LD4 — Infection

Commies! by randomnine

I love it how the game teaches gameplay as you go on.. also, this one has a nice sensible-software sort of feeling.

Virgil by LordCovenant

Can't quit the game while a game is in progress? And when alt-f4 is pressed, the task is left in the background, playing sound. Other than that, a very fun game!

infekchion by illume

Tries to access the net.. eek =)

Zombiepox by peitz

Cute graphics.

none yet by Skalle

Too bad it wasn't finished - the graphics are kewl =)

Peanut Butter: The Simulator by Zaphos

Kudos for trying to stretch the theme to its outer limits.

infection-terror by Chronocore

Runs so fast on my PC that when I tap "up", the player dies instantly by hitting the roof. Too bad.

Snag by shredwheat

Nice otherwise, but doesn't really have anything to do with the theme.

Mind Controlling Killer Virus! by survivor

Metal Gear Virus =)

Shrooms! by zoggles

A bit confusing on what the winning condition is..

Vaccinator by Negator

Weird controls.

Cuzco's Goat Bloat Game by philhassey

Nice soundtrack.

Innoculator4x4 by smx

Weird graphics mode

Anti-Botic by tomkh

Somewhat weird.. and is there any way to win?

LD19 — Discovery

Apple Quest II: Return of the Discovery by cptalbertwesker 2010-12-31T11:43:00

The level up/down dialogs are really distracting.. if they were only shown once, that would be enough.
Picked 166 apples, going up and down levels 1-3, then got bored and stopped doing anything until it leveled me down enough to end the game.

Anacalypse by bildramer 2010-12-31T19:37:00

Well, basic idea is nice I suppose, but without any way to actually lose, it's a bit dull.

You Found the Crystal by GameRoom 2010-12-31T11:58:00

For some reason my keyboard doesn't seem to recognize "up" after "right" is pressed in this game - I've never had that issue with any other game. That means the jumping puzzles became pretty impossible after a couple of levels.

Night of the Muglies by sol_hsa 2010-12-18T20:46:00

You can also run the game in windowed mode by launching it with any parameter. Like:

muglies.exe windowed

Prophecy by PaulSB 2010-12-31T20:10:00

As a spreadsheet game, the UI could be more efficient.

Quest for the Four Altars! by Staggy 2010-12-31T12:25:00

Good job! This is also the first LD entry I managed to actually solve this time around.. =)

Negative side is that I can't quite see how you can fail in this game..

Cold Fusion by Grieve 2010-12-31T12:06:00

Nice, and ended up playing this much longer than I would have thought. In the end, trying to keep more than two generators on felt futile, so I just started going around the two closest ones.. if I tried to reach a third, the gremlins would shut down one (or two) of the earlier ones. Thus it became somewhat boring wait while doing a small circle..

1492 by wlovas 2010-12-31T19:59:00

osx only..

The Secret Documents by Danik 2010-12-31T20:18:00

Only gripe I have is that it's impossible to know if it's safe to drop down or not..

Deep sea discovey by piotrekb 2010-12-31T12:18:00

Rule violation: uses pre-made music, so I rated without sound.

PRIOR by krangGAMES 2010-12-31T21:06:00

Excellent. I just wish subject &#! would move a bit faster.. =)

Alchemy by panderia 2010-12-31T12:21:00

Rather ambitious, which explains why it's so unfinished.

Presidential Gold Hunt by Lagunacloud 2010-12-31T20:26:00

Just glancing at the screenshot says this violates enough of the rules that I'll pass.

BEARoNAUT by uncade 2010-12-31T19:38:00

unity web player needed, no thanks.

Dodge and Collect! by Elegwa 2010-12-31T20:41:00

Is it by design that you can fly off the left edge and don't need to dodge anything? =)

Treasure Shuffle by xkirby 2010-12-31T20:35:00

Not much of a game, as there doesn't seem to be anything you can do to affect the outcome. Kind of a russian roulette. Pick random option until you die.

