LD27 — 10 Seconds

Hand Drawn Hero by Ritzblues783 2013-08-27T18:03:00

Liked the art style and I think the concept would be cool if you were to add more levels with different goals, sort of like a warioware platformer. Took me a bit to figure out the boss.

Seconds of Light by kristof 2013-08-27T18:26:00

Nice little dungeon crawler, felt like playing Adventure.

10 Second Defender by boddiul 2013-08-27T18:50:00

I had a lot of fun with this game, and really liked the gun sounds.

Enemy Inbound by Canobie 2013-08-27T18:16:00

Always love a dual-stick shooter.

Like a Lamb by dook 2013-08-27T18:06:00

Really liked the art and mood.

Bomb Squad by Levi D. Smith 2013-08-28T01:30:00

Quite fun with the xbox controller, got into a nice rhythm while playing.

Your last 10" by Sithdown 2013-08-27T17:56:00

Looks like it needs more time to have more of a game, but I dig the concept.

10 Seconds Before the World Ends by Lustdante 2013-08-28T01:12:00

Great idea! Loved it.

'Dungeon Escape' by designatius 2013-08-27T18:43:00

I hate you for making me start over, but I love you for reminding me of Chu Chu Rocket.

Cosmic Commander by UnorthodoxGames 2013-08-28T01:16:00

Took a bit to get the hang of it, but decently fun once I figured it out.

00000010 by Vile Smile 2013-08-27T22:33:00

Cute game, nice twist with the binary. The comments for the tutorial made me smile. Good job.

Hobaton Kingdom by Feffers 2013-08-27T18:22:00

@kristof Yeah, I knew that was going to be an issue with this submission, but for some reason I really wanted to make a party game. Thanks for trying it!

Hobaton Kingdom by Feffers 2013-08-27T21:55:00

@Ritzblues yeah, the coin/store system is risk reward. The I did several runs just holding right to see how long it took. In the end if you take more than ~.75 seconds to grab a coin, it's not worth it. There's also another powerup in the game that for some reason isn't showing up that cost quite a bit but doubles the value of coins. The double jump problem I realized too late :(.

Hobaton Kingdom by Feffers 2013-08-27T22:22:00

@dook there are! The "Murder balls" in the store let you drop a spike in place, and a player loses a coin for hitting it! If they are not showing up, then let me know.

Inversion Boy by chippers 2013-08-27T18:19:00

I liked the single button game-play and was pleasantly surprised when it flipped upside down. Good level flow.

Ten Seconds to Death by CLdogs 2013-08-27T18:39:00

Seems like a game a friend and I could play for a while for simple fun, the overall style seemed to work together.

Life goes by in 10 seconds by DavidErosa 2013-08-28T01:26:00

Interesting concept, I like where this could go if you had more time.

Sleep Consultant by flashkick 2013-08-27T18:12:00

Sleepy Sam swayed at me :(. Liked the idea of pummeling someone until they sleep at their request.

Factory Wars by The Evil Cult 2013-08-27T18:31:00

I really liked this game, made me feel like I was controlling the minions in dota/moba game.

Lil' Lost SPARK-Es by fractalsunrise 2026-04-26T22:50:45Z

That was fun, a little finicky sometimes, but overall very nice. I really liked the "tutorial" that was included, it taught the game very intuitively.

Fade by feffers 2026-04-26T20:32:57Z

Thanks for the feedback everyone, it was a joy to make a puzzle game for a change. For people asking, yes it was made with UE 5.7. I agree @slay-a-stone that a tutorial would have been nice, but I didn't want to resort to a screen in the game and preferred a little self-experimentation over that.

I also wish I had more time to polish the UI a little more (post game score is a great callout @jamesgames1000), but such is the way of the jam.

Manual Launch Control by jka 2026-04-26T16:38:40Z

That was really neat, I love the idea and mood. The controls were a *little* on the tough side, I wish I had slightly more responsiveness, but it's a thin line to keep the mood.

Trouble in Telegraph Town by Theg 2026-04-25T20:10:22Z

Very fun little game. I appreciated how it progressed with the new mechanics

On Ivy Boulevard by python-b5 2026-04-25T18:56:36Z

I really liked this, great job!

Signal Survival by mrks 2026-04-28T15:55:36Z

I tried the game, but was unable to get any of the keybinds other than the left mouse click to work. It seems neat, I didn't leave a rating yet as I felt I couldn't really experience the game.

A glimmer in the sea by Norah 2026-05-08T17:14:45Z

That was enjoyable. I had some trouble locating the controls at first, and the mouse movement would occasionally bug when walking around not at the computer.

Mayday - Keep the signal alive by UnrestStudio 2026-05-08T17:25:47Z

That was really enjoyable. I hope your team had fun making it! Great job on the art for such a short time
