I noticed, that I uploaded files badly, they work, but they are uncompressed, so it takes longer to download them, as Google Drive compresses every uncompressed file in cloud, and it takes a lot of time. Here is link with compressed project, and game. They are the same as links in main post, except they are compressed :)

Also, if you decide to download from links in main post make sure to click "Download All" button (top right corner), so you download all necessary files :)
I came here to try your game, but I'm on a Mac :( If I am on a windows machine in the next couple days, I'll make sure to give it a shot!

Hi, i made WebGL port. I think it should'nt be "officialy" rated, as it was built after the submission hour. To be honest I don't really care about "official" rating, but I would love to see your feedback as a comment.
You should play the game in windowed mode, because it is very laggy in fullscreen (at least for me).
It is the same as Windows version, except sometimes it breaks the controls, or lags for a second, this doesn't happen in Windows version.

You can always add the webgl version, it's not agains't the rules. Just edit you submission, and add the link to it.

Pretty cool game! I enjoyed the lack of vision, maybe a way to improve it is to have indicators as to the direction the enemy wave is coming from. I have to ask though, is the light shining behind me done on purpose? (in order to show incoming enemies?) If it is, it's a pretty nice touch! :)

Yep, light behind character was done on purpose, but it doesn't really help :P

Challenging game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation [video series](https://youtu.be/CCYaVM8tRMM), if you’d like to take a look :)

Nicely done. At first I was not quite sure about the direction I was facing but shooting helped :-) The movement feels kind of like gliding and collisions with your environment don't give much feedback like bumping back. I feel like the coins should not absorb your shots. And most importantly some character development like upgrades is missing.

There are upgrades. You can upgrade weapons by clicking upgrate button in top left corner. You when you unlock new weapon you can equip it by clicking 1,2,3 - depends on the weapon. I should have set coins on diffrent layer than bullets, and turn off collision, but I forgot xD It's too late now. I know that this game is pretty bad, but I'm proud of myself, because I finished my first Ludum Dare :)

Great job man, the first jam is always a challenge, more if you are alone. I liked the idea of defending something instead of yourself, and I probably hit all the motorbikes xD If you want to check out my game: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/dr-zorongo

That was fun! I liked upgrades, when I could see them. Display in general seemed buggy and had problems on my giant resolution (2560x1600). A sound when I (or the base) took damage would be nice, I didn't have much of a feel for how I was doing, until I lost ^_^.
Wow, really nice work for first game jam
Thanks for the game,, it's a lot of fun! I gave it a few goes and plan on doing a few more later.

Nice gameplay :) i really liked it :)
Some things i noticed, when i started up the game initially i had the problem that i only saw a blank screen with the skip button should there have been something else?
One other thing that confused me at first was the fact that i had a backlight which wasn't really logical given the character (even if it made sense in terms of gameplay :))
What i really liked about your game was that i had to always keep an eye open as to where the monsters are which kept the tension high throughout the game, great job :)
Good top down shooter as your first entry in LD. I think to have some fast cycled music could help here.

Nice shooter, graphic of your game it is little bit like Duskers, which is good. Nice work and keep jamming.
Great job, especially for a compo! You probably saw from my game that I'm a fan of the whole defending concept, so I really liked your version of that! And for it being your first jam, it's really great that you made something this good, let alone playable :P Well done! :D

Thanks for your feedback and that "magic" 20 ratings!
Nice top down shooter as your first entry in LD - really impressive for a first attempt. I assume that you could improve your project with more time, but it is good enough. I had fun playing it ++
That was a bit tough. It controlled a little funky for me but I was playing the web version so that my have been why. But I like the different types of aliens, I feel verity in enemy makes the game! I know you most likely did not have time but MORE weapons in a game like this are always a plus! Good Job!