Discover - Collect - Profit by SpaceManiac 2010-12-31T12:19:00

2011 - Last Ride of the Discovery by dertom 2010-12-31T12:26:00

Requires unity web player, no thanks.

Mother Robot by increpare 2010-12-31T20:32:00

Something about the control scheme was awkward to me, but otherwise - excellent work!

Explosive Transcendental Circulatory System by NiallM 2010-12-31T20:28:00

What is this I don't even

The Detectorizer by danblack 2010-12-31T11:54:00

Pretty nice. The metal detector could have a slightly larger range though =)

LD20 — It's Dangerous to Go Alone! Take This!

how to be a girl by Cosr 2011-05-05T07:53:00

Atmosphere comes through very well, as well as the feeling of frustration. Just needs some closure. And/or a way to vent said frustration.

Let Me Save You! Your Faithful Companion by Nyaa 2011-05-02T11:36:00

Amazing work for such a short time span.

Guinea Pig Warrior by tonic 2011-05-02T05:16:00

One day Tonic will name his entries something else than Warrior, and it'll be "CCCCCCombobreaker". =)

LD22 — Alone

Worst Birthday Ever by sol_hsa 2011-12-20T05:34:00

Launch with any parameter for windowed mode.

Cat Capture by cjke.7777 2011-12-20T19:21:00

Character physics (and/or controls) make this unnecessarily difficult.

LD26 — Minimalism

Super 1-Bit Space Arena by Orni 2013-04-29T08:44:00

Just lovely =) For a post-compo version, do try changing the color scheme to something more LCD-ish (silver/black), and add a slight motion blur =)

Only a Keyboard by Lidfrid 2013-04-30T16:40:00

That was frustrating.. and the last one was downright cruel =)
Refreshingly different.

TerraFrank by supr_g33k_7120 2013-05-02T14:03:00

soo.. there's no game?

LD26 Crimson Tide by Neurolabe 2013-04-29T05:35:00

Didn't quite get what I was supposed to do, really.

mesh by nseward 2013-04-29T06:25:00

Absolutely brilliant! I'd swap the last two levels though, as the second-to-last is easily the most difficult.

Mass Splitter by scriptorum 2013-04-29T05:40:00

Great idea, I would love to see this developed further =)

The Minimalism Quest by Pol 2013-04-29T06:55:00

The ending was a bit gross though..

Coder by RealyUniqueName 2013-04-29T06:04:00

RealyUniqueName: you can always make a post-compo version that doesn't enter the competition itself.

GrowPotato by RedSounding 2013-04-29T07:27:00

Yeah, it was pretty minimal.

AlterSpace by guestcheap 2013-04-29T06:17:00

Space didn't seem to do anything in the second level, and I got stuck :(

Terminally ill by Sebastian 2013-04-29T08:41:00

Telling player to enter commands with keyboard and then suddenly requiring mouse input was harsh. Having the web player steal the mouse required me to alt-tab outside to kill the game.

Pillar by drkrunk 2013-05-02T13:21:00

Great beginning! You should definitely develop this further.

Life in a nutshell by Pixelfan Games 2013-05-02T13:56:00

Turn On The Machine by intrudergames 2013-04-29T07:21:00

Adjustable speed would have been nice.

Two Players Required by cjacobwade 2013-04-29T05:08:00

The.. color picking? thing was rather confusing.

The Bends - Minimum to Anoy by TinyGolem 2013-05-02T13:28:00

TATERUSH by nicotuason 2013-04-29T05:16:00

=)

Zip by Chronodrax 2013-04-29T06:59:00

Excellent! All this one needs is a cheerful soundtrack =)

Ming Imah Lism the Wizard ! by Gustera 2013-04-29T08:35:00

The fireballs launch from the top of the player's sprite, making tight sideways corridors pretty much impossible places to fight in.

Block Man by RyanK 2013-05-02T18:35:00

If the controls were a little bit more responsive, this could be lots of fun.

1BtnBounce by Fnkee 2013-04-29T05:50:00

As simple as the controls are, it took me a few games to figure them out. =)
Cool music!

