LD46 — Keep it alive

Insect Infestation by schizoid2k 2020-04-21T14:26:58Z

Nice job! constructive feedback: Maybe the ants should go straight for the house instead of the player? That's the only thing I could think of! Overall good project!

The art was nice and the game was intuitive to pick up. The sound effects were catchy too (and some funny, ants!) You may want to rate some other games to increase your exposure on the front page smart filter! I think you can get some good ratings!

By the Sword by wilsk 2020-04-21T12:59:07Z

Great job, getting multiple players in sync in a browser is a something I wish I knew how to do! One suggestion for improvement -- why not allow players to see their cards or something when the other player is spending popularity, right now it looks like it just says "waiting for players..." which could be confusing as to what is going on. Overall though this should pass quickly so not that big of a deal, mostly a polish thing. Overall great project and the bit of art that is there is nice ;)

The Lost of Nix by Tygrak 2020-04-20T23:06:36Z

Nice job! It was a little dark to see, but making it full screen helped a lot. I was a little confused at how to attack the first round because I somehow got distracted when that prompt showed up. But saw it second time playing. Nice music and guitar playing, really sets the mode and matches its overall dark theme. Battle music was pretty sweet. Thanks for making it accessible via html!

Keep Clam Stary Home by Seagull 2020-04-20T15:28:01Z

Hey! Great job on getting it done. Some constructive feedback: I think regardless of the level I chose, I could win by just staying in 2 lanes. There was never a need to use the other lanes as the obstacles never stacked up beside each other.

But overall good job. It was fun bouncing between the obstacles(infected people?), I think the locked lane positions made it much funner than if they had be smoother float positions.

Root Defence by boddiul 2020-04-21T14:21:10Z

This is a super unique idea! I like it. Creating a web of roots under the ground was fun :) You should review some more games to increase this games exposure on the main site! I think this game can get some good ratings, it is better than a lot out there! Great job!

The Cat's Journey by magnusfurcifer 2020-04-20T13:09:19Z

Great job! I found an exploit if you can get two trashcans next to each other you can slingshot the cat forward super fast haha.

Human Spiderweb by miziziziz 2020-04-20T18:55:58Z

Great job man! A little disturbing lol, but unique idea! I think godot has the ability to output to html? I would have preferred browser accessible version.

Morituri Combonaturi by TheOZoneBE 2020-04-20T18:18:48Z

Thanks for making it web accessible :)

Grove by doodlebrisk 2020-04-20T18:58:15Z

A happy place game! :) I was a little confused as to why my plant was shrinking when I was watering it (I think I gave it too much water?). Also had to refer back to this page to see that spacebar gets me out of watering the plant. Other than those things, this is an awesome project. Thanks for sharing! <3 the models btw. How was the water particles done if you don't mind me asking? (the little spheres)

Mark by Corny 2020-04-20T19:42:05Z

Thanks for HTML5 version.

constructive feedback: I picked up a rock and threw it to the ground, went down there to pick it back up to throw it and it killed me after picking it up (not sure if I dropped it immediately or what).

positive feedback: I liked the theme! Clever how you made the colors change and music pick up after I engaged the first one. That kept the energy up! Good sound effects and animations. Overall a great project! Awesome work.

Lily vs. the Swarm by Coda Highland 2020-04-21T13:45:02Z

Great job! constructive feedback: I was a little confused at first that when I would destroy a minion the green thigns flying at my were not projectiles. Super minor though. I liked the music and artwork! Great job! You should rate some games to increase you games exposure on the main page filters!

Server Simulator by codinghusi 2020-04-21T13:58:16Z

Interesting concept! Do you work in this industry? Seems like knowledge that not everyone posses. (Btw you may want to review some games to increase you game's exposure on the main page smart filter)

For Ducks' Sake by GaryS 2020-04-23T15:28:59Z

Cute game, only thing I would add is to have the projects follow the vector from your character to your mouse rather than fixed paths.

The Blobbysitter by jbasinger 2020-04-20T04:05:24Z

Lol man, I think I'm going to take your approach with sound next time. The humor made the game. :) Great job!

Mutiny by Cataractar 2020-04-21T11:47:33Z

Interesting mechanics! I found having more sailors actually made it a bit harder to manage, next time I'll strategize not to buy new sailors at every port! Graphics were great. I wanted more bunks to recharge my sailors, but that may have made the game too easy. Overall a well balanced game, one of the better and funner ones I have seen so far!

Pennywise Crossing by kromeboy 2020-04-20T03:43:23Z

Great job on the visuals! I'm wondering how it is done XD. I noticed a bug if you go around the entire world, sometimes the camera seems to flip. Wasn't bad or anything, perhaps intentional? Anyways great job and thanks for making it available on the web!

