Gameplay is pretty good and interesting, graphics are good, liked the monster design. The audio ruins the mood to be honest, the one thing wrong with the game is the sound effects.
Good graphics and fun. Doesn't tie into the theme of the game jam though.
Pretty simple but fun. Music really fits the mood, like the drawings. Only thing was it was not very innovative only thing I score you low on.
I think people are just impatient, most games in the jam are very fast paced.
Yes it's a bit slow but I have played games in similar genre(warfare 1944) and they were only slightly faster. The game play actually involved strategy to win and when you introduced the new units the level was modeled after them. like when you introduced fast units there was almost no cover on the level, when you introduced clocks there were many enemies in cover. I hated those enemy pots man.....too strong! Game play was among the best so far out of the games I played. Graphics pretty unique. Audio was bad but glad there is a mute button. Over all excellent game.
Very unique take on the theme, I truly felt like I am the monster there. Despite the messed up nature of it, game was fun to play if you just look at the mechanics of it.
I can only build tanks, but can't reconquer...oh well.

I cant seem to kill the enemies and my screen gets cluttered with null reference exception. I feel if you made the enemies just get destroyed and just add an end message after the are all killed the game would feel complete(not sure if you had the time). Also got a glitch where I had 4 guys firing at the same time, was pretty crazy. Good effort.
I just watched the villagers grow out the town, pretty impressive.
I enjoyed almost everything about this game, Especially the mood and audio. Graphics only thing I disliked.
Humor is a 5 just for the last line.
Fun to play, not to difficult but still offers a challenge. I'd say this is my favorite entry of the ones I reviewed. Only problem is no music.
The game is pretty fun, probably most fun I played so far. It gets repetitive and I am not sure if the difficulty increases, I basically got bored after a while and made my self lose. Animations were the best part.
Pretty good gameplay wise a bit hard with the one hit and your dead. enjoyed the little tune that plays, graphics were a bit plain and jumping was like floating up. Pretty good game and especially for a first completed game.
I just left this on to listen to the music.
Amazing effects and visuals, by far the best of any jam entry I'd say. love the music that plays during the game. Game play was a bit basic but still fun to play.
I like the look of it. Music is good. Music and aesthetic all tie in well so the mood I also rate highly. Gameplay was not fun, very basic and as far as I know you can't beat this game.

TackoramaLtd yeah if you hit them twice it kills the cube enemies, but I made the collider too small so you must get super close.

RobotSoulsGames Honestly got no clue how you could die by invisible enemy, yes it's not very close to theme. Originally it was supposed to be a slasher type game where you kill all enemies in the level and move to the next one, I was scripting some enemies where they simply ran away from you but didn't work the way I wanted and had to cut them out thus was left with these cube enemies. the tile of this game describes my experience working on it. One thing I learned is to prepare for a game jam, I only found out about Ludum Dare33 some twenty four hours after it started.
n8b the goal of the game is just to kill all the enemies you find. It's my fault for not saying what to do inside the game sorry.
Overall thanks for the feedback from everyone and I really hope I can make a better game next time.
Played the web version. It was tough to figure out what to do and when you did there was no real gameplay. Graphics were decent but I think the scaling of the objects was a bit odd. Audio was good loop was a bit short, mood was very good.

Was fun to play and liked the look of the city and dinosaur. Audio was the weak link for me, didn't like the sound effects.

That was a depressing game, although I think it was over done a bit. Over all I thought it was a good game should place highly.
Artwork and mood are really top notch. I love the song but it doesnt fit well into the game. Game itself is a bit slow, especially during the falling objects stage and sometimes you have to wait a while for the item you need to show up.
I like it a lot, probably the most complete game I played this jam. And I agree with the first guy rabbits should come out a lot fast.
I like the background and the art in general. Audio is good too. Gameplay wise it's not challenging you can basically beat your opponent into a corner and spam combos to win.

Great use of controls, followed both themes and pretty good gameplay, but I seem to have ran out of seeds and can't acquire more, not sure if that's my fault or something else.

It's pretty difficult as others have said but quite fun to play. Maybe the grappling hook should have shot at the place your mouse was pointing.
Very innovative game, I am glad to see something different in this jam, pretty good use of theme two button control and the music grows in sound as you get near. Not much in terms of graphics though but that's fine for this game.
Amazing game, some of the best art and animation I seen so far on the jam, I really liked the gameplay too. And like tedling said it's a pretty steep rise in difficulty, having a single mistake kill you in levels that big makes it too hard for me sadly.

Art wise this game is near the top for me. I enjoyed playing the game but it was really hard for me, maybe I suck at this game but couldn't get very far, it seemed I lost a life every time I killed one of the enemies and a certain attack was hard to dodge.. Pretty good game over all.
Simple game play but it's very good, plus I think you got the difficulty just right. Love the sound of it. It's not very humorous though.
I liked the art it was pretty unique, I think changing the trajectory in mid air made the game way to easy. My suggestion would be to limit the amount of times someone can change the trajectory so it becomes more challenging.
It seems like everyone wants automagnet. If I develop this game any further I will make it automatic, but it's too late for the jam.

Amazing art and audio, but I struggled to figure out what to do half the time and enemies seem to kill you very fast plus the slow movement speed made me resort to jumping all the time, not sure how this follows the theme. Moods was the strongest point here.
I like the audio most of all, grahpics are simple and clean. It just seems too easy and like xgor said you just spam towers. Interesting use of the theme though.
I liked the audio especially the background noises added to the mood, liked that the credits were scattered around the city. Gameplay was a bit too simple for me.
Love the art but I am having same problems as everyone else game is unplayable sadly.
Great take on the theme, probably the simplest game I played so far but pretty entertaining. I love the design of the venus fly trap. It doesn't seem to have any sound though.
That was strange in a good way, the sponge bob bits come out of nowhere, although I am not sure if it's against the rules to include them in there. And I didn't see the connection with the theme.
Pretty funny, gameplay was simple, game was pretty easy to beat though maybe it's for the best since I saw the whole story that way.
One of the best jam games I played so far, great graphics, music and love the smoke effect from the bikes, plus the abilities of the different animals. One thing though I can't imagine getting all 19 power ups to beat this game.

Very unique looking game, probably one of the most unique I played so far, I liked the background song, gameplay wise it's very simple just wanted to make it to the end. I am pretty sure I read this exact same quote in a game called Persona 2 innocent sin.
This was a pretty refreshing and unique entry. Very funny voice acting and game in general, the art style fit the game I think. And I got all 5 endings.
Good arcade game. good concept on getting the abilities of the enemies you shot. It would be better I think if it was a little more fast paced, also you can't turn your character easily, but maybe that was by design. And I really liked the animation of the blob.
Very interesting game, and interesting choice of music, and I like the look of the animals, the opponent is quite easy to beat though.
Decent game, nice use of the theme here. Tried hard but couldn't get out of the maze, there was a hole I found but after dropping into it, it just restarted the level.

This game is my number one of ludum dare so far, everything is great the sound, the graphics and the gameplay is very good and innovative. Could use a continue so you don't have to restart from the whole game again if you fail.

Great art and animation, good game play although it's a bit hard, the snakes can block up any chance of progressing further and can't get past them no matter what. Game fits the theme well.
Now that was a long level, pretty good game, I liked the bullet effects and at the end I just dodged all the other shapes to finish levels, not much to say, good effort there.

I played many many games that were essentially the exact same, game play wise.
The difference in yours in audio and music feel great. Graphics are much better, it feels much more polished and complete and has tweaks to the gameplay the others dont have. Really enjoyable game here. Only thing I score low on is innovation, since I played 56 games and I encountered 4 games that were of this type of exact same game mechanics.

Pretty interesting game, good sound effects and graphics. The ai though sometimes is stupid sometimes is smart, it's very random. Good game over all.
Rating highly on mood and audio, I think a have vague idea of what the story is about but not sure. Pretty interesting.
The funniest game I played so far, and also challenging but not too much so you don't get frustrated. My only complaint is the countdown shouldn't start until they make the scroll available.
Nice art, the answers to the questions changed depending on who you asked first and what you responded with, pretty cool. I think that the Mary 2 is the imposter.
Played the jam submission(not post), Good game, I found it difficult but fair, like the design of the creatures. Got boring fairly quickly though, maybe have low number of enemies at the start so people can get the hang of it first and then gradually increase it, seems it gets very hectic from the first second.
Good pong clone I like the music and minimalist art work is true to pong. My problems with it are, first sometimes the pong paddles just disappear and I can't make them come back, and there is no ai, so I ended up playing with myself. Good effort.

Cool 2 player game, simple and fun to play, found out about the curved tongue through the comments definitely adds a lot to the game. Obvious critique is that there is no restart button, meaning you have to refresh the page every match.
It's a decent game, I liked the cube effects of the missiles, fit the theme with the aliens, it was not very fun to play though.
Very short game, I think the mechanics were too basic to make more levels, it would get repetitive and unexciting quickly, maybe add different shapes or multiple balls. Over all pretty good. I liked the music too it suits the game.
Really great graphics and I like the song/sound effects, rating high humor for shape shifting egg plant. The problem I have is I don't understand the goal of the game or how to play, most of the time I am running aimlessly and then going to a door. It then says wrong door and I have to do the same thing again. I think their should be more instruction on how to play the game.

Yeah, art is fantastic, game is fun and offers some difficulty, it's pretty innovative in it's gameplay. It is pretty unforgiving sometimes though, sometimes you can misplace a single mana point and you have to start over, I found that when the mana bug appeared was when the game was impossible for me to pass it. Can you tell me how to get past the mana bug level?
The game was alright was definitely fun but didn't use theme that creatively and became a bit tedious over time. Over all its good.
It's simple but pretty complex too, enjoyed playing the game, I encountered the same bug as ironhead but on level 4...
My favorite part is the scrolling backgrounds and the ship designs. It would be better if the ship just auto fired since you hold down ctrl the whole time anyway and I agree with nick that the shapeshifting felt more like a power up. Also faster bullets for the player. over all pretty good game.

