Good game! although it's a bit unfinished, overall it's good!

A good attempt! I was getting a lot of bad runs due to issues with the map generator, particularly I got this one where the green portal generated in a room with a glitched entrance. Totally understandable issue though with how little time there was to actually make these games. I enjoyed the worldbuilding and setting from what I could gather from the gameplay and art alone.

The environment was well designed. I like the look. The lack of sound took me out of it. Must have been a time thing. Would like to see some kind of indication that damage was being dealt to the enemies but it's a nice entry.
Thanks for the feedback
@zack-hd I think that one of the exits of the room rests against the wall of another room, this is normal, usually it means that there is another entrance to the room.
@stalemeat yes, there was not enough time, mostly because of studying. I plan to post a blog where I will talk about what was not included in the prototype and will be done in the future, but I can say that initially the game should have had a city and bosses
Love the graphics here, and love the concept of a wave zombie defender! Really reminds me of games on atari consoles. Would love to see a ranged weapon too, maybe with some ammo drops so its not too overpowered! There's some potential for multiplayer too :). Great job!
The art was great. Would have loved a little music. An attacking sound effect would help me know that I was actually attacked, and even if there's no music it would create a feeling that you're alone and lost in this snowy land!
I see potential in this, graphics are nice sound is one of those things we all tend to ignore or run out of time so I totally get it. In 3 days this is pretty well done. keep it up!
I was not expecting the map to change. Great entry I love this art style and the simplicity of the UI. Well done!
Could have used some sound I think, but the graphics were neat!
Love the pixel art graphics. It's all very clean and crisp - something I love when it comes to pixel pushing! The attack system seemed to be a little glitchy, and if there was an attack sound and something to show when you are taking damage, that would be fantastic. Otherwise, solid LD entry :raised_hands:
Really good graphics I especially liked the portal. Took me a while to work out what I was doing. Nice work.
Interesting concept. Reminds me of that sonic fan game where you're bringing eggs to the Dr. Robotnik creature. A little bit unpolished in some places, like sound effect implementation, but that is to be expected with an LD game. I'm not good at this game, but it's cool!
I liked the unique graphics. Attacking seemed a bit buggy, often felt like it didn't work.
It's a nice premise, but the game needs some work. Especially some feedback for when you hit/miss zombies or can/cannot put rings on an altar and what exactly does it do. The procedural generation was nice.
Nice pixel art! The GUI also looks solid. I bit confusing about the goal of the game, so more explanation would be a nice addition. Also, the attack animation is really fast, slowing it down would be nice. Anyway, well done.
The attack didn't work for me. The animation was just flashing for one frame and disappeared again immediatly.
The pixel graphics looked very good! Just try to keep alle the pixels to the same resolution. Then it will look even better. You had some problems with the y-sorting of the objects (player in front of the large stones). Also the collision was off sometimes, where I could walk inside a wall.
Very promising game. Good job and keep it up! :)
There's some mechanics stub there, but it still needs some more polish and variety. In particular, there's the troublesome bug with portal spawning right on the altar, or the issue with sometimes being unable to find the altar in the first place (and it's quite crucial in a game like that). Also, it needs some kind of score/progress tracking - don't know if the metric would be times teleported, or zombies petted, or total number of memorabilia collected, or maybe the score would be a combination of all of these. Tracking the score would definitely improve the replayability. ^^
Visuals are nice (though some more variety would be welcome, e.g. different types of areas, enemies etc.). No audio to speak of, as far as I can tell. u_u'
Very nice job on the environment! The game does obviously need some work still. The most problematic things I ran into were the lack of feedback when attacking zombies and lack of feedback at the altar. Took me a bit to realize I needed 5 rings to do something. I'm also not sure what the bar at the top does when it runs out. Not a bad game, just needs a bit more work.
