LD42 — Running out of space

Stacked Odds by Josh Riley 2018-08-13T00:18:54Z

Really nice! Love the overall style and how well it plays. Also, thanks for adding an easy mode! ;) Only side note I can think off is that it's a little hard to follow (at least for me), with so many columns and numbers in there. But it could also be that I'm not that great with numbers.

minicipality by Remco 2018-08-13T19:49:48Z

Very nice! You made a city builder as a puzzle game work really well. One little nitpick is that for me my city became more than 50% road. I think it would be nice if you'd allow the roads in the pieces to overlap with existing roads on the map when you place them, if that makes sense.

Brand new shop by Mathiouza 2018-08-13T19:32:10Z

Nice work! Art looks great! Minigames have nothing to do with selling cellphones of course, but I found that kind of funny. I liked that you made a proper tutorial, shows the level of polish you put into it.

Character Assassin by ReboundGames 2018-08-13T00:07:07Z

Looks like fun! Unfortunately I don't have anyone to play with right now. I'll try to check it out tomorrow!

Dimitri's Revenge by 1y1e 2018-08-13T13:46:27Z

Nice concept. Looks cool and I found it challenging. Would be even better if the controls would feel a little bit more responsive.

Sink or Swim by wrexialmt 2018-08-13T13:29:08Z

Good stuff, really nice artwork and audio. The overflowing sink is a nice detail.

Anatomically Drunk by Moczan 2018-08-13T00:25:14Z

Very cool! It's suprisingly satisifying when you get a good punch in. :)

Space Factory by mrnyarlathotep 2018-08-13T01:00:58Z

The background moving faster when you accelerate time is a nice touch.

Personal Space by ursagames 2018-08-17T14:00:57Z

Impressive work! I like the graphics, especially the characters, they're funny. The mechanics work really well and the walking audio is a nice detail. One thing that might improve the overall experience is have by adding some camera movement while you're walking.

Packboy by piece ofcheese 2018-08-13T01:16:10Z

Good stuff! The black and white art style is nice and game concept is cool. I got some unhappy customers while it looked like I had plenty of time left though. Not sure if that's a bug or if I'm doing something wrong. :)

Little Man Computer by anaglyphcoding 2018-08-17T13:41:33Z

Nice take on the theme. The audio is really good! The gameplay works well, although the rough collision detection can make it a bit frustrating at times.

BTW, there's not such thing as unnecessary explosions. So plus points for those!

Reply All by Dilem 2018-08-16T22:34:34Z

Nice work, fellow first-timer! Great concept, has a lot of potential.

Space Depot by Laien Pathfinder 2018-08-13T13:57:25Z

Nice, I enjoyed the menu screen the most actually , the graphics of it and the music are great! The hitboxes are bit off though. I got destroyed a couple of times by trash that should have counted as a pickup.

Volka by Cisco 2018-08-13T10:59:47Z

Excellent! This is the best entry I've played so far. It really has that "just one more try" feel. I think this would be a great fit for mobile too.

Only fault I could find is a small bug where the big black/red circle stays red after you die when it's red and then retry, but that's just nitpicking. :)

Pizza Defender by Sloyd 2018-08-12T23:25:20Z

As you say, the game has some bugs, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. The artstyle totally makes up for it! It looks great and very funny. :D

If you really want to I think I read in the rules that it's allowed to fix bugs? Don't take my word for it though, it's my first entry as well. :) It should be on the rules page though.

BadPhone by Mormert 2018-08-13T00:43:38Z

Love it! It's funny because I think this is recognizable for anyone that has had the misfortune to have to deal with a crappy phone. :)

The graphics are great and the controls worked flawlessly for me. Only (really small) nitpick I have is with the phone's angle. I would have like to see it tilted slightly more towards the camera.

Grocery Runner by roberth332 2018-08-13T10:11:35Z

Good job! Looks easy, but was actually pretty challenging to me. I agree with the Anonymous comment though. It's kind of hard to look at the UI while you're playing the game. Maybe you could have some text pop-up when you pick up an item telling you "Wrong item" or "3 left" or something. :)

Forklift Frenzy by malif 2018-08-17T13:27:04Z

Nice job! Really enjoyed this one. The controls are a bit hard to get used to, but once you do it feels really satisfying to move the truck around. The graphics are really nice. Starting a new game after losing doesn't work right though. The number of missed deliveries doesn't get reset to 0. So you lose instantly if you miss one. Also, some audio would have made it even better.