This feels like a very complete game, the artstyle and the sound effect when moving the rows and columns fits perfectly, difficulty scales well, I solved about 4 puzzles before it got too difficult for me.
I played a similar game on ludum dare not to long ago, nice graphics, controls a bit strange for qwerty keyboard though.

This game is ridiculous in it's difficulty, maybe ease the player into the game because you have to die dozens of times to memorize which shapes to turn into and when to jump to pass the level. but it's a good concept for a game, like the music.

I really like the drawings, good use of theme and great audio. Pretty simple gameplay but it's not too easy either. It's incredible short but maybe if you made it longer it would start to drag, dunno.
Simple and fun to play, the colors were not easy on the eye maybe should have been a different colour palette, I liked the voice over.
I will add to people saying it had weird controls plus the enemies saw you through the walls in which I assume was gonna be a stealth game, but I think with a bit more work it would be pretty great, concept of shapeshifting into different units and using their powers is good. I also liked the art and animations of the characters.
Pretty good game, enjoyed playing it, really love that background art with the brown cubes or whatever it is, the later levels are a lot more well built than the first two. It would have been good to start with levels showing the abilities of them each individually and then together in my opinion. Anyway good game you built.
Really great over all, Great art, music is amazing, gameplay is fun, difficult but not frustrating(maybe a little bit) and gradually introduces new mechanics to the game making it easier to learn to play and master the game.
You at least submitted, I think it might have been better to skip the compo and do the jam. My first ludum dare game was also unfinished and didn't really have much game play or goal.

The music was amazing, and loved the graphics. Got both endings and had a good message I think and fit the theme in interesting way. Only thing I have a problem with is there is almost no game play to it, just typing a word over and over either "no" or "work".
Great game and the art fits the game perfectly, at one point it seemed the game recognized every command I typed in except when I got to the sorting machine then it was like running into a brick wall. Can you guys tell me how to get past it? I can't really think of any complainants about the game, good job.
Great art, I love the trees especially, character design is cool. I like the music. The gameplay is pretty interesting way to attack but with the number of enemies the game is very hard and feels unfair sometimes, especially because ever hit cancels your attack. I think it's harder to use keyboard than controller. I also don't understand what coins do.
I would recommend each time you successfully press a button the rhythm gets faster, and also maybe make a the margin of error bigger at the beginning of the attack and make it less after you land more attacks.
Hey can you link me the song you used for the game, it's awesome. Gameplay is great, including a tutorial that explains the game so well is something I rarely see in ludum dare(the game is usually simple or explained in the description). I found it pretty hard though, I don't know which ruins turn your troops into which units and sometimes it's unfair when you attack with a tank and get your butt kicked, but it's still fun to play and I think you can expand the game and make it even better. I guess the weak point would be the art, beyond the great image of the sanddune I think it's a bit copy paste all over the place.
It's very interesting, a lot of points for style with the shader and the old school console, the artifacts though all seem to look the same not sure if it's a problem with me(I use firefox) or that is just the game. Music is pretty nice and sound effects match with the game.
My only criticisms are about the gameplay. I, like scriptorum was also never able to find artifacts logged by other players. After a while it got boring and all I did was ride around and spam the space bar. Also I am pretty sure you move a lot faster diagonally, might want to check that.
I like the music a lot, I like the sound when you fire. Art is alright, maybe the alien ships could have had different color than the Indian ship. The UI of the menus is what I like the most surprisingly.
Good arcade gameplay and it was fun to play. My biggest complaint is the web version is cut off and you can't see the numbers too well. Gameplay wise there is no point in moving up and down, I would have liked the ship to just autofire and you do not get punished for letting ships escape. I would have given point for every ship destroyed and then taken 1 away for every escaped one.
Music is great and art is pretty. I like the stickman drawings too, I like the way you tell the story and the best part of the game is that great jumping animation. Gameplay wise, at first I expected it to be a puzzle game but it seems to be more of a how fast you can click the clone button sorta deal, it's tough to control sometimes especially when you encounter platforms. Controls are the most important part of platformers. Also do you manual save at the pink checkpoint or it's automatic because sometimes it takes me back to 2-3 checkpoints before my current checkpoint.
Oh no the haggle button is indeed broken after the first use, was a big part of the game...
@rynti upgrade capacity works but you can only upgrade it once, I made a mistake and in the game you can buy the upgrade infinity times but you only get the upgrade once.
@teamBallShui Well it says mercenary is 50 coins, the goal of the game was coin management but you can't really lose the game or win it...
@MrErdalUral You are right, this was first time I made a ui heavy game, yeah game doesnt have a goal sadly, I didn't have the energy left to keep going. Swindle seems like completely different game than mine, try to play frontier on kongregate instead.

This was very interesting... Going from doing a puzzle to playing flappy bird keeps the game form being boring. I could only complete click it path though, right way I had no clue what to do even with walkthrough. The ominious music was pretty cool and the....graffiti was cool. All I can say it's very strange game.
Yeah it does remind me of undertale, the art of the walls especially, I like the background tune playing. The puzzles are pretty interesting and it's satisfying when you get them right. over all it's a lot better than the game I made(also a puzzle) Btw I am stuck on si + too puzzle, what number do I type in?? I wanna finish the game.

I thought the graphics were just fine, maybe the character was a bit bland. Game play not much too it, I never got stuck on any objects, so collisions were better than in my game lol. Not much to it other than finding the cat. Now onto the biggest problem with the game. You don't actually need the flashlight to see the cat, you just scan the room and go to the cat, I feel you should have made the player rely on the flashlight more.
It's a good game. It's hard to aim and I could not choose another difficulty beside the hardest one, doesnt seem to have an ending, I understand if it's a sandbox type but when you die it should say how many robots you killed. I liked the chicken art on the difficulty menu(Graphics in general were good). You should have posted the chicken art as a screen shot for your game btw. Sound wise I didn't get tired of hearing the song which is good. Mood is your best category here. Humour is non existant. As for the theme category it does take place in one room which is better than most peoples games.
The character and health art and animation were the best part of the game, alien design was alright. Game play wasn't too good, the aliens kill you and the glass thing way too fast which made it not to fun to die every few seconds. You should reuse the character in another game its very good.
The character design is really good, background and animations are drawn well as well, not sure what happens to the table when I pick up the book though. Gameplay, I like the mini games and I like that when you fail at getting a certain item then the teacher will chastise you about it, that's good attention to detail. The obvious problem is I had to mash the spacebar most of the time cause the game wasn't responding to my inputs, made it a bit frustrating.
I really like the art but especially the animation of the machinary and the big screen. Song is and sound effects are good too. Gameplay it doesn't need a tutorial I figured it out quickly, not much to do though. My best score was 80 money.
Art looks amazing and the rat animation, I liked what you did with level selection and menus. Gameplay was interesting but I had some problems with colliders like matlahvi said and the cat noticed you too fast some times.
This game is much more complex than I imagine, very interesting to play and train your heroes, but it seems like it doesn't cost anything to train and I also noticed the drinks that cost 1000g didn't actually take my gold. WizzardMaker is right UI needs text to say what the options do especially the training ones. Interesting take on the theme too the hero pub is the hub area for the game. The sound effects are cool, the music sounds like elevator music(I don't mind though). The characters look cute but they don't really match the look of the UI or their surroundings. Over all pretty great, I had a lot of fun playing it.
One of the best uses of the theme I seen! graphics were alright, a bit generic. Wasn't much to the gameplay you could just spam sword attack to pass.
I played the version on the ludum dare site so not sure if it was updated or not, that's the one I rated. Graphics were very impressive the background I liked especially. Sound of the weapons was good. Gameplay, yeah was a bit hard but I still enjoyed playing it, it wasn't a frustrating game. Only thing I thought was needed was better range on the machine guns and faster rate of fire on the pistol(might have all been fixed already in post jam build havent played it yet).
Game over all is very good but doesn't equal the sum of it's parts. Audio is great and matches perfectly with the enviroment, really sets the mood. Artwork is fantastic! everything from the character to the enemies to the backgrounds, all great. Gameplay is good too, I like the enemy variety and how they feel like you need a new strategy to combat each enemy type. Now for the bad parts, chroteus is right some indication you are hurt would be great, like a screenshake. To make it easier you should add a period where you are invunreable after being hit, this would make the game more enjoyable I think.
I like the low poly art style, game has a lot of stuff to do and it's cool when you run out of energy you can get taken back for a refuel plus the flying back animation. tutorial was helpful to understand the game. I eventually got tired of playing though cause I always ran out of energy before bringing back the pandicorns(I got like 2 in total the whole game).
Graphics are great, music suits the mood perfectly, story seemed interesting but I died too many times(got too frustrating to continue playing) to really progress enough into it. I also really love that chain grab move you can do, but it seems most of the time you bring them closer so they can hit and kill you lol. The biggest problem with this game is no indication of your health, would have been good to have that.
Enjoyed playing this one and beat it twice to get the secret letter the sound effect for pushing the pipes was very satisfying, I can't really find any obvious faults with the game. Good job.
The sound and voice over it's amazing. I really like the art it's pretty unique and stands out. Gameplay I really like how the jetpack controls but it's very hard to escape the santas they kill you instantly when you touch and every time you die all the items reset so I can't complete the game. mood is very christmas like which is appropriate for this month, and it's pretty humorous. Theme wise I guess it takes place in one enclosed room but you didn't really do anything with the theme.
That was pretty cool was a bit frustrated that you had to press e like 20 times to interact with stuff but eventually I beat it! The interactions and descriptions of the furniture was funny. I also loved the little background tune you had, you can tell where you got it?
The sound effects are top notch, best I've heard so far. Art style is decent. Gameplay is pretty interesting with your different take on the double jump mechanic. It's very very hard though, I didn't beat it. It terms of the theme I have no idea how this fits the theme at all...
One of the more interesting takes on the theme I seen so far. I like the animations when they reveal all the spy stuff, gameplay is simple and easy to understand. Only thing I didn't like was the whistling.
I like the game concept with the switching powers, every power and power up was actually useful in the game. Props to having something like 7 difficulties in the game. Art is alright. Sound I like the shooting sounds but I didn't like the voice though to be honest.
One of the most beautiful artstyles I seen so far, really great use of the theme with the heart and memories being the one room. I am guessing the game closing when you looked out the window was the abrupt ending, interesting way to do it but some people might think the game crashed. Mood is an easy 5/5 here.
I never gave a game 5/5 on humor before, until now! Really funny and at the same time a bit sad. The voice acting is seriously amazing for a game jam, games in general really, art is good too.
The art is absolutely amazing, just wow it looks like the art in a released title, it's really polished and well done. music it's good as well. Theme wise I like how you can shape the room of the game with your tools. Gameplay, it's not good being honest. Like Kd7uizy says if you put an obstacle in the middle(chest or wall) they will never pass it and you will never lose. It's more like a sandbox game right now.
@Sun-Wukong It's a rhythm game puzzle, you press E in the circle and it shows you in which order to press the box outlines.
@lesbroufe completely understandable. Sadly these puzzles were only ones that I could think of...
@novotmike that was my original plan actually the room would get bigger as you solved the puzzles and you saw more of the house but I didn't have enough time to do that mechanic.
@SimonHutchinson yeah a lot of people have said this, I should have made the puzzle a bit more obvious in what to do since it's quite different from the first one.

