It was simple, short and fun. I enjoyed the quirky animations.

It was simple, short and fun. I enjoyed the quirky animations.
Well that was quite a ride. There isnt much to say about it except that the stupid rabbit at the end was impossibly hard to beat. We got it beat eventually though. Dont really know what i spent that last 20 mins on but it was fun.
This was a lot of fun to play. I found the color change to be very rewarding when getting to the end of each level.
I think I agree with justuspan, I got stuck on the third level because I had no clue what to do after picking up the potato. It seems like a fun concept but just needs a little polish. Great job otherwise though! :)
404 I think you need to set your game to public (In the "Visibility and access" setting it defaults to "Draft". You need to set it to public so we can play.
Thank you @ausstein, We had some trouble balancing the speed of the game and how challenging it is to play. Thank you for your constructive criticism.
Thank you @skdf, I dont know why we didnt think to use the mouse as the arrow direction control. We would have preferred to have a little more time invested in testing so that its more balanced and more enjoyable. Thank you for playing. It definitely has its issues but it was fun to make!
The green pills where meant to be a way to recover health. They spawn a little to frequently so they seem almost pointless because of how fast the difficulty spikes. Thank you all for trying it out anyways.
This was an interesting take on the theme. I liked it! I found it much too difficult to be friends with any more than 5 people at once though. I might suggest trying to speed up the scrolling, as it is much to slow right now.
Thank you @ayced! I gave it another shot and that made it much easier to manange!
Very interesting take on the theme. It was enjoyable but nearly impossible to keep the baby alive. I also got pretty angry at the surgery part because I couldnt pick anything up.
Thank you all for the compliments! @mircea123, I appreciate the criticism. I felt the same way but didnt have time to put more context and purpose behind defending the monkey.
Thats a good point @jangamesdev, I'll make that change!
Fun to play and just challenging enough to make me want to keep trying when I die. I also agree that the art style looks really good
Great game! It was a blast to play and the music made it feel even more intense! I also found that shooting from the center of the screen felt odd. It would have made the shooting aspect pointless if not for the ability to just shoot out massive amounts in the hopes that they block something. Those little green suckers constantly kept me on my toes. 3 thumbs up from me!
It's a simple but very engaging idea! I enjoyed playing it! it took me a while to figure out that you could shoot the missiles though. Guess I shoulda looked at the gif a little harder
Its a fun idea but I also agree that it was hard to figure out what to do at first. After figuring out how to play even then, it quickly became unmanagable. Its fun, but the difficulty picks up too fast.
Really cool idea but I have to agree with HungryCatGames. Very difficult and not super clear on where Im supposed to be going. Looks and sounds really cool though!
Wow, I really should've read the comments first. I shot sooooo many stars into the gap with the arrow before I realized I was supposed to keep shooting the hourglass. I almost gave up but I'm glad I didnt. Really well polished! very fun to play.
Wow! Cool take on the theme! It felt just hard enough to tease you for a second which made it that much more rewarding when you figured it out. I made it to the blue button! Fun game.
WOW! This is definitely my favorite game so far! It was such a good story and I had to finish to see what would happen next! I was not expecting that ending. Everything worked as expected for me. No bugs and very polished game! 10/10
Simple controls but very fun nonetheless! It was just challenging enough to keep me engaged but still hard enough that I wasnt able to win. XD
@protocap Thank you for that suggestion. The bullets are pretty hard to see sometimes. We hadnt thought of knockback either. Great Idea!
@ismael-rodriguez While we appreciate the feedback, it was mentioned in the narrative that we intended to increase difficulty over time. We didnt want to make a game where we had to create levels, so an arcade style game with ever increasing difficulty was our goal. Your game was great by the way! It all fit together very well.
Thank you @gamechoy! We do want to continue with it because there's so much more that we want to add. We hadn't thought of giving the enemies silhouettes! That's a great idea to add to our growing list! Thank you for suggesting and for playing.
