumping and evading isn't as good compared.
The web-button links to a screenshot.
Otherwise, it's an interesting surreal exploration-piece :)
This is great! Jumping around is quite fun, graphics are lovely, and the music-thing is brilliant.
Movement does feel a little wobbly, though.
Ha, lovely gag!
Lovely little bullet-hell! The bilingual faux-doubel-translated signs are great.
Didn'tlike it using the Z-key. Many international keyboard-layouts place this one differently, thus causing painful hand-distortions.
There are enemies that shoot a continuous stream of projectiles. When first introduced, they are flying away from you at an angle, so I thought they were "crashing" and was thus irritated when I died by the smoke 3 times after that.
This is beautiful. Seriously. Trying to figure out what to do and cultivating a a habitable planet is fun. Nice work!
Atmosphere is great, and I like the wario-ware-shuffle between places. I did have some trouble seeing my character though.
Ha, lovely. Love the graphics.
OH GOD THE FACE
Lovely platformer! Has a lot of potential. Respawning was kinda weird, as you destroyed the projectiles, and could just attrition your way through.
Great health-mechanic. Lovely rain-sounds.
Ha, cool idea. The forced multiplayer/registration does make this harder to enjoy, though.
I like the minimalistic health-interface.
Did you just make... Chess? Interesting move. (Ha! That was a chess-metaphor)
Nice graphics, especially the texture-work. Having both tile-sets be chese doesn't work though, and having them both be symbols-only doesn't either. (Cheese-wedge! Cheese-roll! Cheese-slice! Cheese-with-grape-thing!)
AHAHAHAHA oh god the embarassment.
Nice work! Love the characters.
This is a great puzzle-idea. Also, using hexes makes it a lot more interesting :)
Nice work on the level-design. The concepts are well-explained, an the levels ramp up (mostly) nicely in complexity. Level 3 is a jump in difficulty, though.
Sadly, the soundtrack, though technically alright, does not fit AT ALL.
Still, nice work!
Well, I surely didn't expect this :)
Well, that was stupid. And fun!
Lovely shooter! Does get a bit grindy really fast, though.
Aww, this is lovely! Gameplay feels punchy, and the music fits beautifully. Droping down is a bit trial+error though, I plummeted down 6 times before hitting it again.
I have no idea what happened, but it was /awesome/.
Fun shooter! But something about "Dr." Nano feels off.... DOES HE EVEN HAVE A MEDICAL LICENSE HUH
Oh, this is awesome. I only ever heard fragments of the actualy lyrics, which somehow always were non-sequiturs :D
Most positively dyson-ish! ..or was that Euphloric?
Neat little plastformer! This has potential, but is in need of some balancing.
Lovely presentation! Music and graphics are beautiful.
Gameplay lacks a bit punch and could use some tweaking, though. Also, you can't tell in the menu which button is actually selected. They both always are a different color.
Well, this is quite hard :)
Love the desk-visual/gag. Music is quite eerie, underlining the fact I have no idea what I'm doing.
Lovely atmosphere and puzzles.
This. Was. AWSOME
The entire aethetic is brilliant. Gameplay feels punchy, and I like the sorta-non-linearity of the levels.
Checkpointing was a bit harsh, though.
It would've been even more brilliant if the tutorial-screen would rhyme :P
I tunneled through the planet. Nice basis!
Ha, this is great. Love the atmossphere and the music, gameplay feels good to.
Let's see... it has an intro I did not understand at all, featuring science-cows. It has a bovine protagonist. A harmonica-soundtrack. And most importantly, an announcer who yells every single banal action.
That, good Sir, is brilliant. Nice work.
Ha, this is great. It's a great sandbox, and I love the blood-effects :). It would be even more awesome if it had a few levels already prepared, so you could jump right in.
Nice work on the tree-gorowing and the boxy terrain!
So how did you build the planet? Is it multiple random overlapping cubes, as is there a deeper system behind it?
Thanks for the nice feedback so far!
I made this using Unity and 3dsMax. I've thought long about the rotation-feature, and in the end decided to go for screen-border-scrolling instead of "hold button to rotate". I've seen a lot of people become instantly disoriented that way.
...should've put in both...
I now do wish that I extended the mouse-range without causing the screen-rotation. Then again, I never would've reacognized it myself (as I didn't). THis is a testing-thing, which b< necessity means it was tragic and unavoidable.
The atmospshere is beautiful. The monochrome-silhouette-graphics and the piano fit wonderfully together.
Nice work!
Lovely work!
Nice use of few assets!
This is absolutely lovely. Nice work!
Ha, great idea!
The game is fun - Nice work!
The ads are some of the most horrible and obnoxious I've ever encountered - What the hell were you thinking?!
The boss-introduction was great :)
Aww, this is cute!
This is great! The destructible terrain makes it quite interesting.
Love the artstyle, it works quite well :). and of course there's nothing better that monocled robots with tophats.
The overworld felt great. The forced wall-jumping and the small-corrdiors made advancing completely arbitrary, though.
Great idea!
Jumping from planet to planet is fun, and the music fits beautifully. It's a bit hard, though.
This is INSANE. NICE WORK
Well, that was creepy. nice idea!
(btw, compo-games need their source uploaded)
Love the intro. "You Are God", enough said :)
An actualy complex card-game. Impressive :)
Fun little puzzler!
Nice gravity-switching-mechanic! The puzzles were a bit trial+error though.
This is awesome!. Gameplay is fun, characters are beautiful and cute, and the music fits /perfectly/. It also really does feel "complete", which is hard to achieve. in LD
that being said, there a lot of shades of Zelde on display :P
Nice work!
That was supposed to spell *Zelda
Could you add yor websites and/or twitter-accounts to the description? I want to see if there's more awesome stuff :)
-Matthew of https://twitter.com/#!/IcarusTyler
I keep coming back to this, it's just too lovely.
I'm also hung up on the soundtrack. What tools did you use? Was it a "classical" composition?
I NEED TO KNOW :P
Thanks! Now to learn Fl Studio. ...does anyone have some good tutorials lying around? :P
Solid work! With a bit more polish this could be quite interesting.
Unfortunately in the compo you have to make everything yourself, using music by Kevin MacLeod isn't allowed (perfectly reasonable in the Jam, though)
impressive. Love the mechanic, and definitely want to keep playing it. Nice work!
Nice basis for a platformer! Sadly, it's a wee bit short.
Oh my god this is amazing. The entire idea, executing and asthetics are brilliant. It also feels much more complete than Your Last game Starring Roberto TnT (forgot the name)
It's a RPG extrrrrravaganza!
Nice work. It's fun and moody, and could be xtended beautifully.
Love the idea of the group-mechanic.
The idea of planting stuff is lovely. Space-mechanics gel nicely with that.
Nice platformer! (...apart from the massive copyright-stuff and borderline rule-skirting.. :P)
This is great! Love the graphics, and the mood is nive too. It's quite complex, it might take some time to figure it all out. and is in need of some balancing though.
Also, I think the premises of both our games are quite similar :P, Go check it out.
*LOL*. Gameplay is really tight and fun. Nice work!
Lovely litte platformer!
Ha! Lovely.
Well, it has a magical disco-ball. No other game can claim that.
Really like the style of the planetoid, espcially the water (although it probably is quite simple.
A small Plentoid, eh? As if I have seem something like this before... *cough*my game*cough :P
Nice idea and execution!
Love the level-progression-gag, makes player-death more meaningful.
Nice little puzzler, although it's not immediately clear what you're supposed to do.
Nice idea! Optics are pretty impressive too. Could use a bit tweaking in the gameplay-department.
Great idea!
This idea is awesome.
Fun idea!
Ahahaha this idea is brilliant.
That was fun! Music was cool too, although on paper it doesn't fit at all.
Nice idea! But in need of some polish.
Love the rotating-gag :)
Ha, I loved it.
This has so many shades of South Park. Not only the dialogue, but also the two-frame speak-animation, which feels like the canadian characters.
Props on the dialogue, music and mood. This also had the first intro I didn't want to skip immediately.
Neat idea.
Nice take on the avoider-genre! Didn't like the music re-starting, it was a nice track I wanted to hear all the way through.
Nice work! The premise is quite deep, and will take some time to explore. The sound-visualizing is a nice gag.
Oh, this is a great idea!
This is lovely! A bit hard to understand though, what with no in-game instructions. It was mostly trial+error.
Interesting work! The gravity-feedback is kinda minimal though. You barely notice it.
This has some great potential for procedural gameplay. Nice work!
The naming-of-things gets quickly repetitive, though. I'd suggest having a name already in place, which would reduce friction dramatically.
Lovely little adventure! I love the music. quite adventure-y (apart from the vut-off at the end)
The arc-firing is fun.
Oh, this is great. One-button-controls work quite well and funnily. I kinda went off in the wrong direction for some time.
Nice idea! I like how the game scales up and gets prgoressively more complex.
Fun litttle Cthulu-simulator!
This is lovely! I much prefer the menu-music over the ingame-music, so I kinda hung out there :)
Nice work on the level and music! Gameplay feels quite punchy aswell.
Nice take on tower defense! Also, I'm a bit motion-sick now.
