Connecting LD30 to the Real World by Will Edwards 2014-08-26T20:48:00
Incredible!
Navigation on the map is little bit weird but I like the idea very much.
...and I see that we are 3 guys in the Czech Republic! :D
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → Users → Lokiman

Yes, this is what I call a good "multidimensional" pixelart platformer for the theme! :D Perfect... but I somehow knew it even before I started the game :P
Great graphics, great music and great game overall! :D
To bad that controls seem a little bit tricky (key input is somehow lagging ) :(
I see that you changed the original "transport for free" service to paid one :D
Definitely needs a sandbox mode where you will be scored based on your "tricks" with the heli....like skateboarders in the air :)
I took me some time to figure it all out but in the end the "resource managements" mechanic works very good with your visual style.
But remove the GUI and add some info/help :)
Graphics/models looks very nice and gameplay was fun but the "noise" sound makes it a little bit difficult to synchronise the "eating". Why not to use some drum instead?
This is a nice example of a really polished game.
Short but cool anyway. It has its own cute artistic style and I like it. Extra points for Ghibli reference :D
I don't really play card games but it doesn't hurt to try some once or twice a year right? :D :D :D
This game was quite a surprise for me and one can spend good time trading goods and traveling between planets. Also extra points for webGL :D
It has a nice Tron/Matrix vibe, hasn't it?
Btw there is a bug - I was caught inside the evil "GlitchPillar" :D
Very oldschool art style and I like it. Plenty things to do on the spaceship... and the zero gravity scene, just perfect :D
The idea is simple but it works and it's fun! :D
I really had fun playing this abstract game! Add ambient music and subtle sounds and it will be perfect :D
Damn you space pirates! I will show you... pew pew pew... eat this s*it... I mean my hamburgers! :D :D :D
Nice game but I would change the way how you land/leave the planets. Something more easy and faster. Now it is little bit complicated and it doesn't add to the gameplay. Good music and firing effect.
PS.: why is the turret shaking/blinking? :)
Goes nice with the theme! Needs an indicator for unit selection though :D
This game fits the theme perfectly. I love the "3D" camera. But the floor is very slippery :D :D :D
Classic "2 dimensions" 2D concept done in 3D :D Yes it works but it is one dimension more difficult :P
You decided to do coop game for LD48!? Crazy, just crazy for such a short time but hell yeah, it worked great! ;)
Very good for 48 hours. I love 3d puzzles and this one is great! It needs polish with some "fancy indie" artstyle plus new levels and is ready for steam! :D
Definitely one of the games with the best mix of art, music and mood.
At first I thought that there is no OSX/web version (Windows label was confusing) but it is a java app so it is OK :D
Good luck with Post Compo development because the "god game" idea is always promising!
I came here for the girl but I was amazed by the visuals so I decided to stay a little bit longer...
Hehe, just joking. This is the true masterpiece for a game made in 48hrs of development. I love the postprocessing effects, cables, their shadows, particle systems...man, too just many little things and everything is on pro level!
Really simple idea behind this game but it works perfectly!
Extra points for ResidentEvil-like vibe! .. menu, intro, mansion... even knife and crazy control scheme! :D
Great!
Good spinoff of a classic laser/mirrors mechanic. Like the blocky art style but the "good vibrations" need similar visual style for its particle system :D
It is true that I came here for the Gundam pixelart but the game is nothing like that! I want my money back... but wait, this game is really good... guys, forget the Gundam and PLAY it now! :D
Btw the intro was nice but I would like to have an option to skip it when playing for the second or third time :)
I like the trails, textures and voice in the beginning :)
At first I thought this is Jam entry but no... man, this is incredible! Good job.
I wonder how did you managed to get all done in 48hrs... I think it must all be skill, preparation, planning and time management :D
First it hit me with oldschool controls (rotating by keys) but overall it is really funny game! Jupiter gang stands no chance agains my nunchuks! .. and here I come again! :P
Reminds me of my old "mechanical" Etch A Sketch game .. but then I realized that I must be quick and survive and not draw a picture, haha :D :D :D
This is crazy guys :D
Yes, yes and yes! One of the best games I tried in Ludum Dare 30! Good job man :D
Good start but I begs for more development. I can imagine this being a "minigame" in some bigger Civilization-like game :D
At first is seemed like a game with complex rules but in the end I figured it all without problems and played it for quite some time :D Also I give you extra points for several difficulty settings.
Love the music!
Definitely a "Heterochroma" feel :D Controls need some additional tweaks though :)
Nice game guys! :) Now just add more depth/content and it will be ready for Appstore :D
Audio is a little bit glitchy/noisy and the rope doesn't always worked (W/S effect) but hey, I played my Spiderman style and it was fun! :D
Those poor souls :D
Nice little "life" simulation. Description fits this game perfectly (casual game for geeks :D
I came here for the screenshot - artwork looks cool! :D To bad you don't have OS X version :(
I like the art :D Too bad I can't try it on mobile device.