Herb! by Swordfish 2020-04-20T03:27:38Z

Dude, that is dope. The sounds of the deer made me lol. Leaving you a positive review!

Fox Life by ravenousgames 2020-04-21T14:48:50Z

Cute little game. I really like the models! Great job!

You may want to review a few games to increase your game's exposure on the front page smart filter!

Life On Mars by Yorsh 2020-04-20T16:21:30Z

Played the HTML version and honestly I didn't notice any graphics issues you mentioned? Regardless this is funny! I never thought about how absurd it would be to expect one of those rovers to be able to find life if the life didn't want it to see it. Audio was hilarious! That static sound behind the voice was nice too, unlike some games where it is harsh to hear that was actually very easy on the ears. Great job overall

Max Party - Party Planner To The Stars by TheOtherSamP 2020-04-21T13:41:41Z

This one is actually one of the best games I've seen so far. It is very fun and relaxing. Also cool synth+piano music. :) You should leave some ratings on other games to get more exposure! Anyways, great job with your game!

Guardian of the Seas by UberPuPy 2020-04-22T17:50:13Z

Create job! Constructive feedback: the music got a little tiresome with all the high frequencies. Positive feedback: was easy to understand and pickup! Cool idea about capturing people and bringing them back to the dock. :) I think there may be a bug where you can interact with the hospital/jail/etc when you don't have anyone to deposit.

Soul Blazer by Lukas TAMAYO 2020-04-21T01:14:29Z

Concept seems cool, but I got a little stuck. Nevertheless cool project!

edit: oh I figured it out. If anyone else gets stuck you need to hold the fire next to the hand-print on the wall and it will turn red and it will open a passage.

Great project!

Double AA by fakeyou 2020-04-20T18:04:15Z

Unique idea! Great job on the graphics too. The battery rolling was well done. :)

BLOOM ETERNAL by samboyer276 2020-04-22T18:00:04Z

Great job! Took my way to long to figure out how to shoot (that's on me for not reading lol).

constructive feedback: if I were to change anything, I wouldn't make the health bars a bit easier to see; it may be an issue with colorblidingness but they looked like lava pockets.

positive feedback: Smart move making first wave have no enemies, that way I knew how heal the plants. Adore the art :). Music was familiar be retroized :)

Firelighter by WoooWooo 2020-04-20T22:03:42Z

Nice little game. I was a little confused how to move around at the start; also seemed like player 2's hand would get in the way of player one's x/c buttons? I only played with single person so no problem. Art was cool and I like the fires. Very unique movement scheme that I haven't seen before, which sets this game apart from other games from the jam. Overall nice work!

edit: I should have watched the gifs before playing! My bad.

Ordinary Human Conversation by MikeSalyh 2020-04-20T13:20:42Z

Great job, at first I was like "this is too easy" but it got more difficult very quickly (good thing). The only constructive thing I can think to give is that the audio was a little harsh on my ears, maybe next time some more graceful sounds? Overall great job!

SuperOgre64 by BlueCalx 2020-04-21T12:05:51Z

Interesting concept and take theme, keep the orge alive by sacrificing others?

constructive feedback: I had a bug that the ogre came down raged rampage then ran off the screen never to return.

positive feedback: Interesting idea of assigning jobs and balancing the bars in top left. Simple yet effective, great job!

The flame of life by taran.unraveler 2020-04-20T23:17:11Z

Reminds me of flappy birds a bit. Nice fire art but I was a bit confused about the smiley/frowny. I guess it worked thought because I figured out I was supposed to touch the happy faces. Congrats on a good project :)

The Treekeeper by Rkuhl 2020-04-20T23:33:08Z

Hey! That was really creative. I liked the art! I after a while I felt I had gotten pretty good at it, I was multitasking (kiting wolf opening light and water. Good project, one of the better ones I have seen on the website today. :)

Keep it Fire by Mykola 2020-04-20T23:25:06Z

Nice job! I liked the art and especially the music. I was a bit confused at first though.

BABYSITTING by Tayfun 2020-04-20T14:27:17Z

I love seeing 3d browser games! I'm not sure if I had a glitch though, the progress bars covered up my character. But since they were transparent I could still play. constructive feedback: it was a bit difficult to control with the camera angle being to the side like it was (this may have been a bug?) Overall great job though! Looks like some polish was done before submit!

Johnny The Stupid Electron by Collin Thompson 2020-04-20T04:28:53Z

I was able to get HTML working. Only negative feedback is that the sounds were a little harsh on my ears. But I like the idea of protecting a proton! I wish I could see my score after each round (maybe I can but was too click happy?) I had a good streak going but idk how many points I had accumulated because as soon as I lost I went to another round (probably an error on my part?)

Great job overall though! Glad you put it up on HTML, thanks for making it super accessible!