Graphics are good, and that film grain effect I noticed. music was good and it was pretty fun although short, I think I beat the game in one minute after failing a few times. Like spacerelated said the camera pans slowly.
Art is great, I like the character designs especially(x-files!), music and sound is easilly 5/5. I loved the way you warped between the kid and the agents and what you found out with the kid helped with the agents and vice versa. Only complaint is the unskippable dialogue especially since there is a lot of repeated dialogue.
Also I couldn't finish the game I was following the walkthrough but clicked the computer before the plasters and then after talking about the plasters I couldnt click the comp anyumore.
Pretty cool, the art is the best part of the game, I like to imagine what kinda world the character lives in probably some dystopia. Game play there is not much too it, no reason not to constantly hold q and spam the mouse button. I like that you can shoot the enemies bullets away adn the window mechanic. Got a bit frustrating when they kill you in one hit though, but the ending was worth completing the game. Not much else to say.
Like everyone already said great use of the claw to transition from scene to scene and using it for removing enemies and lives. It's a very interesting and cool take on the theme. Graphics have a certain charm to them, reminds me of downwell. I just kept dying trying to jump the spikes.
I like that tune that plays throughout the game, game is complicated but with the instructions I figured it out, got the 4 beacons lit but then my main character disappeared but game didn't end. Another thing the character can move after turn ends it seems, was annoying to experience. Anyway interesting take on the theme and good art design/animation.
Graphics and animations are pretty good, game perfectly fits the theme. Gameplay, I didn't understand what to do, no indication of when you laid the chick and jumping up throws some of them into space. Then when the hat spams attacks your world dies very quickly. Music and sound effects are quite good though.
Really really fun to play, and I like the art. I agree with everyone that it would be a good multiplayer game. Can't really find any faults to the game.
Sound effects and art is good, good take on the theme. Gameplay is very fun but like people said it's quite hard, I think what would reduce the difficulty is spacing the islands further from each other and not ramping up the difficulty. After the first island all other islands have minimum of 3 turrets and are also protected by surrounding islands. Maybe make it almost a puzzle game where you pick of the weaker islands and then get to the more powerful ones.
First of commenting on the best part, music is nice. And I like the sound when you pick up the balls and how they change every time your score moves up.
It's an interesting and innovative take on the snake game but I still prefer the original top down version. The snake starts too big at the beginning and you can go out of bounds indefintely, either have the player come out the other side of the playing field or just put walls up.
Graphics were decent. Obviously it's snake so graphics have to be minimal here. My highscore is 10.
This game is awesome, well made. Enjoyed playing it and listening to the music, don't really have complainants on the gameplay. The goal of the game is to make the largest planet ever when the theme is small world, so that's only thing I can find wrong with it, it seems almost opposite of the given theme. I think the design of the planets looks really nice and the design of the characters too.
My favorite part is the music and sound effects, gameplay wasn't too frustrating even though I had to retry one level 10 times, problem is that the enemies can see through walls with the cone of vision. Art is okay, the enemies look a bit like spiders to me.
Graphics are ok, the cubes at least have animation to them which is good. gameplay is alright, would have been better to be able to shoot where ever you want to shoot, since the level has slopes it's difficult to shoot using the you implemented. Other maps or levels would have been great too. Best part by far is the sound, very responsive to what is happening in the game and it's satisfying hearing the stomp sound when jumping on enemies.
I enjoyed the gameplay a lot, good level variety although level 5 did seem borderline impossible. I do agree with swiftillusion the movement should have been more fluid. Art maybe could have used more variety on the desk like stapler or a book. Music was ok. Good work on your first ludum dare.
5/5 Mood, fantastic graphical effects and sounds are great, it's an experience for sure, but there really isn't any gameplay to it.
Art was good, music was good and pleasent to listen to. Gameplay I think was executed perfectly. The difficulty ramp was very gradual, and the fake outs when they jumped or raised their hands was a nice touch. Most importantly it was fun to play. I lost when there was 14 people on the planet. score was 4400 something.
Good take on the theme, micro organism. Like everyone said the movement was extremely fast, made it hard to play. Art was decent. No sounds when shooting bullets and would be nice to have restart button.
Graphics. I like them reminds me of 90s adventure games, animation is good. 4/5.
Humor. Pretty funny compared to most LD entries. 4/5.

Audio. I like the track and sound effect. No real complaints going to score it 5/5 simply because audio is on of the most neglected categories in LD so just having good sound gets high score.
Fun. It's very fun because of it's length, respawn in a room when you die is good anti frustration..even though this goes against the very concept of rogue likes. 3/5. I feel like a little bit more challenge would have made it more fun.
Humor. Nothing funny here, maybe the opening where he says he forgot to charge his gun. 2/5.
Overall I think you can take this concept further than just Ludum Dare, different sockets like people said and different guns. Good luck.

This is my favorite game so far and possible the entire Ludum Dare. It's very fun to play and challenging without frustrating, Graphics were maybe weakest part but still good 4/5. Everything else is a solid 5/5, good sound effects with voice over don't see that too often. Very funny situation with a dog tasked with running a space ship. Fits the theme perfectly haven't seen a better take on the theme yet. Innovative gameplay. Most importantly extremely fun. Fantastic job guys. 5/5.

Possibly just try only upgrading fuel, oxygen depletes a lot slower. Pressing e gives half your oxygen into your fuel tank.
I made a tweaked version that should be enough to collect the parts with upgrades.
Graphics, Audio and Mood. All solid 5's. Love the music and soundeffect. Some of the best art i've seen on LD. Amazing job. Having great art and sound of course makes the mood great too.
Innovation. Not innovate really, nothing special in terms of game mechanics. 2/5.
Theme. Doesn't follow theme that well, using his attack increases his power/hp. It's basically a hp bar. 2/5.

Innovation and Theme. On the surface it's a basic shooter, but using your ammo to fix generators as well as lighting your path and then as regular bullets, was very clever. Also lowering the main base hp everytime you recharge your gun. You took the theme and made some innnovative gameplay out of it cant ask for more. 5/5 for both theme and innovation.

Very nice game and fun to play, levels are well constructed, except the bug on puzzle 4. Then I had another bug on the level when the green blocks show up for the first time. bug was with the blue blocks again. Over all its a good game, sound effects are nice. Keep it up.
Nice game and fun. Good take on theme, pretty creative little game. I like the mechanic where you cant shoot if you hit an object, multiplayer highscore was a good touch makes people want to replay the game to go up in the scoreboard. Only thing I can critique is the graphics are very plain not exciting, but the music and sound are good.
I encountrered that ai claims a taken tile bug, but still won though. It's pretty enjoyable, I think a two player mode would be great. Also the sound effects are very good.
Great audio, love the font as well and kim with sunglasses is quite funny, gameplay it just seems you spam space to win I gave up around the 3rd level.
Very interesting take on the theme, very unique, like someone said the zoom effect at the beginning is nice, I understood what I had to do but it always seemed you run out of water very quickly and you can't get points quick enough, always died day 4/5.

Yeah the story is pretty interesting and it's an interesting implemintation of the theme using it to frame the story. I would say it would be nice to have your stats displayed so you know which options you should try in the story.

Wow this is NES game level of difficulty there seems to be only one way to properly progress through the game. Even with walkthrough it's still very tough and you will fail whenever you encounter a new puzzle making it tedious to constantly redo everything. With that said, the art style is very nice, and it fits the music. It's a good albeit frustrating take on the theme.
The animations are fantastic especially that respawn and crawl animation, I like how the floppies unlock your abilites and produce these graphical errors, nice use of the theme, like the others I had problems with the jumping, some platforms take many many tries to get on even with double jump.
Very interesting artstyle, I like it. Like someone else said the game is very "juicy" made it to act 3 but couldnt figure out how to kill the red running enemy, only bad thing I'll say is that the theme feels tacked onto the game. Over all its quite good. Good job.
It's a very suitable art style for this type of puzzle game, and good choice of colors like others have said. The game itself I was only able to make the cube, it would be nice if we saw the shape we need to make, the game would still be challenging even with this change. Music was relaxing but I think it needs to be a bit longer. Good job.

I agree with the guy that said we need to know which piece comes next so we can plan it out, I never made it past the 3rd floor the tile would always fall off. Its a very creative game, and good take on the theme. The difficulty wasnt a huge problem for me until the level with the two obstacles, issue with the player blocking the view of the obstacle but if you move out of the way to see it then you wont have time to move back to squeeze through. Graphics were nice, its voxel art right. Anyway Good job.
Didn't have any problems with webgl version.. Great art and sound. My issue was the controls, hitting a key every time you want to move a space, I think its better to move while holding a key down, survived about 5 minutes before the girl died. What am I supposed to do to win? The art style and animations are very impressive.
Really nice game, I like how it has multiple game over screens, It's a lot more complex than it seems at first, and fun to play, great job on it. This reminds me of a virus I had on my computer that kept filling up my disc space til I had nothing left, had to reformat.

