Seems to be a great start to a project. I enjoyed the clean graphics. I too was a little confused at the start, so a tutorial would probably help. I didn't have time for that sort of thing either in my game. Amazing first LD entry βοΈ

Great game. I kept playing this for longer than most LD entries. I was inevitably going to fail, but the desire to try again and survive longer was high! Really nicely done game π
Love the pixel art graphics. It's all very clean and crisp - something I love when it comes to pixel pushing! The attack system seemed to be a little glitchy, and if there was an attack sound and something to show when you are taking damage, that would be fantastic. Otherwise, solid LD entry π

Super interesting take on the theme. I initially went straight for the sun, but on my second attempt I had a good exploration of the game world and read all the lore. Like others have said, really interesting putting it all together. Great game π

I really enjoyed this game. I feel like the potential is high, and who doesn't like vampires?! Interesting that the game was about the transition sort of phase. The only thing that bugged me was the font! But I understand it fitted with the general vibe. Good LD entry π

What a fantastic game. Really enjoyed playing it. One thing I would say is that it would help if the hat would fly off in the last direction the player had moved. It caught me off guard a few times where the hat would default to down. Other than that, this was a fab game. The pixel art was terrific, the characters was interesting, and there was purpose to what you were doing. Great LD entry π

I liked the art style. The physics could have done with a little tweaking maybe. It was a short game, but then an LD game is supposed to be a prototype anyhow. I really liked it, lots of good concepts. I would like to see where you could go with it if you develop any further. Great LD entry π

Wow. What a game. Just using 2 colours to such effect is a true skill. How you made this over a weekend is mind boggling! Little details, like how the air supple cable will make the character bounce back and forth as it moves, and the overall super fine tuned physics of the whole game, make this a truly stunning LD entry. Looking forward to seeing more games from you.
What isn't to love about this game! The pixel art and colour palette is stunning. It's spot on with the theme. Both relaxing, but also with a certain level of suspense - which, along with some terrific music, adds a decent amount of atmosphere. Best LD entry I've played so far. I'll be following :D

What a great game and idea. Theme was spot on for sure. I was a happy fella when I got that extra large pickaxe! The sounds were great, pixel art spot on. It might not have been your intention, but it kind of looks like he's headbutting the ground, which was just brilliant. Fantastic LD entry π

I worked out how to slow down π, so managed to save the fella. It is a good concept and fits with the theme well. Only thing that bothered me was the size of the colliders on the obstacles. Congrats on a great submission π

Just starting this game was awesome! Loved the sound effects as the menu revealed itself. The polish you added is amazing, doubly so as this is a compo. Challenge vs reward was right on point. Thoroughly enjoyable game. I want to have a comment on something you should change, or that wasn't working... but I'm at a blank!!!

Not a bad game at all. It would have been nice to have had some random maps, or just a few different variations. Playing got a little tedious after a while, but for a 72 hour game, this was really good. A few bonus pick ups might work well too, like a speed boost, or something to slow battery discharge for a while?

Cool idea. The key bindings were off. 'wasd' wasn't working and they were bound to zqad I think. I was using chrome is that helps with fixing it. I really like the idea though, but got stuck when none of the emoji's worked on the characters anymore. Love the art.
I enjoyed this. It was a short experience, but really good. The art was interesting and fitted perfectly with the style. The challenge was lacking, and not collecting items didn't seem to change anything. But I would love to see the other days and extra challenge added. Great LD entry.
I had to play it solo! The amount of work that went into this game must have been huge! The art is fantastic, reminiscent of Don't Starve. Really loved the artwork :D The music was really great too. Solid smooth game play. The only downside I can think of right now was that there is no player vs computer. But as you only had a weekend to get it down, that doesn't surprise me!
If you do carry on working on it, PvC would be an awesome addition.

Awesome game. I actually managed to play it on my iPhone! Couldnβt move around. But had great fun shooting. Music was fantastic, as was the sound effects. Loved the voxel/vector art mix. Colliders on enemies were a little off, but that was likely because I was using my phone to play it?! Congrats for this great entry.

Great game. Loved the art style. Nice and different compared to the rest of the games I've played so far. Enjoyed the tactical (almost puzzle) based movement. Thinking a little ahead came in handy a lot! There were one or two jittery moments between character dialogue where the background room would flash up. But for a game made in 48 hours, its pretty well polished. Nice one!

Very enjoyable game. I was hooked pretty fast. The level challenge steadily got harder which was spot on. The shop might not have been needed. I think just pressing space to create a box and then deducting from your health would have worked fine (likewise for chests). But either way it works great. The theme was there for sure. I loved this game. Stream trains have always had a soft spot in my heart! Loved having to add coal. I found that there needed to be a balance with the speed, so that you could get off to defend, but not have the train get to far ahead. For a 48 hour game it's amazing. Congrats.
Fab little game. Really enjoyed this one. It was quite a dark sort of subject, abducting people and then harvesting stuff from them. But it somehow felt light and breezy! Clever stuff.
Love the artwork. Stunning. Got really hooked on the gameplay. There was a very strong dystopian feel to it. I felt genuinely sorry for some of the people! Especially the ones willing to pay loads of money but have 100% chance of death. I always took the money!!!

A good start to the game for sure. The hit detection was a little off. But the graphics were great. The one thing I struggled with the most was the movement system. Looked a little off while moving backwards with a forward running animation. Still... amazing work for just a weekend.
