Really fun! I've always liked these healing type games. My only two complaints are that the health bars should be above the actual characters since you are healing via a skill shot and the screen shake was too strong.
Liked the game, the flashing was a bit too much though.
Really funny. Probably not a good idea to make spam clicking the only mechanic though.
God tier audio
Like the look.
Space games rock!
Looks really cool, but requiring another player during a quarantine + only controller support puts up too many barriers for players to experience your game.
Awesome game! Space games are my favorite. I like how you made a game about not having to shoot anything.
Really fun and creative!
Looks really cool! Wish there was a web export though.
Beautiful!
I like the tile outlines.
My fish died and I barely walked a meter, I think I'm playing it wrong!
After I clicked play, I was stuck on the tutorial message.
Thats a big team! How do you handle doing a 3 day project with 10 people?
Great animations!
Cute! I laughed at the snake game, haha.
I have no idea what to do!
Like the colors.
Very neat idea. When you nailed a verse, it would have been nice to get some audio feedback. I felt like the audience just wasn't appreciating my stories that much.
Love those room transitions!
The camera shake was way too strong. I couldn't play long because of it. Really like the art and concept though.
Pretty good, I wish the difficulty increased faster though.
Great art!
Fun game! It would be nice to have w a s d movement and jumping using spacebar though. My arrows on my laptop are really small.
That is one majestic unicorn!
It rained!
I always like games that show the controls in-game!
The art is fantastic!
I liked the voice over for the tutorial, nice touch! But after how to control your drone, the tutorial didn't advance. So I'm not sure how to play the game!
Really creative use of chess pieces!
I had a hard time passing lvl 2. Maybe put a few more easier levels to get people rolling at the beginning.
Fun game!
I was a little scared the first time I heard the ghost and quickly went under the bench!
Love space games!
The eyes weren't so scary after I learned they weren't attached to anything :)
Interesting idea! It was super hard trying to get the stars in though, not sure if I was playing it right.
I needed a good pigeon shooter today, thanks.
Liked the art!
Love space games!
I like how the dog cheers me on.
Looks cool, no html5 option though? :(
Bonus points for having your kids involved!
I liked the graphics, but couldn't play long due to the constant screen flashing. Turn down the opacity of the flashes, they can still be great feedback when they are subtle.
Really great atmosphere, love the text audio and the randomized answers you can get when you interact with things. I really liked just going around and seeing all the things I can interact with!
Really interesting graphics and how the arena morphs around. Amazing effects as well. One thing I didn't like was the music, it was sad. Sad music while blasting blobs with a turret? Doesn't make any sense! Great job though.
Songs were great, animations were fun! It took me a bit to figure out I'm the guy on the right. Also, the difficulty spike between the first and second song is huge. I almost never play rhythm games so I could only manage the first song, still loved the game though.
I got myself a chicken dinner! Loved the game, fun concept, good progression. I didn't realize I was wielding a pulse laser until level 3, which was a nice surprise. The pulse laser graphic is fantastic, which made it really fun to use.
In the later levels, it was a little frustrating not knowing which dot you can collide with, you basically have to die on each of them to learn. Also it was hard to plan your shots in later levels when the path became pretty big and criss-crossy, due to the animation.
Interesting game. I enjoyed playing it, but it would have been nice to have more variety, randomized encounters, and a chance of a really difficult fight at the beginning to keep you paying attention to the text.
I really liked the concept, no hand holding exploration, just like the olden days. I quickly gave up though since the whole map seems to have only have generic block buildings and the only landmark is a park, which made it much harder to understand the layout of everything.
The dude graphics are ridiculous and I absolutely love it.
I really like the spider graphics and animations. Also, a huge fan of 1 button controls, especially in game jams.
The dudes who make frog games gotta stick together, easy 5.0 ratings down the line.
The character doing different poses on each node really adds a lot of character to the game, well done!
God-tier main menu screen, very creative.
Thanks for the feedback so far. I ended up taking out the mechanic that kills you if you drift too long, that should make the game a lot easier to understand!
@namnam Nice! Yeah, I originally had a mechanic that forced you to keep moving around but ended up taking it out in an effort to make the game easier to play and understand.
@doot Thanks for the feedback! Originally I uploaded the game with a mechanic that kills you if you don't move after a while. I didn't have any feedback for "why" you died other than a snippet on the home screen saying that you have to keep moving. The first ~10ish reviews kept saying they had no idea why they were dying, then I took it out. Easy to game the system that way but at least people are beating the levels :D
I loved the warped effect on the whole screen. How'd you do it?
@beavergames Oh nice! Can you share a link to it?
Great game! Loved the graphics, and sound effects. I always enjoy a good cooking game. I liked having to stir the soup. It really does add to the game when you have an extra element you have to do besides drag n drop the ingredients into the pot.
With that said, I do feel that game would have been more exciting gameplay wise if you had multiple customers at the same time where you have to micromanage who you serve first based on their wait time and recipe difficulty. Most cooking games I have played without any micromanagement mechanics tends to get boring a lot more quickly.