LimitedLootHunters by rhewid 2018-08-16T21:57:43Z

Well done, fellow first-timer! I like the concept. The graphics are simple, but effective. Too bad there isn't any audio. Also, it seems like the first two dudes die really quickly. I would've expected that the dude in front would function as a tank or something, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Running out of Space by Gaoyuan Chen 2018-08-13T10:00:26Z

Nice, cool concept! :)

Big Box Mania by jka 2018-08-13T00:01:28Z

@reboundgames Thanks! I see what you're saying about the controls. It's one of those things that seem really simple at first. Personally, I'm quite happy with how it is now, because it was WAY worse only a couple of hours ago, but it could definitely use some more finetuning. :)

Big Box Mania by jka 2018-08-13T00:03:40Z

@josh-riley Thanks! :) I've made that mistake many times before with my unfinished projects. Glad I didn't fall for it again. ;)

Big Box Mania by jka 2018-08-13T00:04:58Z

@moczan Thanks! :)

Big Box Mania by jka 2018-08-13T11:23:17Z

@htmichael I tried making some music for an hour or so, but everything I came up with sounded either corny or annoying after a minute or so, so I decided it was better to leave it out.

Big Box Mania by jka 2018-08-13T14:00:42Z

@swini Thanks! You can actually get the blocks out of the corner by pulling them (hold shift). I should probably update my description to make that a bit more clear.

Big Box Mania by jka 2018-08-13T19:01:23Z

Thanks for the feedback! :v:

@mathiouza I wanted to keep it simple for my first entry, maybe something more innovative next time

@remco Yep, music and art is still an issue for me, something to work on. So I tried to create some style with more programming-based techniques. I wanted to add some more gameplay elements, but I felt that it was more important to polish what I had. I might add some more stuff to it once LD is over.

Big Box Mania by jka 2018-08-13T19:13:34Z

@wrexialmt Haha, I'm glad to see that making that part bold helped. Pulling becomes important mostly when things get stuck in the corners. I agree that it's not really the preferred method of moving the boxes in most cases.

Big Box Mania by jka 2018-08-19T16:35:45Z

@anthony-dunlap Yeah, that's a bug I wasn't able to fix before the deadline. Although, I did manage to make it occur less often. I think it's some kind of timing issue where both a box dropping and a push/pulled box both think a square is empty at the moment the collision is checked.

If I continue to work on this game, I'll probably just refactor the grid system a bit, which should also fix that issue.

Big Box Mania by jka 2018-08-19T16:40:12Z

@lastleaf Thanks for the advice! I think you're right about that, no need to make a simple concept overly complex. I might add some simple powerups, some different levels and difficulties, but will probably leave it at that.

Collapse by Gulfick 2018-08-16T22:07:49Z

The concept is cool! It reminds me of one of the Paper Mario games (for the Wii I think?). It's pretty buggy though. A detail I liked is that you added some camera movement in 3D to simulate walking, instead of just floating.

No More Space in Space by Liven 2018-08-13T00:50:42Z

Nice work! I liked the light stripes in the sidebars. Makes it look fast, nice detail. :)

Beeb's Adventure by HTMichaeL 2018-08-13T11:31:25Z

Really like how the little alien look! The trippy song fits well.

The gameplay feels a little bit flawed to me though. I think that's mostly because you always jump the same distance/height. I think it would help a lot if the distance jumped was determined by how long you keep space pressed. That way it's a little easier to make the smaller jumps. :)

Beeb's Adventure by HTMichaeL 2018-08-15T15:56:21Z

@htmichael Argh, my bad, I completely missed the slow down/speed up controls somehow. It's still pretty hard, but doable!

Running out of RAM - an 80s BASIC programming simulator for C64 by hamrathdoesldjam 2018-08-16T23:01:58Z

Really cool! This feels like one of those games I would spend an afternoon typing into my (ok, my parent's) Acorn Electron from a book as a little kid.

The gameplay is cool, although a little slow, I spent a lot of time just pressing 1. Maybe an option for spending a longer time programming would help with that.