Only thing I'd critique is your take on the theme is a bit abstract, it's still just a top down shooter and doesnt really use the theme to make interesting game mechanics. Overall very good job.

As everyone else has said, this game has phenomenal art. Right now it's more like a sandbox gameplay, doesnt seem to be any goal, and I don't understand what the buildings do. I will leave the humor score blank. But good take on the theme.
I really like the sound effects and animations especially the fall animation, when the platform gets small enough you can just jump on an enemy and you will stay there with your score going up. Anyway good job.

Like the meteor animation, that seemed like the only effective weapon, the ice mountains didnt do anything and at one point the music just cut off, should probably loop it. Good Effort.
Its an interesting take on snake, snake has had many many variations but I dont think i've seen this kind of variation. Graphics were a little strange maybe add a black border along the colors. Over all good job.
cool a 3D game. It looks pretty good, I agree with krylos about the soundtrack as well. I got 8 suspects and quit after they started repeating. My only problem is the theme, what are you sacrificing. The cases seem to go one after the other I never failed a case, maybe your idea was to have 2 cases at the same time?
I like the concept a lot, it fits the theme very well. It was fun figuring out how to beat the level although some levels were more tedious than others. The characters I think look pretty good. Over all very good only problem the looping sound gets annoying.
The polish is astounding, well done, art/music is all great, very high quality. The take on the theme, I think someone else said it doesnt change the game much. If you shoot enemies point blank you instantly collect the bullet anyway and I dont think the bullet ever goes away as time goes by. I think because the levels are so tight that there isnt a worry about retrieving your bullet.
Very good graphics and sound, I got stuck after getting the double jump ability my player disappeared completely. Not sure what you sacrifice here doesnt really fit the theme.
I agree with the keep driving thing make the choices as you see them, good take on the theme but my big gripe is when I finished the game no way to replay it and there didnt seem to be a quit button, had to close it in task manager.
Well its a nice concept you can build on, right now its more like a sandbox, I suggest maybe add a variable to control the number of enemies that spawn as well so player can choose. My main criticism is it doesnt really grab you I was finished with it in 5 minutes. I did have fun playing it though and it fits the theme. Good job.
This game is amazing well done, the voice acting best i've seen in the jam and I love the animations. Game was really fun and easy to understand. And you used the theme perfectly. I feel it needs a bit less rng like others said. Overall one of the best games I played in the jam.
audio voice acting 5/5 this was unlike anything I have played in ludum dare and I have participated and rated games in 8 ludum dare jams now. Art is fantastic too, it really ticks all the boxes with the categories. Well done.
The good part is the art is pretty good, the music is fine. The bad is not stating the controls to the game, took me a while to figure them out also difficulty was frustrating.

@yyz wow thanks for the in depth review I'm sad about the out of memory error I published at least a dozen webgl games and never had that issue I googled it but there is very little info, really dont know what to do maybe increase the memory size in the webgl build settings I dunno.
Very good game and fun to play, I like the design of all the items, they are all very unique. If this game was for ludum dare 42 I would give 5/5 for theme but since its 43 I dont feel like this game fits the theme. Anyway good job.
Good work, got to 2000 points before I got bored, it should have been more challenging. Good take on the theme and the music is nice, I like the art on the special attacks.
Its an interesting take on the theme I think it can work but I dont like the execution, getting hit playing blind isnt very fun at all no matter how many times I hit the guy he wouldn't die. I would suggest make the light dimming more gradual and have a way to make it brighter like sacrifice health for it for example, also have a boss health bar so you can see how far you are to beating him. Good job.
I got 3rd place in the highscore list got around 12k points, pretty much a perfect game for 3 days of work, hats off to you. I really like the gun sound effects and art is pretty good. My only maybe nitpick is the theme, sacrificing points its more like spending points on upgrades lol so I dont think the game followed the theme well. Other wise perfect game.
The art style is fantastic reminds me of old cartoon and cuphead, music also fits with the art very well. Theme was executed really well, my probably only problem is like captainpilot said you just see which square has most termites then you wait for the square to get smaller. Over all though it was fantastic game one of my favorites this jam.
This game is amazing, I especially love that scrolling city block effect. music is good, art is good. Game mechanics fits the theme. No complaints. I just had a little bug when hitting a wall my player could no longer jump and I had to suicide. Over all very good game.

The art is very good, I like the music, gameplay is fun but like others have noticed if you throw bodies at a close distance they wont fill the hole, also maybe the player should be invulnerable to attack for a little while after hit cause he goes down pretty quickly. Good work.

Art is fantastic, love the ragdolls when you hit the people. Music it surprisingly fits the game. And good use of the theme, but it would be fun to have an objective either sacrifice as little people as possible or try to kill all, felt a bit of a sandbox rather than a game. Good job.

Narration is good, and I like the sound effects like the pharoh laugh and the hit sound effect, art was good. I'm not sure what strength I was sacrificing were my attacks getting weaker? And it became really hard to dodge the enemies in the second level. Overall good job though.
Music is really relaxing, the art reminds me of that game bubble tanks. The game though it seems to have a high barrier of entry I couldn't quite understand exactly what I needed to do, I was pressing shift to the beat and was shooting but just couldn't grasp it, I tried sorry. Anyway since its your first unity c# game I'd say thats a very good first attempt.

That a cute volcano, simple but well done gameplay and I like the sound effects. I'd probably have more variety of people if I had to make a suggestion. Also thank you for rating nearly 200 games! Rarely see people rate that many.
Animations were good and it was fun to play, music matched the mood. My only problem is the theme, it feels its just thrown into the story and has no connection to the game mechanics. Other wise good entry.
Very unique with the voice acting, I laughed when the last demon just started singing. Art was bad im gonna be honest there. Good use of the theme with the stat sacrifice and then ultimate sacrifice at the end.
The mood is 5/5 the music and art fit the story very well, Thats a good job there. The concept is interesting but the problem is the execution, even though the 3 sliders add depth you can win randomly and as people said the collision arent good my soldiers got stuck easily. Anyway congrats on your 2nd ludum dare.
It was fun, and I also died to the second enemy thats tough but after a few tries made it past him then I see the third enemy thats when things got crazy and I havent beaten the game sadly. The good parts are the sound effects and its fun to play, bad I think the enemies have too much hp.
I liked the feedback when you shoot the enemies sound and explosion effects very satisfying. I didnt have any issues with the spikes, I basically just edged my way to progress the screen and then shoot the enemies, not much else, the problem there is no depth to the gameplay. The sounds were good but that music track at the end its a cacophony. Good take on the theme.
Really good take on the theme, very well integrated into game mechanics, thats what I like to see in ludum dare games. Game was fun, art was alright. The big problem is no sound of course, even a bullet sound effect would have been ok. Good job especially on the theme.

Saved 64 was the highest I got I think. Good use of the theme and first game I tested that I thought innovated instead of making something familiar, sound effects are good too. I guess the graphics are a bit plain only nitpick I have.
Love the ui art, its very interesting take on theme not something I've seen in other games and the music and art all add to the mood. Don't really notice any flaws in this game. Fantastic job.
I was wondering why I couldnt pick up any items but then I read you didnt have time for inventory system. Does seem unfinished, but I like the low poly raccoon. Good job.
Sound effects are very good, pack a punch. art is really nice and it feels good to play it but like others said its very difficult to progress far I only made it to the second floor.
Also I never felt like I needed to sacrifice anything, it asked for my weapon in return for 2 hp. Anyway you probably improved the game in the post jam version but I can only judge the one submitted during jam. Good work.
I can relate although just reviewing other peoples games usually gives me around 30 votes each time, I do feel like my game is given a chance but usually I get bad scores which bum me out til the next ludum dare lol. I can relate somewhat, in a way this game is very meta and innovative. also you have a good voice. If I can say anything is bad is that it doesnt really follow the theme at all.
You executed this idea perfectly, every category was great, it was innovative, it fit the theme and the art/audio was really nice. One of my favorites so far.

Amazing, very cinematic intro, usually ld games just start you with gameplay, it was very well put together and polished. Graphics and sound fit together well, I like the mechanic of the upgrades, maybe more enemy variety since it was getting boring killing them. Anyway I made it to day 5 and I accidentally killed myself after using grenades.
You know... I have been in 9 jams now.this, this is the most bizarre game I have ever played. The graphics from a glance they seem not very good but I am very impressed how you can chop off induvidual fingers and nipples. I kept putting body parts in but nothing was coming out of the chute. There is a single sound in this game... the button. An avant garde game, but one thats unsettling to play. I will remember this game thats for sure.
I figured out what to do through trial and error, best part is the audio, love the hit sound and the screen shake. Worst part is I don't see how the theme fits here. The enemy was well drawn.

I also got stuck on level 2, cant jump the wall. The art....it's interesting, the story is bizarre. This will go in the strange game list I am making. It's not very innovative, very loosely ties with the theme. But it's great that you had fun making the game, that's whats its all about.
What, this is my intial reaction. How does the theme fit into this. The weapons turn into money...but your life is not currency or it is hmmm. I agree with luther-1 the graphics on the first screen were amazing, sounds were a bit loud when shooting also isnt the song copyrighted? Anyway that was a strange and interesting experience.
Oh did you make your own graphics? Those are good. It's a good use of the theme, shooting is fun but not controlling the ship and it would be nice if the enemies explode. I think my score was 1600 or something. Good job.

Its interesting, very literal take on the theme, your life is currency. I like the music it fits the game and I like graphics. The game play has some depth but it doesnt seem very strategic a lot of it is based on luck and I feel like going second in this game gives you an advantage. Good job.
Great art and especially sound effects, and its an interesting use of the theme. The controls and gameplay are innovative and the graphics of the ui the sound and the art all combine for a great mood. My only problem is that it's not fun to play, very frustrating, believe me I tried at least 10 times the level only got 64 points. But otherwise very good game.