Great game! It was a nice change of pace to play a nice wholesome game with some emotional depth to it. Definitely felt like this is someone's real story they are trying to tell. Thanks for sharing!
I liked the concept, could have used some music to encourage more play! Really neat having to consider every shot you take since if you miss, you might as well have let an enemy reach the middle.
I love cooking games! The visuals and sound effects were top notch!
Great look to the game, also animations were smooth, making it fun to click the buttons. The game would vastly improve with same music and SFX though.
Great game! The mechanics were really interesting and fun. Never seen anything like it before. When moving back and forth, it does get a bit jarring with the camera movements though.
Great game! I liked the Y axis movement and sending projectiles back. That made for some interesting gameplay moments where I waited to attack so I could send the projectile back and hit the melee enemies at the same time. Art style was great as well!

LIES!!!
Nice game, only suggestion I'd make is that the UI on the top right is HUUUGEEE which definitely distracted me.
Very interesting mechanic, possession! Don't see that often!
I like you made your game feel deep and dark while having the main play area pretty bright and easy to see. Great choices of color!
Such a funny game! I wish Digr was real!
Very cute graphics. Great animations. I liked the in-game combat which makes the digging more dynamic. And a skill tree?! Nice!
Great game! The sub felt great to control and the controls felt very well done, perfect speed and rotation. What was your strategy for spawning things infinitely the deeper you go? It was the first time I tried something like that so I'm curious about other solutions.
My only suggestion is that the sub should be positioned more towards the top of the camera since you are only going in one direction.
Fun shooter, great graphics and effects. I'd recommend having faster transition times and reduce the tilt when moving left and right. Otherwise, fun stuff!
Fun descriptive game, Gert served me well!
Great game! I loved how the movement felt and being able to jump "down". I liked how the bullets just disabled enemies, making them still be there when you backtrack.
One bug I found, after finishing a level, it brought me back to the menu screen, and when I tried to select the last level that said unfinished, it gave me a black screen.
Great visuals, and this is the first jam game I've played with on-going dialogue between characters which made me smile. I liked the mechanics as well. Great job!
Ah, trying not to die while delivering pizza. A common problem.
Fun game, would benefit greatly from having music and SFX though. Controls are confusing with no tutorial.
Pretty fun game, very relaxing. One suggestion is that the menu text is white text on-top of light colored clouds, making it very hard to see!
@bionikmonster I saw that, I'm impressed!
@exiled-burger Thanks! Yeah, sonar charges can help see any dead routes.
@amar-ravi Thanks! I originally intended to have moving enemies, but the game turned more into a mass mine field where anything that moved dynamically would be way too hard.
@mamon You can move up if you turn, you just can't move backwards.
@jaiden-gerig Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, you'll be able to see almost all mines with the sonar charge, but the real challenge is being able to decipher and remember a safe path to take!
Bonus points for putting the control directions in-game, that's a great idea for a jam game. I liked entering the next level through the monster's mouth, very creative!
One suggestion I'd make is that the enemies shouldn't shoot projectiles at you off-screen. I initially only saw the projectiles and I thought those were the "oil monsters", and was confused why I couldn't hit them. Creative idea though!
Hilarious game! As soon as I started driving him, I burst out laughing. And I liked when I get the focused mind boost with the chanting sound effects haha.
Very juicy! I liked the mechanics and the art style. Did i mention the JUICE?
Haha, great twist! Drilling for ingredients, really creative. Nice work.
Great game! I loved the attention to detail you put into the intro, I always love when people include voice over work! And the camera pans to different game states was great as well.
I did find it a little too difficult at first. I died twice right off the bat before I understood what I was doing which made it a little frustration since I couldn't get back to playing immediately from all the transitions and button clicks.
Also, the sonar mechanic I could use constantly. It would have been more interesting if there was a way I could gain charges or if there was a cooldown to it.
Overall great work!
Character was hard to control but I liked the concept. Also, spearing a fish and then surfing on the ocean floor was AWESOME!!!
Fun game, I liked the music and the movement was smooth. I also made a game about a sub avoiding mines, great minds think alike ;)
Love the dynamic music! I was so surprised when the music picked up and then an enemy started blasting me. Controls felt great, good aesthetic to the game.
My only suggestion is that when clicking on the how to play button, you present a giant wall of text in the same font color, same size. No one has time for that! It's better to give info in bits and pieces during the gameplay if there's more to digest than just the controls.
This is great! One of my favorites so far. Music and art is great. The gameplay is fun. Letting your guys fight and conquer new buildings before trying to add more was a fun choice. Although I was confused as what the land with non-building graphics on them did since there was no resource counter.
Extremely hard but fun to try and master the jump!
Haha, loved this! You set the mood up perfectly, the errors were funny, even a game within a game! Great aesthetics too.
I liked how you taught the controls through dialogue in-game, muchhhh better than menu screen wall-of-text, even though I wasn't moving my character as I read it! Signs were funny and loved the lamp-post checkpoint idea.
Really fun game! It would have been much better if you made the first 10-20 seconds a lot easier, cause even after the tut, I was dying within 5-10 seconds which made the game too frustrating since I didn't feel like I was accomplishing anything.