Lovely idea! the environment is quite beautiful, and this could be greatly imporved by some sort of music-system.
Great idea! Love the presentation too :)
I think the characters and instructions are a bit small though, you have to squit to make them out well. And using the Z-button (different spot in int. keyboard-layouts) makes conrolling it a bit painful.
I was alone in the world. Discontent with my predicament, I went off in search of a partner, an equal, to share my company, and finally end my solitude.
After some time in the woods I indeed saw another! Oh blessed be the spirits, my loneliness was finally at an end. Eager, euphorically I approached my new friend-to-be, and
SO I MURDERED HIM AND ATE HIS HEART
Seriously. This is how the "story" of the game reads.
Enough about that, though: Graphics are beautiful, gameplay is punchy, and the evolution-aspect is well done. Also nice work on the crontrols, they work so flawlessly I wasn't inconvenienced at any point.
But still. Your enemies are "your kind"? Make them another color, it would be a first step towards defusing this
Lovely artstyle!
Minor thing that bugged me: The narrator saying "You shall play..."(then I skipped the intro). It sounded like ye medi-eval old-person-narrator knew he was in a game and was beaking the 4th wall.
Animation is pretty solid. and I kinda like the polygon-terrain, although I'm not sure whether that's on purpose :)
Solid twin-stick shooter! I like the bullet-speed, it's fast enough to feel badass, but slow enough for enemies to slip through.
Music works surprisingly well. It's catchy.
The game did tend to choke a bit, and I feel the evoltuion-aspect of the enemies is too... "mild". You don't really notice unless you look for it (at least in the first handful of rounds)
Reminds me a bit of "You Probably Won't make it" :)
Love that you've done a game primarily for linux, but sadly a lot of people can't play it then :(
Love the jumping-code.
Nice story! The dialogue is tigh, I didn't want to skip it that much :).
Love the bit in the level-design where you see the time-machine, but then it turns out it's far more distant than first anticipated
Awesome level-design!
Ha, this is great! Gameplay is punchy, and exploring the body is kinda fun.
Love the Deus-Ex-y-ness of it all. Not just the menu-screen, the music fits that quite well too :)
What kind of shader is that on the bacteria? It looks cool, but I couldn't figure it out yet.
-Matthew
Cool, thanks for the link!
Love the gag with the minions flying over the camera :)
Dammit Bentosmile, the link is still busted :(
OMG this is amazing. The graphics are stupidly impressive, and the thing is quite well done. Love the day/night-cycle and the cat.
That being said, it does feel a bit buggy and unpolished. You do tend to get at a lot of things, objects clip through the character, lines that are supposed to be unique are repeated, and it's often not really clear what's supposed to be happening.
Still, it's great! :)
We can't play this without linking, sorry :(
Slick game! Jumping is fun, and the level & character-aesthetics work.
The procedural levels could be a bit more ... "stronger". You don't really notice how they are spliced together. Still, nice work!
What a wonderful and approriate use of the numpad. Nice work!
Love the music-lick. Why does it have to be so short :(
Great idea for a puzzle! Graphics are nice too, on a good fidelity-level. It'll take me some time to figure the perfect system out :)
Nice work! Although it wasn't really "Fun" per se. It was more of a OH JESUS CHRIST FUCKSHIT WHAT'S GOING ON THE WALLS ARE MOVING OH GOD
Love the subtle audio and the screen-filter, which you don't really notice getting stronger at first.
The rooms changing layout was a bit ... too random. It felt like it was happening "arbitrarily", and there wasn't really a larger plan to the level-design. I once spotted 6-7 rooms in a row, but when I turned the corrdior has turned into a wall. It felt like "proof that it's random" instead of "corridor sth is supposed to happen".
Another important thing is the lack of information. I did not ready your description "something else is here". I'm glad I did not, this little piece of information completely changes how you approach the game.
In that vein "Where am I" on the title is detracting from the atmosphere too. It is, after all, an elements "outside" the game. Is it even necessary? it is the first thing the "player" thinks/says. There is no need for the "character" to voice it too.
Better solution: Have it written on wall in the first room. Just one extra would do SO MUCH. Imagine seeing it there: This place is hidden/weird/etc. Somebody else like me was here before.
Impressive work. I give this 5 stars in mood without hesitation.
Also: Why is everyone comparing this to "Slender"? You do know there are dozens of other horror-titles, many more approriate for a comparison.
Like the excellent (and truly pants-shitting) SCP-087, which has a similar premise. Or similar SCP-games, which often deal with non-euclidian geometry. Or Amnesia.
Asteroids! My only weakness!
Good god why are there 4 download-buttons, 3 of which get download-tools
Nice work on the animations and music! Also like the minimalistic, glowy, approach.
Controls are horrible though. Why are W,S, I and K on the screen, if they don't do anything? Having left+right on the wsad-"arrows", and jump+attack on the IKJL-"arrows" barely works. You constantly mix up keys, which is somewhat irritating.
@BrothersT Thanks for your critique too!
I think keyboard-layout-wise Revolution is ok. Main problems with that usually are Y+Z (german keyboards) and Q+Y (french keyboards).
What I believe would work better: Having "jump" on the "up"-key (i.e. "W") feels intuitive, many people naturally do that. Having fire on a single key away from the movement-keys is alright, but culstered around L, in this case, is a bit unintuitive too. Space would work, maybe Mouse-clicking could too.
Also useful: Adding the arrow-keys as usable alternatives, you'd just have to bind them aswell. No explaining necessary :)
Artsy indeed! That being said, I have no idea what's going on :)
Ha! Great approach :)
Lovely!
Brilliant idea! Love the little backstory-blips :)
Good god how do you start this thing. All I see is this massive wall-of-text, which is what people mean when they "Stop with the god-damn instructions and let me play the game."
...oh there it is. Hidden off to the side.
WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT
Anyway, the game. Solid Twin-stick-shooter! Love the bouncing bullets, I think I saw some enemies kill each other. Weapons are also fun.
It could go with a bigger playing-field (especially at the beginning), and the wall-segments make it even smaller. A different color for you and the enemies would also improve this greatly.
Lovely!
Great gag with the growing screen-size. Prompts are simple and efficient. nice work!
Also, it's "Fish eat plankton", plankton doesn't have a plural. You can make the 3d-text "sharp" by increasing its size, but decreasing the font-size in the inspector.
Pretty solid shooter. Nice work!
Nice idea!
But in dire need of polishing. Framerate is horrible, it's basically a slideshow. After 3 plays I still didn't figure out the rules. Sometimes I absorb cells, sometimes I pass trhough them. And then sometimes I die. But why? :P
Still, nice work!
This is am azaming take on evolution. So far the one that integrates itsself best with gameplay, this gets 5 stars in theme and innovation without hesitation.
Nice work!
Lovely puzzler! Idea is good, the execution too. Gameplay feels solid and punchy.
The best thing though is the sound-slider in the menu. It's just /so useful/. No irritations about volume. No reaching to the speakers. Nicely done!
Ha, great idea! It's really fun grabbing all the junk and seeing your stats rise.
I fell through the floor :(
Love the story! And the underlying foundation of "I don't give a crap about conventions" :P
It seems somewhat big, I guess it'll take some time to fully explore everything.
Fun idea!
Solid shooter! Like the atmosphere and sound, quite eerie.
Live take! Really like the menu-titles, and the shattering is interestingly done.
This is lovely! Although I couldn't quite figure out what was going on
Solid idea! Could use a bit of polishing though.
The player doesn't rotate around itself, but rather around a pivot-point somewhere behind it. This is horrible, as is causing both disorientation and motion sickness.
The music seems "warped". This can be either a)on purpose, in which case just ignore this, or b) because it is set to "3d-sound". A 2d-sound doesn't warp, it's more useful for music.
Sadly, you cannot use external music for the compo. EVERYTHING has to be made by you
Interesting idea! I like the going-up-walls gag, it gives this another dimension :)
(remember to upload your source, otherwise we can't score this)
Lovely presentation!
There are some irritating bugs though:
-The webbuild is way too large. The browser locks up on loading, and it crashed the first two times.
- When the camera clips through a mountain and you click, you end up going backwards
And it is kinda difficult figuring out what to do.
Still, love the optics!
This is great!
Seriously, awesome work. The characters are great, animations work, sounds fit, and the work with the textures on the unity-terrain makes me want to experiment with the style.
..which is why the little snags are so infuriating. The 2-3 seonds at the beginning are irritiating. Controls only being explained in a side-menu as wall-o-text works horribly. Having attack on mouse1 is also useless, as the mouse doesn't do anything else. The enemies ganging up on you and glitching out once there are more than 3. The bad level-design just letting 12 monsters gang up on you. The camera-placement beinng weird, as in "static, locked very close to the character, clipping through rocks"
Still, it is good. With a little polish it could be INCREDIBLE. Remove the stupid 3-sec-lock. Put attack on the keyboard. Use the standard Unity-3rd-person-camera, it does wonders :)
Impressive twin-stick-shooter! Love the presentation, from the graphics to the sound.
