concept is nothing new,but polish and realization is way above most of the ludum dare entries,certainly one of the best. It shows that many talented people worked on this.
maybe next time risk a bit more and go for unusual gameplay and get closer to the theme.

it's fun! controls need to be a bit more responsive and scenery is pretty empty but the humor is there
Arrows remind me of crazy taxi
i always loved the idea of using circuitery for gameplay,but the rest of the game is a bit too confusing. There are many bugs (getting stuck in walls,buttons not working properly etc)
the tiles are repeating way too much and it's easy to get lost because of that (is it as intended?)

sometimes the animation gets stuck. The moving light works fine and is a good base concept.

this means a lot to me,i spent almost all my wake hours trying to get this to work.
about the mechanics: I wanted to add so many things! weights,food and hunger bar,an ending were you wave goodbye to your creature,selectable colors, ECT ECT.
about the bugs: i know about them , i just had to compromise and fix what i could before dropping asleep on the pc.

@steven-c jumping is just a little push with random vertical and horizontal forces( balanced in order to be challenging to keep it in the middle but not frustrating to just let it jump out) @chickencastle I REALLY DIDN'T EXPECT PEOPLE TO PLAY THIS LONNNNNGGG haha
level 100 is the super secret ending were you are prod of your baby an it flies away (no i'm kidding didn't manage to program it)

I see many games about eggs in the entries,maybe because it's something simple and fragile,ideal to keep alive
added some mobile support in the fixed version ( just touch left or right part of the screen to rotate)
the flame mechanic is fun! finding the gasoline was a nice surprise.
With some more engaging core loop and a more polished art style it could be a good stand-alone game.

Concept is clever,reminds me of "Into the breach". Buuut the game is not working properly,sometimes they shoot from behinds,sometimes they keep turning. But the animation is great and with some polish it can be really good
The mood is spot on. The struggle is real :D characters remind me of "madness combat" and other old newgrounds games and animation
maybe ui elements should be indipendent from zoom

was clicking like a madman. screen shake was a bit extreme but i enjoyed the game. Well done
as soon as i saw the theme i knew i was about to play some Motherload like games :D
the sfx of digging is pretty hard on the ears but everything else was good enough to have some fun and keep me hooked.

you tried mixing different concepts but the result is not very good,maybe next time focus on getting even less things working but getting them right... you have to spam clicks in a not pleasant way, moving and dodging feels weird,particles of the pickups face the way you are looking and is a bit confusing.
i wandered a bit too much without knowing what to do, the encounters are a bit too slow to keep my attention but maybe it's just me.
it's a good entry, a very original one. Good job

Wow, such an interesting concept! I like the simple art style, it fits the game really well. The gameplay seems a little tedious, the money goes up quite slowly and there is not much to do. It probably ramps up later in the game, but I think it would be better if there was a bit more pressure (or things to do) from the start. Saving people is at times frustrating, since you need to land exactly on top (also the first time I was afraid I would just crush them). That said, I think the idea has potential, so I'd try and improve on it after the jam!

The battle system seems intresting but i got really bored on the second fight

@stefan-funke that's the worst bug we found after release. WE can't reproduce it, tried many ways. Bad thing to discover a couple hours before the deadline.

This game is simply brilliant in its simplicity! The idea of an inevitable prophecy fits the theme incredibly well and the source material was a perfect choice. Tanta stima!
Interesting concept. I liked the idea of using a negative counter for time until death. The choice between drink and throw is nice, even though maybe not as meaningful as it could be - but being a jam game it is very good!
trying to guess the right strategy is fun, that's a great dynamic to have in a game. Good job

Nice atmosphere, you managed to convoy well the melancholy through art and music. The gameplay is a bit too simplistic but the overall experience is very pleasant.
The causes of death were hilarious! Fun game, even though the gameplay would benefit from more variety.
The art and sound are just so amusing, they add a lot of character to the game! It was really fun to play.
Interesting idea, but the player interactions were not very clear and I couldn't understand their effects. That said, making a rhythm game is quite difficult.
it's really fun to drop and push bombs ^^ i'd explore that in another game

seems juicy and decent fun but i had to stop playing after 30 seconds becouse of bad screenshake-nausea :(
