LD31 — Entire Game on One Screen

Thief of Insulo by Cake&Code 2014-12-12T16:32:00

Woo! I'm filthy rich! I'd suggest putting an animation on the step counter when it ticks away or have it change colors as you get close. I wasn't aware it was important at first (and likewise wasn't sure what the puddles were doing). Really solid game design. If you decide to work on it some more, I'd also suggest giving more pieces to work with than necessary so there can be an additional challenge of trying to find the optimal solution. Thanks for sharing the game.

Lazy Hero by mybluecorners 2014-12-09T04:14:00

Great job! I really liked the theme of a lazy hero and the grappling hook/sword combo were fun.

Planet Crasher by ThunderAwesome 2014-12-10T09:37:00

I like the art style and your variations of its theme. Right clicking in the web player caused some issues for me, but the game seemed pretty playable withing the swinging. Thanks for the sharing the game, I had fun!

Entire Screen of One Game by Tom 7 2014-12-09T17:14:00

You have succeeded in blowing my mind. I have no words. Congrats, sir.

Mini Minotaur by ljdp 2014-12-09T03:39:00

Very enjoyable. The sound a lighting really play strongly into the gameply. Started playing without reading the directions and enjoyed just walking through the labyrinth wih only the lighting to clue me in.

King of the Castle by adamwfindlay 2014-12-09T06:10:00

Very enjoyable and a fun concept. My only suggestion would be to give an indicator of if a goblin is about to shoot or can't shoot at the moment. Thanks!

Astrador by sirikan 2014-12-09T07:05:00

I had fun with it, seems like a good jumping off point. Though getting a frosty snowman probably helped. It does say PlayER again win you win, but maybe that's some meta concept I didn't pick up on :)

Valhalla by snickersnacks 2014-12-29T15:43:00

Great atmosphere. I felt like the mechanics served the narrative well too as I began to feel like a apathetic dive bar owner going through the motions. The only problem I have with this game is that its 8am and I feel like I need a drink now.

The Farmer II by drZool 2014-12-22T14:15:00

Great animations! Nice work.

Path of Thorns by CosyCave 2014-12-09T17:53:00

The color choices are fantastic. I was paranoid that the retry option would take me all the way to the beginning at first and so I spent a long time thinking about each puzzle before I messed up the first time. Great game, thanks for sharing!

Fight, Because. by Tortoise 2014-12-11T10:40:00

Everything ties together very neatly. Great game, I had a lot of fun playing it.

Helga Kills Everything by mutatedsoftware 2014-12-13T04:23:00

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. They've all been right on the money. I'm also happy to report that after reading how the bear startled people, my daughter has added 'programmer' to the list of things she wants to be when she grows up :)

Treasure Dungeon by yurodivuie 2014-12-09T05:45:00

A solid concept. I think you nailed the theme as well.

Breaking glass by charlesque 2014-12-09T06:18:00

Really well done in every aspect. I got a strong 90s arcade vibe from it... and I liked it!

The Story of Cheap Ranger by DavidVisscher 2014-12-09T04:39:00

I could see myself playing this for quite some time. The sounds, graphics, and mechanics really mesh together nicely.

Frank's New Job by SinistraGames 2014-12-09T05:59:00

The only problem is it leaves me wanting more. Nice work :)

Daedal by Rouquemoute 2014-12-13T11:58:00

Great submission! I agree that rotating the maze or camera with the player would help. If you could be racing against an expanding sun that might be fun too (but I could see why that'd be logistically difficult).

Thanks for sharing your game.

Fastest RPG Ever by stigmawall 2014-12-09T04:28:00

I like the transition style and minimalist design. Nice work!

Orion by feiss 2014-12-09T18:11:00

That was a lot of fun! Thank you.

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

N.O.D.E. by SimonLarsen 2015-04-21T14:28:00

Really nice entry! Everything lent itself well to making me feel like a badass.

Dwarf Launcher by loadsofmana 2015-04-21T03:27:00

Progresses a bit slow for my tastes, but I love the concept. It was a lot of fun nonchalantly launching people from a cannon. Thanks for the sharing the game!

Home Defence by ZQMony 2015-05-03T20:07:00

460. Nice entry. Brought me back to a more innocent time in video games :)

Character Assassination by jesterswilde 2015-04-21T03:46:00

I love it! The presentation is perfect! Only wish there was more to play ;)

Mutated Software and Company by mutatedsoftware 2015-04-21T03:14:00

The game doesn't do a great job of instructing you that hitting the beer button will stop the buttons from shaking. But, yeah. That's how you get those buttons to stop shaking :) Thanks for playing!