One minor quibble is the pick-ups looking very similar to the enemies. You aren't naturally inclined to pick them up. I also believe enemy-ai could've gotten more self-growing itself, that would be a lot of fun :)
Good god the intro takes way too long. On the plus side, the music is awesome :)
Solid and punchy gameplay!
Nice work!
Gameplay is solid and fun, and seeing how the ship changes is cool.
What doesn't quite work is having click to shoot. My hand hurts, and you get an advantage if you can click faster. A fixed fire-rate would take care of this.
Also, this is perfect for endless play + highscores.
Wow. Impressive Intro. Also well edited, I didn't want to skip it at all (although the bit with the characters entering the thing was not completely understandable.
The level-design could also use a bit of tighening. Right now you are thrown into between some enemies without knowing what to do. Let the player figure out controls first.
Lovely mood! Gameplay could use some tightening, other lifeforms quickly out-grew me. Also starting in the upper left under text does not work at all.
Love the artstyle!
Well, this is a unique combination!
Love the faux-pixel-movement. Music and graphics work well together.
I wonder who recognizes the game-of-life-shapes. This might be one of the nerdiest references I've ever witnessed :)
Nice complex take on the avoider-genre!
Love the gag with the rotating world :)
Nice solid exploration-thingie!
Like the graphics and the music. The camera-into was a bit irritating, though.
Awwwwwww this is great. Lovely music.
Lovely idea! Also good use of pixel-graphics in Unity.
There are some minor graphical glitches on the shrubs. You can turn them off by setting the texture from "repeat" to "clamp", that way the first pixel-line won't get repeated
Nice jumble of ideas! Also, sweet music. The background-lightup-thingie is cool.
One problem I fear is the player not noticing it is actually multiple rooms. For some time I though I was looping inside a single room, and not moving through a maze.
Is this based on and an elaborate in-joke on the ChevyRay-keynote from LD23? Nice take :)
Impressive! Love the graphics, sound and pseudo-japanese vibe :) Nice work on the interface aswell :)
The level-design is a bit confusing, though. The rooms are hard to pick apart, and the close cam-height means we can never see past the current room, so it becomes running around at random.
Oh, and it's possible to get behind the walls into the void when reaching the lower level-border
Still, good work!
Nice idea! Love the visuals and music.
Gameplay could use some tweaking, especially since I had no idea what was going on.
This. Is. Great.
Seriously. I love how contained the idea is, simplke and efficient. The club-weapon kinda fits evolution-connotations.
Is that Motörhead? I only noticed in the end the song featured "evolution", until then it just fit and had this wonderful "fuck it"-vibe :)
Also, beautiful work on the quibs. They are funny, do not repeat, and, most importantly, have character.
Uhh, artsy-fartsy :)
Love the presentation. Nice mood, and it's fun playing around. Too bad there isn't really that much happening afterwards.
Interesting idea. Like the music-game-aspect of it, where you're basically creating a soundtrack as you go along.
"Cause epilepsy" is not a feature. It bloody kills people.
Well, that is quite impressive. Nice work!
Also: Too. Much. Bloody. Text. This is not how you convey a story while I want to jump around and do shit.
You scoundrels!
This games isn't 400mb. It's 1.14 GIGA-FRAKKING-BYTE.
Ahem. Whatever. The game!
Impressive work. How many pics are in there? I wonder. Sadly the nature of it precludes too much interactivity. Still cool though!
Love presentation! I like the movement and the soudn, but sadly this thing runs quite slow.
Good god my spelling is horrid in my last post. Must've been after I game-devved non-stop for 36-hours :P
Anyway, to re-iterate: Lovely presentation, especially with the parchment-style, music and the nav-points.
Nice Diablo-alike! The day/night-cycle is sweet, and the resource-system is quite impressive.
It could use a bit of guidance though, as I have no idea what's going on.
Also, the 45°-movement doesn't work. I used it before too, people generally have problems adapting to it.
Nice work!
Love the blue/yellow color-scheme of the first level. Gameplay is quite punchy and fun.
(I think it's possible to get stuck by shoving a plant in fron of the door. I wiggled myself through though)
Hey, it's a boxcat! I have one of those too :)
Lovely idea. It's fun trying to find a partner for the next generation, and then playing as that one. Love the run-animation, simple and efficient.
Movement can be abit clunky sometimes. I often got stuck on slopes (sometimes on slopes between the level-wall and spikes), which was kinda frustrating.
Love the presentation! Graphics and the slimes are quite cute. Too bad the gameplay is a bit hard to figure out
Yay! I broke it!
All I see is the upper left quadrant of the sphere, with the title cut off at the lower screen-border. Nothing is happening :(
Works on Kongregate, apparently.
Love the idea of collecting genes, nice work! Shooting is punch enough, but the view is a bit too close to the battlefield to my taste. Great piano-intro :)
Need to save all the kittehs!
Great idea! Could use a bit of balancing though, it's quite hard right now.
Fun game! Music is cool and graphics too. The camera is horrible. Love the sound-effects :)
Well, this is insane. Nice work getting a fighting-game done!
It's a strategy-game! ...didn't see that one coming :)
Love the level-design. I wonder if it's procedural or chosen from a few pre-made ones. Also, nice choice of music!
The text at the top of the screen doesn't work though, it registers as "noise". You are focused on the middle of the screen, in all its graphical and animated glory.
Also: "Come to the devmania"? An 4th-wall-breaking ad, which 99% of players can't make use of since they aren't near it? C'mon!
Then I remembered I forgot to wire the entry-fee for the Devmania as I was horribly broke the last months and wanted to wait for as long as possible and was then swept away in Ludum Dare. Oh well
@Crowbeak That is amazing! Thanks :)
Sounds useful, thanks!
Have you used ice/snow-tiles before? If not: Woo! Progress! :P
Nice work pn graphics and gameplay. It suffers a bit from a lack on in-game-instructions(which I would've preferred, though it is right below the game), and the fact I have to bend my hand to reach the Z-key in the middle of the keyboard (european layout)
Stunning presentation! Graphics, audio and the double-world-gag are great. Nice work! (I guess it could use a bit more on the gameplay-side though)
Also nice how you integrated the website.
Nice solid work! Love the slimes and the later enemies, they are simple and efficient. It's also nice how you can see the progression to the more difficult enemies.
Pacing could use a little work. For the first 30seconds nothing happens, and you are trained to go out into the world, which will bite you in the ass later when i gets more difficult.
Nice idea! The auto-bullets are interesting, as they force you to behave tactically. But they wild movement negates that as you can only fire effciently when perfectly horizontally or vertically
Kudos for chosing Lamarckian Evolution as theme, you're the only one so far I can tell :)
Also: Why does it have to be XCZ? You do realize that the Z-key is half across the layout in international keyboards. It is /physically painful/ to play this.
Love it!
The music fits great, and the gameplay is simple, elegant, addictive AND IT NEVER GETS EASIER ARGH must get better.
How'd you get "3000" plays? I wonder. Do you count "re-plays" or "loads"? The Kong-ticker shows ~250 "loads"
Also, don't forget to upload the source-material. This looks like one of the better games so far, tht would make it seem more solid :)
Nice work making the voices different. Cutscenes are a tad long, I think. The short dialogue-interludes mid-level feel quite well, in contrast. Maybe concentrating a little bit of story in that could potentially work better (think Portal or Bastion)
..this is actually pretty good. It feels complete. The graphics are aesthetically pleasing, and the glowiness hides the detail quite well. It also gets kinda Spore-ish later on.
LOVE the music. Adventurous :)
And on the second stage I noticed "Oh, it's Evolution" :P
This would make an excellent endless one-button-game.
Rainbow particles!
Ha, funf little twin-stick-shooter! I love the enemy-variety, and you nailed the "empty look" on the Dodo's eyes :)
Lovely presentation!
Not sure climbing obstacles works gameplay-wise. The character just stops, so it's not really a choice or any difficult.
Murderous kittens, indeed.
Love the low-fi graphics. Gameplay could use a bit tightening though.
Love the graphics. Simple and efficient :)
And then I fell off the level :(
This is lovely!
Upgrading feels great, and the movement reminds me of Darwinia. I like the tactical twist that you can only move all at once, but unfortunately moving doesn't really do much. Imagine how it would feel if you could split your units and attack from behind for more damage!
Nice work! Love the music, and the graphics are simple + efficient.
Takes a while to figure out what to do, though. Also sad: No evolution :(
Well, the rts-roots are kinda spot-on :)
Nice idea! the setuip alone is impressive, and levelling is fun (although a bit grindy at the beginning)
Love the subtle color-changes. Solid work!
A gripe would be that it takes too long to get to the funky/awesome parts.
The insanely quick cuts make me laugh.
Nice work!
This has a lot of potential, and could be even better if all the kinks are ironed out.
For example, I switched into the 2nd level and still had the momentum from the last one going, so I plummeted to my death. Wall-jumping needs to be introduced in a thought-out-fashion, as well as enemies and how your evolution-bubble behaves. The grass was way too diffcult, as it just kills you outright.
Love the pickup-effect! Music is also quite cool.
Love the open-eye-expression on the dog :).
Also, nice intro. Short, efficient, to the point.