I got 11k score. Kenney assets are good, the sound when there are many ships on screen it's very mind numbing maybe lower volume or have a softer sound. Impressive for 1 day of making the game, and thank you for rating over 50 games.
I played the game til the "press K" ability then I just kept dying at least 15 times. The art is consistent and I like the water art. There doesn't seem to be any audio or sound you should have opted out. I also don't understand how this fits the theme sorry. Anyway good luck in the future, you will improve from here.
Good work, music I enjoyed the music, but it seems like horror themed music to me, it doesnt fit the game. Despite being just boxes graphics were clean. I couldn't jump very high like many people here, and minimap looks good, the theme I think it could have been a more interesting idea than this. Well, I can tell things went wrong here, I can relate it happened with my first game jam as well. I think at least the enemies look nice, for suggestions the background scroll should be slower. and when I restarted the black boxes around me were gone and I couldn't die anymore. You finished a game though that's the important part, good luck in your future projects.

Its an okay clicker game, pretty barebones but I find most clicker games are quite fun. Fits the theme. Not much else to it.

Graphics and sound were good, theme was good in that you actually start without even ability to punch clever. At first I thought I was controlled the red jacket guy lol. Only problems were the beam weapon I couldnt aim it and my shadow guy kept getting stuck in place. Over all quite good.
Graphics and sound I like a lot, fits the game well. Finished the game with all creatures. Clues made sense and helped. One minor pet peeve some items highlight worse than others and you dont even realize they are selected and when you talk to the spider black bar covers the arrow so cant see it, other than that it's fine.
I never found a single pod but I manged to get 5 pieces before I got stuck inside a rock and couldnt get out. My favorite part though was that audio track and the rotating camera and gravity mechanic plus its 3D dont see a lot of those games. Good effort.

Graphics are fantastic, incredibly well polished and music is consistant with the art style, game play its fun but the levels go on for far too long in my opinion. Postives are the minimalist clean art style and the soothing music. My big negative is the theme, the creature is called nothing but I seen many games do that now. I think its just way to loose to fit a very generic theme. Anyway keep it up, see you next jam.

I like the graphics, gameplay is alright, no sound hurts the game simple noise when shooting would have made it more enjoyable. It terms of theme you start with no bullets but you do have water. And one more nitpick when the player goes off to the side of the screen should come out the other side like an arcade game.

Very innovative and unique take on this theme, I made it past stage 1 colelcted 5 gpu then collected 4 gpu on stage 2 before giving up. Fun at first but does become very frustrating as you constantly die. Death counter would be cool btw. Graphics are just okay even fully upgraded, sound is fine too. Over all great game.
Just standard rpg decent art sound, but its very hard didnt get far into the game.
Well it was fun actually I liked punching and throwing the guy, I destroyed all those gates and all the zombies but nothing else happened. The theme was weak just calling a guy nothing. I like the punching sound and how every item was destructable. Good job.

I was suprised I played it multiple times, my highest score was 4. It's fun to play, I would say the graphics are really bad but you knew this probably, there is no sound, I think sound could have made the game even more humorous. Theme it follows the theme technically but doesnt really do anything with it. Good work.

I like the sound effects when they die funny and the music in general was very good. Graphics were good except those weird black smudges on the floor they looked bad and needed some variety to them in terms of their shape. Doesnt seem to be a restart button anywhere I only made it to level 2. Anyway good job.

Every comment says "interesting" and I think there is really something unique and interesting about this game. I really like the art style and I think the music and especially sound effects are fantastic. I would have liked to maybe see a goal survive the day and you win or something.

@adamv @aphid98 there is walkthrough in the description. You cant interact with items if its unrelated to the slimes current needs to prevent like 20 bugs I had. I knew this would happen, feels bad man.
@aphid98 yeah for first need you click on book shelf to get a book and give it to the slime by clicking slime. its not very clear in the game sorry.
@deadwave-games you need to right click on the right moment to get cooked food. That was the only minigame without instructions.
Okay there is a windows version now but im not sure if that will help sadly.

Pretty good game, I got as far as the make a white flower but then I made some combination I couldnt plant and got stuck, I think you had some inspiration from undertale in terms of mood and art didnt you. Also music fit the mood well. Only complaint is it didn't fit the theme.

Well, the graphics are really well done, I have done animations in photoshop in previous jams and literally any other program will make your job easier. As for the gameplay, it seems impossible to win I tried a dozen times to beat the game but couldn't the hp is simply to low to win, also could have used hp indicator just a number on the screen would do. Obviously the fact I tried dozen times to win indicates its somewhat fun to play. Doesnt do much with the theme. And again the graphics are great, learn more coding and more about your engine and come back stronger next jam.
The idea is good and its creative use of theme, art is a bit of a mish mash every art asset is in a different art style which doesnt look good, game has some glitches I got stuck in the sky and couldnt go down. Music is good.

Well I didnt find it too difficult to follow at all. My game is similarly confusing for people, I know that feeling. The humor maybe unintentional but its pretty funny, use of theme is good and like the sound effects but graphics are not good. Gameplay I was never able to get past first disaster sadly even on easiest setting, was only able to get around 40/45% chance every time and failed. Anyway Good try.
Art is great, thats your strength gameplay the idea is good but problem is its unfinished I think. My suggestions are; The longer you stay balanced the faster your exp should rise. Have the train button be a keyboard key and not mouse cause you click mouse then need to quickly go to keyboard. Have limited amount of training session before a fight.
"You wing" funny, difficult sometimes frustrating but beatable once you remember how the levels goes. Not much to say just decent in all categories, maybe theme a bit uncreative but overall good game.
Good that you used all your own assets although I gotta say the song loop was too short. And some of the graphics were blurry. Game was fun though I couldn't beat it but tried 4 times. Good job.
I think what would make it fun would be movement with mouse that way the player will be able to handle the balls easily instead of having difficulty with only 2 balls. The sound is really good though and good use of the theme. Good work on your first jam.
The story was funny, spiders have bear ears? Gameplay is fun and music is good, my favorite part is the animation on the farmer. What I didn;t like is it seems the spiders only came from 4 spots diagonally and got bored after killing 200 spiders. Good job.
It's similiar to my game but 10 times better. Amazing artstyle, amazing sound effects(wish I could give a 5 on audio) fun to play and figure out what to do. Art style and audio combined really showed how light hearted the game is so good mood score. My only issue is the theme, doesnt follow it really and its hard to pick up the objects sometimes. Over all great game though.

Strongest point is the background art is really beautiful, I like the sound effects as well, I like the interesting control scheme and that makes the game fun and as people said can be a 2 player game.
Now of course the game breaking problem there are no building collisions so the cat can go out of bounds and then the octopuses stop following, second there is no enemy variety so gets boring quickly and finally there is no quit button so had to alt tab to close this game.
The theme was alright, I like how the enemies drop food for the cat to keep him alive.
The intro text was fast yes, also it always said day 1 on the ui. When 3 days past it just said you have zero days remaining I had a big crowd too was hoping I won, feels very unfinished. The good parts were very unique take on theme and I like that shimmer effect on the shadows in the water.
I was able to keep my company alive with a cactus game! But after replaying I died like 5 times, must have been lucky. Great stuff and I'm happy you had fun making your game, i'm usually exhausted after a game jam and take a day to recover.
The animation on the horse is amazing, you dont get enough credit for that, especially when you stop the movement animation amazing. In terms of theme its not really keeping the horse alive I mean you put the horse in situations it may die in... Also it's a slippery on the platforms though which is frustrating but I replayed at least 4 times got half the apples but kept dying. Great work.
Should put keyboard controls in description, I liked the music and the character art was decent, I also wasnt sure what I was doing I collected all the water but there is a day night cycle and happy meter and super water. I dont understand what they do or what the goal is.

Great game and it fits the theme so well, graphics are decent, I like the sound effects. I gave it a lot of my time but it always felt like I was advancing an inch every 10 minutes, played for , I wish I could see more of the game but it was too frustrating for me. Maybe I'll come back to it later. But still this game is very very good dont get me wrong.
Love the UI, really nicely integrated with the game, the sound is also fantastic. Gameplay is okay my problem is it seems impossible to dodge the bullets maybe if the ship was controlled with mouse. Theme take is very literal. Overall its good considering you only had a single day.

Interesting concept, I like making the loops and the music is good. I'd say the money you earn is too slow, making longer trips makes more money but it takes a lot more time. For an idle game you want the early game to go quickly and then slow it down. Anyway good job to both of you.

The sub design could have used more work but I like how it upgraded as the game progresses, sadly when I was collecting seaweed I didn't get enough and then game froze. Pretty good, Graphics and music fit well together to make a good mood, found the controls frustrating at first but they are good once you learn them. One thing I think would improve the game is checkpoints, failing the later levels is a big slog to go through them again.

Good stuff, Art is just okay but the art and music fit well together to make a great mood. Gameplay was good, I found the wreckage of the distress signal. Overall its a good game, well done. Two things I would suggest have the boat start at the store so you wont have to search for it. And have the treasure spawn in random places, right now it just always appears in the same places.
Well, I'd say the best thing is the music the way it gets more dramatic as the fight gets more intense very well done, mood is good. Art is decent but unpolished. Game is fun I enjoy shooters. Very creative use of the theme easy 5/5, breath of fresh air compared to all the digging and submarine games. Gameplay wasn't fun at all, quite basic, maybe its the point its supposed to be stressful like a meta commentary? Art is phenomenal and combined with the music give a great mood to the game. The boss difficulty makes sense considering how short the game is, good take on the theme but its pretty generic gameplay could be more creative. And I realize you didnt have much time with the compo, I did the compo for the first time too after doing the jam for a long time, its a very different type of challenge for sure.
The choice of sounds is perfect, love the artstyle. Game itself fits the theme well and it seems to be an idle game, but the pace of you upgrading is too slow, I think it would be better if you were able to upgrade the first upgrades quickly with little money and then the time between upgrades would get longer but I could never have enough money even after 2 days which last 6 minutes. This game is really something different, like the aesthetic to it. Music is okay kinda drones on. Gameplay is quite fun and that's pretty amazing you did this in a day and half. Only thing I have to mark down is it barely follows the theme. I'd say have some hit invulnerability cause the demons can kill you instantly even with 4 health if you stand still. Well done.

