The interior of the lighthouse is beautifully designed, but I couldn’t figure out what I’m supposed to do. The captain doesn’t give any instructions over the radio. At one point I managed to open a guide saying I need to turn valves and use a lever, but I can’t find them anywhere. There’s nothing in the room below, and in the spawn room there’s only a radio and a monitor—but unfortunately, the monitor can’t be used to control anything either. I hope this can be fixed; I’ll hold off on leaving a rating for now.

I couldn't find the wheel or levers either unfortunately, and then fell in the sea when I tried to go exploring and couldn't get out

hurp 2026-04-21 16:28

I also could not figure out what to interact with to play the game, even after finding the manual book. There was a wheel next to the radar, but it wouldnt let me do anything. I also fell down and explored the out of bound world.

It's a really good looking and moody game, and i'm surprised how smooth the html build runs! Just wish I could play it

norah 2026-04-21 16:42

@hurp @flameseer @catanus I'm sorry it wasn't clear enough, we're going to fix that. You must first use the radio to listen to the message, then interact with the control station. Once at the control screen, use the mouse to turn the wheel (on the left of the screen) and the lever (on the right of the screen). To guide the ship, you must illuminate it with the lighthouse beam and steer it toward the port.

Hello! ^v^/ After missing a few jams, I am excited to play a new game by your team. Hopefully I can find time to check out the ones I missed as well! They are always so atmospheric.

However, I can't seem to be able to play this one? The itch only has a downloadable Build4 which seems to be an HTML build, but ofc it doesn't open just locally. On the itch itself, at the same time, the HTML game is not embedded:

Is it something on my side? Or maybe there is a missed checkmark on "this file has to play in browser" line on itch edit page? I would be down to downloading a regular PC build for Windows, too, that would be even better.

Here's how the file I've downloaded looks for me unzipped, the main folder and the Build folder:

Hopefully there is a fix, looking forward to playing the game <3

Sorry, I didn't realize it was embedded here on LD page too. I got excited for a second, but nope:

It's not loading either :(

Sorry for spamming the comment section with so many error screens T_T I wish I could delete them to clean the space but I don't see the option?

I've noticed you've updated the itch.io page and went to check it out. Now the web build is there! I've tried playing it.

Unfortunately, I am still struggling :'D

The sensitivity seems to be very high so it's impossible to look around with a mouse. I did manage to move with WASD though to check out stuff as well as I could. Read instructions, got the signal. I tried moving the valve while this guy kept complaining in French :'D If only he knew how I am struggling here! I did figure out kinda how to move the ship, but the valve really is confusing to steer.

I did it!!! First ship guided! The guy is very grateful and understanding ofc xD

The second guy was way more polite and I actually managed much better this time! Though I can see the map getting harder with red and moving pieces... And I am already not very good at this so it makes me worried x)

I have to note the voice acting is so funny! In a good way. You really do imagine a certain character, and it feels like you guys played with your voices which made them sound more unique and interesting!

This was so funny:

The view outside the window is beautiful. And I love how cozy my "office" looks (lighthouse setting is so atmospheric!). I just wish I could look around more comfortably. I managed to look at some paintings on the wall. They are quite curious! I wonder if that old man is Maurice?

I am starting to get a hang of the valve. I think the main trouble I am having now is with "overshooting". It goes too far, and I am trying to steer it in small moves.

I failed Lucinda while trying to be speedy to get away from the red thingy and crashed into a static rock T_T Now I would need to do everything from the start. I wish I would just need to redo Lucinda, and not the whole thing. I think I'll stop here for now >v<

As always, it was an interesting and atmospheric experience! I love how often you come back to themes of water, sea, ships. It feels familiar and comforting now. Hopefully the technical details can be fixed so it will be easier to enjoy the game and more people can play it and play it to the end!

I think mechanic in general is interesting. It was satisfying guiding the ships! I think it could make for a really nice gameplay loop ^v^

Thank you so much for your awesome comments, @kanity ! We’re really happy that you keep testing and enjoying our jam games every time, it honestly means a lot to us !  For this game, unfortunately we didn’t have enough time to include everything we wanted or properly fix the bugs after the deadline. But we definitely took note of all your feedback ! Haha yeah, we had a lot of fun doing the voice acting! (Good catch, it actually was Maurice in the painting.)

ieee333 2026-05-05 10:50

The scenes and visuals have a lot of style. I really like the atmosphere.

carraka 2026-05-05 11:58

I really enjoyed the voice acting! Maurice's warning not to wander around after dark was hilarious too. I wish the game only reset to the most recent level when you failed rather than needing to start over from the beginning, given how long it took to navigate the levels.

It seems like all these ships have been here before--why haven't they learned to approach from the southeast XDDD

Really good mood in this entry. The graphics, both inside the lighthouse and on the screen, together with the sound was excellent. The controls are difficult but that's the gameplay. Solid connection to the theme as well, good job!

kanity 2026-05-05 15:40

@norah The atmosphere is so good in your games, so I am always curious what you will try next ^^ It's always an interesting experience! Honestly with jams it feels like you really have to limit the ideas so you can have time to polish them and playtest and check everything. Looking forward for the next LD with you :)

valb-soares 2026-05-05 16:45

This game is great, it perfectly matches the theme, the art is good, and the narration is excellent. Congratulations!

kkritselis 2026-05-05 17:29

It was really struggling on a mac m4 in chrome. But I really like the concept. Nice work.

teaminister 2026-05-05 19:33

Veeery, very cool looking game! Gameplay is intersting, lighting and visuals are awesome! Sensitivity is a little bit... too fast(?), I think. Was hard for me to control a little bit. But overall - very strong entry! Great job!

cedaoan 2026-05-05 21:57

Nice job! The graphics and audio are so very good. The whole vibe is beautiful and I like the effort you guys put in it! There are some minor issue (like control a bit too fast, i couldn't find the radio interaction at first haha), but overall strong entry as the other comment mentioned!

anthony-katona 2026-05-06 00:52

easy 5/5 for audio, mood, and humor and the others aren't far behind. I don't know if you just have a bunch of French speaking friends or what, but the voice acting fit so perfectly, it felt like the kind of polish I'd expect from a full game studio

vladimperator 2026-05-06 02:07

The level of detail is absolutely insane, I loved every second of the game. It felt like a fully fledged game more than a game jam entry.

antoine-bodin 2026-05-06 17:10

feffers 2026-05-08 17:14

That was enjoyable. I had some trouble locating the controls at first, and the mouse movement would occasionally bug when walking around not at the computer.