It gets really funny once you manage to make everything go critical :)
Absolutely LOVE the music. It's a wonderful track!
The game-idea is solid too. Graphics are adequate.
Gameplay and level-design could use a bit tweaking, though. It doesn't really become clear what is happening, and the text-explanations is way too fast, cryptic and doesn't help.
Nice work! music is fun, movement is punchy, combat is good game-design (as in a tricky balance-part). Level-ups are in dire-need of balancing though. It takes some time to figure what the meat does, and then you lose it very quickly again.
I approve of the use of Beethoven, although admittedly it doesn't fit that much.
This is great idea. With a bit more polish and balancing it could INCREDITASTIC.
So: How does the "Evolution" of it work? So far I can tell the notes that you can play remain, and those you cannot hit will go away, so after some time "your song" evolves out of it.
Solid idea, but in practical terms it'll results in monotonous, easy-to-play tunes.
Love the momentum-play. Nice work!
Making "X" the primary "do"-button first, and then using space without any notice is bad though.
The story makes it so much better :)
Impressive builder! Love the style and the atmosphere. Takes a while to figure out what to do, though.
Love the stealing-mechanic! It does get my heart punmping
Fun game! The unicorn is great.
Feedback for the deaths would be nice. Right now it feels kind-of arbitrary, and it isn't really clear what happened.
Fun idea!
The timing is beautiful. Awesome work!
Lovely idea for a puzzler! The blocky aesthetic is great, and the game feels quite polished. Nice work!
Remember to upload the source-files so it can actually compete :)
That was brilliant pacing. Nice work!
This is lovely! (once you figure out what to do :P)
Wonderful little game! Didn't liek hte first level insta-kills you several times before your get it.
Good lord his mood is evil.
Nice work!
I feel "Attack of the Plumbers" would've been better :D
Oh. That is EVIL. :P
This is lovely! Love the music and visuals. Gameplay is fun too, but ramps up way to hard in level 2.
awww, this is sad
Nice work! Love the low-fi aesthetic and music.
Respawn-time was sometime irritating. I don't want to wait 1 second. THe longest time I am willing to wait is ZERO seconds.
Also, the intro was horrible. There is no need whatsoever to have a non-game-video at all. The information could'Ve easily been conveyed in the level, without making the player wait.
Still solid!
Wonderful pacing. This is too good. Why am I an evil fox I don't want to be an evil fox ahhhh *SOB*
Nice work!
This is a great idea! Love the story and the concept :), Nice work!
But it could do with a lot of polishing. The Text-intro is way too long. Controls are unintuitive. It isn't really clear what to do. and it takes excrutiangly long until you can make a move again.
Nice work on the atmosphere!
Nice idea, but buggy as hell. The arms don't recede after punching. And what's with the horrible shacks? Do they serve a purpose? Are they there to remind us of the horrible (nonexistant) human settlement the player is destroying? The game could be improved by just leaving them out :P
Nice music!
Best. Idea. Ever.
Ha, this great!. Love the low-fi-tower-defense aesthetic. The names of the heroes are also cool :)
Love the unity-spawn-system :D
Impressive.
This is lovely! nice work on the graphics and sound-background.
Took a bit too much to get off, I think. I also wasn't really clear what you're actually doing.
Still, awesome game!
Impressive character and animations!
The gameplay is fun, but confusing. How do I cut things? WHy is cut and jump the same button? And how do I even make a high cut?
This is great :D
Love the eatehtic, especially in the menu-screen. Too bad the silent-film-black&white doesn't extend into the game.
It was also a bit hard to firue out what actually to do and how to control the mustache.
The ragtime-piano makes it awesome. Which tools did you use to compose it?
This isn't half-bad. Love the low-poly trees!
...then I fell off the level :(
This is lovely! The animations are cool, and I love the music/mood.
The actual "game" is a bit difficult to figure out though. Movement = great. Is that a checkpoint? Did I activate it? What are those orbs under the crustacaen? Can I buy them? Why would a cephalopod have a system of monetary value? THIS IS ALL SO CONFUSING :P
Still, nice work :)
This is beautiful. The graphics, the screams, the fitting music... nice work!
I like the effects on the ground-floor, when the tiles rise. Also laughed when I got hit straight in the fac with a giant bomb from te right.
Right-clicking produces a popup. You can disable that in the player-setting, wo this doesn't happen. Alo, the windows-download links to your file-hosting-service, not the download. You can actually change that, it's within the rules.
Love the low-fi-visuals. reminds me of ShamusYoung's Procedural City. Music is oddly fitting.
Gameplay is a bit confusing though. What is happening? What do I do? Am I making progeress? What's with the mini-map-thing? And why am I moving automatically? Is that a bug?
Impressive! Love the low-fi images. Gameplay looks solid too.
This is great! Love the idea, and it feels positively like those old-timey lcd-games that sell tehmselves on being like game-boys :)
Nice work!
Nice Platformer! Love the sliding and the dust-effects. And entire game just around sliding (a runner, for example) would be awesome :D
A few on the screen-transtitions were a tad difficult (if not outright unfair and punishing) though.
This is a horrible name for a game.
Well, this is insane. Nice work!
Nice littl stealth-game! Music fits weirdly wel.
The bubbles are a great idea :D
The use of twine is wonderful. Love the intro, the text-flashes appear at the /perfect/ speed to create emotional impact.
Best use of cat-petting ever.
This is great! Love the controls, they make the entire game.
Nice work on the graphics!
I'd love to play this, but sadly I get
Unable to load mono library from "C:/Users/XXXXX/Desktop/DAJ_LD25_COMPLETE/BUILDS/DALD25_Data/Mono/mono.dll" (error = 126).
Hang on, I might've mistakten it for something else. Hmmm... SORRY! It totally works!
Nice game! Love the graphics, the bevelled tiles work really well. The speech-bubbles are great :)
Sucking blood? Awesome!
The buildings not being "done" isn't that bad, actually, but it would help a lot if there were the same level of quality. The smoothed, untexture ones are ok, the "blocks" stand out sorely.
Love the agents :)
Like the music!
Love the graphics and icons! The low-fi approach works really well.
On the other hand, it was soemwhat difficult figuring out what was happening.
Wow. Amazing work. Love how it turns around. Music is done beautifully. Props for organizing this :D
This is a great idea :D
Like the idea of the flak-screen :)
Fun control-scheme!
Love the graphics!
The game doesn't respond though. I keep auto-running off the level
Jesus Christ this is depressing. I feel horrible now.
Nice work! :P
Lovely idea! And fun too. I never unlocked the bomb though.
Also, you have to make Everything, including music, yourself, so I can't give any stars in that category :(
Lovely character. Also like the spikes :)
Lovely idea! Also like the shadow-effects :)
Movement is bit wonky, as in "how do I move forwards". I move sideways, but "forward" (away from camera) seems impossible.
(Remember to upload the source, so it actually counts :)
Truly, you are a villain in this game :)
Fun idea! Love the tractoring-mechanics and the music.
Dying and having to wait 5+ secs to respawn is highly irritating though. The highest number of seconds I am willing to wait is ZERO. Also, why do I have to mouse-click to start? nothing else uses the mouse.
Nice deck-visualization :)
A heist and backstabbing-simulator! Love the story-touch :)
Interesting thing!
"Go right" is kind of a useless instruction though, as you probably spun around a lot at that point :P
Seal-clubbing, eh? Now that's evil!
That is a wonderful concept! I like how you have to avoid the barrels and then send them. Unfortunately you can't pay attention to what goes on below.
Lovely idea! Could use some clarification though, I wasn't quite sure what to do.
Fun sneaking-animation! Also nice work with light and the music.
Intesresting idea!
But I don't like it boiling down to "do this now". A simple way to combat this would be the ability to assign targets at will, because when I "re-assign the target" there is no other way than on the ship.
Solid little shooter! Nice work on the music, it felt quite evil. Didn't like that ctrl also shot though.
Nice idea!
Nice little stealth-game! Love the music-switch, and the menu is nice too.
Controls are really fidlly though. The entire game resetting is also infuriating, it punished experimentation.
A drunken stealth game? Brilliant!
Lovely game!
Saw kindalate that this is quite complicated, what with different kinds of bars and pickups. Perhaps that is oversimulating things.
Still, nice work!
Nice one!
You're getting better at effectively conveying story and humor. I especially love the Naked-Gun-Style-gags, that are just there, and nobody notices :D
Nice work on the artstyle - this would be perfect with a ragtime-piano
Aww, this is cute! Took me a while to figure out what to do though. Still fun!
Nice work!
Nice work! love the graphics. Idea is a bit hard to understand without intructions though
Impressive polish. Love the idea!
Too bad it doesn't have anything to do with the theme :(
Nice idea! It'd kind-of a bad idea of being able to destroy the buildings from ground-level, removes incentive to climb them, which is fun :)
Love the character :)
Ooh, edsf-controls. Cool.
Colid basis! Like movement, music and world-setup.
This is TOO ADORABLE. I don't want to hurt the little guy :(
Fun idea! Could use some polishing though, it was often hard to figure out what was actually going on.