This is an interesting take on the theme. Nice job!
Cool game. I really enjoyed the art style and you really hit the nail on the head with simulating a hardcore grind. I got stuck on the music question because after getting it wrong the first time and waiting for the song to end, no buttons ever showed up and I just sat there in silence for a few minutes before giving up.
Wow. This was really polished! I agree with Quak that the difficulty ramps up quite fast though. I also found that when you miss one beat it prevents your movement for a second which is just enough to cause a chain reaction of missed beats. That was quite frustrating, but otherwise this is really fun!
Cool idea. I found myself trying different orders until I found one that worked for me. Unfortunately by that time I had already missed two days of work. I'm such a bad employee!
Fun Game! No complaints here. I thought I'd add this image so you could see where the octopus gets stuck. DeleteThis.PNG
Wow! The art style was really cool. After seeing the tavern guy at the beginning I was not expecting it and was pleasantly surprised. I had a hard time telling who was taking damage when using the sword so I stuck with arrows until I ran out. Then I died. It was real fun!
At first I was thinking, "What am I supposed to be doing?" but then ten minutes later I stopped and thought to myself "What am I doing with my life?". Despite its lack of content it still kept my simple brain entertained. Thank you for making this.
That squid can get some crazy air! I had a lot of fun playing this. My favorite thing to do was to fill up on all the trash I could carry and try to dump it on that dirty old boater all at once! Thanks for sharing this!
I had to come back to the comments for help on the scanner and that last one almost got me. No worries though, I'm a confirmed human! I'm clearly not the smartest human because it took me until the third floor before I realized I could rotate my camera by holding the mouse button down. Although learning the controls was half the battle, this was an interesting take on the theme. Nice game!
If you @ me I'll give it a go as well.
This is a really cool idea! Even if you didn't get to finish everything you wanted to it is still really clean and well done. If I had any criticism it would be the unforgiving edge detection. You don't always feel like you'd fall off the edge when it resets. It would be nice if it waited for you to fall first so it at least feels like you've got an opportunity to recover.
Wow! Seems to be a common thread among the comments but the music was great and felt like a perfect match for the gameplay and the art. It was really fun trying to catch crewmates and was cool that it limited your ability to steer. I also enjoyed how one of the guys I picked up ended up holding the plane together by just hanging onto the bird! XD
Thank you @sabine! @breadliner did an excellent job on the character designs. Thank you for playing
@tiberiusuciu That is a very fair point. Thank you for the feedback.
This looks really good! Not to sound like a broken record but I agree that a jump would make all the difference.
The art looks great, the riddles were creative but my favorite part...the trolls voice!
This looks cool. Let me know if you get the web version working and I'll give it another shot.
I was also using Chrome. I'll give it a go on another browser after work.
What an interesting idea. I initially was just speed clicking at random but quickly realized a more intentional strategy was much more effective. I also made a twist on traditional breakout if you feel like trying it. Not as good as yours but was still fun to make.
Wow! What a stressful game! Good thing I'm only playing a game and not not doing this in real life ;) Anyways...this was a fun concept and executed very well! I especially loved the sound design. It all felt very fitting and polished. Good game!
Wow. This is a cute game! It was all very well done but I have to say @starling, that sound design is **on point**! Very impressive.
@forgin-bits yeah, I had a few game-interrupting bugs so I had to add in the forfeit button XD. Thanks for playing and rating! I'll try out yours when I get home from work.
Yeah. I wasnt quite sure how to handle the horizontal bug in the time I had left to finish so I added in that forfeit button as a place holder. Getting stuck in a hole and having to either wait it out or quit is also quite annoying so I agree with you there @aderpychickenstudios. Im glad you found the ascension bug but I prefer to thing of it as a ***feature***
Wow! I'm really quite impressed @corrupt-spaghetti that you were able to get up there! Most of those scores were put there by my playtester before all the functionality was built in. Kudos to you for surpassing him!