Don't Crack by Weirdybeardyman 2020-04-20T15:51:34Z

Great job! Constructive feedback: I got stuck in egg carton and had to restart O.o; I didn't realize I had to pick my pillow back up to place it down later; so I ended up not having a pillow after a while. But on 3rd round I figured it all out.

Overall great job! I like the the idea that you can play this with someone and they can act as your lifeline and give you pillows! Should be really fun to play as a couple!

Run Robot Run! by Nikos 2020-04-20T13:14:37Z

Great job! Only thing I didn't like is the effects were a bit harsh (TV screen effect). But overall super solid and felt polished! Definitely a challenge, but the checkpoints made it so I didn't mind dying at all.

Battle of the Blades by technodragon253 2020-04-22T22:15:51Z

constructive feedback: I think I found a bug, if you do not touch the controls at all from the start, there is a chance all the enemies will die quickly and you will be free to keep spinning. positive feedback: Art and game mechanics were good. Also, music add some ambiance. :)

Congrats!

Feederz by Donitz 2020-04-21T12:44:52Z

Awesome for the raw js + 3js! I like the level of polish you gave, felt like something made with some commercial engine. Great job!

AmbiSphere by X-c 2020-04-21T11:21:54Z

Cute little game, great job!

Keep This Rust Bucket Flying by Cameron Borthwick 2020-04-20T18:49:42Z

Congrats on finishing! Time is a bit of a crunch! My constructive feedback: try to make the audio less harsh on ears, those high frequencies hurt my ears, especially when trying to save the ship! I also found the letter minigame confusing but I figured it out. I'd also prefer a faster restart sequence (I ended up just rereshing the page anytime I lost so I could play it again faster).

Aside from that, it is a good project! I generally try to avoid making because it increases the scope of the game a lot, but you pulled it off! Nice. Nice art style and it was funny seeing the space guy get ejected when ship blew up.

Rolly and the Flower by Rolly 2020-04-20T18:24:17Z

Awesome sound effects and the gameplay had a good flow to it! Great job!

Fire of Life by NoodleMaster 2020-04-20T19:35:09Z

I beat it with score of 153. constructive feedback: water was annoying! lol. But really I felt like the respawning of gas, once I realized that, made it a lot easier. But then again, without that feature it probably wouldn't have been as fun. So not sure if that is really any actionable feedback.

Overall it was a really fun game compared to many I have played on this site today. The animation was awesome. I did feel a bit bad about feeding bunnies to the fire. But I LOL'd when I realized I could throw the fire fighters in the fire! Nice addition for that -- those guys were getting annoying but not anymore! Overall positive ratings XD

Keep "It" alive by LoicLeGrosFrere 2020-04-21T13:35:57Z

Took me a while to figure out what to do, but you bring him food from the fridge and then it gets harder as each time he finds a different spot to find it. Great project, positive ratings! :)

Spark Of Imagination! by Magnanix 2020-04-22T11:24:01Z

Wow this is one of the best games this jam! Even though you didn't complete it (your message was very humorous. You should rate some games to increase this games exposure! Great find with the retro shaders! It reminded me of n64 zelda! Only thing I wish you added was some elf audio feedback, but I realize you ran out of time.

Overall Excellent job!

Angel by nomisvdp 2020-04-21T14:14:13Z

Unfortunately, couldn't figure out how to grab the fork to protect him :\ But giving bonus points for art and music! Great job on those things!

You should review some games if you want to increase your games exposure on the main page filters. I think you may want to add a bit of explanation on how to play the game first though.

Boxes in space by DSF100 2020-04-20T19:58:14Z

constructive feedback: The sounds were a little harsh. Next time I would recommend taking a highpass filter over them to cut out the higher frequencies. It wasn't that bad, but looking for something helpful to give as feedback :)

positive feedback: The game was surprisingly fun. There was a challenge because the boxes had to execute your commands, rather than listening to direct player input. I never could get past 2 boxes though, maybe I just suck at it though. It was also really easy to figure out how to play the game. Great job on making it intuitively.

Overall a really great project!

The Pacifist by AlexFSmirnov 2020-04-20T19:17:40Z

Funny concept. My feedback: I thing it would have been more fun to let you go to a new room after completing a wave, but then again I get that would make it easy not to accidentally kill the downed zombies (because you would be in a fresh room). So not sure on that. Also, in some of the rooms, I had a hard time differentiating between floor and wall (specifically the room where you get a shotgun and zombies start shooting at you).