Running out of RAM - an 80s BASIC programming simulator for C64 by hamrathdoesldjam 2018-08-17T13:02:37Z

@hamrathdoesldjam Ah, that makes sense. It felt more like a sim game to me, which is good thing IMO

Byte blasters by Badduck 2018-08-13T10:33:18Z

Nice! Like the pixelart, it's really simple but charming. :) Also really like the screen effect on the beat of the music. It's a nice detail, but could be a little bit more subtle as it's quite strong now and because of that a little bit distracting.

LD44 — Your life is currency

JUNO by DeathBySnail 2019-04-29T12:38:37Z

Really nice job! Retro graphics look great and the music and sound effects are amazing. The gameplay is challenging and fun, though I have to agree with @gamepopper about the turn speed.

LOoSE sLOTS by commanderstitch 2019-04-29T08:43:18Z

Great intro, very funny! The graphics and sounds are nice.

I think it's already been said, but it would be nice to have some more feedback on when you're hitting something or are being it.

Oh and I liked the part about money!

Soul Surge by Brackeys 2019-05-09T11:51:26Z

Nice game! Graphics look really good, I especially liked the effects you used. I had a bit of a problem with hitting enemies without getting hit myself, so I didn't really get very far, but maybe I just suck.

Choice of Life by victorcrafty 2019-04-29T11:33:16Z

Love the pixel art and the way the sacrifices work. I would advice against losing the eyes.

The Fountain of Youth by cenullum 2019-04-29T09:28:33Z

Great job! I really felt that my actions had consequences. The fade in/out effects of the UI are a very nice touch.

The title screen glitch is a little annoying, but you can probably still fix it! (I think bugfixes are allowed after the deadline as long as you provide a changelog )

LifeTime by m4cgregor 2019-04-29T17:15:32Z

Nice job! Had a lot of fun with this one. Only nitpick I have is that I found myself accidentally starting the level when trying to activate the double jump more than once.

Reaper's Keeper by chelC 2019-04-29T10:45:46Z

The graphics are really awesome! Sound is also really good. The gameplay is solid (and gets pretty challlenging!) and everything is so well polished. Excellent job!

World Trader by timbs 2019-04-29T09:53:44Z

I think you have a great idea here! It needs some more work though. It was a bit hard for me to understand what was going on sometimes and what I needed to do. But if you keep working on it, I think this could be quite interesting.

Purple Dimension by XCVZXC 2019-04-29T09:06:05Z

Nice game! Graphics are nice and I love the music.

Crossroads by jka 2019-04-29T10:35:17Z

@commanderstitch That's the feeling I was going for. Glad that worked out.

@crosenlund79 Oh, that is weird! Did you stand near enough to the devil? Some text should pop-up that you can press 1 and/or 2 to buy different powerups.

@strugglesingamedevelopment Haha, I found that weirdly satisfying as well. The harsh difficulty was intentional, but I'm sure it could do with some better balancing.

@paragonraptors The short time is intentional, to force the player to make a quick decision. (The devil is a busy man.) Might have went a bit too far with it though.

@evolus Thanks!

Thanks for playing and the feedback everybody!

Crossroads by jka 2019-04-29T11:12:30Z

@JinTsen The randomness can be a bit harsh at times. All the upgrades stack though. So if you bought piercing bullets, your bullets will pass through 1 enemy. If you get it again it will pass through 2 enemies, etc. So it can be very useful to buy the same upgrade multiple times! I should probably put that in the description though, as I don't think it's obvious.

Also, I found that it sometimes better to buy nothing at all and just get through a wave by having more health points.

Thanks for playing and thanks for your feedback!

Crossroads by jka 2019-04-29T11:14:51Z

@furtive-pygmy @jakobthequizguy Thanks! :smiley:

Crossroads by jka 2019-04-29T11:23:41Z

@victorcrafty I want to keep that time short, but having it a bit longer for the first couple of waves is probably a good solution. Thanks!

Crossroads by jka 2019-04-29T12:30:55Z

@deathbysnail Thanks! I probably spend too much time on that, but I'd like to think it was worth it.