Mutated Software and Company by mutatedsoftware 2015-05-10T20:38:00

@jk5000 thanks! You get me :)

Floppy Man by Selzier 2015-04-21T02:53:00

It is strange how intrinsically fun it is to flop a rag doll around. I enjoyed the game quite a bit. Kinda wished the level would restart at where the plane drops you though :)

Project Pigeon by LimeniusTeam 2015-04-22T23:01:00

I felt very proud of my pigeons... and then very sad for them :) Great concept and execution. Oh, I also liked how the camera pitched down like a pigeon would when walking, nice touch.

A Nunexpected Weapon by leo_p_mahon 2015-04-22T20:05:00

Was a lot of fun, thanks for sharing! Only got to 310, but enjoyed my journey getting there. Took a bit to get used to jumping, but I don't expect myself to be awesome at a game right away :)

Good's Out by SweatshopDev 2015-04-21T20:38:00

Got stuck a few times, but had a blast doing it. Thought the yellow crates went to the yellow driver at first - but it didn't take long to figure out that wasn't the case. Lots of potential here, thanks for sharing!

LD38 — A Small World

Mediator by randomhuman 2017-05-09T18:10:31Z

Thanks for sharing. The walk cycle was great and I enjoyed the writing :D

Corgo-a-gogo by nickavv 2017-05-02T20:26:34Z

Thanks for the game! Congrats on the entry. Had some technical issues with FPS and a crash at one point, but really liked the direction the project was taking.

Thanks again :D

A Small War by hadesfury 2017-05-10T18:59:19Z

The keyboard commands were very helpful. Cool concept, I made sure to tell everyone around me about it :D

Thanks for the game!

Rocket Roller Space Polo by pkenney 2017-05-10T19:28:26Z

That was a lot of fun! Thanks a bunch.

Chill Bill by drtizzle 2017-05-10T18:50:49Z

Loved the artwork!

Petit Adventure by Sun-Wukong 2017-05-10T20:09:43Z

Those mushrooms look amazing! Can't believe how much quality artwork you were able to squeeze in there. Thanks for sharing :D

Flat Earths! by ponywolf 2017-05-11T21:58:24Z

Thanks for the comments everyone! We had a lot of fun putting this silly thing together and your feedback is very much appreciated :D

Ark of the new world by jojocanard 2017-05-10T19:10:22Z

Thanks for sharing your game. Probably the most original game I've played so far and I had a great time playing it as well :D

The Last Acorns by RAC-Games 2017-05-10T18:29:20Z

Loved the mood and humor aspects especially. The transition from bottom of tree to top was very cool and trippy. I had fun doing a couple of loops and everything ran quite well on my under-powered laptop.

Thanks for sharing your game :D

Internet Shooter - protect magical device! by Behenate 2017-05-10T18:44:45Z

Thanks for the game,, it's a lot of fun! I gave it a few goes and plan on doing a few more later.

Stardust - A space adventure by shiitman 2017-05-10T19:16:57Z

Definitely got some giggles out of me :D Thanks!

CHaZeS VR by thegdr 2017-05-03T14:31:56Z

Really great idea! I think it had a benefit with motion sickness prevention. It's cool to see people testing these things out. Thanks for the game :D

Gravity Trails by electr1ca 2017-05-10T19:34:53Z

@ponywolf sent me here. And I'm glad he did! Thanks for the sharing your very fun game :D

LD40 — The more you have, the worse it is

The Curse of Mangara by PavelDlouhy 2017-12-19T21:41:31Z

Ended up getting stuck in a wall after I learned I could travel diagonally :). As others have mentioned, the music and music cues were great. Also enjoyed how the enemies moved faster the more coins you grabbed. Great submission, thanks for sharing!

Wrecking Ball Princess by radmars 2017-12-06T15:39:18Z

Katamari + bullet hell is a fun concept. Liked how the object had a pull of its own. Cool stuff!

America 2018 by Antti Tiihonen 2017-12-13T02:21:05Z

Great style! It's super impressive that you got this done in a weekend.

