Arcady game, nice music, and good job on level design with the little green hints. Solid game! Congratulations!
Clever toy! I seriously liked it! And best use of the theme I've seen so far! I loved the way you teach the player how the red blocks and other mechanics work! Visuals are good enough to communicate the idea but could use some polish and some sound FX would have been nice too. You seem clever enough with the tools and with gamedesign, now practice some visuals and music =D Congratulations on finishing and doing so with a good product!
Cool visuals! And pretty complex. I suck at typing though =( ... but overall it feels pretty complete and solid, I like that! Good job!
Heya! Loved the comments of the dude! Grafix are fair enough too. And the whole presentation and setup is neat! Enemy AI is cool. Solid work! Congratulations!
Chrome destroys the file for me too =(
You got me to read text... I feel your motivation to express those things on the topic of rich/poor separation. It's a topic I dwell on a lot too. However it would have been nice to see it all in some gameplay mechanics. Audio would have been nice too. You should write a little interactive story and not bother about making it 'a game' or toy if you want to get that stuff out your system. Games do have a lot of interesting tools to tell a story, but i would not make a game just to tell a story. You could make a story and entertain that with mini games... (you know, approaching it with a different mindframe) ... Im just trying to give something 'constructive' (I don't believe in constructive critique, but I tried =) And anyway it's nice to hear that you feel improvement in your skills and keep that up! It aint easy to get things done. Congratulations!
Yey! I'm on my way to HELL! Yipiee! Free beer! ... not to sure about the religious content. I just stuck to the dark skinned guy at the beginning, smoking hell herbs and talking about girls... guess I belong in hell then. =) ... other than the religious stuff it was all functional and playable good work and congratulations on finishing!
♥
Good mood! I liked the colors and shapes with the smooth audio. Animations were a bit weak compared to the rest though.
I liked the spikes in the first level... good sequence. Art and music missed my taste a bit. I found myself holdtn the jump button all the time and timing the stuff like I'm on a pogo stick - maybe try that for gameplay - just go left and right and let the character jump all the time, that was fun =D
Wow, Nice work and great presentation. I luv da way dat beat drops in ;)
Nice idea and the visual representation is pretty decent. Congratulations on finishing!
Hey, great idea! Tiny ingame notes for first double jump and pressing the pump would have been handy. It took me a second look on this site to know the controls. (You have an infinite jump when touching the ceiling btw. - maybe put in an extra true/false to check if the second jump was already executed) I enjoyed the naive art! Especially the kicking of the transdimensional egg =D ... Any artist could now pimp that to make it a solid experience. Congrats!
Controls were a bit fast but I liked the concept and the visuals. Good Job! Congrats on finishing!
Chrome destroys the download.
Nice artwork, as usual. Also cool to have the fast red things to give the world some threat. Weapon was cool too, though I would have loved to hear it... like a tearing sound for launch and some boombastic impact sound =D ... oh and the music loop is a little short ... congrats.
Fun to play and watch the moves. Grafix are fair enough too (although using unity for that may be a bit of an overkill =) And I guess the theme is that the rooms are connected. Congratulations on getting it done in time!
Actually pretty good fun! Liked the pulsating UI that was actually on time with the music! Good work on that! Overall congratulations! Solid work!
Ha! Nice one 48.88 ... cool grafix, good audio and its Phaser so... I liked this *Salut from html5devs forum!
Good game! With Techno! Yey! Thumbs and toes up! =D
Nice visuals!
I liked the screenshots and the initial feel to the visuals. Keep working on that solid style! The Animations could use some more *Umpf* to them when attacking I wasn't sure about the attack range. Otherwise the controls worked fine. The leveldesign might have worked better with solid tilemaps. I somehow got stuck in the floor behind the Special1. Overall nice entry and big-up for getting it done in time!
I liked the control switching, stuff like that activates my otherwise sleeping brain =) ... maybe a hint to the controls would have been helpful rather than the 'story'? (Just me, I don't read much text nowadays...) Not too much of a fan of the short music loop and as you mentioned the visual 'art' ... I've read it before... consistency and simplicity work fine too - it doesn't have to be 'ART' ;)
Good concept, nice choice of sound, pretty colors and forms. Sweet lil game... scores pretty high on my list! Maybe some more feedback to the actions you take (for production and transmition etc). Anyway good solid job! Congratulations!
File gets blocked by Chrome but would love to give this a try =(
Liked the visuals! Good work on that!
Pretty hard. Simplicity is good and cool but I did miss some more defining visual representation. Congratulations on submitting!
Hey, your WEB entry is actually a Windows installer. The visuals would be quite nice, yet you broke the pixel consistency with the bullet hulls -they are way smaller than an average pixel. And the explosions have a different resolution too, that breaks the whole visual concept. I like the speed but there was no real challenge. Overall, nice idea and congratulations on getting it presentable and it would be nice if you can bring some challenge to it post comp. Pce!
Heya! Congratulations on getting the idea out! Nice title image and concept. Keep it up!
Spot on with the topic! I had a little problem with executing the attack, the range was a bit to close and the skeletons hurt quite bad... Good and solid communication of a nice idea! Sweet!
