Cool idea, would love to see it evolve into a roguelike sort of thing with the cute allies having abilities to protect you etc.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD46 → Keep THEM Alive

Nice to see a fellow Godot user  I liked the sprite art, especially the cute companions. I could not finish it though, because the skeletons always got one hit in before I could hit them.
So glad you kept going and were able to submit! Great job!
For one week in godot you guys did really well. We did our in Godot too. It's awesome to see what people do with a lesser known engine. The art and animations look really clean.
Well, the graphics are really well done, I have done animations in photoshop in previous jams and literally any other program will make your job easier. As for the gameplay, it seems impossible to win I tried a dozen times to beat the game but couldn't the hp is simply to low to win, also could have used hp indicator just a number on the screen would do. Obviously the fact I tried dozen times to win indicates its somewhat fun to play. Doesnt do much with the theme. And again the graphics are great, learn more coding and more about your engine and come back stronger next jam.
Characters textures and animation looked really good! and the game had a nice constant art style. The followers where cutely animated and death animations on those skeletons had a really nice pop to them. I think you had a good base game.
I experienced few crashes when I and a slime hit each other at the same time. I hp bar would have been nice but I understand that you had limited time to create features. I hope we will see a pos jam game with more polish. All the shortcomings aside, what you had time to make was great!
I like that! It's really have the potential.
I really liked the two cute companions. Some indicator of companion hp would be nice. And some sound effects as well.
Doing animations in Photoshop is not a good idea at all. That must have been a real pain in the... ;). Also: stick with Godot, you will love it, you'll see. We made our game in Godot as well :)
Glad you finished and submitted, really nice for one week experience in godot. I wish there were some sound fx, but I LOVE the graphics of characters. The companions are so cute! I could not get through the room with many skeletons and slimes though! :( :D
