A very simple game. I liked the idea of mini-games in the middle of the search and the pixel art sea animation.

I thought it was bad that you didn't put the controls on the page, but seeing them appear in the middle of the game made me realize it was a much better choice.

Congratulations!

Hey! I really like the way you're trying to tell a story through different stylish screens and mini-games. The overall pixel art is great, and the sound design fits well! Although I find some texts are a bit off and difficult to read.

I got a bug in the last minigame where I was stuck; I just spammed a dozen of time _rescue_ and _back_ on the right signal, and it worked.

Nice entry overall, good job! :v:

I liked the art and the storytelling, and the atmosphere. Tuning minigame was confusing at first, as the popup text showing controls didn't show me keycodes, just odd symbols and I had to hit random keys until something happened. Good effort to get a complete experience!

balimaarthebassfish 2026-04-28 15:27

I couldnt progress at one point as the characters showing me what the controls were glitched so I had no idea what to do.

Up to that point I was enjoying the entry very much. I have to ask how you did the dialogues for this game :)

Simple gameplay but I liked the experience, great visuals and vibe! I think there was a bug in the rescue minigame, I could click rescue on the right point and it would go back to the "map" movement, and I think it worked when I hit E on rescue, maybe that's me but the fact you could click and not have the rescue behavior confused me. But that's an easy fix anyways, good job!!

lllarso 2026-04-28 15:47

Short and fun game. I was able to rescue them. :) I really like the graphics in the "story parts". Was totally surprised when the first mini-game started. :D

The minigames worked fine and even though I liked the second game the most (pressing in the right moment), I would have liked that the resetting (when you miss something) would be faster.

The animated waves are so nice to look at. Really amplified the mood. And I also found the lightning effects in the background very cool.

It's a cute little game, I like the graphics and the music, but most of the minigames seemed to be a little broken... The radio minigame could be better explained, the emojis show up as undefined characters on the web build, so I thought I was missing instructions. It reads something like "[undefined][undefined] to look for a signal, hit E when you find a frequency", I thought I was meant to use the arrow keys but that did nothing, I just figured out it was a simple timing minigame when I randomly happened to hit E at the correct time by accident x). The rescue minigame I think is broken too, I can click on the circles, but then I'm forced to click rescue on them or else I can't move the cursor again, and either way clicking rescue or back didn't seem to do anything. I ended up just scrolling down to comment and suddenly I was in the next section, and then I won! I think with the kinks ironed out this could be a fine game

Indeed, we had some trouble with that last mini-game especially, and due to lack of time, we could not fix all the bugs. :( Thank you everybody for the reviews, it's really heartwarming to see everyone gather here to comment, and we hope you still enjoyed the game!

Good game with amazing visual and ocean-vibes. I enjoyed, but second mini-game is so hard on 4th part, tried to complete that 5 times

anszwa 2026-04-28 16:45

Great idea to connect the theme through a sequence of minigames. I love the art style, pixel art always works for me haha.

Some of the minigames are really tough though. I was stuck on the broken radio for ages. But overall, its a very successful project and I had fun with it!

emmatw 2026-04-28 20:44

I love the art style of this game, the environments look so nice, I especially like how you did the waves! The mini games were fun as well, I didn't have a problem with any of them, just the last one was maybe lacking a bit of feedback, I think removing the circles you had made a choice on would make it a bit clearer. I saw in a comment above that you ran out of time though which is understandable, I think you still got a lot of content in! Overall I had a great experience, well done!

After a while, I started seeing the fun and humor in the multiple mini-games. It feels like running a gauntlet, with many ideas layered together. I appreciate the effort in handcrafting all of that; it likely wasn’t easy within the time constraints. The rescue mission wasn’t clear to me even after a few tries. I ended up pressing back and the game completed, which was amusing in its own way. The ideas here seem reusable and worth developing further. Good job overall.