Crossroads by jka 2019-04-29T13:45:40Z

@lyghtningwither Thanks! I'm not that experienced with making music, so I was a bit insecure about it. Glad you liked it. :)

Crossroads by jka 2019-04-30T10:20:48Z

@matt-pattabhi @niteb @m4cgregor @barrier @tudvari Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Save Your Bacon! by Furtive Pygmy 2019-04-29T12:55:10Z

Nice relaxing sound track. The graphics are simple, but you've put in some nice little details, such as the parallax scrolling background and Jeffers blinking ever once in a while. Good job! :)

Rent is Due by JakobTheQuizGuy 2019-04-29T13:12:14Z

Nice game with nice graphics. I like how you have to balance paying of your debt with buying powerups. :)

The Adventures of Bileous by LyghtningWither 2019-04-29T13:53:25Z

Nice, simple game. The particle effects are a nice touch.

Worth a Coin by Evolus 2019-04-29T10:51:53Z

Good job! Loved the car sound

About Ten Years by OddSocks 2019-05-15T13:29:39Z

Cool story, simple but very charming graphics and weird (in a good way!) music. The gameplay gets a bit boring, but the overall mood kept me going. Maybe try adding a pixel perfect camera, I could see the differences in pixel size at times, but that's nitpicking. Very nice job!

Weapon Draw by Niteb 2019-04-29T10:00:22Z

Nice game! (lot of similarities with mine actually ) The gameplay is solid and the audio and graphics are nice. I felt that buying a weapon was really random though and not always an upgrade from the previous one.

Undercave by NoobException 2019-04-29T13:28:43Z

The graphics are simple but charming and the music provides a great atmosphere. You have a lot of different mechanics going on that work very well together and it feels polished as well. The collision with the enemies could be a bit more forgiving though, as I found it really hard (and sometimes impossible) to avoid them, but that's really the only nitpick I have. Great job!

Angry Planet by grllle 2019-04-29T12:27:29Z

Such a wonderful looking game! It actually looks like you're playing the game on a piece of paper. The game play is solid and the audio is excellent. The only fault I can find is that the shaking of the clouds felt a little fiddly to me.

Pay Me in Blood by casperj 2019-04-29T13:42:22Z

Great puzzle game. The gameplay, graphics and audio all fit together perfectly with the theme. I love that it requires no explanation and you immediately know what to do. All it needs is more levels. Excellent job!

utsvulten by ditto 2019-04-29T10:12:47Z

I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing (or if I am supposed to be doing anything), but I love it! The amazing graphics and audio create a weird and awesome vibe. Really nice!

LD 44 Currency is life for Ricardo by Week of the agents 2019-04-29T09:15:55Z

The pixel art is great! I found the gameplay a little boring, but the music and sound effects are nice.

LD46 — Keep it alive

There is no plant B. by jka 2020-04-21T08:44:09Z

@tesseract Sorry you're having problems getting the game to start. That console output is normal, but the game should start running after that. Could be the window manager, I've only tested it under XFCE and that seems to work fine. If you have WINE installed you could also try the Windows version, which also works fine (for me at least )

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

The Loop by minibobbo 2020-10-10T11:12:14Z

Nice old-school boss battle! I like the shield mechanic.

UFO taxi! by island-jam-2-group-3 2020-10-10T11:01:40Z

Too bad the game's so short, because I think the core gameplay idea is really solid!

Stuck While True by jka 2020-10-05T09:48:51Z

@minibobbo: Sorry about that! Some tutorial text should popup during the first couple of puzzles. Weird that it doesn't seem to show up for you. I've added the controls to the description on this page and on the game page. Basically it's just WASD to move and E to grab an object and E again to let go.

Could you tell me which browser you're using on what OS? Perhaps there's a difference there.

Stuck While True by jka 2020-10-06T12:02:53Z

@linus-lindberg Whoops, that's a little level design issue you run into there, it seems. I'll count it as a win though! Thanks for playing!

Stuck While True by jka 2020-10-06T12:04:28Z

@gamepopper Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Good point about the arrow controls, I'll add that to the description.

Stuck While True by jka 2020-10-06T12:07:01Z

@minibobbo Nevermind, I think I figured out what's happening with that text bug (sort of). Turns out that the texts don't show up on Chrome for Windows. Chrome for Linux it works fine, as does Firefox for Windows. Weird!

Stuck While True by jka 2020-10-13T09:54:12Z

@thales-guimaraes, @eusekerci, @dokthar, @spice-cabinet, @dumplingsquid, @inanimatecarbonrod, @island-jam-2-group-3, @quinn-patrick, @iorena: Thanks for playing and for the feedback! :smile:

@quinn-patrick: Totally agree about the player character. I was planning something more interesting for that, but unfortunately I ran out of time.