This is lovely :)
Nice idea!
not sure I like the controlling-mechanism. I think I would've preferred it if it you click to change direction, and then it would stay that way.
Nice work! Love the graphics and music. Gameplay is brainy too, but takes a while to figure out. Also, the "Kill this one last"-rules are very advanced. This would've been so much better with several levels, which rise in complexity.
This is a great idea! The graphics also fit beautifully.
But in dire need of polish. Why does the intro-screen take so long and is unskippable? The controls are also unintuitive.
Evil Goat-Cannibalism! :D
Evil ghost-goat moves faster when straddling the border of the screen. esoteric bug?
This is lovely! like the intr, but it's way too long. a 3rd would be enough
Fun game! Love the music, and the style is great.
Didn't like so much that I had no idea what's going on, and controls were a lot of trial+error too.
A Card-game! And it looks good. Rules are simple, cards are clean and afficient. Nice work!
Using the term "trump" is useless, though. People who know it can understand the rules without it, people who don't know the term are irritated and confused.
Solid game! I like the light-mechanics, and the line-of-sight of the guard has a lot of potential.
The mini-game is ...interesting. It's a nice idea, but it took me some tries to understand what was actually going to, and it was essentially trial and error. Then I realized I spent more time in the lockpick-screen that in the actual "world" :P
This is weirdly fascinating. Nice work!
Ha, Nice take on point+clicks! Took me a while though figure out how to control it.
Like the intro and the atmosphere. Good work also on the 3d-modelling!
Truly, 'tis the most villainous if all :D
Love the idea. Movement is a bit iffy. Music is weirdly fitting, but gets a bit irritating after the while. The "You ruined the picnic!"-messages are the best part. Nice work! :)
Solid puzzler!
Nice one! I like the different enemy-types, and that they react to you :)
Movement is rahter less useful, the grids make it very constricted. And it's quite easy, especially once you learn that enemies are blind from above and below.
Awesome idea! Love the flood of popups :)
Did you make the driving-engine yourself or is that a plugin? (also remeber to upload the source, so the game counts :)
This is slick! Great work!
Love the movement and the feel. Imploding people is a nice touch, especially since it's difficult. Music fits nice as well.
Didn't like the unskippable intro. After 1-2 min the game got also kinda repetitive after bit, but the basic gameplay remained fun :)
Solid platformer! Jumping feels great :)
The narrative doesn't quite work though, and it doesn't really feel like "villain"
Well, that was... awesome!
Love the minimalistic graphics, and it oozes charm. What gameplay there is works also quite well. (although it probably could've done without the flashing)
Nice work!
This is a nice array of mechanics :). Probably better that nothing is explained. Nice work!
Lovely made!
Yeah, the text sometimes appearing in mountains is irritating. It took a lot of time trying to get it to work.
When I move the text further away the screen became cluttered with fyling texts, which was more irritating :P
Indeed, the models could look a lot better. Should've set more time aside, this is more of a 10min-job.
Yeah, I really miss the missing "Opposition".
First draft had "Agents", which would be dispatched from headquarters against you to stop your progress. Then it turned out that getting the system working as it was was diffiult enough :P
This is a really good basis! The game is alrady fun, avoiding guards feels good, and teh shadow-mechanics are great :)
Nice work!
But why is the mouse inverted ahhhhh
Something mildy different, woo! Love the upgrade-system, as always :)
Lovely title! Like the low-fi graphics, and how the 3d looks 2d :D
Didn't like the unskippable intro though, and the "looping" movement, where you suddenly jump from the rightmost side to the left. Also too bad it isn't really about "villainy" :(
Is saying "It's A typical Zed-Game" good or bad? Because it totally is!
Love the low-fi-approach. Nice work on the minigames, the "Yeah!" is awesome :D
This is lovely :)
Solid title! Love the music and animations.
Level-design could be a bit more tighetened. Guards can shoot you, while you can't shoot back. It would also be useful if health replenished on level-switch.
You made it, woo!
It's somewhat fiddly, but the acceleration is a nice touch. Too bad you didn't have more time.
This is great! Love the gameplay, and the music is well chosen :)
Great idea!
Nice work! Gameplay is fun, music is well chosen, and I love the low-fi colorful graphics. The princess-models is great too :D
Interesting take on implementing 2d- adn 3d-stuff, but I'm not sure it really works.
Are those pick-ups in the ground? Can I even each them? If not, this is unfair and irritating. If those are actually ads, it's even worse.
Nice little RTS! took me a while to figure out how it works, then I relized the potential for tactics.
About the music: Everything has to be created by yourself, so sadly it doesn't count :( (although it fits beautifully :)
Not the kittens! YOU MONSTER :P
A lot of stars for being so villainous!
Nice work on teh Virtual-Boy-Color-scheme :)
Love the atmosphere! The grungy visuals and the music fit well together. Nice touch with the dirty-overlay. I wonder if you could make it scroll with you.
That being said, the intro is HORRIBLE. That was 3 minutes of me hammering the buttons to get to the actual game.
This is great. Love the intro. Great choice of music.
Gameplay and level-design could be tightened a bit though. Most platforms being near the top is bad, as is the player jumping out. THe projectile moving at the same rate as the player is peculiar, at least. I also didn't like the platforms and evemies being build so ou essentially blind-jump into it.
Some diversity in level-design would be fun and easy too. Not every level has to have a "chasm", some could be flat.
Still, awesome work!
(also how did this get 50k plays? Is that normal for a flash-game on newgrounds? :P )
I'd really like to play this, but installing is a puzzle in itself :P
104mb? Installer? + manual file-moving? This is really difficult. Also it says I need some sort of XNA-file, which I don't know would be included in a recent XNA-package or not. A download-link (in the top, right next to the others) would be useful :)
Solid title! Like the music and the upgrades/pickup. Graphics are nice too :)
Love the music! the game is a bit difficult to figure out. What is going on?
Mighty impressive! Loe the idea and the low-fi graphics. The green splash is awesome :)
Scrolling is a bit fiddly though. On startup I auto-scrolled to the top of the level, wondering what was going on.
Love the idea! Surprised it hasn't been done sooner. Also like the blueprint-aesthetic :)
Nice idea! Like the unique color.
Controls were a bit iffy, it took some time to realize that movement changes depending on where you click. It also wasn't really clear wehre the guys have to be dropped.
Music is weirdly fitting. What tools did you use?
Lovely! Like the destruction and the low-fi city. Could do with some kickass music :D
This is an incredible idea :D
Love the music!
Nice TD, but waaaaay too slow.
Oh noes now they are shooting each other :(
Awesome work!
This is great! Love the little physics-touches, it feels solid and hefty. Blasting Zombies is great!
Movement on Z+X is horrible, however. I kept reaching for the arrows. Still awesome!
Great idea! Love the tophat :D
I feel it could've been better if the ovjective swaped tim-based, not progress-based. It was really hard finding enough flowers
This makes my browser puke and die :(
Fun idea! Smashing things is quite satisfying. Love the jumpinh-animation.
The slanted movement does not work however, and is highly confusing. The connection of the mouse to the bat-position is erratic as well.
Yeah, placeholders don't work. Although it kind-of is useful to know, since we never quite know how many games were attempted but not submitted.
Ahh, the rare Linux-Only game.
Got to respect that, but alas, few people will be able to play.
Cool idea! Really conveys the feeling of "obnoxiousness"
Solid idea! Could use a lot of polishing though :P
Solid puzzler!
Lovely mechanic!
This is super adords
Nice shooter! Gameplay is fun, and music fits.
It feels a bit "overcrowded" though, there is way too much stuff on the screen to easily read it.
The viewpoint makes this quite interesting :)
Fun idea!
Ohh, this is lovely.
Nice little puzzler!
The mechanics are quite solid, and should provide for a ton of possible constellations. Also like the music :)
The death-light could be a bit stronger, right now it's very hard to make out.
It is mesmerizing. Extra Points for Minimalism.
..move with arrow-keys and use space to jump? That is insane.
Like the sound and graphics, but the actual game seems ..difficult. I keep automatically falling through the floor and dying.
It's a spacehip! With a bridge and aliens and everything!
Android-Only? Ballsy choice!
Lovely idea!
..and exceptionally difficult.
This is fun! Narration adds a lot to this.
Pressed D and switched to a collider/view, which was somehow much more interesting :P
Then I kept spacebar pressed, and the tank spawned infinite projectiles and the game puked and died.
Ha, this has the best name yet. The intro is also great, I luaghed when they hung up the painting :D
Solide shooter!
Works surprisingly well. The gun is powerful, and the effects are nice.
I think at one or two points enemies spawned behind me, that was a bit irritating.
Well, that is amazing.
Love the heaygonal art-style. Colors are great too. Music fits nicely, and the boffin adivsing you is great :D
It's very hard to figure out what to do, though. The systems are somewhat complex, adn not everything gives direct feedback.
Still, awesome work!
Ha, this is a great idea. There is a lot of fun in going through all the different variations.
Oh, this is great. The music makes it :D
Lovely idea! and quite addicting. This could be easily extended
Interesting shooter! Haven't seen that kind of control-scheme before.
Nice work with the level-design! I like how the levels keep getting more complex.