Good job, I like the robot design, like the sounds, gameplay it was okay, I would have liked if the enemies were easier to destroy its unsatisfying when you fire 10 missles at something and its still there, after a while there were too many ships for me to handle. Anyway good job, this was also my first compo after doing the jam for 12 entries straight, it really is a completely different game dev experience.

Wow this game is legendary, thought it would go on forever considering most compo games you see the whole game in 3 minutes, just every aspect was great, graphically amazing, music fit the game, gameplay was challenging but not frustrating and I didnt give up like with most puzzle games on ludum dare, found the dog. And of course this fits the theme like a glove. Played on browser didnt encounter issues. Great work.

21 nights as soon as the spider guy came I couldnt beat him. Great sound for a horror game, graphically was alright but I did really like the monster design, gameplay its very simple just spamming keys, probably effort went into audio and graphics. In terms of theme you did a good job there.
Very interesting concept and you did well with the theme, I never could quite grasp it and didnt progress far into the game.
Great work for 48 hours, incredibly well polished. Graphics were great and sounds were on point. Gameplay its a bit too simple but fun for a while. Only thing is theme wise not sure how it fits, is it controlling the shape, trying to stabilize it.
Made it home! Thats one of the more interesting takes on the theme, I know there are more os related games out there but this one is pretty unique. Graphically its alright, nice and simple. Gameplay wise I was running around like a headless chicken trying to get home, after randomly mining and burning material and disposing of junk I finished the game but I never did understand if I was doing well or badly, it doesnt feel like the actions you do have immediate consequences. Anyway great work.
That was good, I like the gameplay, all the cool particles and explosions really enhance a game and you did those well. Like others have said I never needed to use the burst, I like the UI for the ship pretty good and you dont want UI to clutter a screen for this type of game. Then there was the laughter...was that the game devs losing their mind or the ship hmmm.
Wow fantastic concept, amazing how something so simple can be so fun to play. Great enemy design especially on the bullet seeking enemy, I was hugging the center of the board til those arrived forced me to change my strategy. The only thing missing is sound, its strange in most games without sound its not a huge deal but I feel your game needed at least a sound effect on getting hit. Over all good job.
Nicely polished, like the fade on the tutorial suggestions when you perform the actions, you really paid attention to the little things to make a good game, but I never figured out what was a safe falling distance for the king. @euler-moises you can move the screen around with right click.
Yo I actually got spooked by the screen, very nice effect. Like the design of the cute alpaca. But from reading the comments everyone including me cant hit the kraken, I think the hit detection is just broken.
That was pretty cool, mood and music fit well together with the graphics, feeling of a calm talk. The ai guy didnt give me the feeling of instability he seemed pretty relaxed just concerned about a few things. Gameplay was alright but didnt want to redo the game to get another ending.
Reminds me of superhot a bit, shooting enemies is very fun, got some cinematic kills and headshots, graphics fit the mood of the game, and the level design is really something else. After getting immune to ground equip I jumped of some building and my guy never landed or died.
That's very fun to play, challenging but not so much that you didnt try again and again. Like the UI design and cute animals, the sound effects are good too. unique take on the theme, Ive been seeing some very similar games but this isnt one of them. Good job.
That was frustrating, fits the theme though. I think would have been great to have a silly sound effect when you stretch your leg.
The ai guys generally dont have detailed background, very cool concept for a game, probably most unique game i've played so far, love the reloading animation and sound. Only drawback is it doesnt fit the theme beyond surface level backstory. Good job.
Amazing game, has it all excellent graphics, great music and sound effects, really amazing gameplay and emergent too, the way you pick up certain engine parts will change the way you pilot the ship. Perfectly fits the theme. Really the best game I have played so far and not sure if I will find out thats better.
A lot of variety in the art here and I like the sound effects, game was alright but feel it was a bit easy I got bored before I lost lives.
That was alright, the gameplay was fun for a while but it has a few major problems like, the text is very blurry and there is no restart button. But especially the text.
Good stuff, like the mood of the game, felt it didnt fit the theme too well. Impressed at the depth of gameplay done in only 2 days.
The concept is there and its fun, but like people said its very unfinished there is no success state or end state or fail state, no feedback to your actions.
Yeah like everyone said there is simply too much information to process in too little time, but thats more a question of game balance which is hard to do in 48 hours, other wise nicely done game with good art and good music.
Decent game but I was able to cheeze it with spamming space bar and keeping the circle in one place getting 2nd place with 63secs, maybe have points scored based on amount of loops made? Otherwise good effort and I like the audio track.
Insane amount of polish, fantastic game, cant wrap my head around just one guy doing graphics, game design and coding this in 72 hours. Well done.

@aiyn-skriban found the issue the retreat chance never resets to 0 so thats why you can retreat with 100% success everytime.

Love the lighting effects especially when the mist passes a torch, gameplay was fun for a while but it was missing some depth to it, something else to keep you engaged with the game but not sure what I'd add. Good effort. I scored 8316.
Pretty good game, nice take on the theme and I liked how the puzzles were randomized I didnt want to do the same puzzles every time. Love the dramatic music too. Not much to criticize here.
Nice graphics on everything except the textboxes, could have used a nice font. More responsiveness needed in terms of hitting enemies and getting hit I noticed my live go down but the goblins were too far away to touch me. Good luck on getting 20 ratings you guys should probably start rating some games only 10 days left.
Oh this game is great fits the theme perfectly, love the art and animations, music is alright. You created a great mood, it feels like an old 50s monster movie. Replayed it a few times but never got more than 3 days, I like how every playthrough you can try a different strategy and just when I thought the game had no humor I saw the lego trap animations, 5/5 humor.
Wow you created a song just for the game, thats great. Gameplay was a bit confusing I managed to combine some stuff but there was never any indication for what I was currently combining so I was just mindlessly clicking after a while, definitely could use work on more visual feedback to the player. Visually the font was a bit plain, and the 3D model wasnt too good but I liked the room. Fits the theme.
Wow that ending...Like the art of the room, gameplay there isnt much to it, not sure if you had the time but could have found a way to expand on it, it didnt feel responsive clicking the terminal.
Probably the most thorough tutorial of any game I rated so far, like the run animation and the sound of the bow, music is relaxing though gameplay isn't. It was a bit too hard for me. I couldn't finish it. Good job.
Very nice, the sound design fits an alien world, I like the different creatures and biomes in place, impressive what you guys have done in 3 days, only critique is the gameplay started to feel like a chore after a while. Otherwise a great game and good take on the theme.

Wow that rotating earth is beautiful and the UI looks great too though it blocks you seeing the asteroids, gameplay needs balancing the turrets are overpowered, doesnt seem like earths demise is inevitable with these guys around.
Made it 7 years at the most, love the art, would make a good sandbox to construct a city. Gameplay fit the theme well, but I didnt really feel like I figured the game out even though I played it 4 times, I was just placing buildings next to citizens with lowest bar. Relaxing music fits the game though. Good job.

Okay finished playing, love the atmosphere of the game, the graphics and audio combine really well here. I also love the crunch when you hit enemies its extremely satisfying, it has the where the hell do I go of metroidvania plus there is no map but overall its a fantastic game. Seems the theme was just a mechanic to the side though instead of the theme of the game. Good job.
Love the art, music does not fit the game at all. Gameplay is simple but fun, it seems that the asteroids do nothing to the planet so there is no point in shooting the asteroids you can just dodge, I made it around 5 minutes, good job.
First off love the music, gives a sense of urgency and sets the mood, gameplay is decent, except the upgrade menu when you click to see what you are upgrading you already bought it, should be mouse over also it gets too hard way to quickly and buying second jump is critical to actually getting anywhere, but the gameplay was pretty fun I tried half a dozen times to beat it. The art isnt good, I like all the heat effects though. Fits the theme decent although I wonder can you prevent the inevitable by fixing the ship. Good job guys.

I got 17 minutes 51 seconds awesome game very fun, I thought at first man this game is too simple but then the upgrades came and new enemies, even at minute 15 the enemies were still changing, just a really good game, I enjoyed playing it. Only critique I'd say it doesnt really do anything with the theme.
You made me sad for a rover robot, amazing, the whole game, probably the most polished graphics and sound I've seen in the jam.
Wait the tree had animals next to it, did they die? noooo. Wow the art is magnificent, love the music too, visually its one of the best in the jam, but the game has some problems, its too fast paced for a card battle, seems there is no strategy involved just collect water cards and attack the flames, and sometimes its hard to drag the cards into the slot. Fits the theme well though.
So simple but so much fun, like the variety in the asteroids, played it a few times and got 65 seconds as my time, could have used a few atari era sounds but sound is always last priority for a compo game. Well done, great stuff.

Wall jumping was a lot better than I feared it would be, love the little ghosts that pop up after you die spawned enough for a haunted house after a while, I would recommend resetting to checkpoint a lot faster after dying in a game with a lot of deaths. Good work.

Okay, that was pretty fun word game, like the sound effects used. Sometimes you can make more than one word with the letters given but only one word actually counts, I think 10 seconds was perfectly fine and challenging for this type of game.
Very nice graphics and animations. interesting idea for the theme. The gameplay is a bit basic and it never seemed that I could get any coins. Had to restart the game and then there was a sword all of a sudden which allowed me to continue with the game, strange. It definitely took waaaay longer to finish the game than I thought. Very cute though.

Was cool, relaxing atmosphere despite the impending doom, like the art style too. My main problem is the ui obscures the buildings sometimes, one time my shrine was located behind the day/night cycle ui. The use of the theme doesnt really impact the game since you can fast forward. Overall decent game.
Very interesting, Graphics are great and the animations wow, im assuming they were created pre jam if not amazing work in so little time. Audio was good but when I restarted the level it doubled. Gameplay wise fighting the vegetables is fun but it becomes very difficult very quickly to make the dishes, 10 seconds is just too little time to cook all the food, maybe have it so you can carry more than 1 ingredient at a time. Over all good job.