@iorena: You're right about rotating of course, it can be a bit fiddly. I thought about adding a button for rotating things, but I wanted to keep the control scheme as simple as possible, which might have been the wrong choice.

Also thanks for the feedback on the puzzle difficulty! I found it quite hard to determine how difficult each puzzle needed to be, but it's good to know that I can probably ramp up the difficulty a bit quicker next time.

Stuck While True by jka 2020-10-19T09:26:35Z

@boxcar012 @levidsmith Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

@jegus9 Thanks! I tried to design the puzzles in a way that getting stuck is not possible, but there might be ways to get stuck that I didn't consider. So your suggestion might be a good idea.

Stuck While True by jka 2020-10-22T13:22:31Z

@rolly Thanks for playing! I completely agree with you about the information panels. I started out with them, because of the theme. The hints on them didn't turn out to be very useful, but I kept them in anyway, mostly because I liked the way they look.

LD49 — Unstable

Good writing, nice creepy vibe. And good job on that terminal framework!

Death?Box by wafflesys 2021-10-04T11:41:34Z

It's bit hard to figure out what to do, but luckily it was easy enough to figure out. I like the graphics on what I presume is Schrödinger's cat.

BRIMSTONE by HolyBlackCat 2021-10-04T12:47:10Z

Great game! It looks and feels super polished and there are even quite a lot of levels. Excellent job!

A boat in the storm by jacqueslelezard 2021-10-04T17:56:42Z

Simply concept, but works very well. I love the minimalist graphics!

Blood of Beasts by Jimbly 2021-10-04T12:36:02Z

Very impressive, especially considering the limited resources/time you had at your disposal. Probably the best use of a single battery charge I've ever seen!

Emergency Power by mythalore 2021-10-06T08:18:11Z

I enjoyed that! It's quite a compelling story considering it's pretty short.

I like how the story unfolds more if you don't just follow instructions, which what I did at first (not sure what that says about me )

Leave Me Alone by crazyrems 2021-10-04T11:21:17Z

I can only play for a couple of seconds before it locks up, so I could only rate the graphics really (which look great btw!). I'm running the Linux version.

Unstable Ground by gamepopper 2021-10-04T11:00:56Z

Nice! Love the 1-bit art style. Things really get challenging when the weather starts to hit.

Beep Boop Boba by candlesan 2021-10-04T09:53:40Z

Great game! Fun to play, it's difficulty enough to be challenging, but easy enough to not be frustrating. The voxel graphics are cute. And I love the little detail where some of the customers are shaking to get their coffee.

Monster Burger by Glen Chang 2021-10-06T18:33:11Z

Cool game! The graphics and audio are really great.

Astral Instability by Thinic 2021-10-04T12:08:42Z

Excellent! Graphics are simple, but very effective. Really nice puzzle mechanics and level designs. Especially, the last level had me stumped for a bit, but I found it compelling enough to stick around until I found the solution. Well done!

Cool game, loved the art style and the weird music!

Badly Designed Cargo Delivery Pad by jka 2021-10-03T23:47:48Z

That's strange. I don't seem to be having any performance issues, but I've only tested in Firefox and Chromium, so it might be browser related?

Also, the help view should clear out after the first stage and only show again if you press "H" or the button. So I'm not sure what's happening there.

The controls might be a bit confusing, but that's by design. My thought was, that pressing right should activate the right-side engine. Might have been overthinking that one though.

Thanks for playing!

Badly Designed Cargo Delivery Pad by jka 2021-10-04T10:17:21Z

@kazatan Whoops, that's what happens when you make the tutorial in the final hour, I guess. I'll add some text at to this page to explain how to get to the next level, at least.

The difficulty is a bit luck based, due to the procedural level generation, so yeah that can happen.

Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing!

Badly Designed Cargo Delivery Pad by jka 2021-10-04T14:06:58Z

@faux-grey: The pad was actually an inanimate object until a couple of minutes before submission. I thought it looked kinda boring, so I quickly added a pair of eyes.

The text placement there is unfortunate. I added the tutorial text pretty much last minute and only tested it in full screen mode I think, in which case it doesn't overlap, so that's probably why I missed it. Glad you figured it out anyway!

Thanks for playing!

Badly Designed Cargo Delivery Pad by jka 2021-10-04T17:41:25Z

@dennis-magnusson The levels are random, so the difficulty can vary, maybe a bit too much sometime.