Money transporter by lexi 2017-12-21T17:40:21Z

That was a lot of fun. Felt like Pac-Man (in a really good way) to me. Was initially worried that the game objects were too small, but in practice I liked it. Thanks for the good tiem :D

A Hero's Burden by muffty 2017-12-23T04:26:31Z

Wow. Can't believe you did this in a weekend :D I know it was a small part of the game, but the rotating text choices was a cool touch. Thanks for sharing!

Dashing Delivery by Mars 2017-12-19T21:34:43Z

My laptop had some troubles with framerate, but it didn't stop the game from being fun. Especially enjoyed the voice over work :). Thanks for the game!

Fiscal Dungeon by Tom Panton 2017-12-19T21:57:11Z

Extremely happy I decided to give this a try. I'm impressed with how many enemy types/behaviours you were able to squeeze in. Visually, I think it gets the job done and gameplay wise, I found it to be a contender with twin stick shooters I've payed money for :)

LD45 — Start with nothing

Cutey Berry by sylvie 2019-10-16T23:16:10Z

Took me AWHILE to get the cat into the basketball hoop. I enjoyed the puzzles though. Awesome jam results!

The Slime Slayer by Evepto 2019-10-14T19:53:23Z

Nice work! Definitely got a Super Crate Box vibe :)

LD46 — Keep it alive

BANG by conk 2020-04-21T18:34:52Z

Really smart entry. Felt like an attention span vs morality challenge... which I failed. Cool idea.

Keep the Keep by firellon 2020-04-25T01:19:56Z

I had a lot of fun Keeping my Keep. Really great level design with the puzzles :)

Abiogenesis by radmars 2020-04-21T18:36:01Z

I got really into the music and the plant growth on the beats. Nice work!

Battery Panic by HacksawUnit 2020-04-21T19:29:03Z

Great concept! Had a lot of fun with it :D

For Ducks' Sake by GaryS 2020-04-22T08:00:34Z

A video game giggle has never been done better than this. Great concept. The late game really reminded me of protecting that last city in Missile Command and feeling bad about letting everything else fall. Loved that game, thanks!

Mount Ookie by Brusi 2020-04-28T18:30:21Z

From the tutorial prompts to the how everything interacted with each other, this game is solid. Had a fantastic time with it!

Doctor Lit by Animaster 2020-04-28T18:37:44Z

I really dig the run cycle. Seems like you got really far into the core of a JRPG in just 72 hours! Super impressive :D

Ice Light by ThornDuck 2020-04-22T19:25:22Z

Really enjoyed my time with Ice Light. I think you nailed the ambiance and mood. I struggled a little with the throwing and finding my mouse before the aim (since how far you move it after clicking seemed to be part of the mechanic), but got used to it pretty quickly. Great work!

S for Squad by Asue 2020-04-29T18:16:22Z

I'm impressed out how much you got done! Enjoyed the hostage animation and how they followed you :) Most of my criticisms have been covered above, so I'll just say that S for Squad was great and I had a lot of fun playing it! Thanks for sharing :D

Spacewhale Multiverse (Only You Can Save The) by SpreadsheetLover 2020-04-21T19:59:03Z

What fantastic art! Just beautiful. Once I figured out I could play it long pong meets bullet hell I had a lot of fun with it :D

Planty by kitjenson 2020-04-22T08:05:33Z

Oh wow, everyone did much better than me. Perhaps I'm too old for Planty ;) I think you did a great job communicating the obstacles and escalating them. Also the color choices were great. Thanks for the game, I had fun :D

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

Wasted Warlocks by conk 2018-05-14T16:56:14Z

Made sure to follow you on itch so I can maybe play to post jam version someday :) I really dig the direction it's going.

Boxing Surgery Simulator 2000 by ponywolf 2018-04-30T16:04:27Z

Thanks for the plays and comments everyone! There is so much good cheer and good advice in the Ludum Dare community. We're overjoyed just to be part of it :D

Super Balls Defense Base Craft by radmars 2018-04-24T06:12:42Z

What a great idea and well executed. Lost track of time there for awhile, was in the pinball zone :)

Roulette Knight by Finlal 2018-04-29T01:52:22Z

Super cool. The animations in particular were lovely. Had a great time with the game!

Dice Poker Chicken Battle by digitaldude555 2018-05-14T16:41:55Z

Witch's Escape by cristiano.m.garcia 2018-05-14T16:32:50Z

Just gotta say, that's some great pixel wizardry!
