I found a mouse and was able to play. If you don't know what all the components do it is really hard to figure it out. Some kind of visual feedback would be helpful. But once you get the hang of it, this game rocks!
tldr; There is way too much text :-) The controls feel a bit "direct", maybe look into using acceleration and forces. Nice graphics.

A very clever combination of game mechanics. It would have helped to have a tutorial but once you understand the idea it is easy to play and great fun. The graphics are cute, text and numbers could have been more bold.
The graphics are stunning, the music is on point. I would probably have chosen less nerdy words but ones with more relation to the art style and depicted period of the game.
An excellent and fairly complex game. Controls are a bit difficult, especially with a touchpad. I ate so many berries ;-)
You have to do some finger acrobatics on a non-american keyboard. Other than that, great game! Nice graphics. I loved the jump mechanics.

Super fun game! I was a bit confused by how to change spells but once you get the hang of it blasting vermin is epic fun. Once you max out all spells it seems you are stuck with endlessly respawning enemies.
You have to play it a couple of times until you know what you are supposed to do in each stage. The overall design and the mood set by the music are excellent.

A beautiful and eerie game. I love it! Scrolling felt a bit clunky but otherwise the gameplay was excellent.
It took me a while to figure out how to dig an which blocks are actually destructable. After that it was pretty straightforward. Good game.
What? This is ridiculously funny. Nice twist on the theme with the sounds getting deeper. Unfortunately I got stuck in a wall by the mouth lasers backlash and then mauled to death by goblins.

Nice puzzle mechanics. Simple but addictive.
Neat little game, very enjoyable. Could even be working with touch controls on a mobile device. I kind of expected the enemies to dim the light before fully extinguishing it and pickups to regain or increase brightness.
Nice take on the sniper game genre. The zoom mechanics work quite well. To keep people engaged longer you might want to add some more things going on in and around the house.

A well made game, good humor, very enjoyable. Some items pop up and you are unable to interact with them, like fire trucks and cuddly chickens. But I made it out in the end :-)

Nicely done! The controls might feel a bit more natural if you add acceleration. Some text was overlapping. I collected all the wood and got a sword and I think my shadow took it from there :-)
Nice game. It was actually pretty hard to play, but maybe I suck at brawl games. Some enemies spawning right in front of you was pretty scary. Maybe just make them run towards you.
The central planet kept exploding in every universe and configuration - maybe I'm just not meant to be a god :-)

Cool idea. I think I got dashing for free :-) I was unsure about some items and what they do, for example the torches. I figured it out when they were deployed though.

A wolf killed me and carried my dead body away! Good job on the ai and details. The controls need some polishing. Acceleration helps a lot with movement that feels more natural.
Very cool game, I enjoyed playing it. I love the art style and the music. Click actions need some visual feedback so you know what you have selected and what will happen. Also some info about what each unit does, like how much damage, would be very helpful.

Great Tron-style artwork, very smooth controls. The aiming bugs made it kind of hard to play but it was quite fun none the less.

Good work, neat idea! I ran out of light markers on my first try and it seems you can't recover them by touching. The level design seems a bit flat.
Uh, nice work. I like the graphics and the sound is not all bad. Without any instructions it is really hard to figure out what to do. Click on Space debris to collect it (only the debris works, not the shooting stars or the unicorns). Build the alchemy thing to convert debris to resources. I did not get much further because stuff kept crashing into my space station. But there is a nice visual ending.
Congratulations on bringing an awesome game to Ludum Dare! Some minor flaws I encountered: The controls glitched out sometimes (it helped to drop the battery). The battery needs to snap to those target devices or you need to inform the player they are in the right position. It kind of worked for the TV because it turned on. Maybe make the lizard somersault and the fish blub heart shaped bubbles? The mirrored numbers on the battery are confusing. You need to separate those objects or flip only the battery image. Keep up the great work!
Cool game! Nice take on asteroids with a bit of resource management. It felt somewhat stiff at first because moving was hard. But once I figured out the drone thing it worked. Not sure about the screensaver background because it suggests a completely different direction of movement.
Nice work! Moving around and handling the batteries could be a smoothed out a bit but otherwise a very solid idea and good gameplay.
Fantastic art style and I love the idea of ai generated music. It fits perfectly. The controls seem kind of glitchy where you need to move to stay on platforms. It can be quite frustrating when you die and all your progress has been reset.
Cool game, I like the retro art style. The orbs need to be lettered with their respective key codes, at least in normal mode. This game is a little more difficult to play with a non-american keyboard (z and y are flipped).
Great idea with the audio navigation. I solved the first few levels with my eyes closed but the maze was too hard for me :-)
Awesome game. The lighting really adds to the mood. Fun to play. It lacks some character development. There seems to be an untold story behind the mysterious guardian of the last light.

A beautiful piece of art, excellent graphics and athmosphere. I tried to write a little story inside that magical book as well. But it seems it has to be twitter sized. Flipping back always returns you to the first page which is kind of confusing.
This might be the best ld38 game I've played so far. Nice retro GameBoy graphics and matching soundtrack, the gameplay is easy to learn and challenging to the end. Magical.

Wow, this game is awesome! Brings back memories of back then :-) The manual itself is a work of art. Left alt to switch the terminal window was kind of annoying because I need that key for the square brackets with a German Mac keyboard. But somehow that added to the realism. It would be nice to be able to go back to a level you solved before to copy some code. But yes, learning by repetition. I can now add knowledge of up-8 assembly to my resume. Thanks guys!
Nicely done. At first I was not quite sure about the direction I was facing but shooting helped :-) The movement feels kind of like gliding and collisions with your environment don't give much feedback like bumping back. I feel like the coins should not absorb your shots. And most importantly some character development like upgrades is missing.
I escaped Planet X! Excellent game. Luckily you keep all the parts of your rocket when you get smashed to bits.

Very nice graphics and a fitting though slightly repetitive background music. I was a bit lost at first because most game mechanics were unclear. I figured I can build different types of units depending on the kind of tile I am on. But what specific advantages/disadvantages do they have? Also sometimes I didn't know where to click. And I got no immediate feedback for incorrect moves just like "too many moves". Apart from that I was pleasantly surprised at the complexity and overall detail of this game.
The bottle idea is brilliant. I had some difficulties with the jumping puzzle because the character controls are difficult to master.

I did not rate the game. Unfortunately I could not do anything besides running and jumping. But all the worlds were empty and nothing happened. The tab key opened two empty boxes. Probably a bug in the OSX port.

The theme is spot on, I love the concept and the graphics turned out nicely. The huge paw print cursor makes navigating a bit more difficult than it should be. A mobile version with touch controls would be a nice addition. Great game, Good work!

Oh, I get it: the guy lives in his own world when you play for the first time. But he is actually a psychopath. The game got stuck in the second part. But I like the idea of different perceptions of the same reality.

Awesome graphics and a spooky story. I had some difficulties navigating the phone, mapping the navigation to wasd or cursor keys might have helped. I wish there was more to explore in the village itself. I'll be looking for an extended version ;-) Keep up the good work.

Great game, love the gameboy aesthetics. I kept tripping over a snake's tail until finally I reached the laser factory, where I died of a heart attack. I was wondering why the code book never changed and I only ever learned to morse SODU. I tried ... . -.-. .-. . - but nothing happened.

Excellent game! Not another space shooter, I thought, and was pleasantly surprised. Love the gritty athmosphere of the CRT graphics, controls are smooth, music is spot on. Maybe add some element to convey the urgency of the rescue and force the player to move more quickly.