Sense Certainty by Behemoth 2013-04-29T05:43:00

Feels like the game's just wasting the player's time. I know it's minimal, but some sense of purpose would be nice.

Starhook by sparksgently 2013-04-29T06:52:00

Ahhh.. Shatter's radial mode =) Too bad there's no sound.

Color Blind by Alec Von Arx 2013-04-29T07:16:00

Deceitfully simple, after 10 points it was hard to even notice there's a block there at all =)

Existential Journey Into The Abyss Of Self Actualization And Peace by MCovert 2013-04-29T05:32:00

Quite nice. Couldn't get past the first "phasing block", though :(

Node Hero by Deadlyapps 2013-05-02T11:04:00

Over 5000 points, and lol, I have no idea what I'm doing... =)

Path by apenasisso 2013-04-29T05:28:00

Best application of the theme I've found so far. Figuring out where exactly to stop to hit the cylinder is a bit tricky though..

Ellipse Madness by shaircast 2013-04-29T06:29:00

Great example of indirect control =), and also a great example of how to make people motion sick.. =)

Steam-Cube by Monoquartz 2013-05-02T13:46:00

This was fun. I'd make the spikes a bit less deadly (reducing their hit box, mainly), and some early on levels are much harder than later ones - I spent a long time on "mix", then ran through the next few levels without problems. Too bad you didn't name all the levels, or I could tell you at which point I gave up =)

STFC by CRamoysi 2013-04-29T08:38:00

Timer to show how much time you have left, and visible score counter would have given some kind of idea what's going on.. =)

ColorMeld by ThreeUp 2013-04-29T06:07:00

21.8 seconds. I just put mouse on a blob and kept shaking, and something happened. Then I got a big black blob, and timer stopped.

PRISMA by Dark Acre Jack 2013-05-02T10:47:00

Didn't get past red :(

Platform Jumper by attagcatc 2013-04-29T06:40:00

Well, I'll be damned, someone did do it. Here's another month's license code for rating purposes: 015C00C8FAA01173B03533312122252A351A1BDB38CD1DC084E17265203335

Platform Jumper by attagcatc 2013-05-02T17:15:00

attagcatc: you've given me reason to do some optimizations.. which is probably a good thing. Bad side: the optimizations needed aren't exactly trivial.. =)

In any case, I'm adding this to the Atanua distribution.

Platform Jumper by attagcatc 2013-05-02T17:16:00

..you may want to email me a readme you want attached to it =)

Pulcino by Vincenzo 2013-05-02T13:14:00

Not much of a game, but it sure is pretty.

Sanity by JonRB 2013-04-29T06:46:00

Sometimes it seems I died when I got more blue, and sometimes it seems I got further when I got more red. Confusing? Since human eye isn't all that good in seeing hues of blue and dark red, light cyan / dark blue might have worked better..

Squares by KunoNoOni 2013-05-02T10:48:00

Reminds me of my earlier "minimal" LD entry, except in that one you controlled the block with a mouse =)

LD27 — 10 Seconds

Elevator Pitch by Back to Browse Entries 2013-08-26T17:50:00

Did what a sane VC would do and declined all of them, and the game gave a rather odd result.

Flicker by lalanl 2013-08-26T06:44:00

Having some indicator on how much time you have left before you respawn would be nice..

Kittens Go! by xhunterko 2013-08-26T06:46:00

White text on yellow background was a bit hard to read :/

Defusing Emily by ydg 2013-08-26T07:01:00

Well that.. was.. um. different. =)

10 Second Paths by laserbeam 2013-08-26T06:49:00

Item placement mechanic isn't very clear.. a more standard drag'n'drop might be more intuitive?

10 Second Shooter by mcbeckjr 2013-08-26T17:40:00

Pressing space also scrolled the window, which made the game a bit hard.. =)

Notes of a melody by Zerkruemler 2013-08-26T17:36:00

Admit it - you did this just to show off your mad ukulele skillz. =)

Hankerin Rocket Jocks by sanojian 2013-08-26T06:14:00

Getting those pizza slices to stay on board is pretty tricky =)

LD29 — Beneath the Surface

LD30 — Connected Worlds

ComboTwin by c023-dev 2014-08-25T17:37:00

Funny and fun idea, gets boring rather quickly though.