Overall good project though. The avoidance of downing downed zombies adds at twist on it that makes it not just a simple button masher. It looks like you also added some avoidance to the AI that causes them to spread in such a way that you can accidentally shoot the downed zombies. That was very clever and gave some needed difficulty to the game. Great job overall! Positive ratings :)

A Tree by ditam 2020-04-22T22:09:48Z

Interesting little game to gave me a little perspective about trees. Don't shed your leaves in the winter if you don't have enough carbohydrates to grow them in the spring XD. Congrats getting it up and running and thanks for making it available in the browser. :)

Keep the Dog by ArmyAntsStudios 2020-04-23T15:10:37Z

Hey great job even though you didn't quite finish. Nice art and music! Thanks for putting it on the web :)

Keep it alive by PD Dev 2020-04-20T20:10:29Z

Great job! Loved the way the fire reflected when I accidentally walked through it. TY for the easy mode hehe. Tried hell mode after that and didn't last long at all. The font on the difficult modes was hard to read due to color choices (but that is hardly worth mentioning it is so minor, but wanted to give some constructive feedback). Great job overall!

Berry Battles by Subatiq 2020-04-20T16:02:18Z

"just pretend that the sword is swinging." hehe, bonus points for humor! Very nice looking game, only real criticism is that it feels like it is missing that last wave of polish (sword animation would have added so much). But great job dude! Definitely one of the best so far!

Simple, Don't Die by Thompson 2020-04-20T21:50:00Z

Cute little game. No issue with framerate here.

constructive feedback: It is a little hard for a causal gamer like me; but that is such a subjective thing.

positive feedback: Nice art and animations and creative use of checkpoints. Without the frequent checkpoints I would have put the game down very early on. But overall fun little game! Great job.

DiscoPuzzle Flooring Inc. by Marxy 37 2020-04-21T16:21:28Z

Cute little game, great job!

Proto by DanielRMorgan 2020-04-20T04:11:24Z

That was harder than it looked. I stood at the bottom for like 5-10 secs before realized I had gained control lol. But over all Great job!

Left Behind by gamedevpersian 2020-04-21T12:19:02Z

Very nice graphics and mood! Definite reference to the martian book/movie. I think I got stuck though, I picked up the container before visiting the ship and it keeps telling me I need a container :\ Overall great game though, one of the most polished I have seen so far!

Rescue turtles by A-312 2020-04-20T13:04:11Z

Overall very cute game. I was super sad when I accidentally fed one of my turtles to the bird! the shell never cleared meaning I was constantly reminded of my mistake each round! lol. Great job!

Keep It Alive from nuclear explosion by IzhVaryag 2020-04-20T12:59:21Z

Great job, saved up and got the $1000 convertible. That one's handling felt much better than starter car. :)

Keep Him Alive by Convg 2020-04-21T11:59:04Z

Nice little game, it is definitely a challenge. constrictive criticism: the camera shakes a little too much when you defeat an enemy, it is hard to focus on attacking another enemy while it is shaking.

positive feedback: Overall good amount of challenge and fits the theme nicely. Thanks for making it available via web! :)

DON`T DIE STAY ALIVE! by PenguinBob 2020-04-20T21:38:17Z

A nice and peaceful game.

constructive feedback: There were a few times where the fish was on the edge of the map, which seemed to get me killed as I had no time to react to spears. The the back of the spears also would hurt me when I would walk into them, seems like should only be the spear tip. Super minor things, but I feel like I need to give something constructive.

positive feedback: The art was super cute. I like the little pixelated fish. It was really easy to pick up and figure out the goal too. Thanks for providing an HTML version! Overall great little project!

YumYumMagic by double jammer 2020-04-20T21:17:16Z

Constructive feedback: I found it hard to discover the combinations that lead to what I needed. The unknown area sometimes was hard to figure out. But these are relatively minor things, but felt I needed to give you something for improvement :)

Positive feedback: Nice art and sound effects! Some of the combinations were intuitive (like hitting frog with the fire toasts him lol). Overall a good project, great job and thanks for sharing over HTML. :D

Fire is Friend by Joe Chatfield 2020-04-22T01:16:32Z

Nice little game! Thanks for posting a web link. I got stuck on first play through, not sure what happened but it was at a corner. Maybe that door dropped on me?

Keep Heart Beat by zilulu 2020-04-20T18:09:04Z

It took me a while to get the hang of it, but then I developed some muscle memory and was able to do it pretty easily. I think it would have been better if it was a little faster, or got faster as you progressed. Overall good job though! Sounds were funny :)

Dying Ember by Michael Sjogren 2020-04-20T21:27:48Z

Constructive feedback: I found it really hard to land some of the small blocks (the ones that were like 1 unit wide). I'd make them a bit wider, but then again I just probably suck a platformers lol. Not a major issue, part of the game is supposed to be hard I suppose.

Positive feedback: The art looks really good. I'm still trying to figure out how you did the shadows along edges (is that just something built into unity?). For the most part the game had a good balance difficulty and easiness. Overall this is one of the most impressive projects I have seen this jam, great job!