Yeah, the aesthetic is good, it's a good concept though it's hard to implement a good rpg battle mechanic in only a few days, It would be nice if you could replenish your troops the moment you lose just one then it's all over. Also some sound would be nice. Good job.
Good game, like the graphics and post processing, the song was a bit repetitive, I will say that 10 seconds wait is actually too long a time since the levels are very short, the darkness is barely a convenience, simple balancing issue. Otherwise, a good game.
That was a stellar game. When I heard voice acting, I was blown away, very rare to see on a game jam. Art is also amazing, really love the style. The sound design is very very good. Gameplay is a bit simple, and I would recommend adding a timer ui since there are timed puzzles in the game and you have to count the seconds in your head. I failed a jump like 10 times. Anyway, good job guys.
Wow, amazing how many effects you crammed into the game, all effect the game in different ways, art and especially the sound is top notch. Only thing I'd say is there is no reason to keep moving in the game you can just same and shoot in a single spot.
Quite fun, challenging to figure out how to make the multi colored boxes but I got it after some time. Sadly my antivirus blocked the score submition... Also its not 10 seconds seems like its 60 seconds each round.
Very good graphics, agree about the hitboxes and restarting the game after 1 fail is a bit harsh. Only thing I didn't like is the post processing is very very heavy on the game, film grain should be turned down. Otherwise decent game.
Incredibly juicy, you really understand game feel, with that said it's a bit basic in terms of gameplay the theme doesn't add much to the game. But fun to play.
Well, you recognize it's not good...I've made a ton of bad game jam games, know that feeling. Glad you got something done. I'd say the good parts are the take on the theme, without the theme implementation it would be very boring. Dying instantly and seeing the death screen made me burst out laughing, so a 5 for humor.

Made it in 13 deaths, yeah that was cool, like the use of the theme. I was always thinking a monster would come and kill me anytime...spooky. I thought the background music was the only part I didn't like didnt fit the mood or the sound effects which were good.
Love the animation on the shoe and the sound gives a nice impact. Good concept though it's not always every 10 seconds, you could finish some challenges in 1 second and the background looks a bit muddy, blurred. Overall it was fun to play. Good job.
Fantastic game, the animation and art, just the overall polish is some of the best i've seen this game jam. Love the sound too. You really know how to implement game juice. Can't really thing anything to complain about, feel like 10 seconds is a bit short for each round but you it's the theme after all.

Really like the graphics and sound, I like how you gradually introduce the mechanics into the game makes it easy to understand and play. The theme....it works against the game 10 seconds is simply too long to wait for the tiles to fall, if it was more fast paced the game would be better but it wouldn't follow the theme.
Well, it's a good effort, but first the colors get very saturated, it could use some sounds and you can't really see the score UI against the red background. Also not sure how the theme was implemented.

I like the mood and sound in the game, graphics were decent but the main boss is just a colored ball, I'd say there are actually too many colors having just 3 primary colors would make it intuitive to understand what to do and make switching between colors less clunky. Good use of the theme though.
It's certainly an interesting game, it ramps up a bit too fast in difficulty, I like the sound and animations. Though my brain just couldn't process all the symbols in time, somehow, I managed to beat the game though.

Its fun, it has good graphics and I really like how punchy the gun sounds. But it's very hard the difficulty goes from 0 to 100 in seconds. 10 seconds is actually too long for the plant because of how fast the bugs can kill it. It needs some tweaking. Overall decent game.
Like the art style, agree with ghastlymicrowave I didn't know how many it takes to harvest, also the difficulty shoots through the roof. It's pretty complex for 3 days that's some good work. Just needs a bit of balancing.
Amazing game, really love the atmosphere you created and the unique way you used the theme. I had people slip away from me 3 times in a row, but managed to kill three on my next play through, yeah just a really enjoyable game, my favorite from what I've tested so far.
Got seventh, decent game, like how the theme was used to make a unique mechanic. Agree with people saying the leaderboard pushes you to replay the game. Good art, and good music though I would have had a different harm sound when enemies hit you, over all pretty good.

@flaterectomy yeah no time, the harvest box is there so that you dont just keep your arms close to your body as a shield.

Very nice, good sandbox game, great effort from a solo dev but yeah I can see how the mechanics are too much for three days. My only suggestion is; make the animals a bit bigger.
Wow you made a game thats straight up cinematic in just 3 days, everything goes so well, all the mechanics are utilized and game has nice depth to it, the sound and screenshake are very effective in making you fear the sandworm. Amazing.

Rare to see new ideas in tower defense games, I will say what others have said that there needs to be a better way to show which plants are ready to harvest, also the strategy doesnt have a lot of depth you just spam the plants and hope for the best. Congrats on making a game for the first time, thats an interesting take on the theme. I chose science path cause I didn't find enough fruit lol. Like the realistic organ art, the background drawing is a bit muddy. The jump is a bit floaty and the character slides around doesn't feel great. Like the music really add to the mood.
I like the sounds these guys make, nice bit of strategy, is fishing harvesting hmmmm. Yeah a decent game would be nice to have some sort of goal to go towards, I had to make the fish extinct to see the ending.

The art is incredibly polished, really pleasing to look at and I like the sound and visual effects when you grab or place the letters. the music is not my thing but it fits the game, love the sounds. Gameplay is good too, I like the sticky letters I would have rage quit otherwise. Only possible complaint is sometimes the I and J get lost under the tray and you have to fish them out without seeing them. Also, the scoring takes a while should give an option to click to skip to the score summary. Only bad thing is the theme...it doesnt follow the theme at all, you are serving the food not delivering it. Yeah just an amazing game and I spent a good half hour on it.
Very good art, though grass is blurry. I like the music and sound effects used, fires indicating drone damage was a nice touch. Game was challenging, I think the worst part is how you cant tell the background form the things you can hit, sometimes you head straight first into what you think is just some background art but its an obstacle. Good job.

Quite nice, great work for one day. It's a simple concept but very good execution. Never really felt the need to rotate the boxes, it didnt matter much. I agree on the guy that said it could use some stickers to spice things up visual though the visuals are still good.

This is awesome, it's like a fully fleshed out game, love the dialogue with the birds, graphics presentation are really incredible, challenging but thankfully you can continue endlessly. Sadly I got stuck on the first boss it kept killing me in a loop because I always respawned in it's location and since my package kept stunning it, it didn't ever move. Awesome game.

Pretty interesting, I laughed when I sent all the cars and that sound played. Graphics are okay, like the enemies but the background image looks like a million tiny trees. Game becomes impossible after a while. Good job.

This is a good game, follows the theme well, not very innovative but otherwise good. That's a cute slime post man, I also have a mailman as a protagonist. It could use some tweaks like any other platformer but overall it's good.

@aviv-levy Yep, it's hard to refine a concept with that time, but the kick does have a cool down I just made it long, I thought the only fun part of the game is kicking birds so don't wanna make that difficult. Yeah the controls can be changed, I like the suggestion of just an automatic kick.
Great concept, love the paw scratching animation. Like others said the box drawing is quite frustrating, but otherwise the game is fun. Music and sound effects are also pretty satisfying.
What a shame it didn't get many ratings, it was a very interesting and innovative game. Enjoyed it a lot.

Yeah, it's a good concept, it's pretty complex for a jam game so I can understand your difficulties. Music fits the game well, would be nice to have some sound effects like beer filling/cash register ca ching sound. I'd suggest polishing it and seeing how it works with just the three employees before expanding it.
Desperately needs sounds, graphics are amazing, very appealing, amazing animation. I don't really know how it lines up with the theme, and a restart button would be nice, I refreshed like a dozen times. Good job, if you had an extra day of polish to add sounds could have been really amazing.

Yeah, what hasn't been said, great game. Very impressed with the difficulty curve, was perfect. Art and animations good too. The shrinking ring fit the theme but not really a big part of the game. Yeah amazing job.
Pretty fun, like the audio especially. I would have liked if you could move the passengers before they spawn, they tended to spawn in the same place. It didn't seem random. Over all pretty good.
Actually, the art is interesting, this style could work, maybe change the fly a bit. The gameplay is too simple, im not sure what to suggest to make it better, I think the fly should be smaller, it's too big for any other obstacles to be placed. Anyway good work.
Art is nice and clean, sound is good. Controls confused me a bit, I'm used to different vehicle controls. The timing of the trucks could have used a bit of balance, but it's hard to do that in a limited time. Over all it's decently fun. Good job.

It's a very interesting concept, but needs some refining, you can't really have stats and reading and this type of gameplay. And maybe instead of drag its click and drop. It's cool how it plays itself, and I think the best thing is the fairly unique art style. Good job.

Love the art, specially the tile are and the background, gameplay was alright, like the enemy variety. Game desperately needed checkpoints. It's like a really unfair nes game. I agree that the yellow blobs should only have 2hp, would make them more manageable. Overall good effort.
Simple concept done well, fits the theme nicely. Like the sounds and graphics are okay but yeah the background can be fixed. I think adding effects when you pass the finish line would be nice, like some sound or grahic effects.
Most fun game I've played so far, will give it another go later, got killed like 10 times. Yeah like the use of the theme feeds directly in to the gameplay. Sounds are good, music is a bit laid back. It's hard to make out the monster designs but it still looks decent. Great job.

Some of the best art, super polished and very stylish. Gameplay is fun but like others said it's hard to tell when a level ends, the theme I feel doesn't add too much to the game, if you are making a bigger version can remove the death circle. Music was great too really fit the game. Amazing stuff.
Like the graphics, didn't mind the scanlines, you were going for a retro look I feel. Difficulty ramped up quite quick. Yeah, just well polished complete game. Can't think of a complaint.
Yeah was decent enough, Inventory management was good, think that was how you implemented the theme, didn't feel like I ever needed the flashlight though. Maybe have the zombies make a noise when they spot you for added spookiness.
Wow, that's one of the best I've seen in the jam, a ton of polish, great graphics. Like the way the camera adjusts to keep the players in view. Hard to critic cause there are no obvious flaws. Fantastic game. Could expand it further beyond the jam for sure.
Really love the art style, best part of the game, the music loops too quickly. It's a very hard from the 2nd level onward, can be quite frustrating getting anywhere, think if you work on the movement inside the cage it can be pretty good.
Damn I tried over half a dozen times on the second level could never get the sequence in time before the spikes. Over all it's pretty great, and perfect for the theme. Music makes the mood pretty tense, i'd say only the graphics are a lil all over the place but it's still a great game.
Great game, sadly the checkpoints are spaced out too big, so I died on the last obstacle and got back really far. Otherwise it's pretty interesting, I like how you introduce new mechanics and it's strangely satisfying seeing the drone break. Wish it had sound for the jet boosters though.