Nice idea to simulate!
Feels pac-man-y :)
Nice work!
Lovely idea! Like the minimalist artstyle :D
It does tend to get a bit trial-and-error-y though
Solid title! Gameplay is quite punchy, I like that. The increasingly difficult puzzles are also quite cool.
This is great! Love the simplicity of the concept (reminds me a bit of my own game), and the way the elements are combined. Bouncing is really fun :)
So many cubes!
This quite lovely. Nice work!
Ha, this is great! Love the voice-over
Linux and Mac Only? Ballsy Choice :P
Lovely game! nice music and graphics. Too much talking, detracts from "game"-part
This is a great idea! Just walking around the level is fun :)
Interesting concept! Quite difficult to figure out what to do thought, especially with the lengthy text-flow
Ha, creating stuff randomly/haphazardly is fun :) . Although I have no idea what's going on in the grand scheme of things.
That's fun. Would be awesome if there would be more of it :)
what is going...
Lovely gag! I thought it would be kept to the "title-screen", but then it wouldn't stop and it got a bit unsettling. So bonus-points for mood I guess :P
Nice game!
The dialogue at the beginning intrigued me. The jump to another level was totally surprising, I did not expect that.
Too bad it doesn't have an ending :(
Great work! Love the graphics and the sword-fighting.
The speech-bubble has a lot of potential, and could be extended greatly.
This is kind-of hard to figure out, especially with the 30sec "intro".
Still, rotating around that thing is fun!
Nice work on the story!
Level 3 got me stuck, I fell into nothing
Well, this feels "heavy". Nice work! Music is a good touch.
Ha, that's a fun idea.
Fascinating idea.
Nice idea!
But saying "Play this note!" is horrible. So unless you already have extensive knowledge of how to translate a letter into music using an unknown interface you have never heard of, this can be very frustrating.
Nice work with the bloom-effects!
This is a great combination! I love the fact athy ou can run around the "overworld", and then it turns into low-fi Pac-Man.
Nice work!
The music makes this strangely appealing :)
Go show this to Oujevipo, he takes and interest in anti-games and might perhaps give a shout-out to this.
Who is the artist, btw? I'd like to see if there is more
This is great! But the first puzzle is quite hard :(
Fun little puzzler-thing! Love the scenario.
Lovely platformer! The "trail" is a neat feature, and the music is well chosen.
It's a bit slow though, and difficult.
Interesting work with the light!
Nice ammo-mechanic! Making the enemies drop it periodically is a great move.
Ohh, artsy-fartsy. Nice work on the "physics" and color.
Rolling around is fun! ...although I couldn't quite figure out what was supposed to happen
This is a great combination! Making the created thing go through a mini-roduelike makes it much more interesting
Lovely idea! like the musiv and level-progression :)
Lovely idea! A bit hard to figure out, though. Also doesn't help that the first move you makes catapults you out of the gameworld
Ha, I love this! It's fun walking around and discovering sutff (Potato!). The interaction-button is great too.
But the themse is Minimalism, not Surrealism! :P
Who cares, it's fun. THe Dinosaur rocks :D
Holy crap this just got covered by Rock Paper Shotgun :D http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2013/05/07/dream-island-probably-isnt-about-anything/
Android-only? interesting set-up. Too bad not many peiople will be able to play it :(
Robotater is a great name. Solid game! Love the music
Nice infinite runner!
I like the contrast with the white world, adn teh fish-eye is interesting, although it gave me a headache on my second run.
I think the speed could use some tweaking, it starts you off incredibly quickly. Also when you switch to the right side I think the camera does a 270°-turn to the left.
Ahh, the rare Mac-only-game. It's sad not many people will be able to play it :(
Ha, this is a fun idea! Especially when all the bodies are radially arragned and move in an iris-shape :P
Ha, this is fun.
Great infinite "runner", quite fun.
Would love an option to reverse up/down controls.
Solid Shooter!
Nice idea!
Ha, fun idea!
"Nice Font!" was my first thought.
Game is interesting too :P
This is quite lovely, I love teh aesthetic.
Solid title!
Love the graphics and the general idea, which I haven't seen before.
It doesn't get quite clear that some of the points can be moved, while others are decorative, though.
Ha, this is a great idea! Nice work :D
Remember to upload the source, so this counts in the compo :P
Nice little adventure!
The mana-reloading-machanism is quite nice, it the idea of magic in that world scope.
Aiming is a bit difficult, as the fireballs appear on top of the character.
Oooh, Spooky. Nice work with the lighting. I also like the windows, and how they show nothing but blackness beyond. What demonic world lies beyond them?
Solid title!
Interesting shooter! Nice work on the asteroids, it feels a lot like the engine in worms.
You actually made a card-game.
Impressive! And it comes on a print-sheet. Looks solid.
This ia a great idea! And fun :D
Solid game so far!
I like the contrast between the first room and the white rooms afterwards. Music fits nicely as well.
Level-Design could use a bit of work though, the player-speed is motion-sickness-high, and the jumps very difficult.
Solid shooter! Love the re-growing grid.
Nice Shooter! I love the cubistic style.
Ha, this is great. Riding momentum is fun, and quite well implemented.
The 3-2-1 could be bigger, my first two tries were confusing because the plane didn't want to move for 3 secs.
Neat idea! Ridiculously hard, though
Fun little game!
Ha, this idea is great! I haven't seen a ball-game with this control-scheme before.
Artstyle works quite well. I think the start black background might even work in its favour, contrasting with the high-detail objects.
Also nice work on the "story"-integration, to increase the artsy-fartsy-factor
this is like a reverse-russian-roulette that gets worse every round :P
...wait does that even make sense?
Nice idea of making a lawyering-game!
The intro is painfully long though
Fun idea! The period where you see it going to the wrong color and want to switch is agonizing :P
Solid idea!
Took me some time too figure out what to do though. Also the phasing blocks are decidedly un-fun, and at some points it is impossible to get on top of one.
Nice idea! The perspektive makes aiming impossible, though. This is like an MC-Esher-Painting
This fells like a fun reverse version of breakout. Nice work!
Nice work on the orbital physics!
Ha, fun idea. Turns out it's really difficult thinking of good bad words to use
Nice take on endless runners!
Jumping-physics are quite fun!
A real-time-strategy-action-thing? Impressive!
Love the idea and evironment. Took me a while to figure out how to control guys though.
This is a great idea for a jump'n'run! You never die, just fall back to the last ledge.
I broke the game by moving onto a pile of blocks right before hitting the ground, which sent the stack sky-high :P
Do the colorful blocks appear later on? They look quite interesting, especially with the overlapping lights.
Nice one!
Persistence, in a twine game? Nice work!
Holy crap this is well written. It might take several playthroughs to uncover it all.
This is fun! Feels a lot like Descent :)
Love the use of light and trails
Don't forget to upload your source, to this counts for the competition :P (the link is dead)
Nice mechanic! I haven't seen anything like that before
A music-game? Nice work!
Putting the sounds together is a lot of fun, and totally works. I think an orthographic camera would work well, you kind-of look up/downon the hexagons.
Pacing could also be tighter, the "Titles" take up a LOT of time I don't want to spend being read something to.
Well, this is great!
nice work boiling down an rpg/roguelike. I like the fact that every room is just one object, and there is no actual movement within.
Nice work! The story-beats are great.
Surprising how well this idea works.
Nice work! Love the huge city. Car-variety is also quite cool
Lovely! Though quite hard
Love the idea of throwing flares - reminds me of AvP and Tomb Raider. Way to few games do this any longer.
Lovely jump'n'run! Music is great.
Could use some balancing though. You see the word "gun" very often, yet you can't shoot, despite your enemies being able to. The "obstacle" looks just wide enough to fit thourhg, so turning left is not very apparent. Also jumping is so powerful, you often jump out of the level.
Still, nice work, and it is fun :)
The Narration is brilliant, awesome work :D
Props to name-dropping Mondrian.
Ha, nice work making a set of difficulties!
Omg this is adorable! I caught a magical dream-fish! :D
The walking-sounds make this thing, somehow. Can't stop grinning at the tap-tap-tap-noise
Solid idea! This could work quite well.
Oh my god I totally forgot about colorblindess. I am so sorry :(
Also, I lol'ed :D
How could I fix this....this might actually take some time. Give me a day or so to come up with something
@Benjamin
Yes! The Par-Idea sounds perfect. I with I would have thought of that :P
Nice mood. Not sure if the "intro" was irritating, or the right length
Lovely idea :)
Nice work with the monochromatic colors! It doesn't feel like black/white at all.
Gameplay is also quite punchy. Not sure about the extensive text-boxes, they kind-of impede gameplay.
Screenshot looks interesting. But we need a link, or else we can't play it :(
Lovely sneaker! I like the high number of interaction-points
Nice idea!
A bit unforgiving though. The forced 3-sec-wait until yu can restart is painful.
The comma was cerebral. I got it quite quickly, I wonder if others will :P
This is fun. Seriously, nice work. The gun-mecahnic is great. The shells appearing is great. The Atmosphere is nice. The visual appearance is nice.