That damn knob... but in the end I made it Screenshot 2026-04-29 130439.png

Nice one. The mini games were fun and the artworkis great! GG!

ikado 2026-04-30 01:01

the pixel art was very good, especially the waves! though if i were to be a bit nitpicky the uneven scaling of the pixels across the sprites bothered me, but obviously i understand that the time constraints make it hard to get everything to feel seamless. good work!

joegreen 2026-04-30 20:44

I went into mild shock when the chill, nice music and art took such a sudden and extreme turn. Heh, that's honestly just too funny.

I find this setting particularly interesting. The narrative is rich in content and depth. The idea of treating the signal as a story is quite novel, and it is also more likely to draw people's attention and prompt some thoughts. The visuals are in a pixel style, and all the content elements are clearly expressed, so I don't see any issues. The music also fits well. I think it's a great game.

arnage 2026-05-01 10:21

Some minor bugs in the minigames, but I still managed to reach the end :) I had read the story here on this page first, and thought that set the mood very well. Would have been great if the storytelling through fragmented messaged made it in the final game, but we all know a jam means you have to make aggressive cuts. We didn't even manage to get any sound in our game :P

bjornstenlund 2026-05-04 16:20

Really nice pixel art! The menu music was really nice and cozy! The rescue game was a bit confusing, I felt like I was stuck, but I just kept at it a couple of minutes and eventually I succeeded. I think some UI could be helpful. In the first game you had a timer, maybe you could have something simliar for what the goal was in the last minigame :)

cool game!

7uc4s 2026-05-04 21:03

Nicely done, the art is cool (graphics and audio), minigames are well-made, nice little game overall :) I just did not understand the last minigame though ^^"

fabonacci 2026-05-06 18:10

Wow didn't expect, multiple gameplay in a gamejam ! good job doing those minigames and assets, it's impressive ! I liked the progression. Well done.

2026-05-07 15:38

real nice minigames :) the first one I cheesed by steering right all time and it worked haha

rubixnoob13 2026-05-08 01:26

The music fit the vibe of the game really well. I like how when it went to the steering minigame it felt super tense due to the change in music.

We had the same issue that some have mentioned with fonts being weird in our game. Apparently with Godot, in the editor, if the font you are using is missing a character, it'll fall back to using a system font. But in the web export, you'll get the little box which is (apparently) a unicode character code printed inside a square since the sandboxing of the web export can't access the filesystem directly.

You can double click the font you're using in the FileSystem tab, then click "Pre-Render Configurations" at the top and "Glyphs from the character map" to see if the symbol you want to use exists in the font you're planning to use to see if it's going to be an issue. We had to replace the ~ and { with just a - and [ symbols because they weren't in the font we picked to use for some text, and it was too far along to change the font at that point.

I also think there was a bug with the radar scanning minigame, but I eventually got it to let me rescue the poor people stranded.

Cute pixel art and a really fun little experience! Nice work!

A well-made set of mini-games.

ava-skoog 2026-05-08 11:19

Very nice and atmospheric game, the description on the page really sets the mood for you going in. You really feel like you're out there in a storm. I like the waves especially!

The description did give me the impression that there'd be more than one rescue mission, but I played twice and the game ended after finding the same wreck both times, so I just want to make sure I didn't miss anything.

The sound design is great with all the environmental stuff, and it's cool that you were able to do two distinct music tracks, but since you've opted out of the audio catgory I'm guessing you didn't make them? Still, they fit the game.

Again the graphics are really moody and pretty with nice colours and some highlights like those waves. I will say that a consistent pixel size would've probably look better. Especially the text boxes felt somewhat out of place, and the text was kinda small. On web the symbols for the keys didn't display correctly for me unfortunately, but since you're consistent about WASD + E throughout the game, it wasn't a problem :)

Always impressive to see jammers be able to fit a bunch of things into a game in such a short time, and you basically have four games in one here! Cool stuff :)

zimny11 2026-05-08 13:51

The art was adorable! I also really liked the mini games, kind of wish there was even more of them, but I get it takes a lot of time to add completely new mechanics for each one. In general, cute, short game :D

feffers 2026-05-08 17:25

That was really enjoyable. I hope your team had fun making it! Great job on the art for such a short time