Graphics 2.5/5 the character designs are directly from animal crossing right, so can't rate too highly, I like the design of the building.
Innovation 3/5 good concept but the execution of the idea drags it down.
Theme 3/5 same thing as the innovation very interesting idea but not a good execution.
Fun... and I hate to say it man but 1/5 I was confused most of the game fell off the map everywhere and when I finaly made it to the job I tried to do the sudoku puzzle and it said go home after 5 seconds. Went to my apartment fell off the map again then went back to work and this time it gave me 15seconds for the puzzle...
Mood is a 4/5 mostly cause of the chill background music.
humor 5/5 for the kermit for the way you drive the car. Overall 2.5/5 I would have liked more sudoku time.
This game is fantastic man, like a pingpong hotline miami or superhot lol, music is great really adds to the mood. Graphics are nice and clean. Great take on the theme, only thing to critique is its not very innovative but the rest of the categories you did well in.

Theme 6/5 just amazing concept you thought up as platformer that relies both on strategy and reflexes/timing. Also the sound is great and I like how the red cubes seem unhappy when they kill you. No complaints form me, great effort.
Fantastic game one of my favorites this ludum dare, theme and innovation are 5/5 really deserve to place high in theme category. Sadly I couldnt beat final boss no matter how many times I tried, after 5 times I just gave up.
Played 10 minutes and I never found a date, I think it would be better game if the responses weren't random. Good effort tho, I like the concept.
Yeah artstyle is pretty good and unique, the theme idea you have is really good but cause its a turn based racing game it feels very slow and there is three laps around the same course can get boring. Still good job on the game. I think you got your 20 votes needed.
You just buy the towers and then play match 3 section to get the bullets for the tower guys.

My biggest problem was the theme, it just feels like two games independently rather than a combined one, 95% of the time playing I was looking at the match 3 section. 2/5.
Innovation 3/5 nothing really innovative here just standard tower defense and match 3 game.
Humor 4/5 just because of the intro.
Fun 3/5 tough one to judge, I love match 3 and tower defense, but it got hard very quickly by wave 4 the monsters over ran me and I was constantly short of bullets. The tower defense section needs balancing.

Great all round game, graphics and animation are good. Sound of the punches were perfect. Surgery section is fun but only when you figure out what to do, needs some hints or tutorial. Same with the word bubble section need some basic instructions. Anyway best I could do was make it to round 8 tried a few times.

I was sceptical of how well this could work but you made a fantastic game from these two ideas. innovation 4/5 and 5/5 for the theme.
Audio 4/5 was great really fit the space shooter vibe.
Graphics 3/5 were alright just the standard ones you see in almost all shootem ups.
Fun 3/5 the controls were actually pretty good for a text game of course that slows the game down considerably and that doesnt work with a shmup. I'd have liked more hints on what to do I never figured out how to go faster and what do you type when it says where do you want to go?

Art is 5/5 fantastic art/character designs and animations, music fits well with the Japanese asthetic and mood. I like the concept and you combined two genre well the mouse minigames were more creative than the jumping though. my problems are sometimes the sushi are so close together you can't dodge any of them and you lose two lives. I also agree with the other comments the jumping feels off but I dont know exactly why.
It's incredibly polished, graphics are looking very good, sound is great and its fun to play. Great take on the theme as well. My only complainant after I won the last level it looped me back to the first one, there should be a win screen.

Graphics are simple and clean. I really like the responsiveness when you hit the wall you "juiced" it well. I got a score of ten until I realized dashing awarded more points more risky behaviour rewarded. That's good game design. You combined the genre as well as it could be done I think.
Anyway my score was 16 on vanilla, tried other game modes but they didn't add anything that made them better than good ol vanilla. Couldn't test the two player mode but that one looks fun.

Art was good and music wasnt bad, problem as everyone said controls. The jumping is very floaty and you only do a full attack while holding x not pressing it, still I never managed to hit a cannonball. My suggestion is fire the cannon when the player can see it, so that the player can react to it rather it being down to luck.
Wow absolutely amazing game, everything was great, love the art/sound style, the two genre you made them fit perfectly and its very fun to play. 5/5 overall.
Everything is great from the audio to the graphics, its very humorous. Very polished game, tho it does seem that every level takes place on the same map.

Decent art and I like the tune that plays, would be nice like kalavecy said to have a number next to the things you bought to tell you how many you bought. Maybe also place the house on the field with the tree and when you buy a new boat/house it upgrades on the tree screen. I didn't understand the dating aspect at all, you just answered yes/no and then you never see those people again or the helicopter..
Art is gorgeous probably my favorite of the games I reviewed. Great take on the theme pinball with rpg like quests is not something I would expect to ever work. The sounds I didn't like but thats just a personal prefrence, also I got stuck on the level it just kept bouncing on the house and it was impossible to progress(screenshot)

Graphics 3/5 Pretty simple graphics not much to say here would have liked more landmark buildings and not all black.
Fun 2.5/5 There are things that are fun like destroying the enemy cars and dropping off passengers and there is difficulty in navigation and also the huge difficulty spike where a dozen cars are shooting at you gets crazy.
Theme 3/5 I am certain I played games with score attack raciing and shooting almost certain, been done before but you did a good take of it.
Innovation 2/5 nothing really innovative here.

Very very polished great audio, graphics animations pretty much everything. Idea was executed well but I think these two genres dont go together at all would rather just play tetris, I guess that fits the theme lol.
Love the music, one of the best takes on the theme I've seen so far. Graphics are alright i've never seen this type of game have anything but minimalistic graphics. The problems are simple balance issues like repairing silos cost a lot should probably cost 50 same as building, massive snowball effect if things start to fail then you have already lost. As for suggestions I suggest adding upgrades like auto-collection on the buildings and maybe shields for the buildings. Good luck on getting to 20 votes.
Graphics are good add to the mood with the fog and mist around the ghosts. Like people said gameplay too basic it doesnt feel like two genre but just a shooter with a baseball skin. Anyway good work.
Love the music man. Graphics are great too with the paper cutout character and the boxes. Gameplay is fun and challenging, very polished like others said. My only criticism it doesnt fit the theme well, I have seen this type of game before and it was one genre, usually its a game like moving a robot with card instructions to get into a goal so this game is one genre not combination of two.

My funniest game I rated so far good work I like the sound the guys make when the black hole gets them, level 3 was a bit hard but I beat it, rip earth. My problem though it doesnt follow the theme that well.
It was alright, favorite part was the music. Was no challenge to the game and the art was very plain. I would suggest having moving targets or targets closer together to civilians for added challenge.
Took a bit to figure out but its pretty fun, I honestly think thats your strongest category there was a hidden layer of strategy in that game which made it fun and not mindless. Fun 3/5
Graphics 3/5 I like the look of the snail and the lettuce but the ui looks very bad.
Theme and Innovation 2.5/5 I think you executed your idea as well as you could but there wasnt really room to make anything very unique or innovative.
Overall 3/5 good effort and I missed one lettuce so couldnt get perfect run but I did beat the game.
I pretty much exclusively used shift controls to move around, it was very disorienting. Graphics are a bit plain but I like the effect when the blocks explode.
Theme 5/5 coloring book and top down shooter combined into a unique and fun game.
Audio 5/5 can't find anything wrong with audio, shotgun sound is great.
Graphics 3.5/5 mostly for that great dodge roll animations and I like the UI fits the game well.
Fun 2/5 too short to be fun, finished the game twice in 1 minute.
Innovation 3/5 standard top down shooter but the coloring book mechanic is innovative.
mood I leave blank cause I got no clue what to rate it, humor 2/5, didn't find anything funny really.
Overall a 3/5 could use some more content just keep the same enemies and gun but have more intricate patterns to fill in like letter Z or something or a cross shape.

The good: Like that ambient audio track in the background adds to the mood but no sounds for shooting, really like the graphics especially the ship design. The theme, I like it combining shooter with break out, some maze game.
The Bad: As everyone said controls, the most frustrating controls I have ever encountered on ludum dare. When you are building a game above all else make sure it controls well. Anyway I know you fixed some stuff in new build but I can only vote on the one submitted during the jam.
I really like the graphics, you can see the consistant art style across all the assets which isnt always the case for ludum dare games. Was fun for a while but then I got sad that inevitably the babies and me would die.
Only bad part I think was the theme, see I was playing an FPS today its objective was shoot guys and hold a button to lower a barrier, this game reminded me of all those objectives that happen all the the time in fps and thats one genre not two.
And finally those sounds were terrifying form the zombies and also babies crying and turning blue, but that fits the mood of the game perfectly. Well done.
This game is very strange, you did well with the audio, art was okay. It's a pretty creative idea for the theme would never have thought of that. Needed more indication of how things were going I was just clicking random things til I won.
Yeah the concept is good you can make a bigger game out of this, I also agree with the guy that said your character needs to be a different color so you can tell where he is.
Its an interesting take on the theme for sure, I like the martian background. Problem I got was it makes you prioritize making short words, if you mess about looking for longer words then chances are you will take much more damage.
Innovation 5/5 very good, Theme is 4/5 you combined two incompatible genre and they worked very well together.
Audio 3/5 I dont know if this accordion music is the best fit lol.
Fun: 3/5 it's difficult no doubt but I got the hang of it, I would have liked for the turns to be a bit faster like Olivier said. Problem is everything just takes very long to do so that reduces the fun a bit.