A Brief Excursion by MalphasWats 2014-08-26T09:46:00

Player movement could be a teeny bit faster..

On the edge of Earth: 5000 by Hypnohustla 2014-09-12T06:27:00

Played this through without reading instructions. Most of the time I had no idea what's going on, so I assumed I was trying to get some kind of communication link going. Then I, apparently, uh, blew up the moon, and got a "the end". That was a bit wtf-y. =)

Bound by grayhaze 2014-09-01T16:45:00

Too bad about the random swapping, the gameplay was rather fun otherwise. If the swapping had some logic to it, the game would feel more "fair"..

These Cosmic Chains by ploogle 2014-08-25T19:45:00

Is it possible to lose? I kept going for a couple of minutes, the music restarted, felt like there's no challenge.. am I missing something?

Daydream Runaway by psychonull 2014-08-26T10:57:00

Runs way too fast. Assuming there's more than one level, the first level(s) should be really easy.

Hello Worlds by dustyroom 2014-08-26T09:15:00

Like others have stated, the game is way too hard from the start.. I'd slow it down, and have an indicator that shows the four blocks and what will appear next.

Misplaced by akymos 2014-08-25T17:21:00

Great! After I found a a few supercolliding superbuttons I ended up on orbit around a planet with no way to land and suffocated :/

Linker by Digiraze 2014-08-25T16:44:00

A bit hard to say whether you're doing a good or a bad job. You solve any level by just clicking on one wormhole long enough.. sure you get a score, but it's hard to say if it's a good or a bad one..

Drift Off by DrMelon 2014-08-25T16:52:00

Tried playing a couple of times, couldn't figure out the controls in the third one (ninjas in school etc). Apparently you can do a very high jump or wall jump or something, but that only occurred randomly and I couldn't control it.

World Shift by bconrad217 2014-09-02T06:45:00

"web" link goes to a web page with the zip, not a web version..

Parallel Rift by liquidminduk 2014-08-26T09:18:00

The game doesn't fit on my firefox window even when maximized =) (1920x1080 screen)

Worlds Insight by SelfishGenome 2014-08-26T09:43:00

The controls are a bit too "floaty" for precision platforming. A bit more friction perhaps?

The Scientist by Bubblman 2014-09-01T16:36:00

Nice music, the recording could have used a slight low pass filter though..

One Last Scotch by sdroadie 2014-09-02T06:47:00

"web" link goes to a page that lists the files, not the game itself..?

Caelum by Rocketship 2014-08-26T09:22:00

Ahhh.. those crunchy sounds <3

Starpiercer by Schrodinger Games 2014-08-31T18:43:00

Most polished jam game I've seen so far, although it does feel a bit unfinished in that it just seems to go on forever with no "higher goal" or difficulty ramp..

Ancient Eyebrows by StrideWide 2014-08-25T17:42:00

That... was positively weird. =)

Hide! by nataku92 2014-08-26T09:30:00

Yup, difficulty is way too high.

Tree,house by rezzish 2014-09-02T06:52:00

Nice start. As a 48h entry, you should post sources, though.

Player Connection by Jorjon 2014-09-02T06:52:00

Another jam stub. There should be a way to drop out even if you submit a stub..

Disc Jockey Jockey by mildmojo 2014-09-02T06:12:00

Seeing that people do post these stubs there should be some option of opting out after the fact..

LD35 — Shapeshift

Capital Offense by GAFBlizzard 2016-04-18T06:58:00

Interesting.. very challenging, though. Some sound would have been nice.

Arnold Stallion's Pump or Die by arzi 2016-04-19T09:53:00

As keys, z/x/c would probably work better for a webgl export. Really funny, too bad it's so short :/

Boxey by ShadowBrain 2016-04-19T17:16:00

htc vive might be tad bit of a niche as of yet.. =) I hope you'll get your ratings.

