It gave me an error "We couldn't find your page"
I liked the art in the background, but I think it distracted me a lot from the actual game, which sadly was a bit monotonous..
WTF!
I liked your game my congratulations, I also did one if you want to know, and give me your feedback I am very grateful, this is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/resurrection

It gives me a "Your browser does not support WebGL" error, even though I'm using Chrome latest. (no errors shown in the console)
Pretty good fits the theme of stuck in a loop just right. I loved the back ground btw
Interesting concept, I really like the art (background characters are a treat haha) The game does need a bit more going on, but I like the direction you were going!
Super artwork, especially the title screen, character, and background elements. You nailed the theme. Is there any solution to overcome the loop?
Thanks everyone for the comments!
@majadroid Unfortunately there is no solution for overcoming the loop :(
The character animation is terrific. I really mean that. Spot on with the theme too! Music was great. All in all... a great LD submission. Congrats :raised_hands:
I appreciate the mythological reference, but I suppose fruitless and monotonous tasks don't really make for fun experiences. I also found the visuals really discordant and messy - having the lovingly shaded pixel art sisyphus pushing a perfectly round boulder up a hill dotted with flat shaded, lower-res pixel art trees and vector-graphic rocks, with a unity skybox and yet more different resolutions of pixel art in the background really didn't work for me, it was pretty distracting. In any case, though, it's a huge achievement to get a game finished in such a short space of time, and I wish you luck on your future projects! Well done.
Good concept +art looks good. I love those background characters
The animations was great and, compared a lot of other games, the character really is stuck in a loop.
Nice job, cool graphics, but im stuck :D
Suits the theme and nice graphics, but I don't know if we can call that a game :sweat_drops: :sob:
Music didnt seem to fit at all. Game just felt a little, uninspired. Sorry :(
The background and art was so nice too look at (hehe) I got pushed down the hill often, resetting the progress. Was this intended? Could not "play" much here
hahaha :v: nice game and really cool concept
It's iteresting and the art is nice but it's honestly just annoying.
Interesting game, like you the theme remind me the story of Sisyphe, and you used it to make an interactive experience for talking about metaphor on perseverance, life experience, social etc... that works fine ! Good work on it !
Neat idea, but it's lacking in content and things to do. I like the mythology reference though, and the artwork is pretty top-notch!
Lol nice concept, reminds me of the intro of the game Rock of Ages. Is there an ending?
Amazing art & music! Love it! =)
very interesting premise ,not bad allin all
I guess we really are stuck in a loop with this one. The art is really pretty. What did you use to make the music?
I don't know if really matters, but I encountered some glitches when being pushed down. Sometimes I was not able to start to climb again for 5 or 6 seconds. And the grass seems to despawn when we go upper and we can see it respawn when we're down.
It's simple, but fun. A series of minigames with different mythological mini-scenes like could be a nice strange conceptual game.