Save It With Fire!!! by Jason Woerner 2020-04-20T04:23:10Z

Great job, I got totally owned on my first play through. But was able to last a bit on second go after I figured it out. I agree with quichi about adding score. But it is great as is! It reminded me of the type of games I would find online during computer class in highschool.

ANICTO by WeAreDev 2020-04-21T17:58:34Z

Interesting idea. Sometimes I would see a gap in trees couldn't run through it.A little difficult to figure out what to do without reading description; that's a super minor thing. Impressive 3D browser graphics though! Great job!

Lamplight by StirStir 2020-04-21T14:17:52Z

Looks interesting, can't play since windows :(

You may should rate some games so others will see this and give it some ratings!

Bean's Farm: The Hunt of The Juicy Cow by Bobba 2020-04-21T13:56:58Z

To increase your games exposure you may want to review some other games to bump it in the main site's filter. :)

Parasist by Kiwii 2020-04-21T11:32:14Z

Awesome little game! I also maxed out the otter skill tree and got stuck at the skill selection page. Overall nice art, good humor, and moody music :) Great job!

The Undivine Comedy by JamesSauer 2020-04-20T04:17:18Z

I starred at the first screen and thought I was stuck, but the space bar saved me! I was a little confused about the objective of game. I think I was more engaged in flying over people and taking control, rather than the narration. Overall great job though!

Fight the virus by drschizzo 2020-04-20T18:15:17Z

Great job! Excellent for a first project!

Keep it alive by Sk1nnydave 2020-04-21T13:18:23Z

Great job on this one! Graphics and audio perfectly fit with each other :) Only suggestion is perhaps the make the green bar fill up faster? I never could get to the evolve stage. But maybe I just didn't figure out a great strategy. I was able to keep it alive for a long time, and on my longest streak it only died because I waited too late to click the heal button. Great project!

Kitty King by matt2728 2020-04-20T13:27:46Z

Thanks for the guy words guys! Unfortunately we ran out of time (we have work today) so we had to get it into a publishable state, so we didn't get to hitmakers, or color tinted friends/enemies @magnusfurcifer @a-312 . @mikesalyh we actually didn't know what to do about the warrior vs warrior scenario and we ran out of time to change what we had. Currently it will disable your warrior for a few seconds which opens the door for someone to attack the king, but still that bit needs some work.

Kitty King by matt2728 2020-04-21T12:25:15Z

@spaghetti Yeah we ran out of time with the sounds. The drag and drop should be good unless your browser is sized in such a way that there is a scroll bar. If there is a scroll bar, scrolling down will mess with with the hit locations of clicks :\ I ran out of time to getting around to fixing this.

Kitty King by matt2728 2020-04-23T23:32:09Z

@lukas-tamayo Yeah we were running out of time so didn't get to add a lot of features. We had some recorded audio, but with only a few hours left we had a problem; the game wasn't fun. So we spent the last bit of time rebalancing constants and adding in a few quick hacks to make it funner. And I must say it came a long way; its a totally different game. There were a lot of issues with the first design. Your own units could be killed; leaving no way to recover. It turned out to be very hard to remember which unit defeated which, so you ended up just getting destroyed unless you applied 100% brain power lol. Also there was no progression. So, in like that last 3 hours we had tweaked all of that, had it speed up as you do better, and added little arrows to hint to you which unit this one should attack (if they are close enough to your king, otherwise arrow doesn't show up). So we didn't get all the features, but the core gameplay mechanic now works much better.

Sacred Gardener by Hanamigi 2020-04-20T18:37:16Z

Nice! I think the my main constructive feedback is to give the player some sort of cue that they are doing something that is working. I found it hard to know if I was actually watering the plant or not. But eventually that root grew, so I figured it was working. Art style is nice. Awesome footstep sounds btw, glad they were not the harsh sounds some people like to use. Bravo!

Mis Vacas by sodap 2020-04-22T11:14:23Z

Definitely one of the best so far! Great job! I only wish I didn't have to completely start when running out of lives. I get it, that is what lives are for but some of those levels are hard! haha. Overall the game feels super polished and the gameplay is addictive! (That little camera shake when you shoot adds a lot to the feel). Bravo!

Restartigrade by Ezra Szanton 2020-04-21T01:21:27Z

That is a super unique idea! I really like this and is one of my favorites so far for LD46. Awesome job, thanks for putting an HTML version up. (I recommend full screen since they are so small)

Watch Your Head by MrFluffySheep 2020-04-20T03:35:49Z

Nice slow down effect! Saved me a few times. I think without it the game would have been too hard to have been fun. But you pulled it off! Great job :)

COMBO I N F I N I T Y by Pakmanlie 2020-04-20T22:11:20Z

DIfficult you were not kidding! haha. btw the UI covered up the tutorial bit on my screen, not sure if it was some issue on my end. (btw I think you can remove the old localhost link, I was having some trouble updating things earlier but all seems fixed now.).