@alice-02 Yeah, I get that, maybe 10 would've been a better number.

Thanks for playing!

@gamepopper Originally, I wanted an automated reset system, but realized that I didn't have the time for that, so I had to do it like this last minute. Totally agree, it's not optimal. Thanks for playing and the feedback!

@wafflesys @owca @morris Thanks for playing! :smiley:

Badly Designed Cargo Delivery Pad by jka 2021-10-06T08:26:23Z

@glen-chang Yeah, that's fair. It could do with some better balancing in that regard. Glad you enjoyed it, you've made it farther than I ever did, I think. So congrats on that!

@solah @mythalore Thanks for playing!

Unstable Prison by Barrier 2021-10-08T15:28:30Z

Nice game! The difficulty's well-balanced. It's challenging, but not too hard. Also, very scary vibe!

Professor Unstable's Chemical Combustion by Kazatan 2021-10-04T14:21:33Z

Well, I'm still not great at chemistry, I guess. Great concept though and it looks good too! The shattering glass got a bit of jumpscare out of me.

Volcano Containment by Morris 2021-10-04T10:00:27Z

Cool concept! Love the hookshot. It's really hard though, because the movement feels a bit slippery and the platforms a bit small. But if you tweak those things, this could be quite addictive!

Arrhythmus by justolinas 2021-10-04T11:10:41Z

Good job! Bit short, but I like the spooky vibe. Great job on the main characters animation.

Oopsie Potion by CodeRaurus 2021-10-06T18:39:47Z

Nice job! The game's pretty short, but it works well. The artwork is really great!

Horsey Bash by jakefriend 2021-10-04T10:14:29Z

Really awesome entry! The amount of polish is very impressive. It looks and feels great from the moment you enter the main menu. The gameplay is a lot of fun. The only complaint I have is that in some situations you can get hit by enemies you weren't able to predict after bashing in a random direction, which can feel a bit unfair. Other than that, it's pretty much the perfect entry!

Humble Homestead by Tharbakim 2021-10-04T09:42:13Z

Cool concept! I think it needs some sort of tutorial though. I had a hard time figuring out that I could sell the animals to make money.

Unstable POTions by owca 2021-10-04T10:49:14Z

Great game! The graphics are great, I especially liked the potion effects. The leaderboard is a cool touch!

Love the artstyle!

the end by Dennis Magnusson 2021-10-04T17:51:49Z

Great mood! Never before has balancing two circles felt so epic!

Charon by EthanKessler 2021-10-04T18:06:28Z

Cool concept, though I was a bit confused on how to play. I didn't really a lot of barrels to steer with, it seems. Maybe I just did something wrong though. The artwork is awesome, as is the music!

Bear Ferry Simulator by guntrip 2021-10-08T15:35:07Z

Nice job! I especially like how the bears look, very cute!

UNSTABLI by ALAN001 2021-10-04T11:03:59Z

@alan001 I had this exact same problem with my WebGL build. I fixed it by enabling "Decompression Fallback" in the project settings. You can find it under "Project Settings > Player > Publishing Settings".

That was an experience. Thanks.

Channel 59 by auxC 2026-04-23T21:35:01Z

Great game! I didn't manage to finish it, because I lost my ladders, stuck in various walls. The graphics look very good, creates a nice mood. Humor's reminds me a lot of High on Life. Well done!

Space Record Studio by kayrum 2026-04-21T22:36:47Z

Awesome entry, easily my favorite so far! Mixing a tune together is really satisfying. The whole vibe is extremely charming. Very polished, didn't run into any bugs. Moving through the stars was a bit slow, I found myself just wanting to click on them to move to them more quickly, but that's pretty minor gripe about an otherwise flawless entry. Very well done!

Below the Light by Beebo Studios 2026-04-29T21:40:39Z

Great atmosphere! The graphics are very charming and the music fits the eerie vibe really well. Some of the puzzles were just a tad bit too far-fetched for me, but with a couple of hints from the walkthrough (thanks for that  ) I got to the end ultimately. I did have to restart once, because I got stuck in a room because of a bug. Great job!

Average League by N.O.X 2026-04-23T20:28:23Z

Great entry! The drawings are really great and the idea of super heroes with lackluster super-powers is very funny. :) Good difficulty balance. I did find the drawing of the logos a bit finicky, but it's very possible I just wasn't doing it correctly.