Loved the mechanics and transitions. The game end transition could have been sped up 3-4x times to make things snappier since it's a game where you die a lotttt. Great work!
I like how the text for your speed rotates based off your turning, gives you even more feedback on what your car is doing. Fun Game!
Great game! Graphics and audio were great. It felt like the days of playing oregon trail! UI was great, I loved learning little bits as the game progresses, rather than being slapped with all the rules at the beginning. The choices were fun. I did get stuck in the canyons though, I thought it will eventually end but I lost everything!
I think your idea is great and with some modifications it could be amazing. Since you are using elements, it would have been cool to have enemies where only a certain element works on them. For what I've seen so far, everything works on anything, which took out all strategy. Also, I didn't feel like I needed to do any specific combination, so I just button mashed. If you could add some strategy and prevent button mashing from being effective, this could be a very fun game!
I like these arena style games. The concept is pretty cool, I also really enjoyed the countdown text glow for some reason haha. It didn't feel that good being hit / shooting and destroying things though.
Love the graphics and a fun tower defense game! The two notches towards the end doesn't have collision which killed my strategy for blocking them!
Really fun and juicy! I like the shoot to move mechanic. My only complaint is to introduce obstacles a little slower, like being able to pass the level with the laser field easily and know what it does rather than having a semi-difficult level with it right off the bat.
Interesting idea! Anything using lasers I'm all for. I would definitely add some feedback when the ships are being hit and such. When I was first playing it I wasn't sure if it was even damaging anything!
Great style, I liked trying to pick up all the bouncing plushies :) I think it would benefit to have some initial on-screen controls or allowing any key to progress the text at the beginning.
Very chill game! It was fun to just fly around and dive in and out of the water. The plane was a little hard to control though.
Wow, those graphics are sweeeeet! Would really love to have some music / sfx though!
Fun game! I found it hard to control both of the paddles by myself, this seems like it would be a lot more fun with a friend. Could definitely benefit from some music!
Woah, it has an intro sequence! I think the concept is really fun, and like others have said, I was confused as to what I was actually doing other than mixing random things together. Great style and presentation!
@firebelley Haha, I saw that! how'd you do it? I'm guessing the high score variable is exposed in the web build?
@paragonraptors Yeah, it took me the first 2 days just to finish the basic gameplay without any theme elemtents! Could always add lots more in space games.
@cakestorm Thanks! I used dreamlo - http://dreamlo.com/
@wafflecomposite Very nice! Let's see how long you maintain your position on the boards :)
@mhorth Very impressive! I was beginning to think no one could beat Malevolent Octopus!
Great game! I loved building up my army of animals and having them follow me. I felt like a very powerful and affluent farmer! The lasso mechanic was fun. I would have liked to see some feedback on the animals when you have to lasso them more than once other than the health bar. Great job!
The symbols looks really cool, did you base them off anything or did you randomly come up with them?
I just love games that teach you how to play DURING the game. Gameplay was fun, I enjoyed the block mechanic and throwing, although I found the control scheme to be awkward. Great game!
The healing mechanic really makes the game. Really adds an extra layer of strategy that keeps the game fun because you are always making choices.
Looks good but the game would benefit from some sound and a tutorial!
Really neat idea! I love arena style games and this fit the theme perfectly. I was grinning when I realized the enemies were weights! I wasn't a big fan of when the table would tip and you would lose your view of everything, which made it impossible to prevent your imminent doom.
Love the VO! I'm not a big fun of being presented with a full-page controls instructions. Would be much better if you learn as you play!
I couldn't help but grin while playing! Love the style and sound effects, very polished as well!
The car being able to jump plus that SFX - hilarious! I liked the gameplay a lot but I wish there were easier and shorter levels at the beginning. The difficulty goes from 1 to 8 in the first 2 levels. Also, since you'll be falling or losing all the crates A LOT, it would have been really nice to have a very quick transition back to the start without having to click anything.
Overall, great game!
Wait... you can have a loading screen before the unity logo appears? How?
Really charming game! I was surprised how long the dialogues were, nice work! One thing I wasn't a big fan of were the dialogue bubbles always resizing, I feel like it would be less jarring if the text was at the bottom of the screen. Nice job!
Interesting mechanic! I did enjoy hauling planets around. The mini-map wasn't working for me so I got lost a bunch of times and colliding with the edge was kinda jarring. Chill game.
I died like 10 times before I understood how to control the ship haha! But the hard controls really made the game fun, nice work!
The mode switching gives a nice little twist, challenging at first but eventually it the switching becomes natural, nice work!
I never play horror games and I really liked this! I actually was really scared, and would always being turning my light on when approaching doors. How is that thing sooooo scary with no noise?! The controls were a bit awkward though. Also, it's easy go back where you came from accidentally.
So far my favorite game I've played!
Love the aesthetics! Great UI work too
yarrrrrrr! That was fun! Running across rocking pirate ships as peter pan was not something I thought I needed to do until now. One thing though is the footsteps are quite annoying, takes away from the ambience that you set up a little.
