Pretty fun to play. the controls are a bit confusing.
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD48 → Beyond the Chromatic Arc

Pretty fun to play. the controls are a bit confusing.
Love the idea of the game. I got over 150 polygons from home on my first attempt ^^ I hope that's a good start O.o
Very fun! This would be a great mobile game. It would be even better if you added audio.
Nice concept for a game that fits well with the theme! I feel like the thrust towards the cursor is so small that it doesn't feel like I have that much control. Also, for this particular control mechanism, it feels like the cursor should be visible so that it's easier to change the orientation. As is, it's hard to tell whether I'm near the center (and thus only need to make a small movement to change direction) or towards the edge (and so need a larger movement). And when the cursor goes outside of the window, the clicks can't be detected so teleport won't work. But I like the upgrade system and feel like there's good potential here.
Fun game, would benefit greatly from having music and SFX though. Controls are confusing with no tutorial.
Good idea for a game, and quite nice graphics. You should not hide curor just leave it visible but overall good job!
150! I played for some time, It was very relaxing and stresfull at once :D I like the procedural map creation. God job! The graphics is simple but it has "that thing".
Would be cool if you could find the upgrades throughout the world and not just do 1000 attemts and buy all of them.
Really enjoyed the game tho :)
Interesting idea ! I had a bit of trouble understanding the controls though. At first it appears that the mouse has very little effect over the ship and since I hadn't understood there was gravity I just thought there was a bug when my ship was suddenly moving toward a planet. Also i feel like teleporting should teleport where the mouse is and not just in front of the ship. All in all, whith some audio and a bit more tweaking of the control this could be a really addictive game. Good job !
Game looks fun but how do you land? I saw on the video that you can stick to disks but trying this end the game. I agree with others that the cursor display would help. Interresting idea and well made overall.
@gaming-night To land, you need to upgrade your launchlimit.
Not really sure how to play this game. I just ended up launching in a random direction, trying to go as far as possible without hitting a planet and will get lots of chroma, but not sure what else to do. Every time I hit a circle the run ends. I don't bounce to the next planet like shown in the graphics.
@collin-visser Try upgrading your number of launches with your earned chroma to be able to land and take off multiple times in a run.
I found the game kinda funny :-) As someone said this could be a nice smartphone game. I felt it a bit random at the beginning since you can't control the rectangle so I let him play by himself for few hours with the help of a little macro then I upgraded the Teleport CD to 0.5s and the Number of lauches to 30 trying to get rid of that randomness... guess what? Was super funny to play with!! I'll leave you my stats and a little video of the 500+ polygons on a single trip:

Hope you can reach 20 ratings because you deserve it :-) keep up with the good work!
@viperux Wow, that's impressive. Thanks for the effort you put into testing our game and even making a video out of it.
fun game, but what did the upgrade bonus do? i pushed it to 100%, but it passed it
@newrybenson The upgrade bonus just increases all future chroma gain to compensate a bit for the exponential cost of the upgrades.
i played many games of this kind, if you get the incremental ramp right this could be a really popular game. Well done
Pretty fun, once I got the hang of it anyway. If there's one thing I'd change, it would probably be to add a mini-map or something, it might make it feel a bit less random. Still, overall, great job!
