A little too complex for the context of a jam. In this sort of game I think excellent visual communication is vital. Cool idea though :)

tasteslikefuture 2014-12-08 17:11

Seems somewhat akin to risk or axis v allies. A bit tricky to figure out, but definitely has potential. Great work!

hexagore 2014-12-08 17:12

Like the style of this... also the ambition!

rozaxe 2014-12-08 17:21

Idea seems nice but there is a lack of instruction.
PS : I really like the game's color

cutandreil 2014-12-08 17:23

It's really my kind of game.
But it's hard to get anything done in 15 turns.
With an activa AI and more turn, it can be great!

cake_catastrophe 2014-12-08 17:29

There's an impressive amount of stuff in this game, but unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to use most of it. I played a couple of time, and was able to set up some trade routes and improve my relations with other kingdoms, but I couldn't really tell what effects any of it had, although I did get a better score at the end.

Impressive scope for a jam game, but it really needs more feedback so that the player can see the results of their actions.

aggrathon 2014-12-08 19:46

Really nice concept! But the game needs to give more feedback on what is happening.

alsweigart 2014-12-08 20:26

Really complex gameplay. It'd be nice if there was a way to convey how to play instead of a wall of text. Also, I really couldn't figure out which color was my kingdom.

jstzwd 2014-12-09 00:59

Great theme! I like it!

krunoslav 2014-12-09 01:41

Great game. It is hard to undersand in the begining. But has a lot of potenctial. Easy controls.

However I think the mechanics are a bit too complex for a jam.Remind me of Europa Universalis :)

just-tom 2014-12-09 05:01

Cool idea, crazy ambitious for a Dare! Maybe a little too much telling over showing, but I think the idea is cool and would love to see it go further

geckoo1337 2014-12-09 06:18

Interesting game which seems to me too complex. Cool graphics. Thank you for this contribution ++

tanner101010 2014-12-09 07:33

Trade negotiations. I think I have seen this somewhere...

calavera 2014-12-09 07:49

I like the ambition but its just too much for such a small experience!

havi 2014-12-09 09:08

Nice game and concept, but its quite hard to figure out what to do. The game has potential ;)

caporaltito 2014-12-09 09:34

Nice game, it reminds me of the Total War series!

jfreax 2014-12-09 10:52

Looks promising, but its too complex and to be honest I am not really sure how to play it.

I think with more time, it could be a fun game.

murchurl 2014-12-09 12:49

Kinda got lost with what i was meant to do :/ and the help menu didn't seem to show up

marcellus 2014-12-09 15:44

I liked the idea and the ambition behind it, too bad you didn't have time to add more feedback. Great overall job anyway

timm638 2014-12-09 18:05

Remembering me on Europa Unviersalis 3

skipi 2014-12-09 19:56

I really would like to see what this game could become if you had more time to work on it. I like the idea, and how ambitious it was.

mrexcessive 2014-12-10 16:12

Hi there. UI was a bit spreadsheety... if that's a thing. It looked to be of impressive scale. Shame no sounds.

chaoseed 2014-12-22 01:57

Interesting stuff! This is definitely the kind of game I like. I'm sure you realize what parts of it need work...features and such. But personally, I'm thinking what I'd really like is some sort of purpose to the whole thing. Are you just supposed to get a high score (i.e. money)? Is it the standard quest to Rule the World? I'm just kinda wondering...Incidentally, it might also help to get someone to edit your text.

larzan 2014-12-22 10:43

Well done, although i have to admit that without the tutorial of the post-compo version it would have been pretty hard. but it would be better to use images instead of the abbreviations for the resources.
But a great game, i like the visual style of the map and i had fun playing it (i am a sucker for this kind of game)
Good entry, you should polish it a bit more, smooth out the edges and put it out there :)

lokiman 2014-12-28 12:45

I always love games which have something to do with the historical Europe :D Btw I played the compo version and had some fun with it too :)

maxmetallica 2014-12-29 19:21

nice concept

mohammad 2014-12-30 01:23

Very complicated but very well built. Nicr concept and the game was engaging