Manual Launch Control by jka 2026-04-21T19:54:35Z

@tenthousandfireants I was a bit worried it would be too hard, so I was glad to see someone made it all the way through.

@jamope I could say that that was left intentionally vague to add a bit of a puzzle element to the game and that wouldn't be a lie exactly, but it was also a choice made due to the time restrictions.

@saloid Haven't run into that one myself, but I'm sure there's a couple of more of those in there. :bug: My personal favorite is the one where an orbit ring attaches itself to you and you run off together. But that's not a bug, that's just romance options. :two_hearts:

@vadoha5 @vorkuta @kayrum Thanks for playing and the feedback everyone

Manual Launch Control by jka 2026-04-25T16:07:06Z

@wisstopher Don't worry about it, the probes are probably unmanned. I hope. :fingers_crossed:

@nexusasx10 To be honest, neither can I.

Manual Launch Control by jka 2026-04-26T20:19:14Z

@feffers I agree the controls need some more tweaking, ran out of time unfortunately. Thanks for playing

Manual Launch Control by jka 2026-04-29T20:23:59Z

@ruruie Yeah, the boost is intended. Initially we had the idea that players would use the gravity of planets to build momentum and do a bit of slingshot, so you could launch yourself a bit towards your next target. That turned out to be too hard to pull off, so we came up with the auto-orbit and boost mechanic.

Manual Launch Control by jka 2026-05-07T14:19:54Z

@allax Haven't ran into that issue myself, could be a bug of some kind maybe?

Though having planets in your way shouldn't necessarily be an issue. You can get in their orbit and then launch yourself from there to move onto the other planets.

Manual Launch Control by jka 2026-05-10T08:56:32Z

@allax Ah, yes! I don't want to spoil too much here, because that's meant to be a bit of a puzzle element, but there's some buttons/lights that should help you solve that problem.

Pied Piper TD by Onizik 2026-04-23T19:52:29Z

Fun tower defense game! Nice level of challenge, though once you only have one house left, it becomes pretty easy to just keep the spiders in your signal range and prevent them from eating the last house. Like the programmer art, the spiders are actually kind of intimidating. :D

First Contact 3000 by 23edsa 2026-04-21T21:41:55Z

Nice relaxing game. Very polished, didn't run into any bugs, other than the buildings will overlap with the UI on the top if you place them in the top row. Looping music sometimes gets annoying after a bit, but not at all here. It's really nice and chill. :)

Hijack Waves by JuanRod707 2026-04-25T15:45:11Z

Nice game! Well polished, the graphics are great. The music gave me Command & Conquer vibes. Well done!

Bag of Beholding by Jawdan 2026-04-21T21:00:02Z

I really like the pixel art-style! I think it mostly misses some feedback to the player about what an action does exactly. Reminds me of Backpack Hero. :)

MONITORS by hotdog 2026-04-21T21:53:57Z

I scare pretty easily and am therefore not great with horror games, so those two minutes were pretty long for me. Means it was freaking scary though, so well done! Great mood. I loved the musical reward at the end. xD

ACEspionage by LetsSnack 2026-04-29T21:04:33Z

Nice entry! Great artstyle and the music is great as well. It all looks and feels very polished. I did miss some sound effects, especially when resolving I think that would be helpful.

Deep Fall by qmdev 2026-04-21T21:16:17Z

Though I think it could do with another mechanic for a bit of variation, I do like how the game is in service of one simple concept. It's actually quite hard to keep the scope of a game small enough so you end up with something polished at the end. You managed to that with your first attempt. Well done!

5G Crash by krawa 2026-04-23T20:58:34Z

Had a lot of fun with this one! The art's really cool and funny. Was chuckling when the guy with the bathtub on his back first showed up  Had my head banging throughout, the music is stellar :metal:

Glitched Signal by Jamope_ 2026-04-21T22:46:52Z

Cool, I love the style. It's moody and a little creepy. I couldn't get past the radio tower, the guy behind me was too fast for me to find the right frequency and stay ahead of 'em. Using the scroll wheel to scroll through radio frequencies is a creative idea, feels very immersive!

Call of the Signal by nexusasx10 2026-04-25T16:21:00Z

Nice entry, great atmosphere. You got a lot done as a single person team. Well done!