2D-Tris by Monofraps 2016-04-19T18:10:00

That was definitely a .. twist. get it? Ha ha.. Ok I'll go.

Heroic Sex Bazooka by tsjost 2016-04-18T10:00:00

Really fun sounds =)

Vehicle shifter by Titan 2016-04-18T11:58:00

Nice. Took a while to figure out the controls, the swap between car and rocket wasn't obvious =).

Quarantine by nicotuason 2016-04-18T06:33:00

Great mood and audio. No idea whatsoever how to solve the game though.

LycanQuest by mactinite 2016-04-18T05:23:00

Really nice, pretty and atmospheric. As others have noted, some checkpoints would be nice, and longer levels would be nice.

Some of the sound effects are so loud they clip which doesn't sound too nice.

I could easily see this become a bigger game with actual story and stuff =)

Blackula the Vampirate by damrem 2016-04-18T11:51:00

Pretty nice graphics. The gameplay itself feels rather random, I gave up trying to figure out whether the ship descriptions have anything to do with which option I should choose, so I ended up spamming either zombie or shark depending on which stat seemed lower. The sound effects also seem totally random and have nothing to do with whether you win or lose a fight.

Battle of Britain 2 by SuperChihuahua 2016-04-18T05:45:00

I got the plane select and path drawing and that works quite well, but on top of that I have no idea what was going on in the game. There were explosions and green boxes that appeared(?), but I have no idea where those came from.

Wood for the Trees by ratking 2016-04-20T06:29:00

Okay, I'm done. This is the best one in LD35 that I've played.

Fluffie Breeder by Suvidriel 2016-04-18T05:54:00

It works, I wonder if it would have been better if you left the drums out completely though.

Since you put the box there, I first tried to drag the fluffies to the box, but the mechanic became pretty clear quickly when I tried to do that.

I was also surprised that the fluffies I used disappeared, but I guess it would make the game too easy if this didn't happen... maybe only being able to use each one once would work? But that's a different game. And you'd get a flood of fluffies anyway.. =)

Call of the Wild by stephenhaney 2016-04-18T05:59:00

This is a compo entry - where's the source code? ('view source' in browser works, I suppose, but having a separate zip would be nice).

Pretty nice music, fits the theme definitely, more levels would have been nice.. Fun while it lasted.

Posthistoric Ooze by hunttis 2016-04-18T06:29:00

Nice. The music fits the game too.

It would be nice if there would be some way to remove placed totems though. I tried to change one totem to another, but apparently the old one stayed behind the new one because the old effect still happened.

Soothsayer Simulator 2016 by iceburg7 2016-04-18T05:26:00

Well, that was definitely different. I expected one thing, and got something I wasn't expecting.

Future-Anthropology Facility by JohnGalt 2016-04-18T05:16:00

Nice game, good graphics. Played it a couple of times and maybe I'm just thick but I can't figure out what should tip off what the solution is. Maybe it's unclear what the rules of a shapeshifter in this game's lore is.
Really calls for some kind of audio (played the compo version).

Worked fine for me on firefox. *shrug*.

69040m - Nice game, and the music fits the game perfectly too, even though you didn't make it. I would have gotten a much better score if I could just see where I'm going, but that darn ship is in the way.. =)

Thanks for the webgl export. Okay... I played this far longer than I probably should have. Fun with different guns, although I'd have expected a bit more challenge maybe? When I decided to stop playing I had to work towards getting myself killed, with 15 health collected etc.

Web link isn't a web link.

Great sound - music wrapped up when game's over was really nice.

Fun minimalistic idea. I quickly just moved the tiles to a horizontal line and that seemed to be a winning strategy for quite a long time. Some sounds would be nice?

Great graphics. The gameplay works, but feels like I should memorize the levels. If I switch between worlds, for example, I may not have time to react to an approaching wall - unless I've memorized the level and know I shouldn't switch here.

Pretty nice take on a stealth game. The music really creates a tense mood. I did have to retry the first level a bunch of times because one enemy does a 180' turn without any kind of warning.

Okay, this was fun and... weird =)