Overall a nice project! great job :)

Keep IT-Support Alive! by debuggerpls 2020-04-21T16:17:39Z

Funny little game. Only criticism is some of the sounds were a little harsh on my ears; but super minor. Some of the humor was pretty funny! Great job

Keep the flame alive (adventures of an arsonist) by Llewellyn and Michael 2020-04-20T22:53:52Z

Fits the theme. Isn't the only fire-game I've seen so far, but might be the best. Very glad that the water enemies would occasionally drop wood. I might suggest tweaking the enemies that fire water to not hurt you if you run into them (that way you can defeat them). Overall, great project -- thanks for sharing a web version.

Save the pointer! by onesvenus 2020-04-20T13:16:41Z

Oh man, you should have allowed me to rate audio, I liked the music. I got to level 4 before getting hit! Great job!

A multitasker's dream! Too hard for me, but great job :) positive ratings!

Don't Leaf Me by MickeyO 2020-04-20T03:31:09Z

Nice, idk why but that little spin was super satisfying. Felt great finally figuring out how to get past the row of birds that have variable speed. Thumbs up!

Terraforming Mars by AronMS 2020-04-20T19:52:27Z

Lol at the full grown plants face reminds me of a ducky:).

constructive feedback: It would have been nice if the water collecting level was randomly generated. The jump felt kinda like a jetpack. Maybe some indication when you take damage too? little particle effect.

positive: Cute sprites and level was easy to visually understand; I've seen a few today that were hard because the level art wasn't great, but that was not a problem for yours. The progression of the plant was simple, but surprisingly very satisfying. It actually made me want to go back and collect more water to see what it would look like when it was fully grown. It did not disappoint (XD). It was very easy to figure out how to play, bonus points for that in overall.

Overall good project. :)

I think the link is broken, couldn't test your game out :(

Keep Ye Alive by JoskerDu 2020-04-20T23:12:11Z

I was a little confused at first until I went to the comment section. Can I lose if I just spam health potions? Overall nice art! What were you planning on using other than the pink head?

Dodger by Unevilicorn 2020-04-21T14:52:55Z

This is surprisingly very fun! Unique twist on a popular idea. Many games have you avoid things, but this one just feels different. Positive ratings!

Seymour by ruiznick 2020-04-21T13:50:52Z

Hey artwork looks great. But I was a little confused as to how to feed the plant. But I figured it out, the thing shooting is water, and you have to take it out for sun and the little meters at the bottom tell you how well you're doing in regard to that.

Overall great project! You should review some games to increase your games exposure on the main pages filter! I think you can get some good ratings. :)

Touch it! Do it! by JosephByam 2020-04-21T13:54:19Z

Thanks for making it exposed on web. Pretty crazy to see 3d browser games like this now. Great job! You should rate some other games to increase your games exposure on the main page's filter. :)

LD59 — Signal

Ghost Town by Peredom 2026-04-21T16:22:29Z

Perhaps could use the description as a write up? Finishing is hard. I think the effort is important though, good learning experiences. I would be interested to see the progress you made in screenshots, not sure I want to download it though.

Hive and Honey Horticulture by Sarah 2026-04-24T12:28:34Z

Nice cozy game :)

Captured Tides by mechanicallife 2026-04-24T23:50:36Z

This is my favorite game of the jam so far. You give some more feedback so the LD algorithm pushses this to more people! Great job! I get outer wilds vibes, I've been longing for a game like that for while.

Is there a way you could hint at the end without spoiling it? I'm unsure if I reached it, but think I may have. Is there any feedback to let me know the game is done?

Fade by feffers 2026-04-21T23:06:32Z

Nice video. Is that UE buttons? :D

Signal Steve by Isaac Hisey 2026-04-24T12:49:44Z

Nice work, aligns with the theme :)

Solar Signals by pmarincak 2026-04-21T16:25:07Z

Oh glad I read the comments. I saw the ascending values and didn't notice the cheap house in the middle. I was stuck there for a minute :)

Solar Signals by pmarincak 2026-04-21T16:38:21Z

Overall nice little game!

Light Signal by Anatei 2026-04-24T00:12:56Z

Nice project! I like the way the clouds feel to move, it is oddly satisfying :)

Hear Ye! by Sibi 2026-04-21T17:19:34Z

I was a bit confused, perhaps you should add some instructions to the description?

Average League by N.O.X 2026-04-23T12:48:39Z

Very impressive project. Took me a minute to understand the drawing, once it clicked, that was cool. I do wonder how you programmed it to match the drawing :D Nice art style. Good humor. Most of all, I like the concept. Gamifying the super hero signal... what a unique idea. Great job, one of my favorites this Jam :)

SIG:ORB.IDLE by Lexxio 2026-04-21T23:11:19Z

Do you mind adding some screenshots to the page? I think folks may not be sure if it is a game they want to try.