EXCEPT FOR THE BLOODY TEXT
which keeps interrupting what seems like a fun game and will hold it hostage until I acquiesce to its demands, which is stopping the "game", looking aways form the fun characters, comprehending the unnecessary text, and pressing "E".
Otherwise nice work!
Except for the text. I already mentioned that :P
Holy Crap this is amazing.
Seriously, everything works. The Wario-Ware-Gameplay is easily grokkable. Music fits beautifully, especially with the dancin Llama (DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO IGNORE IT).
The color-changes in tune to the music work well, and make you forget it's in monochrome most of the time. What tools did you sue for the music? Turned out quite well.
I'd say the rapid flashing in the menu might be a bit too cepilepsy-inducing, the in-game-speed would probably suffice.
Also love how "condensed" the dialogue is. The speed makes it much more interesting, and doesn't feel like it could be wasting my time. Also I love stereotypical british gentlemen.
potato
Nice take on the avoider-genre! Once again music improves it greatly.
Ha, this ia a great idea :D
This is lovely! The tutorial is great, and I like how the game ramps up afterwards :)
Nice idea! I didn't like having to return to the sphere though
Great idea! Took me a second to realize movements were mirrored, then the game took off :)
Nice work with the light!
This gets the Defense-feel quite right.
Nice swinging mechanic! Graphics and sound fit quite well too.
The world is a bit inconsistent though. Somethimes jumping down a chasm is the only way to advance, other times it kills me, eg
Nice little runner! The ball-grow-system is fun.
Alas, I do not believe this is on a slope (nice try though :). This is an even line with angled blocks next to it :P
(show the even beginning and a slop beneath it on the title-screen, and the illusion works better)
Fun shooter!
Nice game! Love the trail-effects and the graviotional pull of the object.
Fun music!
Great idea!
I thought it said "Fat King". Then I was said it didn't :(
Wow, impressive work! Bots are very hard, though
Love the sound-effects, they make this a lot more fun :)
This is great! Love the visuals and the Pink/Neon-Style. Controls are gameplay feel punchy enough too. The world switches make things interesting, but the game remained quite easy.
This game goes Off The Rails once you are done. Wow. I did not expect that.
There are a lot of things that it doesn't really need, though, which I think detract from the game. The story-screen only delays the actual "game", the title-screen is enough. The "Achievements" are quite obnoxious. there are better ways to include story-beats, like thought-bubbles,voice-narration, etc.
Also you don't have to explain how to press x in a special text, as it is all over the game :P
Love the idea of a "single move", it makes this quite tense.
Well, this is amazingly lovely. Nice work! :D
A city-builder, awesome!
Sdly it seemed to bug out after I placed something.
Remember to upload your source so this counts in the compo :P
Holy crap this is great. Lovely trippy effects, and the monster showing up is great.
Getting the weapon might be a bit tricky though. I glided up the side of the mountain, thinking it's a bug. Many people might quit beforehand.
With a PDF to print them out? Nice work!
The Intro is great :D
Also nice work on the music. The game itself turns out to be somewhat difficult.
Ahh, the rare mac-only game. It is always sad not many people will be able to play.
Still, the screenshot looks nice! :)
Nice puzzler! Like the "level-select"-idea.
Jumping-physics are somewhat off. you can reach max height only when already in motion, so you often don't seem to get over simply obstacles.
Ha, this is great. The text makes it. Physics are also quite punchy.
Nice work with the automatic interactions, it works quite well.
Nice clicker! suprisingly addicting. The feel is good, as is the music :)
Oh god the insane movement made this fun
It's not just "oh go over there" it's "Control this out-of-control piece!"
Nice idea! The change-up feels good. Also the music is great!
You also made a build for Android? Cool!
Nice one! I like the art-style and the multi-threaded level-design. Reminds me of Sonic :)
Mac-only? Hope this gets found!
This is neat. Nice work!
Ha, the sound-effects are great! :D
Solid game! love the "overworld". And the "bouncing". And the "Ta-DA" :)
I saw the number in the corner and though "Oh my god it is calculatin Pi how di I stop it" :P
Nice idea!
Ohh, this is a nice idea. You don't even have to explain, figuring it out is a cool moment :)
Ha, cool idea!
Lovely Puzzler!
Nice idea!
Mouse-locking is a bit off. People usually don't figure out it's "keep mouse-wheel pressed" :P
This idea is great :)
I think the controls aren't working for :(
Otherwise, nice music!
This. Is. Amazing.
Seriously, this is the best take on "10 secs" I've seen so far.
The idea is great, lends itself to many puzzles. Love the simple artstyle, and the music is cool too.
The the idea of "Do Nothing for 10 second!" is just /diabolical/ :P
Ohh, trippy. This is a fun idea :)
I like the skill-idea :)
Nice idea! Haven't seen anything like it before.
Ohh, self-referential. Nice idea!
These buttons are great! I wish there was more time to fiddle with them and make things explode
ohh that is diabolically tricky :D
Nice artstyle and game-idea!
And I wondered if that was a KevinMcLeod-track :P
This is a great Idea. Nice work!
The game-over-message is brilliant :D
Nice little racer!
Nice work! Simple and efficient.
The eating feels great, it's a good combination of animations and effects.
Solid platformer! the gun was a bit unsettling. You know, like guns tend to be.
Ha, this is great! love the pixel-style and the hover-texts. The story is great too.
And the title just makes it brilliant :D
Solid shooter! I really like that the gun doesn't auto-fire :)
A tiny bit rough around the edges. Without the gun-clipping and with the gameplay a bit more streamlined this could be even better :)
This is a great idea, exploring your mind to find stuff :)
Lovely graphics and atmophere! music fits nicely. The "game" is a bit hard to figure out though :(
Great platoformer! Love the artstyle and the humor of it all. Gameplay feels punchy too :)
Ha, love it!
Love the character! Game is a bit tricky to figure out though.
Android-only? bold choice. Hope it gets found!
Ha, it actually breaks after 10 seconds.
Nice visual stuff. I like the inverting of the colors. I also notice the Sosowski-Style beat in the background :P
Ha, this is a great idea. Reminds me of Spy-Party, only starring a lunatic spraying everybody with a fire-extinguisher :)
Nice take on putting a story fittingly on top of this, makes it much more interesting :)
Solid platformer!
nice idea!
The title is brilliant :)
This idea is brilliant. Amazing work with the "Do not turn off"-idea, this gets 5 stars in innovation :D
Lovely platformer! The press-against-the-wall-mechanic is great, I haven't that on a 2d-game before :)
Nice one!
Love the character-deign. OF COURSE she has her own death-robot :)
Love the font of this, for the authentic "mundane simulator"-feel :P
Great game-idea, this seems perfect for such an idea. Too bad we can't actually play it then :(
oh noes, the url 404's
Solid puzzler! Nice work with the light. Mechanics lend themselves for a good puzzler too :)
Solid platformer!
Nice idea!
Solid idea! this could be nicely extended. The exhaust going in the opposite movement-direction is a nice touch :)
Solid title! like the music.
Nice bullet-hell-shmup! Love the artstyle :)
The bullets are a bit difficult to spot on the background though, that makes it somewhat confusing
Ha, this is great. And punishing. And fun!
This is great! Love the beat and the little touches like the ball stretching and the wall-bounce.
Excellent work. Carry on :P
Neat :)
Nice one!
Solid runnner! This could very well extended :)
Nice idea!
Lovely survival-game! Nice idea of subdividing the task into mini-missions
Ohh, artsy. And moody. And a wee bit creepy :P
Android-Only? Bold Choice :P
Solid platformer! Level-design is pretty hard though.
Nice idea!
Nice work on the low-fi aesthetic!
Ha, looking at the console with its 167+ buttons is a nice panic-event :)
Ha, nice idea! love the character and the disarm-mechanic :)
Nice game! Love the idea, music and colors :)
Controls are a bit weird. I started dragging, but I couldn't sross the lasers. B ylcicking you insta-teleport, making dragging unecessary. But clicking can also insta-kill you, if you hit a wall. It's all over the place! :)
Solid platformer!
Nice idea! but sadly the controls kind-of ruin it. forward/backward/left/right does not work whenit's in a different direction from the viewpoint :(
Oh this is just diabolical/impossible :P
A sequel to the last Chez Angelo? Neat!
I remember that one. Moody. It's cool to see how the same game-idea and artstyle have evolved and improved :)
Ha, thisis great! Gameplay is nice, and the chractersare fun. Ilovehowit says "KILL" to start.
Having "shot" be on Enterthough is madness. I have to stop moving to actually be able to start contemplating hitting something
Solid TD! love the artstyle.
So I instinctively blew past the targets and circled the entire planetoid :P
Nice game! Love the orbital movement
Great title!
The music fits nicely, and gemplay is quite solid and fun. The comments make it awesome :)
Only gripe would be that the cool character-models detract from the quite sparse levels :P
Android-only? Bold choice :P
Ha, this is a great / brainy idea! Would love to see this extended :)
Ha, this is great. Love the idea. And the music :)
Nice idea!
I have no idea what's going. But the panicked faces of the characters are quite amusing :P
Lovely platformer!
Android-only? Bold choice. Hope this gets found!