Thank you for pointing that out @edward-dassmesser I should put in a more obvious plug for dreamlo. It's a really cool service!
An interesting idea for sure. I found it really confusing at first because all the champions pile on top of each other in the center. But if you only do one or two at a time then you can almost tell whats happening. Could be a great time with a little more polish.
The **inevitable force of gravity** was too much for me to handle! This is a really fun idea though regardless of my *inability* to ***"hack"*** the ***"sack"*** for very long  I especially loved the record scratch music. Im sending this to a friend of mine right now who would love it. Thank you for the great submission!
Ah man! You got me beat. I could only get to 111! 1 swipe short of the creator! Nicely done!
This is such a fun idea! The first time through everything got me because I didnt understand what I was doing but by the second time through I was a lot better. In the end I almost always got beat by save the candles. You never know which one of those suckers was gonna go next! I made it on the leaderboard even if only for a little bit.
Wow! This is a lot of fun! I had to keep playing until everything was unlocked. Thank you for making this! Screenshot 2022-10-05 074254.png
It started off pretty slow and I was thinking ah I'll just give it a minute or two and rate but before I knew it I had a whole tree and many tangled roots. Nice job with this entry! It was surprisingly addictive!Screenshot 2022-10-05 074254.png
Thank you all for the great feedback!
@tofucat - I tried really hard for so long to get the gameplay loop to work without it but ended up having to hard code the reset to make it playable 😭😭
@koolruz @cody-holt Yes it seems we could've made it a little more clear that there was no end to the loop. Initially we had hoped to have a timer and score aspect to the game but ran short on time.
Regardless, thank you both for the feedback!
Before reading your description I had no idea what to do and just clicked around but it made more sense the initial attempt. It's an interesting idea and a pretty nice product for working by yourself. I agree that the music was a little repetitive but overall a good little game. Heres a screenshot of my initial clowning around. Screenshot 2023-10-14 181539.png
This was an interesting game. It was fun exploring the different strategies and eventually I found one I liked. Half the map was for resource generation and the other was for the houses when they showed up. Good game.
@slavturtle - Thats my bad for forgetting to add the controls! Left shift picks up the crystals! Thank you for your feedback nonetheless.
@laniph - We were heavily inspired by DigDug which is one my personal favorites. Thank you for playing!
@dreamcastgh0st Sincerely appreciate the constructive, well thought out feedback, as it showed you really considered how we could improve in the future. It was great to read as well simply because it affirmed a lot of the lessons we felt were learned from the experience overall. Thank you for investing your time into trying our game!
The sound effects and music are very fun and make squishing the roaches quite satisfying! It would've been nice to be able to reset individual levels though, since I had to restart the game a couple times when not all the squished bugs registered. Nice submission!
@destroyertech Thank you for your ideas! There was originally supposed to be a win condition where you just explode after eating enough but I unfortunately didn't have the time to implement it. The second note is related to a bug in the spawning  . There should be no shortage of candies running around but they dont seem to want to spawn in as they should.
Ayyy Leon makes another appearance! He's got his egg and I've got a new card. Nice submission!
Help! I cant get out!! Screenshot 2024-10-21 184712.png
Upgrading the houses did not have a good ROI  The whole field was full of water leaves for like 10 houses. Nice submission!
I enjoyed the leveling up and it was satisfying to eat something to 100%. It was pretty frustrating how often the cordyceps showed up so maybe a little bit of variation or a longer delay would make it less grating. Overall great submission!
I've never been so scared of a bell before.
@pandalk there was intention for the level to involve sliding under obstacles using the crouch mechanic, but time became too much of a constraint.
We also wanted to implement an increasing difficulty curve but had to go for a middle of the road static difficulty instead. 🤷♂️
Level 2 is driving me insane. The big poop does not roll into the right position and I feel stupid...please...please for the love of all that is holy...help me help my family!