Brainstorm Battle by MidoriMelody 2026-04-23T01:18:56Z

Nice job. The bad thought model is interesting. Flowers are cool too :D I like the good vibes.

Constructive feedback: I think maybe the audio loop was a bit out of sync. there is something causing my player to rotate a bit too. But the audio does help constrast for when you're in the center.

Some notes for people trying this * Use the outer rim to lose the bad thoughts chasing you * You have to stop walking in the center to recharge your water * Water the small squares on ground; they're flower beds * You eventually will grow big flowers to fight the bad thoughs

Overall cool concept. I took it as the dark thoughts are the signals

Great job! :)

LEFT ON RED by Lenny Rudeberg 2026-04-23T13:10:57Z

A novel take on the theme. :) I played without reading anything first, and took me a minute to realize, once you're hit by the dodge ball, you drop the phone and have to pick it back up. Nice job with the models, art, and audio.

The Trisignal by matt2728 2026-04-21T04:26:26Z

Thanks, should be resolved now

The Trisignal by matt2728 2026-04-22T12:57:49Z

Oh, I think I realized **there is hidden tree collision** thew wizard can hit in some early levels, that is why it is stopping. Have to walk around it. It is a small square. :\

The Trisignal by matt2728 2026-04-23T13:16:32Z

@sh0ck3r yeah, that is bug with tutorial, I noticed after. I think related to spamming the input. I was working on it until the last 10 minutes to upload, had to just get what I had into a shipping state :D

The Trisignal by matt2728 2026-04-24T23:51:46Z

@metalim try it in itch, some folks get that error on Chrome on the ludum dare site. Not sure why. Itch has better full screen as well.

The Trisignal by matt2728 2026-04-24T23:52:02Z

@rentem that's the end, I ran out of time and had to submit without a proper ending screen :X

The Trisignal by matt2728 2026-04-25T00:11:05Z

@mechanicallife that was the end :) I ran out of time and didn't get to implement the final boss

SOS by dan-whiffing 2026-04-21T04:08:32Z

Disclosure: I wasn't able to finish it with time I had allotted to play it. **I've never learned how morse code worked, so this was awesome to play.**

I'm not sure when I unlocked the first door typing "hello". But I didn't notice it was unlocked. I kept thinking I was failing, despite having got all the letters. So note for others, if you think you got all the letters, check the door, it may have have opened.

`Use space bar instead of clicking`

**NOTE: I think you should update your thumbnail, and add some screenshots to your page**

The Depths Listen by Forik 2026-04-21T23:10:34Z

Any screenshots to add to page description? I think without some screenshots, folks are not sure if it is game they want to play.

packet_loss by NikaZ 2026-04-24T13:04:03Z

Nice job :D This one consistent art style. Interesting idea behind packet filtering and signals.

Signalchain by WouterK12 2026-04-21T22:40:38Z

I like the art style and audio. :)

S.L.O.P. - Signals lost on planets by Pentaworks 2026-04-21T17:33:13Z

I really like this concept. Was fun to play. The difficulty ramped up quickly. Perhaps next time can add some easier levels first for learning. I wonder also if the signals could be a bit faster, so that you can learn quicker.

Overall really cool game. One of my favorites this jam.

Signal Catching by BlackCat508 2026-04-21T17:13:04Z

Reminds of fishing minigames, but trying to catch multiple fish at a time!

In a puff of smoke by Loki Drams 2026-04-23T12:27:37Z

Cool concept, signaling over distance. The game reminds me of n64 zelda, which I like :D I had a bit of confusion on how to do actions. I read the instructions but then needed to remember what it said. Overall great project for the jam.

Moon Message by exozetart 2026-04-21T22:56:42Z

The art style is really nice. It is a bit of work to decode the messages  Great job!

Morse Defense by ZenithStar 2026-04-24T12:33:03Z

I feel like this game could actually teach me morse code if I play it enough :D I like the tree view visualization, I had not thought thinking about it that way. Nice job :)

Raider of the Warehouse by Crystik 2026-05-03T16:20:11Z

Nice game. I was confused why I could drop hay, until I realized I was going to have to find my way out. Guess the hay is to breadcrumb you way back, a signal to escape I guess? Overall cool project :)

Echo : Signal drift by MikhailNe 2026-04-21T23:50:08Z

Great work with atmosphere. Looks like some work went into making it technical and detailed. Was cool to explore ship and planet select, etc. One point for future, maybe interactive tutorials rather than instructions at the start? But then again, it is a game jam and tutorials are time consuming to make. I didn't understand one of the puzzles, would need to go back to read instructions again. That earth-like planet was spinning fast haha. Great job

S.I.G.N.A.L. by BigDippers 2026-04-21T16:18:41Z

The art is nice, but I couldn't figure out how to use the spinner? it just says stop? I see the number I need (I think).