Nice mechanic! ..although I'm still not quite sure what is supposed to happen :P
Well, this is creepy. Nice job on the atmosphere! It's just the right amount of dark, where you can only spot the important stuff. The glitches are also cool, you notice them only the 3rd or 4th time around.
Solid idea! this could be easily extended. Nice work with the light
Love the minigame-mechanic, it's much better than "just a button"
Nice idea! lengthy intro detracts from it though :(
This is a great idea. Nice work!
Oh this idea is great. If a bit difficult, though.
Lovely idea! The sheep with different sizes are great, it makes it much more interesting.
Solid shooter! Like the music-beat and lights flashing
Nice take on a runner! gameplay is punchy, and music fits well Controls and level-design make this somewhat trial+error-y though
This is lovely! Music fits nicely. Nice work!
Props for making an Ouya-Version!
Nice take on asteroids!
Nice survival-game!
Solid platformer! Love the wall-bounce-mechanic :)
The graphics are aamazing. And the concept too. Nice work!
the game itself takes some time to figure out though :P
Solid platformer! I like how the complexity ramps up :)
Nice one! I like the artstyle. The door-puzzle is great too :)
Great work on the graphics. Love the orange/white/black color-scheme. It's also cool how the interface integrates into the world, including the intro-gag :)
The jumping characters are great :D
Game is a bit hard to figure out though
Ohh, artsy :). Love the idea, this could be nicely extended
JESUS CHRIST
The first 6 seconds are TERRIFYING. Empty ghost-train? Manic scribblings on the wall? Dystopian sci-fi cityscape devoid of human life? Unnatural Thunderstorm-cover? This is heavy.
Then the ghost-train starts moving and you don't know what's happening, oh god oh god oh god. In this punishment for something? Why am I here? Is this hell?
The music takes the kick out of the atmosphere, when the "actual" game begins.
Nice work with the display-controls! Makes it really feel intense. A bit of a shame you end up looking at the dashboard instead of "forward".
5 Stars Mood for dystopian hellish cityscape
Ahh, the rare blender-game. Hope the right people find this!
Nice work with graphics and color!
Game was a bit difficult to figure out, though. In fact I still have no idea what is going on.
This is fun. Nice work!
oh god the accent is brilliant
This is cool idea! Perfect for multiplayer, indeed.
Great work with the mood! Love the itnro and how it teaches the light-mechanics-. The appearing texts are awesome :D
Solide platformer! I love the 3d-style of the coins. It would be even more awesome if everything was made that way :)
Fun idea! Captures the stress nicely
This is a fun structure. Nice work!
Lovely concept!
A bit surprised this hasn't been done before
Cool idea!
TIME SQUIRREL. This title is brilliant.
Lovely idea! I like the insane speed the slowdown-effect :)
Hope people will find this!
Nice idea! love the "inconvenient" line
Nes-Game? Awesome!
Ha, this is fun. Nice work! Music fits quite well :)
Great idea!
Solid foundation!
Nice job on using few colors. The plants animating is cool too :)
Nice idea!
This looks quite extensive for a game made from scratch in 48 hours. Nice work! Also good use of Unity-Resources.
Well this is brilliant. Nice choice of music.
But.. but can I pick up people? YES
Solid little puzzler!
It has a cat! 5 STARS GOTY
Seriously, this is great. The first room had me in shambles, with the timing, the moonwalk, and the sudden death :D
Amazing work!
Nice idea! Love the city-scape and all the stuff that takes places. It takes a while to figure out what to do though.
Solid platformer! nice work with the dripping-sound, very atmospheric :)
Nice idea!
Oh yes, first-person burger-flipping action :)
But there is no link :(
Nice idea! I totally did not expect that :P
Solid puzzler! Love the aesthetic :)
The Video Game of Real-Life Tetris! It's even in Russia :P
Looks like an interesting idea.
Are those assets from the Unity-store? Just creating the music or the gun/animations would take a skilled person morethan than the entire time of the jam :P
Oh, it's a Jam-game. I Apologize, I assumed it was a compo-thing. Sorry :)
Nice work on the multi-viewpoint-layout. It's fun when you rotate to an above point and suddenly the object is "flat"
Kitty Force 10? Excellent Name!
Solid platformer too :)
Solid adventurer! I like the dark/light switch :)
Nice work with the light! The voices trying to distract you are great :)
Interesting idea!
Nice idea! Love the blocky artstyle :)
Ha, this is brilliant. Nice work!
Nice faux 3d-models!
Nice work! Love the artstyle, and gameplay is quite smooth too :)
Nice idea!
This is lovely. Nice work!
ohh, artsy
Nice idea!
So I saw this anf thought "Hey, didn't that person already make a penguin-based game some time ago?"
This means the style is recognizable :)
Nice take on "click everything".games :)
Lovely reaction-game! The names are great. (they reminds me a bit of my own game :P)
Cool idea!
NES-Based game? Well this is just amazing :)
Ha, this is lovely. Love the choice of guineas :)
Ha, this is a fun idea. Fits perfectly for "10 seconds" :P
Solid adveturer! The control-"twist" is interesting.
Love the music, it fits quite well. The low-fi-artstyle works quite well too :=
Nice take on tetris!

Also, the main menu is quite cool.

Solid adventurer!
Ahh, the rare linux-only game. Hope this finds its audience :)
Solid TD!
Solid mp-title!

Too bad not many people will be able to actually "play" it :(
Cool idea!
Nice idea!
Lovely idea!
Love the first-person-interface!
Lovely atmosphere! I live the outline-shader, gives this a nice unique feel
Then I flew through the ground into the nirvana.
The idea seems interesting, but the "does require twitter" is a serious turn-off :(
Hope this gets found!
Are those stars? What is this place? ...tails? Oh, I get it. It's a Sperm-Simulator :P
Nice Stealth-game! Very good work on the blood-effects, they feel punchy :)

Ha, cool take on QWOP-style games! :D
Ouya-Version? Nice work! :D
This is great! Love the characters, the animations, the music, and the entire feels of it. And the gibs are hearts! Awwww
Gameplay is well-thought-out too. It's really diabolical the ones you don't ummunize are turning into monster, and ALSO attacking the ones you did save!
Love the Spanish Gag. At least I think it's a Spanish gag.
And look, McPixel! :P
This is Great. The gameplay is simple and efficient, the color-fading fun, and the timer ridiculously intuitive.

Nice. Reminds me of Asteroids :P
The orbital movement is great :)
Ha, this is a fun idea. A really complicated. It might take some time to figure it all out :P

This is a good idea. And could easily be extended into a mcuh larger game!
It is kind-of amazing how much infrastructure exists /around/ the game. It actually is kind-of distracting
Ha, lovely idea!
Solid game! Love the idea you have to throw your gun away
This is neat. Love the jumping character. kind-of expected an enemy made out of the same material as the background, essentially becoming invisible when standing still :)
This is lovely!
The combination of the different types is great. Music fits really well too :). Also love the sinning-coin faux-3d-effect
I got stuck in the red-wall-room with the red key. I didn't open the re wadll on the first try, and afterwards I couldn't open it either.

This is a quite interesting idea :)
Solid basis! With a lot of potential. Currently it's a bit rough around the edges, but still fun.
Music fits nicely, and Ilike the sound-effects.
Controls are a bit wonky though. Mouse+Drag does nothing, and on level 2 the cat spawns inside the geometry more often than not and immediately fails.
Still, solid work!
Nice combination of platformer and avoider! The animations are fun, and the music fits nicely :)
this is confusing :(

The atmosphere is working quite well too, the breathing is creepy.
Nice shooter! reminds me very much of canablt (in style, not gameplay :P )
Love the minigame-mechanic, it's much better than "just a button"

Nice work with the sonar-system!
This is lovely, nice work! :)
Neat idea! Love the underwater-atmossphere, it's usually hard to pull that off.
As usually with 3d-"space-sim"-controls, 50% of the player like "up-button moves up", while the other half is adjusted to "flight-stick"-controls. A button to switch that around would've been great!
ohh, spooky :)
Lovely RTS!

Good lord this is a lovely piece of surrealism. Sentient Bovines giving cryptic advice. The faces of the dead fused into the very ground we tread upon. The horror.

Copyright 1981 is a fun touch!
This is lovely! the snap-back-to-middle-movement is fun, as are the double-dinos. I get a "survive together" vibe from this, but sometimes it feels like a extra-life ;P
Alos nice tough to have several level-backgrounds, makes this much less repetitive
awww, this is super-lovely :)
This is lovely! And so much fun sneaking around :). The in-game interface (numbers and tutorials) work very well, as do the guard-vision-cones. The voxel-style is also cool.
A Few issues I noticed:
- Diagonal moving is quicker than horizontal/vertikal. I know that bug, I've seen it in other projects. The move-directions get added, normalizing the move-vector stops this
- Invisible walls at the level-egde are irritating
- The colliders on the pumpkin-vegetable-field are fiddly and not fun
Great work! :D
Lovely idea and execution!
Spooky! Nice work :)
This is lovely!
Lovely work! The cuboid voxel-land is great :D