My eyes hurt but it is challenging game so why not? :D
Interesting idea and it worked for me! :D The interaction/use controls are a little bit difficult though.
I generally like visual novels so this game was a good choice to try ;) Too bad that there are not so many choices what to do... but I love the art. Very similar to style in Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni. Extra points for that! :D
How to connect two worlds together? :D
Clean design but remove those background soft particles :) Also movement need some hotfix but this is definitely good for 48 hrs!
A little bit difficult on the first try (I didn't get the rules) but when I found out I was much better :)
I like the music and sound effects. Also the intro was great! Really a solid game.
I had some nice time fighting the enemies but the controls or "responsiveness" could be better :D
I couldn't try the game ( I am on OSX ) but I watched your video.
This game look great. Good choice for UE, this really makes a difference :) The idea is simple but the result is perfectly fine. Calm and atmospheric!
PS. I like how you explained in your video how you "programmed" the game using UE - this visual programming is really something :D
At first I sucked but then I own3d ... and then I sucked again until I found out about the servers! :D
Good job on the game guys, I really had fun helping those BFUs! :)
Interesting chess variation. I didn't really get it in first few levels but then it suddenly started to make sense :D Also, awesome graphics! :D
The link should be working now. Sorry for confusion! :D
@ainokaisa thanks for the bugreport! :D
Will there be an OSX or patched Web version?
Great implementation of the theme! :D
The game is rather difficult platformer but I love the challenge. Also thanks for nice retro music! :D
Nice art and audio! :D Hero looks badass with his mighty flamethrower but those snowmen look rather scary don't they? :D
Wow, what a interesting concept and implementation :D I have fun playing with washing machines!
Btw is there a restart button somewhere?
I am not sure how exactly but the keyboard based controls could be more "friendly" :)
Extra points for including the Snowman (another theme candidate for this LD) into your game :D Everybody loves snowmen right? :)
I like the idea of having the game world on the cube. At first I didn't really get what's going on but after some time I figured it all out :) (my bad that I didn't read the text before playing the game)
Nice idea guys I had mu fun playing the game but it was a little bit confusing in the beginning ... you should definitely build more stuff into the game and make it more challenging with greater interactivity and also add a tutorial if possible :D
Btw the audio was really nice.
Looks interesting, too bad it doesn't have OSX/Web build :(
The game looks nice but I just can't figure out how to land on a plant. Is there a special place when the module needs to land?
I'm no good in real life BBQ, but doing it in the game was fun as hell :D
Extra points for pro voice acting!
Too bad you didn't make it in time for compo but we all can play and enjoy the virtual BBQ anyway so it doesn't matter, right? :D
Looks interesting :D
Too bad it's Windows only, how about a web version?
Solid game... actually two games :D
Btw I think I killed everything on the map but nothing happened. Didn't find the guardian nor chalice anywhere. Found a red mage in one of the houses but he didn't attack me so I left him alone :D
Great game for your first time doing LD! :D Love the graphics - so oldschool. Also some of the culprit's answers are hilarious :)
This one is a really strange game indeed :D
This one is really good! I give it 5 of 5 :D
Love the you implementation of theme, the graphics/animations, audio and the puzzles. Simple yet interesting. Also the horned santa was great! :D
PS.: when the santa appeared some of elements from previous level remained in the scene.
Bad Rudolf bad! :D
The game is rather hardcore but like the challenge. Controls seem a little bit "unresponsive" though.
What a beautiful game and nice ending!:D You really did a great job for a LD jam entry! :)
At first it seemed a little bit difficult but after some time I figured out the strategy :) Also I love the music! :D
Simple yet nice coarse pixelart graphics but the gameplay is a little bit too difficult isn't it? :D
Congratz on your first LD! You did really well and I like your game :)
Picking loot should be automatic though :D
A like the audio but the lack of instructions + increased difficulty makes this game a little bit hard to get :D
Background artwork is beautiful!
The game is simple but can be a challenge to stay alive for longer time - the eagle is rather dangerous :)
Haha! what a nice idea about the "game" inside the TV :D Had my fun surfing the channels :D
Windows 95 strikes back! The game is rather difficult but It was really fun and well made :)
Reporting that OSX version works but my system was completely overwhelmed by those pesky viruses! :)
I think that zoom mechanic is not really needed because of the short time to find the killer. If found him though but the challenge is rather high :D
Those SFX are really something! :D
What a nice "RMS" game this is - good job! :) Too bad there is no music and only very few SFX :P
Anyway, windows build works just fine! :D