S.I.G.N.A.L. by BigDippers 2026-04-22T12:54:48Z

@bigdippers The video helped a lot! Thanks, I gave it another try and was able to play it this time :D Great work

ANALOG TUNE OVERRIDE by Arryos 2026-04-23T12:58:32Z

Nice project. Cool take on the theme. Nice 3d models. Good mix up of mechanics with progression and difficulty.

Tune by DeathandRepublic 2026-04-21T04:48:30Z

I think I'm having a skill issue... **but how do I get out of the start?** Only 1 of my abilities seems to do anything when I let it charge up? The other 3, the bar fills, but nothing happens?

**edit** Response below, but **use the mouse wheel to match the color on the bar while charging**

Traffic Jam by MountainGoose 2026-04-24T12:57:39Z

Nice job. I had ab it of confusion at the start learning to play, but once I got it down it became interesting. I think you should be able to make light groups while it is paused though, and move lights between groups; seemed like I had to unpause to set it up, but I could pause again to set up the timings. This game makes me appreciate the complexity behind traffic lights haha.

Signal Cabin by ionhaven 2026-04-27T23:44:20Z

I think on itch, there is an option to add a fullscreen button in settings. It may help make the text a bit more readable on web. (though the other URL seems to work for a bigger view)

Klasifabb's Adventure by Arkwright 2026-04-21T22:50:32Z

Nice take on the theme. My feedback is the jump sound got a bit old with it being so high pitch. But overall great job!

DragonSpell by kraith 2026-04-21T17:22:08Z

Note: seems to play on chrome, but I got stuck on firefox.

DragonSpell by kraith 2026-04-21T17:26:37Z

Interesting idea, perhaps would benefit from an itch link. I keep clicking out of the box, since I can't full screen in ludum dare.

Worlds Apart by Brian McCarthy 2026-04-21T23:12:36Z

I'm curious about co op. Would you mind adding some screenshots to the page of what the game looks like?

Radioblet by Dwang 2026-04-23T13:23:18Z

Hey, nice aesthetic. I'm a little confused by the game loop though. It may be a colorblind thing, but it seems like it stops the song early? Is the objective to do something more than line up the line with the falling things? I think I missed something. **edit:** oh perhaps it is related to skill tree to keep it going? or are the default songs just intended to be short

Overall nice polish and job on the game :)

The Nexus Hope Mission by Carrerino 2026-04-23T12:35:16Z

The longer the music goes on, the catcher it gets :D note: **if you get a black screen** that happened to me on firefox after decoding, instead **use chrome** and it works My time: 3:51.

Nice job, very polished.

Human Signal by denikk 2026-04-23T12:05:32Z

Interesting atmosphere and ambience, good art direction IMO. I got to the end I think, clicked finish testing, and the comrade major paused on "No". ~~I think maybe the game froze? Was that the intended end?~~ edit: I replayed it, this happens if you don't click the message and click finish, it starting typing next message.

Overall cool project :)

Drum`n`Ice by PepeBrante 2026-04-23T11:44:11Z

Cool project. I got to what I think is final boss, but haven't beat them yet. Is the music sync'd up with the beat? I have had to manually make my hum my own metronome to the pips popping up in order to land attacks, I think the music may be out of sync adding to difficulty? That got a little frustrating.

Overall cool project. Great job :)

shift-0 by nikitose 2026-04-23T01:20:05Z

Visuals are cool. I was a bit confused on my interaction though. Perhaps worth clarifying the idea in description?

Costomic Signal: A Story of a Message Across Time and Space by sy999 2026-04-21T23:09:17Z

Heads up, I had same issue with the Ludum Dare website. I had to go into the folder where the gamename.html was, change it to index.html, and then compress to zip from within the folder. That kept the .zip file from having an extra html folder in there.

Costomic Signal: A Story of a Message Across Time and Space by sy999 2026-04-21T23:09:47Z

You can also probably upload the HTML to the itch page, alternatively.

Treasures Below by HollowsEdge 2026-04-22T00:08:30Z

May be worth while adding some screenshots so players know what the game looks like and if they want to download it.

Meow For Help by Kaff 2026-04-21T17:16:16Z

You could upload it to itch, and add that to the description. For uploading on Ludum Dare website, I hit a similar issue.

**To dev: What I did to get my html working on this website**: 1. Make sure to rename the game.html file to index.html. 2. Go into the folder, select all, and compress to zip. if you zip file has a HTML folder inside of it, it seems to break it,
